58:1
قَدۡ
qad
Indeed
سَمِعَ
sami'a
Allah has heard
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah has heard
قَوۡلَ
qawla
(the) speech
ٱلَّتِي
allati
(of one) who
تُجَٰدِلُكَ
tujadiluka
disputes with you
فِي
fi
concerning
زَوۡجِهَا
zawjiha
her husband
وَتَشۡتَكِيٓ
watashtaki
and she directs her complaint
إِلَى
ila
to
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
يَسۡمَعُ
yasma'u
hears
تَحَاوُرَكُمَآۚ
tahawurakuma
(the) dialogue of both of you
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
سَمِيعُۢ
sami'un
(is) All-Hearer
بَصِيرٌ
basirun
All-Seer
١
58:2
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
Those who
يُظَٰهِرُونَ
yuzahiruna
pronounce zihar
مِنكُم
minkum
among you
مِّن
min
[from]
نِّسَآئِهِم
nisaihim
(to) their wives
مَّا
ma
not
هُنَّ
hunna
they
أُمَّهَٰتِهِمۡۖ
ummahatihim
(are) their mothers
إِنۡ
in
Not
أُمَّهَٰتُهُمۡ
ummahatuhum
(are) their mothers
إِلَّا
illa
except
ٱلَّٰٓـِٔي
allai
those who
وَلَدۡنَهُمۡۚ
waladnahum
gave them birth
وَإِنَّهُمۡ
wa-innahum
And indeed they
لَيَقُولُونَ
layaquluna
surely say
مُنكَرٗا
munkaran
an evil
مِّنَ
mina
[of]
ٱلۡقَوۡلِ
al-qawli
[the] word
وَزُورٗاۚ
wazuran
and a lie
وَإِنَّ
wa-inna
But indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
لَعَفُوٌّ
la'afuwwun
(is) surely Oft-Pardoning
غَفُورٞ
ghafurun
Oft-Forgiving
٢
58:3
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
And those who
يُظَٰهِرُونَ
yuzahiruna
pronounce zihar
مِن
min
[from]
نِّسَآئِهِمۡ
nisaihim
(to) their wives
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
يَعُودُونَ
ya'uduna
go back
لِمَا
lima
on what
قَالُواْ
qalu
they said
فَتَحۡرِيرُ
fatahriru
then freeing
رَقَبَةٖ
raqabatin
(of) a slave
مِّن
min
before
قَبۡلِ
qabli
before
أَن
an
[that]
يَتَمَآسَّاۚ
yatamassa
they touch each other
ذَٰلِكُمۡ
dhalikum
That
تُوعَظُونَ
tu'azuna
you are admonished
بِهِۦۚ
bihi
to it
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
بِمَا
bima
of what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
ta'maluna
you do
خَبِيرٞ
khabirun
(is) All-Aware
٣
58:4
فَمَن
faman
Then whoever
لَّمۡ
lam
(does) not
يَجِدۡ
yajid
find
فَصِيَامُ
fasiyamu
then fasting
شَهۡرَيۡنِ
shahrayni
(for) two months
مُتَتَابِعَيۡنِ
mutatabi'ayni
consecutively
مِن
min
before
قَبۡلِ
qabli
before
أَن
an
[that]
يَتَمَآسَّاۖ
yatamassa
they both touch each other
فَمَن
faman
But (he) who
لَّمۡ
lam
not
يَسۡتَطِعۡ
yastati'
is able
فَإِطۡعَامُ
fa-it'amu
then (the) feeding
سِتِّينَ
sittina
(of) sixty
مِسۡكِينٗاۚ
mis'kinan
needy one(s)
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
لِتُؤۡمِنُواْ
litu'minu
so that you may believe
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
in Allah
وَرَسُولِهِۦۚ
warasulihi
and His Messenger
وَتِلۡكَ
watil'ka
and these
حُدُودُ
hududu
(are the) limits
ٱللَّهِۗ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
وَلِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
walil'kafirina
and for the disbelievers
عَذَابٌ
adhabun
(is) a punishment
أَلِيمٌ
alimun
painful
٤
58:5
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
يُحَآدُّونَ
yuhadduna
oppose
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥ
warasulahu
and His Messenger
كُبِتُواْ
kubitu
(will) be disgraced
كَمَا
kama
as
كُبِتَ
kubita
were disgraced
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those
مِن
min
before them
قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ
qablihim
before them
وَقَدۡ
waqad
And certainly
أَنزَلۡنَآ
anzalna
We have sent down
ءَايَٰتِۭ
ayatin
Verses
بَيِّنَٰتٖۚ
bayyinatin
clear
وَلِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
walil'kafirina
And for the disbelievers
عَذَابٞ
adhabun
(is) a punishment
مُّهِينٞ
muhinun
humiliating
٥
58:6
يَوۡمَ
yawma
(On the) Day
يَبۡعَثُهُمُ
yab'athuhumu
(when) Allah will raise them
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
(when) Allah will raise them
جَمِيعٗا
jami'an
all
فَيُنَبِّئُهُم
fayunabbi-uhum
and inform them
بِمَا
bima
of what
عَمِلُوٓاْۚ
amilu
they did
أَحۡصَىٰهُ
ahsahu
Allah has recorded it
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah has recorded it
وَنَسُوهُۚ
wanasuhu
while they forgot it
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
عَلَىٰ
ala
(is) over
كُلِّ
kulli
all
شَيۡءٖ
shayin
things
شَهِيدٌ
shahidun
a Witness

أَلَمۡ
alam
Do not
تَرَ
tara
you see
أَنَّ
anna
that
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
يَعۡلَمُ
ya'lamu
knows
مَا
ma
whatever
فِي
fi
(is) in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَمَا
wama
and whatever
فِي
fi
(is) in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ
al-ardi
the earth
مَا
ma
Not
يَكُونُ
yakunu
there is
مِن
min
any
نَّجۡوَىٰ
najwa
secret counsel
ثَلَٰثَةٍ
thalathatin
(of) three
إِلَّا
illa
but
هُوَ
huwa
He (is)
رَابِعُهُمۡ
rabi'uhum
(the) fourth of them
وَلَا
wala
and not
خَمۡسَةٍ
khamsatin
five
إِلَّا
illa
but
هُوَ
huwa
He (is)
سَادِسُهُمۡ
sadisuhum
(the) sixth of them
وَلَآ
wala
and not
أَدۡنَىٰ
adna
less
مِن
min
than
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
that
وَلَآ
wala
and not
أَكۡثَرَ
akthara
more
إِلَّا
illa
but
هُوَ
huwa
He
مَعَهُمۡ
ma'ahum
(is) with them
أَيۡنَ
ayna
wherever
مَا
ma
wherever
كَانُواْۖ
kanu
they are
ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
يُنَبِّئُهُم
yunabbi-uhum
He will inform them
بِمَا
bima
of what
عَمِلُواْ
amilu
they did
يَوۡمَ
yawma
(on the) Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِۚ
al-qiyamati
(of) the Resurrection
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
بِكُلِّ
bikulli
of every
شَيۡءٍ
shayin
thing
عَلِيمٌ
alimun
(is) All-Knower
٧
58:8
أَلَمۡ
alam
Do not
تَرَ
tara
you see
إِلَى
ila
[to]
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
نُهُواْ
nuhu
were forbidden
عَنِ
ani
from
ٱلنَّجۡوَىٰ
al-najwa
secret counsels
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
يَعُودُونَ
ya'uduna
they return
لِمَا
lima
to what
نُهُواْ
nuhu
they were forbidden
عَنۡهُ
anhu
from [it]
وَيَتَنَٰجَوۡنَ
wayatanajawna
and they hold secret counsels
بِٱلۡإِثۡمِ
bil-ith'mi
for sin
وَٱلۡعُدۡوَٰنِ
wal-'ud'wani
and aggression
وَمَعۡصِيَتِ
wama'siyati
and disobedience
ٱلرَّسُولِۖ
al-rasuli
(to) the Messenger
وَإِذَا
wa-idha
And when
جَآءُوكَ
jauka
they come to you
حَيَّوۡكَ
hayyawka
they greet you
بِمَا
bima
with what
لَمۡ
lam
not
يُحَيِّكَ
yuhayyika
greets you
بِهِ
bihi
therewith
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
وَيَقُولُونَ
wayaquluna
and they say
فِيٓ
fi
among
أَنفُسِهِمۡ
anfusihim
themselves
لَوۡلَا
lawla
Why (does) not
يُعَذِّبُنَا
yu'adhibuna
Allah punish us
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah punish us
بِمَا
bima
for what
نَقُولُۚ
naqulu
we say
حَسۡبُهُمۡ
hasbuhum
Sufficient (for) them
جَهَنَّمُ
jahannamu
(is) Hell
يَصۡلَوۡنَهَاۖ
yaslawnaha
they will burn in it
فَبِئۡسَ
fabi'sa
and worst is
ٱلۡمَصِيرُ
al-masiru
the destination
٨
58:9
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
O you who believe
ءَامَنُوٓاْ
amanu
O you who believe
إِذَا
idha
When
تَنَٰجَيۡتُمۡ
tanajaytum
you hold secret counsel
فَلَا
fala
then (do) not
تَتَنَٰجَوۡاْ
tatanajaw
hold secret counsel
بِٱلۡإِثۡمِ
bil-ith'mi
for sin
وَٱلۡعُدۡوَٰنِ
wal-'ud'wani
and aggression
وَمَعۡصِيَتِ
wama'siyati
and disobedience
ٱلرَّسُولِ
al-rasuli
(to) the Messenger
وَتَنَٰجَوۡاْ
watanajaw
but hold secret counsel
بِٱلۡبِرِّ
bil-biri
for righteousness
وَٱلتَّقۡوَىٰۖ
wal-taqwa
and piety
وَٱتَّقُواْ
wa-ittaqu
And fear
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
ٱلَّذِيٓ
alladhi
the One Who
إِلَيۡهِ
ilayhi
to Him
تُحۡشَرُونَ
tuh'sharuna
you will be gathered
٩
58:10
إِنَّمَا
innama
Only
ٱلنَّجۡوَىٰ
al-najwa
the secret counsels
مِنَ
mina
(are) from
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنِ
al-shaytani
the Shaitaan
لِيَحۡزُنَ
liyahzuna
that he may grieve
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
وَلَيۡسَ
walaysa
but not
بِضَآرِّهِمۡ
bidarrihim
he (can) harm them
شَيۡـًٔا
shayan
(in) anything
إِلَّا
illa
except
بِإِذۡنِ
bi-idh'ni
by Allah's permission
ٱللَّهِۚ
al-lahi
by Allah's permission
وَعَلَى
wa'ala
And upon
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
فَلۡيَتَوَكَّلِ
falyatawakkali
let put (their) trust
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ
al-mu'minuna
the believers
١٠
58:11
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
O you who believe
ءَامَنُوٓاْ
amanu
O you who believe
إِذَا
idha
When
قِيلَ
qila
it is said
لَكُمۡ
lakum
to you
تَفَسَّحُواْ
tafassahu
Make room
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡمَجَٰلِسِ
al-majalisi
the assemblies
فَٱفۡسَحُواْ
fa-if'sahu
then make room
يَفۡسَحِ
yafsahi
Allah will make room
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah will make room
لَكُمۡۖ
lakum
for you
وَإِذَا
wa-idha
And when
قِيلَ
qila
it is said
ٱنشُزُواْ
unshuzu
Rise up
فَٱنشُزُواْ
fa-unshuzu
then rise up
يَرۡفَعِ
yarfa'i
Allah will raise
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah will raise
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
مِنكُمۡ
minkum
among you
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
and those who
أُوتُواْ
utu
were given
ٱلۡعِلۡمَ
al-'il'ma
the knowledge
دَرَجَٰتٖۚ
darajatin
(in) degrees
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
بِمَا
bima
of what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
ta'maluna
you do
خَبِيرٞ
khabirun
(is) All-Aware

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
O you who believe
ءَامَنُوٓاْ
amanu
O you who believe
إِذَا
idha
When
نَٰجَيۡتُمُ
najaytumu
you privately consult
ٱلرَّسُولَ
al-rasula
the Messenger
فَقَدِّمُواْ
faqaddimu
then offer
بَيۡنَ
bayna
before
يَدَيۡ
yaday
before
نَجۡوَىٰكُمۡ
najwakum
your private consultation
صَدَقَةٗۚ
sadaqatan
charity
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
خَيۡرٞ
khayrun
(is) better
لَّكُمۡ
lakum
for you
وَأَطۡهَرُۚ
wa-atharu
and purer
فَإِن
fa-in
But if
لَّمۡ
lam
not
تَجِدُواْ
tajidu
you find
فَإِنَّ
fa-inna
then indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
غَفُورٞ
ghafurun
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٌ
rahimun
Most Merciful
١٢
58:13
ءَأَشۡفَقۡتُمۡ
a-ashfaqtum
Are you afraid
أَن
an
to
تُقَدِّمُواْ
tuqaddimu
offer
بَيۡنَ
bayna
before
يَدَيۡ
yaday
before
نَجۡوَىٰكُمۡ
najwakum
your private consultation
صَدَقَٰتٖۚ
sadaqatin
charities
فَإِذۡ
fa-idh
Then when
لَمۡ
lam
you do not
تَفۡعَلُواْ
taf 'alu
you do not
وَتَابَ
wataba
and Allah has forgiven
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
and Allah has forgiven
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
alaykum
you
فَأَقِيمُواْ
fa-aqimu
then establish
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
al-salata
the prayer
وَءَاتُواْ
waatu
and give
ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ
al-zakata
the zakah
وَأَطِيعُواْ
wa-ati'u
and obey
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥۚ
warasulahu
and His Messenger
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
خَبِيرُۢ
khabirun
(is) All-Aware
بِمَا
bima
of what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
ta'maluna
you do
١٣
58:14
۞أَلَمۡ
alam
Do not
تَرَ
tara
you see
إِلَى
ila
[to]
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
تَوَلَّوۡاْ
tawallaw
take as allies
قَوۡمًا
qawman
a people
غَضِبَ
ghadiba
wrath
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
(of) Allah
عَلَيۡهِم
alayhim
(is) upon them
مَّا
ma
They (are) not
هُم
hum
They (are) not
مِّنكُمۡ
minkum
of you
وَلَا
wala
and not
مِنۡهُمۡ
min'hum
of them
وَيَحۡلِفُونَ
wayahlifuna
and they swear
عَلَى
ala
to
ٱلۡكَذِبِ
al-kadhibi
the lie
وَهُمۡ
wahum
while they
يَعۡلَمُونَ
ya'lamuna
know
١٤
58:15
أَعَدَّ
a'adda
Allah has prepared
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah has prepared
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
عَذَابٗا
adhaban
a punishment
شَدِيدًاۖ
shadidan
severe
إِنَّهُمۡ
innahum
Indeed [they]
سَآءَ
saa
evil is
مَا
ma
what
كَانُواْ
kanu
they used to
يَعۡمَلُونَ
ya'maluna
do
١٥
58:16
ٱتَّخَذُوٓاْ
ittakhadhu
They have taken
أَيۡمَٰنَهُمۡ
aymanahum
their oaths
جُنَّةٗ
junnatan
(as) a cover
فَصَدُّواْ
fasaddu
so they hinder
عَن
an
from
سَبِيلِ
sabili
(the) way of Allah
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(the) way of Allah
فَلَهُمۡ
falahum
so for them
عَذَابٞ
adhabun
(is) a punishment
مُّهِينٞ
muhinun
humiliating
١٦
58:17
لَّن
lan
Never
تُغۡنِيَ
tugh'niya
will avail
عَنۡهُمۡ
anhum
them
أَمۡوَٰلُهُمۡ
amwaluhum
their wealth
وَلَآ
wala
and not
أَوۡلَٰدُهُم
awladuhum
their children
مِّنَ
mina
against
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
شَيۡـًٔاۚ
shayan
(in) anything
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
Those
أَصۡحَٰبُ
ashabu
(will be) companions
ٱلنَّارِۖ
al-nari
(of) the Fire
هُمۡ
hum
they
فِيهَا
fiha
in it
خَٰلِدُونَ
khaliduna
will abide forever
١٧
58:18
يَوۡمَ
yawma
(On the) Day
يَبۡعَثُهُمُ
yab'athuhumu
Allah will raise them
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah will raise them
جَمِيعٗا
jami'an
all
فَيَحۡلِفُونَ
fayahlifuna
then they will swear
لَهُۥ
lahu
to Him
كَمَا
kama
as
يَحۡلِفُونَ
yahlifuna
they swear
لَكُمۡ
lakum
to you
وَيَحۡسَبُونَ
wayahsabuna
And they think
أَنَّهُمۡ
annahum
that they
عَلَىٰ
ala
(are) on
شَيۡءٍۚ
shayin
something
أَلَآ
ala
No doubt
إِنَّهُمۡ
innahum
Indeed they
هُمُ
humu
[they]
ٱلۡكَٰذِبُونَ
al-kadhibuna
(are) the liars
١٨
58:19
ٱسۡتَحۡوَذَ
is'tahwadha
Has overcome
عَلَيۡهِمُ
alayhimu
them
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ
al-shaytanu
the Shaitaan
فَأَنسَىٰهُمۡ
fa-ansahum
so he made them forget
ذِكۡرَ
dhik'ra
(the) remembrance
ٱللَّهِۚ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
Those
حِزۡبُ
hiz'bu
(are the) party
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنِۚ
al-shaytani
(of) the Shaitaan
أَلَآ
ala
No doubt
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
حِزۡبَ
hiz'ba
(the) party
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنِ
al-shaytani
(of) the Shaitaan
هُمُ
humu
they
ٱلۡخَٰسِرُونَ
al-khasiruna
(will be) the losers
١٩
58:20
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
يُحَآدُّونَ
yuhadduna
oppose
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥٓ
warasulahu
and His Messenger
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
those
فِي
fi
(will be) among
ٱلۡأَذَلِّينَ
al-adhalina
the most humiliated
٢٠
58:21
كَتَبَ
kataba
Allah has decreed
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah has decreed
لَأَغۡلِبَنَّ
la-aghlibanna
Surely I will overcome
أَنَا۠
ana
I
وَرُسُلِيٓۚ
warusuli
and My Messengers
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
قَوِيٌّ
qawiyyun
(is) All-Strong
عَزِيزٞ
azizun
All-Mighty

لَّا
la
You will not find
تَجِدُ
tajidu
You will not find
قَوۡمٗا
qawman
a people
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yu'minuna
who believe
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
in Allah
وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ
wal-yawmi
and the Day
ٱلۡأٓخِرِ
al-akhiri
the Last
يُوَآدُّونَ
yuwadduna
loving
مَنۡ
man
(those) who
حَآدَّ
hadda
oppose
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥ
warasulahu
and His Messenger
وَلَوۡ
walaw
even if
كَانُوٓاْ
kanu
they were
ءَابَآءَهُمۡ
abaahum
their fathers
أَوۡ
aw
or
أَبۡنَآءَهُمۡ
abnaahum
their sons
أَوۡ
aw
or
إِخۡوَٰنَهُمۡ
ikh'wanahum
their brothers
أَوۡ
aw
or
عَشِيرَتَهُمۡۚ
ashiratahum
their kindred
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
Those
كَتَبَ
kataba
He has decreed
فِي
fi
within
قُلُوبِهِمُ
qulubihimu
their hearts
ٱلۡإِيمَٰنَ
al-imana
faith
وَأَيَّدَهُم
wa-ayyadahum
and supported them
بِرُوحٖ
biruhin
with a spirit
مِّنۡهُۖ
min'hu
from Him
وَيُدۡخِلُهُمۡ
wayud'khiluhum
And He will admit them
جَنَّٰتٖ
jannatin
(to) Gardens
تَجۡرِي
tajri
flow
مِن
min
from
تَحۡتِهَا
tahtiha
underneath it
ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ
al-anharu
the rivers
خَٰلِدِينَ
khalidina
will abide forever
فِيهَاۚ
fiha
in it
رَضِيَ
radiya
Allah is pleased
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah is pleased
عَنۡهُمۡ
anhum
with them
وَرَضُواْ
waradu
and they are pleased
عَنۡهُۚ
anhu
with Him
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
Those
حِزۡبُ
hiz'bu
(are the) party
ٱللَّهِۚ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
أَلَآ
ala
No doubt
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
حِزۡبَ
hiz'ba
(the) party
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
هُمُ
humu
they
ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ
al-muf'lihuna
(are) the successful ones
٢٢
59:1
سَبَّحَ
sabbaha
Glorifies
لِلَّهِ
lillahi
[to] Allah
مَا
ma
whatever
فِي
fi
(is) in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens

ٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ
al-ardi
the earth
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
And He
ٱلۡعَزِيزُ
al-'azizu
(is) the All-Mighty
ٱلۡحَكِيمُ
al-hakimu
the All-Wise

59:2
هُوَ
huwa
He
ٱلَّذِيٓ
alladhi
(is) the One Who
أَخۡرَجَ
akhraja
expelled
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieved
مِنۡ
min
from
أَهۡلِ
ahli
(the) People
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
al-kitabi
(of) the Scripture
مِن
min
from
دِيَٰرِهِمۡ
diyarihim
their homes
لِأَوَّلِ
li-awwali
at (the) first
ٱلۡحَشۡرِۚ
al-hashri
gathering
مَا
ma
Not
ظَنَنتُمۡ
zanantum
you think
أَن
an
that
يَخۡرُجُواْۖ
yakhruju
they would leave
وَظَنُّوٓاْ
wazannu
and they thought
أَنَّهُم
annahum
that [they]
مَّانِعَتُهُمۡ
mani'atuhum
would defend them
حُصُونُهُم
husunuhum
their fortresses
مِّنَ
mina
against
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
فَأَتَىٰهُمُ
fa-atahumu
But came to them
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
مِنۡ
min
from
حَيۡثُ
haythu
where
لَمۡ
lam
not
يَحۡتَسِبُواْۖ
yahtasibu
they expected
وَقَذَفَ
waqadhafa
and He cast
فِي
fi
into
قُلُوبِهِمُ
qulubihimu
their hearts
ٱلرُّعۡبَۚ
al-ru'ba
[the] terror
يُخۡرِبُونَ
yukh'ribuna
they destroyed
بُيُوتَهُم
buyutahum
their houses
بِأَيۡدِيهِمۡ
bi-aydihim
with their hands
وَأَيۡدِي
wa-aydi
and the hands
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
al-mu'minina
(of) the believers
فَٱعۡتَبِرُواْ
fa-i'tabiru
So take a lesson
يَٰٓأُوْلِي
yauli
O those endowed
ٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرِ
al-absari
(with) insight
٢
59:3
وَلَوۡلَآ
walawla
And if not
أَن
an
[that]
كَتَبَ
kataba
(had) decreed
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
عَلَيۡهِمُ
alayhimu
for them
ٱلۡجَلَآءَ
al-jalaa
the exile
لَعَذَّبَهُمۡ
la'adhabahum
certainly He (would) have punished them
فِي
fi
in
ٱلدُّنۡيَاۖ
al-dun'ya
the world
وَلَهُمۡ
walahum
and for them
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ
al-akhirati
the Hereafter
عَذَابُ
adhabu
(is) a punishment
ٱلنَّارِ
al-nari
(of) the Fire

ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
بِأَنَّهُمۡ
bi-annahum
(is) because [they]
شَآقُّواْ
shaqqu
they opposed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥۖ
warasulahu
and His Messenger
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يُشَآقِّ
yushaqqi
opposes
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
فَإِنَّ
fa-inna
then indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
شَدِيدُ
shadidu
(is) severe
ٱلۡعِقَابِ
al-'iqabi
(in) penalty
٤
59:5
مَا
ma
Whatever
قَطَعۡتُم
qata'tum
you cut down
مِّن
min
of
لِّينَةٍ
linatin
(the) palm-trees
أَوۡ
aw
or
تَرَكۡتُمُوهَا
taraktumuha
you left them
قَآئِمَةً
qaimatan
standing
عَلَىٰٓ
ala
on
أُصُولِهَا
usuliha
their roots
فَبِإِذۡنِ
fabi-idh'ni
it (was) by the permission
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
وَلِيُخۡزِيَ
waliyukh'ziya
and that He may disgrace
ٱلۡفَٰسِقِينَ
al-fasiqina
the defiantly disobedient
٥
59:6
وَمَآ
wama
And what
أَفَآءَ
afaa
(was) restored
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
(by) Allah
عَلَىٰ
ala
to
رَسُولِهِۦ
rasulihi
His Messenger
مِنۡهُمۡ
min'hum
from them
فَمَآ
fama
then not
أَوۡجَفۡتُمۡ
awjaftum
you made expedition
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
for it
مِنۡ
min
of
خَيۡلٖ
khaylin
horses
وَلَا
wala
and not
رِكَابٖ
rikabin
camels
وَلَٰكِنَّ
walakinna
but
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
يُسَلِّطُ
yusallitu
gives power
رُسُلَهُۥ
rusulahu
(to) His Messengers
عَلَىٰ
ala
over
مَن
man
whom
يَشَآءُۚ
yashau
He wills
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
عَلَىٰ
ala
(is) on
كُلِّ
kulli
every
شَيۡءٖ
shayin
thing
قَدِيرٞ
qadirun
All-Powerful
٦
59:7
مَّآ
ma
What
أَفَآءَ
afaa
(was) restored
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
(by) Allah
عَلَىٰ
ala
to
رَسُولِهِۦ
rasulihi
His Messenger
مِنۡ
min
from
أَهۡلِ
ahli
(the) people
ٱلۡقُرَىٰ
al-qura
(of) the towns
فَلِلَّهِ
falillahi
(it is) for Allah
وَلِلرَّسُولِ
walilrrasuli
and His Messenger
وَلِذِي
walidhi
and for those
ٱلۡقُرۡبَىٰ
al-qur'ba
(of) the kindred
وَٱلۡيَتَٰمَىٰ
wal-yatama
and the orphans
وَٱلۡمَسَٰكِينِ
wal-masakini
and the needy
وَٱبۡنِ
wa-ib'ni
and
ٱلسَّبِيلِ
al-sabili
the wayfarer
كَيۡ
kay
that
لَا
la
not
يَكُونَ
yakuna
it becomes
دُولَةَۢ
dulatan
a (perpetual) circulation
بَيۡنَ
bayna
between
ٱلۡأَغۡنِيَآءِ
al-aghniyai
the rich
مِنكُمۡۚ
minkum
among you
وَمَآ
wama
And whatever
ءَاتَىٰكُمُ
atakumu
gives you
ٱلرَّسُولُ
al-rasulu
the Messenger
فَخُذُوهُ
fakhudhuhu
take it
وَمَا
wama
and whatever
نَهَىٰكُمۡ
nahakum
he forbids you
عَنۡهُ
anhu
from it
فَٱنتَهُواْۚ
fa-intahu
refrain
وَٱتَّقُواْ
wa-ittaqu
And fear
ٱللَّهَۖ
al-laha
Allah
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
شَدِيدُ
shadidu
(is) severe
ٱلۡعِقَابِ
al-'iqabi
(in) penalty
٧
59:8
لِلۡفُقَرَآءِ
lil'fuqarai
For the poor
ٱلۡمُهَٰجِرِينَ
al-muhajirina
emigrants
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
أُخۡرِجُواْ
ukh'riju
were expelled
مِن
min
from
دِيَٰرِهِمۡ
diyarihim
their homes
وَأَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ
wa-amwalihim
and their properties
يَبۡتَغُونَ
yabtaghuna
seeking
فَضۡلٗا
fadlan
bounty
مِّنَ
mina
from
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
وَرِضۡوَٰنٗا
warid'wanan
and pleasure
وَيَنصُرُونَ
wayansuruna
and helping
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥٓۚ
warasulahu
and His Messenger
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
Those
هُمُ
humu
they
ٱلصَّٰدِقُونَ
al-sadiquna
(are) the truthful
٨
59:9
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
And those who
تَبَوَّءُو
tabawwau
settled
ٱلدَّارَ
al-dara
(in) the home
وَٱلۡإِيمَٰنَ
wal-imana
and (accepted) faith
مِن
min
from
قَبۡلِهِمۡ
qablihim
before them
يُحِبُّونَ
yuhibbuna
love
مَنۡ
man
(those) who
هَاجَرَ
hajara
emigrated
إِلَيۡهِمۡ
ilayhim
to them
وَلَا
wala
and not
يَجِدُونَ
yajiduna
they find
فِي
fi
in
صُدُورِهِمۡ
sudurihim
their breasts
حَاجَةٗ
hajatan
any want
مِّمَّآ
mimma
of what
أُوتُواْ
utu
they were given
وَيُؤۡثِرُونَ
wayu'thiruna
but prefer
عَلَىٰٓ
ala
over
أَنفُسِهِمۡ
anfusihim
themselves
وَلَوۡ
walaw
even though
كَانَ
kana
was
بِهِمۡ
bihim
with them
خَصَاصَةٞۚ
khasasatun
poverty
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يُوقَ
yuqa
is saved
شُحَّ
shuhha
(from) stinginess
نَفۡسِهِۦ
nafsihi
(of) his soul
فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
fa-ulaika
then those
هُمُ
humu
[they]
ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ
al-muf'lihuna
(are) the successful ones

وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
And those who
جَآءُو
jau
came
مِنۢ
min
from
بَعۡدِهِمۡ
ba'dihim
after them
يَقُولُونَ
yaquluna
they say
رَبَّنَا
rabbana
Our Lord
ٱغۡفِرۡ
igh'fir
forgive
لَنَا
lana
us
وَلِإِخۡوَٰنِنَا
wali-ikh'wanina
and our brothers
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
who
سَبَقُونَا
sabaquna
preceded us
بِٱلۡإِيمَٰنِ
bil-imani
in faith
وَلَا
wala
and (do) not
تَجۡعَلۡ
taj'al
put
فِي
fi
in
قُلُوبِنَا
qulubina
our hearts
غِلّٗا
ghillan
any rancor
لِّلَّذِينَ
lilladhina
towards those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believed
رَبَّنَآ
rabbana
Our Lord
إِنَّكَ
innaka
indeed You
رَءُوفٞ
raufun
(are) Full of Kindness
رَّحِيمٌ
rahimun
Most Merciful

59:11
۞أَلَمۡ
alam
Do not
تَرَ
tara
you see
إِلَى
ila
[to]
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
نَافَقُواْ
nafaqu
(were) hypocrites
يَقُولُونَ
yaquluna
saying
لِإِخۡوَٰنِهِمُ
li-ikh'wanihimu
to their brothers
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieved
مِنۡ
min
among
أَهۡلِ
ahli
the People
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
al-kitabi
(of) the Scripture
لَئِنۡ
la-in
If
أُخۡرِجۡتُمۡ
ukh'rij'tum
you are expelled
لَنَخۡرُجَنَّ
lanakhrujanna
surely we will leave
مَعَكُمۡ
ma'akum
with you
وَلَا
wala
and not
نُطِيعُ
nuti'u
we will obey
فِيكُمۡ
fikum
concerning you
أَحَدًا
ahadan
anyone
أَبَدٗا
abadan
ever
وَإِن
wa-in
and if
قُوتِلۡتُمۡ
qutil'tum
you are fought
لَنَنصُرَنَّكُمۡ
lanansurannakum
certainly we will help you
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
يَشۡهَدُ
yashhadu
bears witness
إِنَّهُمۡ
innahum
that they
لَكَٰذِبُونَ
lakadhibuna
(are) surely liars
١١
59:12
لَئِنۡ
la-in
If
أُخۡرِجُواْ
ukh'riju
they are expelled
لَا
la
not
يَخۡرُجُونَ
yakhrujuna
they will leave
مَعَهُمۡ
ma'ahum
with them
وَلَئِن
wala-in
and if
قُوتِلُواْ
qutilu
they are fought
لَا
la
not
يَنصُرُونَهُمۡ
yansurunahum
they will help them
وَلَئِن
wala-in
And if
نَّصَرُوهُمۡ
nasaruhum
they help them
لَيُوَلُّنَّ
layuwallunna
certainly they will turn
ٱلۡأَدۡبَٰرَ
al-adbara
(their) backs
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
لَا
la
not
يُنصَرُونَ
yunsaruna
they will be helped
١٢
59:13
لَأَنتُمۡ
la-antum
Certainly you
أَشَدُّ
ashaddu
(are) more intense
رَهۡبَةٗ
rahbatan
(in) fear
فِي
fi
in
صُدُورِهِم
sudurihim
their breasts
مِّنَ
mina
than
ٱللَّهِۚ
al-lahi
Allah
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
بِأَنَّهُمۡ
bi-annahum
(is) because they
قَوۡمٞ
qawmun
(are) a people
لَّا
la
(who do) not
يَفۡقَهُونَ
yafqahuna
understand
١٣
59:14
لَا
la
Not
يُقَٰتِلُونَكُمۡ
yuqatilunakum
will they fight you
جَمِيعًا
jami'an
all
إِلَّا
illa
except
فِي
fi
in
قُرٗى
quran
towns
مُّحَصَّنَةٍ
muhassanatin
fortified
أَوۡ
aw
or
مِن
min
from
وَرَآءِ
warai
behind
جُدُرِۭۚ
judurin
walls
بَأۡسُهُم
basuhum
Their violence
بَيۡنَهُمۡ
baynahum
among themselves
شَدِيدٞۚ
shadidun
(is) severe
تَحۡسَبُهُمۡ
tahsabuhum
You think they
جَمِيعٗا
jami'an
(are) united
وَقُلُوبُهُمۡ
waqulubuhum
but their hearts
شَتَّىٰۚ
shatta
(are) divided
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
بِأَنَّهُمۡ
bi-annahum
(is) because they
قَوۡمٞ
qawmun
(are) a people
لَّا
la
not
يَعۡقِلُونَ
ya'qiluna
they reason
١٤
59:15
كَمَثَلِ
kamathali
Like (the) example
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
(of) those
مِن
min
from
قَبۡلِهِمۡ
qablihim
before them
قَرِيبٗاۖ
qariban
shortly
ذَاقُواْ
dhaqu
they tasted
وَبَالَ
wabala
(the) evil result
أَمۡرِهِمۡ
amrihim
(of) their affair
وَلَهُمۡ
walahum
and for them
عَذَابٌ
adhabun
(is) a punishment
أَلِيمٞ
alimun
painful
١٥
59:16
كَمَثَلِ
kamathali
Like (the) example
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنِ
al-shaytani
(of) the Shaitaan
إِذۡ
idh
when
قَالَ
qala
he says
لِلۡإِنسَٰنِ
lil'insani
to man
ٱكۡفُرۡ
uk'fur
Disbelieve
فَلَمَّا
falamma
But when
كَفَرَ
kafara
he disbelieves
قَالَ
qala
he says
إِنِّي
inni
Indeed I am
بَرِيٓءٞ
barion
disassociated
مِّنكَ
minka
from you
إِنِّيٓ
inni
Indeed [I]
أَخَافُ
akhafu
I fear
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
رَبَّ
rabba
(the) Lord
ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
al-'alamina
(of) the worlds

فَكَانَ
fakana
So will be
عَٰقِبَتَهُمَآ
aqibatahuma
(the) end of both of them
أَنَّهُمَا
annahuma
that they
فِي
fi
(will be) in
ٱلنَّارِ
al-nari
the Fire
خَٰلِدَيۡنِ
khalidayni
abiding forever
فِيهَاۚ
fiha
therein
وَذَٰلِكَ
wadhalika
And that
جَزَٰٓؤُاْ
jazau
(is the) recompense
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
al-zalimina
(of) the wrongdoers
١٧
59:18
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
you (who)
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
ٱتَّقُواْ
ittaqu
Fear
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَلۡتَنظُرۡ
waltanzur
and let look
نَفۡسٞ
nafsun
every soul
مَّا
ma
what
قَدَّمَتۡ
qaddamat
it has sent forth
لِغَدٖۖ
lighadin
for tomorrow
وَٱتَّقُواْ
wa-ittaqu
and fear
ٱللَّهَۚ
al-laha
Allah
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
خَبِيرُۢ
khabirun
(is) All-Aware
بِمَا
bima
of what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
ta'maluna
you do
١٨
59:19
وَلَا
wala
And (do) not
تَكُونُواْ
takunu
be
كَٱلَّذِينَ
ka-alladhina
like those who
نَسُواْ
nasu
forgot
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
فَأَنسَىٰهُمۡ
fa-ansahum
so He made them forget
أَنفُسَهُمۡۚ
anfusahum
themselves
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
Those
هُمُ
humu
[they]
ٱلۡفَٰسِقُونَ
al-fasiquna
(are) the defiantly disobedient
١٩
59:20
لَا
la
Not
يَسۡتَوِيٓ
yastawi
equal
أَصۡحَٰبُ
ashabu
(are the) companions
ٱلنَّارِ
al-nari
(of) the Fire
وَأَصۡحَٰبُ
wa-ashabu
and (the) companions
ٱلۡجَنَّةِۚ
al-janati
(of) Paradise
أَصۡحَٰبُ
ashabu
(The) companions
ٱلۡجَنَّةِ
al-janati
(of) Paradise
هُمُ
humu
they
ٱلۡفَآئِزُونَ
al-faizuna
(are) the achievers
٢٠
59:21
لَوۡ
law
If
أَنزَلۡنَا
anzalna
We (had) sent down
هَٰذَا
hadha
this
ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ
al-qur'ana
Quran
عَلَىٰ
ala
on
جَبَلٖ
jabalin
a mountain
لَّرَأَيۡتَهُۥ
lara-aytahu
surely you (would) have seen it
خَٰشِعٗا
khashi'an
humbled
مُّتَصَدِّعٗا
mutasaddi'an
breaking asunder
مِّنۡ
min
from
خَشۡيَةِ
khashyati
(the) fear
ٱللَّهِۚ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
وَتِلۡكَ
watil'ka
And these
ٱلۡأَمۡثَٰلُ
al-amthalu
examples
نَضۡرِبُهَا
nadribuha
We present them
لِلنَّاسِ
lilnnasi
to the people
لَعَلَّهُمۡ
la'allahum
so that they may
يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
yatafakkaruna
give thought

59:22
هُوَ
huwa
He
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
(is) Allah
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
the One Who
لَآ
la
(there is) no
إِلَٰهَ
ilaha
god
إِلَّا
illa
but
هُوَۖ
huwa
He
عَٰلِمُ
alimu
(the) All-Knower
ٱلۡغَيۡبِ
al-ghaybi
(of) the unseen
وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِۖ
wal-shahadati
and the witnessed
هُوَ
huwa
He
ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ
al-rahmanu
(is) the Most Gracious
ٱلرَّحِيمُ
al-rahimu
the Most Merciful
٢٢
59:23
هُوَ
huwa
He
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
(is) Allah
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
the One Who
لَآ
la
(there is) no
إِلَٰهَ
ilaha
god
إِلَّا
illa
but
هُوَ
huwa
He
ٱلۡمَلِكُ
al-maliku
the Sovereign
ٱلۡقُدُّوسُ
al-qudusu
the Holy One
ٱلسَّلَٰمُ
al-salamu
the Giver of Peace
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُ
al-mu'minu
the Giver of Security
ٱلۡمُهَيۡمِنُ
al-muhayminu
the Guardian
ٱلۡعَزِيزُ
al-'azizu
the All-Mighty
ٱلۡجَبَّارُ
al-jabaru
the Irresistible
ٱلۡمُتَكَبِّرُۚ
al-mutakabiru
the Supreme
سُبۡحَٰنَ
sub'hana
Glory (be to)
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
عَمَّا
amma
from what
يُشۡرِكُونَ
yush'rikuna
they associate (with Him)
٢٣
59:24
هُوَ
huwa
He
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
(is) Allah
ٱلۡخَٰلِقُ
al-khaliqu
the Creator
ٱلۡبَارِئُ
al-bari-u
the Inventor
ٱلۡمُصَوِّرُۖ
al-musawiru
the Fashioner
لَهُ
lahu
For Him
ٱلۡأَسۡمَآءُ
al-asmau
(are) the names
ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰۚ
al-hus'na
the beautiful
يُسَبِّحُ
yusabbihu
Glorifies
لَهُۥ
lahu
Him
مَا
ma
whatever
فِي
fi
(is) in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ
wal-ardi
and the earth
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
And He
ٱلۡعَزِيزُ
al-'azizu
(is) the All-Mighty
ٱلۡحَكِيمُ
al-hakimu
the All-Wise

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O you
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
لَا
la
(Do) not
تَتَّخِذُواْ
tattakhidhu
take
عَدُوِّي
aduwwi
My enemies
وَعَدُوَّكُمۡ
wa'aduwwakum
and your enemies
أَوۡلِيَآءَ
awliyaa
(as) allies
تُلۡقُونَ
tul'quna
offering
إِلَيۡهِم
ilayhim
them
بِٱلۡمَوَدَّةِ
bil-mawadati
love
وَقَدۡ
waqad
while
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
they have disbelieved
بِمَا
bima
in what
جَآءَكُم
jaakum
came to you
مِّنَ
mina
of
ٱلۡحَقِّ
al-haqi
the truth
يُخۡرِجُونَ
yukh'rijuna
driving out
ٱلرَّسُولَ
al-rasula
the Messenger
وَإِيَّاكُمۡ
wa-iyyakum
and yourselves
أَن
an
because
تُؤۡمِنُواْ
tu'minu
you believe
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
in Allah
رَبِّكُمۡ
rabbikum
your Lord
إِن
in
If
كُنتُمۡ
kuntum
you
خَرَجۡتُمۡ
kharajtum
come forth
جِهَٰدٗا
jihadan
(to) strive
فِي
fi
in
سَبِيلِي
sabili
My way
وَٱبۡتِغَآءَ
wa-ib'tighaa
and (to) seek
مَرۡضَاتِيۚ
mardati
My Pleasure
تُسِرُّونَ
tusirruna
You confide
إِلَيۡهِم
ilayhim
to them
بِٱلۡمَوَدَّةِ
bil-mawadati
love
وَأَنَا۠
wa-ana

أَعۡلَمُ
a'lamu
most knowing
بِمَآ
bima
of what
أَخۡفَيۡتُمۡ
akhfaytum
you conceal
وَمَآ
wama
and what
أَعۡلَنتُمۡۚ
a'lantum
you declare
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يَفۡعَلۡهُ
yaf 'alhu
does it
مِنكُمۡ
minkum
among you
فَقَدۡ
faqad
then certainly
ضَلَّ
dalla
he has strayed
سَوَآءَ
sawaa
(from the) straight
ٱلسَّبِيلِ
al-sabili
path

60:2
إِن
in
If
يَثۡقَفُوكُمۡ
yathqafukum
they gain dominance over you
يَكُونُواْ
yakunu
they would be
لَكُمۡ
lakum
to you
أَعۡدَآءٗ
a'daan
enemies
وَيَبۡسُطُوٓاْ
wayabsutu
and extend
إِلَيۡكُمۡ
ilaykum
against you
أَيۡدِيَهُمۡ
aydiyahum
their hands
وَأَلۡسِنَتَهُم
wa-alsinatahum
and their tongues
بِٱلسُّوٓءِ
bil-sui
with evil
وَوَدُّواْ
wawaddu
and they desire
لَوۡ
law
that
تَكۡفُرُونَ
takfuruna
you would disbelieve
٢
60:3
لَن
lan
Never
تَنفَعَكُمۡ
tanfa'akum
will benefit you
أَرۡحَامُكُمۡ
arhamukum
your relatives
وَلَآ
wala
and not
أَوۡلَٰدُكُمۡۚ
awladukum
your children
يَوۡمَ
yawma
(on the) Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ
al-qiyamati
(of) the Resurrection
يَفۡصِلُ
yafsilu
He will judge
بَيۡنَكُمۡۚ
baynakum
between you
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
بِمَا
bima
of what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
ta'maluna
you do
بَصِيرٞ
basirun
(is) All-Seer
٣
60:4
قَدۡ
qad
Indeed
كَانَتۡ
kanat
(there) is
لَكُمۡ
lakum
for you
أُسۡوَةٌ
us'watun
an example
حَسَنَةٞ
hasanatun
good
فِيٓ
fi
in
إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
ib'rahima
Ibrahim
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
and those
مَعَهُۥٓ
ma'ahu
with him
إِذۡ
idh
when
قَالُواْ
qalu
they said
لِقَوۡمِهِمۡ
liqawmihim
to their people
إِنَّا
inna
Indeed we
بُرَءَٰٓؤُاْ
buraau
(are) disassociated
مِنكُمۡ
minkum
from you
وَمِمَّا
wamimma
and from what
تَعۡبُدُونَ
ta'buduna
you worship
مِن
min
from
دُونِ
duni
besides
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
كَفَرۡنَا
kafarna
We have denied
بِكُمۡ
bikum
you
وَبَدَا
wabada
and has appeared
بَيۡنَنَا
baynana
between us
وَبَيۡنَكُمُ
wabaynakumu
and between you
ٱلۡعَدَٰوَةُ
al-'adawatu
enmity
وَٱلۡبَغۡضَآءُ
wal-baghdau
and hatred
أَبَدًا
abadan
forever
حَتَّىٰ
hatta
until
تُؤۡمِنُواْ
tu'minu
you believe
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
in Allah
وَحۡدَهُۥٓ
wahdahu
Alone
إِلَّا
illa
Except
قَوۡلَ
qawla
(the) saying
إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
ib'rahima
(of) Ibrahim
لِأَبِيهِ
li-abihi
to his father
لَأَسۡتَغۡفِرَنَّ
la-astaghfiranna
Surely I ask forgiveness
لَكَ
laka
for you
وَمَآ
wama
but not
أَمۡلِكُ
amliku
I have power
لَكَ
laka
for you
مِنَ
mina
from
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
مِن
min
of
شَيۡءٖۖ
shayin
anything
رَّبَّنَا
rabbana
Our Lord
عَلَيۡكَ
alayka
upon You
تَوَكَّلۡنَا
tawakkalna
we put our trust
وَإِلَيۡكَ
wa-ilayka
and to You
أَنَبۡنَا
anabna
we turn
وَإِلَيۡكَ
wa-ilayka
and to You
ٱلۡمَصِيرُ
al-masiru
(is) the final return
٤
