۞إِلَيۡهِ
ʹIlayhi
To Him
يُرَدُّ
yuraddu
is referred
عِلۡمُ
ʻilmus
(the) knowledge
ٱلسَّاعَةِۚ
Saaʻah:
(of) the Hour
وَمَا
wa-maa
And not
تَخۡرُجُ
takhruju
comes out
مِن
miñ
any
ثَمَرَٰتٖ
s̤amaraatim
fruits
مِّنۡ
min
from
أَكۡمَامِهَا
ʹakmaamihaa
their coverings
وَمَا
wa-maa
and not
تَحۡمِلُ
taḥmilu
bears
مِنۡ
min
any
أُنثَىٰ
ʹuñs̤aa
female
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
تَضَعُ
taḍaʻu
gives birth
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
بِعِلۡمِهِۦۚ
biʻilmih.
with His knowledge
وَيَوۡمَ
Wa-Yawma
And (the) Day
يُنَادِيهِمۡ
yunaadeehim
He will call them
أَيۡنَ
ʹayna
Where (are)
شُرَكَآءِي
shurakaaaʹee
My partners
قَالُوٓاْ
q̣aalooo
They will say
ءَاذَنَّٰكَ
ʹaaẓannaaka
We announce (to) You
مَا
maa-
not
مِنَّا
minnaa
among us
مِن
miñ
any
شَهِيدٖ
shaheed!
witness
٤٧
41:48
وَضَلَّ
Wa-ḍalla
And lost
عَنۡهُم
ʻanhum
from them
مَّا
maa
what
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they were
يَدۡعُونَ
yadʻoona
invoking
مِن
miñ
before
قَبۡلُۖ
q̣ablu
before
وَظَنُّواْ
waz̤̣annoo
and they (will) be certain
مَا
maa-
(that) not
لَهُم
lahum
for them
مِّن
mim
any
مَّحِيصٖ
maḥeeṣ.
place of escape
٤٨
41:49
لَّا
Laa-
(Does) not
يَسۡـَٔمُ
yasʹamul
get tired
ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ
ʹiñsaanu
man
مِن
miñ
of
دُعَآءِ
duʻaaaʹil
praying
ٱلۡخَيۡرِ
khayri
(for) the good
وَإِن
wa-ʹim
but if
مَّسَّهُ
massa
touches him
ٱلشَّرُّ
hushsharru
the evil
فَيَـُٔوسٞ
fayaʹoosuñ
then he gives up hope
قَنُوطٞ
q̣anooṭ.
(and) despairs
٤٩
41:50
وَلَئِنۡ
Wa-laʹin
And verily if
أَذَقۡنَٰهُ
ʹaẓaq̣naahu
We let him taste
رَحۡمَةٗ
Raḥmatam
mercy
مِّنَّا
minnaa
from Us
مِنۢ
mim
after
بَعۡدِ
baʻdi
after
ضَرَّآءَ
ḍar-raaaʹa
an adversity
مَسَّتۡهُ
massathu
(has) touched him
لَيَقُولَنَّ
layaq̣oolanna
he will surely say
هَٰذَا
haaẓaa
This (is)
لِي
lee
(due) to me
وَمَآ
wa-maaa
and not
أَظُنُّ
ʹaz̤̣unnus
I think
ٱلسَّاعَةَ
Saaʻata
the Hour
قَآئِمَةٗ
q̣aaaʹimatañw
(will be) established
وَلَئِن
walaʹir
and if
رُّجِعۡتُ
rujiʻtu
I am returned
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
رَبِّيٓ
Rabbeee
my Lord
إِنَّ
ʹinna
indeed
لِي
lee
for me
عِندَهُۥ
ʻiñdahoo
with Him
لَلۡحُسۡنَىٰۚ
lalḥusnaa!
(will be) the best
فَلَنُنَبِّئَنَّ
Falanunabbiʹannal
But We will surely inform
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieved
بِمَا
bimaa
about what
عَمِلُواْ
ʻamiloo,
they did
وَلَنُذِيقَنَّهُم
wa-lanuẓeeq̣an-nahum
and We will surely make them taste
مِّنۡ
min
of
عَذَابٍ
ʻAẓaabin
a punishment
غَلِيظٖ
g̣aleez̤̣.
severe
٥٠
41:51
وَإِذَآ
Wa-ʹiẓaaa
And when
أَنۡعَمۡنَا
ʹanʻamnaa
We bestow favor
عَلَى
ʻalal
upon
ٱلۡإِنسَٰنِ
ʹiñsaani
man
أَعۡرَضَ
ʹaʻraḍa
he turns away
وَنَـَٔا
wa-naʹaa
and distances himself
بِجَانِبِهِۦ
bijaanibih;
and distances himself
وَإِذَا
wa-ʹiẓaa
but when
مَسَّهُ
massahush
touches him
ٱلشَّرُّ
sharru
the evil
فَذُو
faẓoo
then (he is) full
دُعَآءٍ
duʻaaaʹin
(of) supplication
عَرِيضٖ
ʻareeḍ!
lengthy
٥١
41:52
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
أَرَءَيۡتُمۡ
ʹaraʹaytum
You see
إِن
ʹiñ
if
كَانَ
kaana
it is
مِنۡ
min
from
عِندِ
ʻiñdil
from
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
كَفَرۡتُم
kafartum̃
you disbelieve
بِهِۦ
bihee
in it
مَنۡ
man
who
أَضَلُّ
ʹaḍallu
(is) more astray
مِمَّنۡ
mimman
than (one) who
هُوَ
huwa
he
فِي
fee
(is) in
شِقَاقِۭ
shiq̣aaq̣im
opposition
بَعِيدٖ
baʻeed?
far
٥٢
41:53
سَنُرِيهِمۡ
Sanureehim
Soon We will show them
ءَايَٰتِنَا
ʹAayaatinaa
Our Signs
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأٓفَاقِ
ʹaafaaq̣i
the horizons
وَفِيٓ
wa-feee
and in
أَنفُسِهِمۡ
ʹañfusihim
themselves
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattaa
until
يَتَبَيَّنَ
yatabayyana
becomes clear
لَهُمۡ
lahum
to them
أَنَّهُ
ʹannahul
that it
ٱلۡحَقُّۗ
Ḥaq̣q̣.
(is) the truth
أَوَلَمۡ
ʹA-walam
Is (it) not
يَكۡفِ
yakfi
sufficient
بِرَبِّكَ
bi-Rabbika
concerning your Lord
أَنَّهُۥ
ʹannahoo
that He
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
(is) over
كُلِّ
kulli
all
شَيۡءٖ
shayʹiñ
things
شَهِيدٌ
shaheed?
a Witness
٥٣
41:54
أَلَآ
ʹAlaaa
Unquestionably
إِنَّهُمۡ
ʹinnahum
they
فِي
fee
(are) in
مِرۡيَةٖ
miryatim
doubt
مِّن
mil
about
لِّقَآءِ
Liq̣aaaʹi
(the) meeting
رَبِّهِمۡۗ
Rabbihim?
(with) their Lord
أَلَآ
ʹAlaaa
Unquestionably
إِنَّهُۥ
ʹinnahoo
indeed He
بِكُلِّ
bikulli
(is) of all
شَيۡءٖ
shayʹim
things
مُّحِيطُۢ
Muḥeeṭ.
encompassing

Ḥaa-Meeem;
Ha Meem

42:2
عٓسٓقٓ
ʻAyyyn-Seeen-Q̣aaaf.
Ayn Seen Qaaf

42:3
كَذَٰلِكَ
Kaẓaalika
Thus
يُوحِيٓ
yooḥeee
reveals
إِلَيۡكَ
ʹilayka
to you
وَإِلَى
wa-ʹilal
and to
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those
مِن
miñ
before you
قَبۡلِكَ
q̣ablikal
before you
ٱللَّهُ
laahul
Allah
ٱلۡعَزِيزُ
ʻAzeezul
the All-Mighty
ٱلۡحَكِيمُ
Ḥakeem.
the All-Wise
٣
42:4
لَهُۥ
Lahoo
To Him
مَا
maa-
(belong) whatever
فِي
fis
(is) in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaati
the heavens
وَمَا
wa-maa
and whatever
فِي
fil
(is) in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ
ʹarḍ:
the earth
وَهُوَ
wa-Huwal
and He
ٱلۡعَلِيُّ
ʻAliyyul
(is) the Most High
ٱلۡعَظِيمُ
ʻAz̤̣eem.
the Most Great
٤
42:5
تَكَادُ
Takaadus
Almost
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ
samaawaatu
the heavens
يَتَفَطَّرۡنَ
yatafaṭṭarna
break up
مِن
miñ
from
فَوۡقِهِنَّۚ
fawq̣ihinna
above them
وَٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ
walmalaaaʹikatu
and the Angels
يُسَبِّحُونَ
yusabbiḥoona
glorify
بِحَمۡدِ
bi-Ḥamdi
(the) praise
رَبِّهِمۡ
Rabbihim
(of) their Lord
وَيَسۡتَغۡفِرُونَ
wa-yastag̣firoona
and ask for forgiveness
لِمَن
limañ
for those
فِي
fil
on
ٱلۡأَرۡضِۗ
ʹarḍ:
the earth
أَلَآ
ʹalaaa
Unquestionably
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
هُوَ
Huwal
He
ٱلۡغَفُورُ
G̣afoorur
(is) the Oft-Forgiving
ٱلرَّحِيمُ
Raḥeem.
the Most Merciful
٥
42:6
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeenat
And those who
ٱتَّخَذُواْ
takhaẓoo
take
مِن
miñ
besides
دُونِهِۦٓ
dooniheee
besides
أَوۡلِيَآءَ
ʹawliyaaaʹal
protectors
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
حَفِيظٌ
ḥafeez̤̣un
(is) a Guardian
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
ʻalayhim
over them
وَمَآ
wa-maaa
and not
أَنتَ
ʹañta
you
عَلَيۡهِم
ʻalayhim̃
(are) over them
بِوَكِيلٖ
biwakeel.
a manager
٦
42:7
وَكَذَٰلِكَ
Wa-kaẓaalika
And thus
أَوۡحَيۡنَآ
ʹawḥaynaaa
We have revealed
إِلَيۡكَ
ʹilayka
to you
قُرۡءَانًا
Q̣ur-ʹaanan
a Quran
عَرَبِيّٗا
ʻArabiyyal
(in) Arabic
لِّتُنذِرَ
lituñẓira
that you may warn
أُمَّ
ʹUmmal
(the) mother
ٱلۡقُرَىٰ
Q̣uraa
(of) the towns
وَمَنۡ
wa-man
and whoever
حَوۡلَهَا
ḥawlahaa
(is) around it
وَتُنذِرَ
wa-tuñẓira
and warn
يَوۡمَ
Yawmal
(of the) Day
ٱلۡجَمۡعِ
Jamʻi
(of) Assembly
لَا
laa-
(there is) no
رَيۡبَ
rayba
doubt
فِيهِۚ
feeh:
in it
فَرِيقٞ
fareeq̣uñ
A party
فِي
fil
(will be) in
ٱلۡجَنَّةِ
Jannati
Paradise
وَفَرِيقٞ
wa-fareeq̣uñ
and a party
فِي
fis
in
ٱلسَّعِيرِ
Saʻeer.
the Blazing Fire
٧
42:8
وَلَوۡ
Wa-law
And if
شَآءَ
shaaaʹal
Allah willed
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah willed
لَجَعَلَهُمۡ
lajaʻalahum
He could have made them
أُمَّةٗ
ʹUmmatañw
a community
وَٰحِدَةٗ
Waaḥidatañw
one
وَلَٰكِن
walaakiñy
but
يُدۡخِلُ
yudkhilu
He admits
مَن
mañy
whom
يَشَآءُ
yashaaaʹu
He wills
فِي
fee
in (to)
رَحۡمَتِهِۦۚ
Raḥmatih;
His Mercy
وَٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ
waz̤̣z̤̣aalimoona
And the wrongdoers
مَا
maa-
not
لَهُم
lahum
for them
مِّن
miñw
any
وَلِيّٖ
waliyyiñw
protector
وَلَا
walaa
and not
نَصِيرٍ
naṣeer.
any helper
٨
42:9
أَمِ
ʹAmit
Or
ٱتَّخَذُواْ
takhaẓoo
have they taken
مِن
miñ
besides Him
دُونِهِۦٓ
dooniheee
besides Him
أَوۡلِيَآءَۖ
ʹawliyaaaʹ?
protectors
فَٱللَّهُ
Fallaahu
But Allah
هُوَ
Huwal
He
ٱلۡوَلِيُّ
Waliyyu
(is) the Protector
وَهُوَ
wa-Huwa
and He
يُحۡيِ
yuḥyil
gives life
ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰ
mawtaa,
(to) the dead
وَهُوَ
wa-Huwa
And He
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
(is) on
كُلِّ
kulli
every
شَيۡءٖ
shayʹiñ
thing
قَدِيرٞ
Q̣adeer.
All-Powerful
٩
42:10
وَمَا
Wa-makh
And whatever
ٱخۡتَلَفۡتُمۡ
talaftum
you differ
فِيهِ
feehi
in it
مِن
miñ
of
شَيۡءٖ
shayʹiñ
a thing
فَحُكۡمُهُۥٓ
faḥukmuhooo
then its ruling
إِلَى
ʹilal
(is) to
ٱللَّهِۚ
laah:
Allah
ذَٰلِكُمُ
ẓaalikumul
That
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
(is) Allah
رَبِّي
Rabbee
my Lord
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhi
upon Him
تَوَكَّلۡتُ
tawakkaltu
I put my trust
وَإِلَيۡهِ
wa-ʹilayhi
and to Him
أُنِيبُ
ʹuneeb.
I turn

فَاطِرُ
Faaṭirus
(The) Creator
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaati
(of) the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ
wal-ʹarḍ!
and the earth
جَعَلَ
Jaʻala
He made
لَكُم
lakum
for you
مِّنۡ
min
from
أَنفُسِكُمۡ
ʹañfusikum
yourselves
أَزۡوَٰجٗا
ʹazwaajañw
mates
وَمِنَ
Waminal
and among
ٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِ
ʹanʻaami
the cattle
أَزۡوَٰجٗا
ʹazwaajaa:
mates
يَذۡرَؤُكُمۡ
yaẓraʹukum
He multiplies you
فِيهِۚ
feeh:
thereby
لَيۡسَ
Laysa
(There) is not
كَمِثۡلِهِۦ
kamis̤lihee
like Him
شَيۡءٞۖ
shayʹ;
anything
وَهُوَ
wa-Huwas
and He
ٱلسَّمِيعُ
sameeʻul
(is) the All-Hearer
ٱلۡبَصِيرُ
Baṣeer.
the All-Seer
١١
42:12
لَهُۥ
Lahoo
To Him (belongs)
مَقَالِيدُ
maq̣aaleedus
(the) keys
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaati
(of) the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ
wal-ʹarḍ;
and the earth
يَبۡسُطُ
Yabsuṭur
He extends
ٱلرِّزۡقَ
Rizq̣a
the provision
لِمَن
limañy
for whom
يَشَآءُ
yashaaaʹu
He wills
وَيَقۡدِرُۚ
wa-yaq̣dir:
and restricts
إِنَّهُۥ
ʹinnahoo
Indeed He
بِكُلِّ
bikulli
of every
شَيۡءٍ
shayʹin
thing
عَلِيمٞ
ʻAleem.
(is) All-Knower
١٢
42:13
۞شَرَعَ
Sharaʻa
He has ordained
لَكُم
lakum
for you
مِّنَ
minad
of
ٱلدِّينِ
Deeni
the religion
مَا
maa-
what
وَصَّىٰ
waṣṣaa
He enjoined
بِهِۦ
bihee
upon
نُوحٗا
Nooḥañw
Nuh
وَٱلَّذِيٓ
wallaẓeee
and that which
أَوۡحَيۡنَآ
ʹawḥaynaaa
We have revealed
إِلَيۡكَ
ʹilayka
to you
وَمَا
wa-maa
and what
وَصَّيۡنَا
waṣṣaynaa
We enjoined
بِهِۦٓ
biheee
upon
إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
ʹIbraaheema
Ibrahim
وَمُوسَىٰ
wa-Moosaa
and Musa
وَعِيسَىٰٓۖ
wa-ʻEesaaa
and Isa
أَنۡ
ʹan
To
أَقِيمُواْ
ʹaq̣eemud
establish
ٱلدِّينَ
Deena
the religion
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
تَتَفَرَّقُواْ
tatafarraq̣oo
be divided
فِيهِۚ
feeh:
therein
كَبُرَ
kabura
Is difficult
عَلَى
ʻalal
on
ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ
mushrikeena
the polytheists
مَا
maa-
what
تَدۡعُوهُمۡ
tadʻoohum
you call them
إِلَيۡهِۚ
ʹilayh.
to it
ٱللَّهُ
ʹAllaahu
Allah
يَجۡتَبِيٓ
yajtabeee
chooses
إِلَيۡهِ
ʹilayhi
for Himself
مَن
mañy
whom
يَشَآءُ
yashaaaʹu
He wills
وَيَهۡدِيٓ
wa-yahdeee
and guides
إِلَيۡهِ
ʹilayhi
to Himself
مَن
mañy
whoever
يُنِيبُ
yuneeb.
turns
١٣
42:14
وَمَا
Wa-maa
And not
تَفَرَّقُوٓاْ
tafarraq̣ooo
they became divided
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
until
مِنۢ
mim
after
بَعۡدِ
baʻdi
after
مَا
maa-
[what]
جَآءَهُمُ
jaaaʹahumul
came to them
ٱلۡعِلۡمُ
ʻilmu
the knowledge
بَغۡيَۢا
bag̣yam
(out of) rivalry
بَيۡنَهُمۡۚ
baynahum.
among them
وَلَوۡلَا
Wa-lawlaa
And if not
كَلِمَةٞ
Kalimatuñ
(for) a word
سَبَقَتۡ
sabaq̣at
(that) preceded
مِن
mir
from
رَّبِّكَ
Rabbika
your Lord
إِلَىٰٓ
ʹilaaa
for
أَجَلٖ
ʹajalim
a term
مُّسَمّٗى
musammal
specified
لَّقُضِيَ
liq̣uḍiya
surely it (would have) been settled
بَيۡنَهُمۡۚ
baynahum:
between them
وَإِنَّ
wa-ʹinnal
And indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
أُورِثُواْ
ʹooris̤ul
were made to inherit
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
Kitaaba
the Book
مِنۢ
mim
after them
بَعۡدِهِمۡ
baʻdihim
after them
لَفِي
lafee
(are) surely in
شَكّٖ
shakkim
doubt
مِّنۡهُ
minhu
concerning it
مُرِيبٖ
mureeb.
disquieting
١٤
42:15
فَلِذَٰلِكَ
Faliẓaalika
So to that
فَٱدۡعُۖ
fadʻu
then invite
وَٱسۡتَقِمۡ
wastaq̣im
and stand firm
كَمَآ
kamaaa
as
أُمِرۡتَۖ
ʹumirt.
you are commanded
وَلَا
Wa-laa
and (do) not
تَتَّبِعۡ
tattabiʻ
follow
أَهۡوَآءَهُمۡۖ
ʹahwaaaʹahum;
their desires
وَقُلۡ
wa-q̣ul
but say
ءَامَنتُ
ʹaamañtu
I believe
بِمَآ
bimaaa
in what
أَنزَلَ
ʹañzala
Allah has sent down
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah has sent down
مِن
miñ
of
كِتَٰبٖۖ
Kitaab;
(the) Book
وَأُمِرۡتُ
wa-ʹumirtu
and I am commanded
لِأَعۡدِلَ
liʹaʻdila
that I do justice
بَيۡنَكُمُۖ
baynakum.
between you
ٱللَّهُ
ʹAllaahu
Allah
رَبُّنَا
Rabbunaa
(is) our Lord
وَرَبُّكُمۡۖ
wa-Rabbukum.
and your Lord
لَنَآ
Lanaaa
For us
أَعۡمَٰلُنَا
ʹaʻmaalunaa
our deeds
وَلَكُمۡ
wa-lakum
and for you
أَعۡمَٰلُكُمۡۖ
ʹaʻmaalukum.
your deeds
لَا
Laa-
(There is) no
حُجَّةَ
ḥujjata
argument
بَيۡنَنَا
baynanaa
between us
وَبَيۡنَكُمُۖ
wa-baynakum.
and between you
ٱللَّهُ
ʹAllaahu
Allah
يَجۡمَعُ
yajmaʻu
will assemble
بَيۡنَنَاۖ
baynanaa,
[between] us
وَإِلَيۡهِ
wa-ʹilayhil
and to Him
ٱلۡمَصِيرُ
maṣeer.
(is) the final return

وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeena
And those who
يُحَآجُّونَ
yuḥaaajjoona
argue
فِي
fil
concerning
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
مِنۢ
mim
after
بَعۡدِ
baʻdi
after
مَا
mas
[what]
ٱسۡتُجِيبَ
tujeeba
response has been made to Him
لَهُۥ
lahoo
response has been made to Him
حُجَّتُهُمۡ
ḥujjatuhum
their argument
دَاحِضَةٌ
daaḥiḍatun
(is) invalid
عِندَ
ʻiñda
with
رَبِّهِمۡ
Rabbihim
their Lord
وَعَلَيۡهِمۡ
wa-ʻalayhim
and upon them
غَضَبٞ
g̣aḍabuñw
(is) wrath
وَلَهُمۡ
walahum
and for them
عَذَابٞ
ʻAẓaabuñ
(is) a punishment
شَدِيدٌ
shadeed.
severe
١٦
42:17
ٱللَّهُ
ʹAllaahul
Allah
ٱلَّذِيٓ
laẓeee
(is) the One Who
أَنزَلَ
ʹañzalal
(has) sent down
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
Kitaaba
the Book
بِٱلۡحَقِّ
bilḥaq̣q̣i
in truth
وَٱلۡمِيزَانَۗ
wal-Meezaan.
and the Balance
وَمَا
Wa-maa
And what
يُدۡرِيكَ
yudreeka
will make you know
لَعَلَّ
laʻallas
Perhaps
ٱلسَّاعَةَ
Saaʻata
the Hour
قَرِيبٞ
q̣areeb?
(is) near
