۞فَمَنۡ
faman
Then who
أَظۡلَمُ
azlamu
(is) more unjust
مِمَّن
mimman
than (one) who
كَذَبَ
kadhaba
lies
عَلَى
ala
against
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
وَكَذَّبَ
wakadhaba
and denies
بِٱلصِّدۡقِ
bil-sid'qi
the truth
إِذۡ
idh
when
جَآءَهُۥٓۚ
jaahu
it comes to him
أَلَيۡسَ
alaysa
Is (there) not
فِي
fi
in
جَهَنَّمَ
jahannama
Hell
مَثۡوٗى
mathwan
an abode
لِّلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
lil'kafirina
for the disbelievers
٣٢
39:33
وَٱلَّذِي
wa-alladhi
And the one who
جَآءَ
jaa
brought
بِٱلصِّدۡقِ
bil-sid'qi
the truth
وَصَدَّقَ
wasaddaqa
and believed
بِهِۦٓ
bihi
in it
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
those
هُمُ
humu
[they]
ٱلۡمُتَّقُونَ
al-mutaquna
(are) the righteous
٣٣
39:34
لَهُم
lahum
For them
مَّا
ma
(is) what
يَشَآءُونَ
yashauna
they wish
عِندَ
inda
with
رَبِّهِمۡۚ
rabbihim
their Lord
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
جَزَآءُ
jazau
(is the) reward
ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
al-muh'sinina
(of) the good-doers
٣٤
39:35
لِيُكَفِّرَ
liyukaffira
That Allah will remove
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
That Allah will remove
عَنۡهُمۡ
anhum
from them
أَسۡوَأَ
aswa-a
(the) worst
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
(of) what
عَمِلُواْ
amilu
they did
وَيَجۡزِيَهُمۡ
wayajziyahum
and reward them
أَجۡرَهُم
ajrahum
their due
بِأَحۡسَنِ
bi-ahsani
for (the) best
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
(of) what
كَانُواْ
kanu
they used to
يَعۡمَلُونَ
ya'maluna
do
٣٥
39:36
أَلَيۡسَ
alaysa
Is not
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
بِكَافٍ
bikafin
sufficient
عَبۡدَهُۥۖ
abdahu
(for) His slave
وَيُخَوِّفُونَكَ
wayukhawwifunaka
And they threaten you
بِٱلَّذِينَ
bi-alladhina
with those
مِن
min
besides Him
دُونِهِۦۚ
dunihi
besides Him
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يُضۡلِلِ
yud'lili
Allah lets go astray
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah lets go astray
فَمَا
fama
then not
لَهُۥ
lahu
for him
مِنۡ
min
any
هَادٖ
hadin
guide
٣٦
39:37
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يَهۡدِ
yahdi
Allah guides
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah guides
فَمَا
fama
then not
لَهُۥ
lahu
for him
مِن
min
any
مُّضِلٍّۗ
mudillin
misleader
أَلَيۡسَ
alaysa
Is not
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
بِعَزِيزٖ
bi'azizin
All-Mighty
ذِي
dhi
All-Able of retribution
ٱنتِقَامٖ
intiqamin
All-Able of retribution
٣٧
39:38
وَلَئِن
wala-in
And if
سَأَلۡتَهُم
sa-altahum
you ask them
مَّنۡ
man
who
خَلَقَ
khalaqa
created
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ
wal-arda
and the earth
لَيَقُولُنَّ
layaqulunna
Surely they will say
ٱللَّهُۚ
al-lahu
Allah
قُلۡ
qul
Say
أَفَرَءَيۡتُم
afara-aytum
Then do you see
مَّا
ma
what
تَدۡعُونَ
tad'una
you invoke
مِن
min
besides
دُونِ
duni
besides
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
إِنۡ
in
if
أَرَادَنِيَ
aradaniya
Allah intended for me
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah intended for me
بِضُرٍّ
bidurrin
harm
هَلۡ
hal
are
هُنَّ
hunna
they
كَٰشِفَٰتُ
kashifatu
removers
ضُرِّهِۦٓ
durrihi
(of) harm (from) Him
أَوۡ
aw
or
أَرَادَنِي
aradani
if He intended for me
بِرَحۡمَةٍ
birahmatin
mercy
هَلۡ
hal
are
هُنَّ
hunna
they
مُمۡسِكَٰتُ
mum'sikatu
withholders
رَحۡمَتِهِۦۚ
rahmatihi
(of) His mercy
قُلۡ
qul
Say
حَسۡبِيَ
hasbiya
Sufficient (is) Allah for me
ٱللَّهُۖ
al-lahu
Sufficient (is) Allah for me
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
upon Him
يَتَوَكَّلُ
yatawakkalu
put trust
ٱلۡمُتَوَكِّلُونَ
al-mutawakiluna
those who trust
٣٨
39:39
قُلۡ
qul
Say
يَٰقَوۡمِ
yaqawmi
O my people
ٱعۡمَلُواْ
i'malu
Work
عَلَىٰ
ala
(according) to
مَكَانَتِكُمۡ
makanatikum
your position
إِنِّي
inni
indeed I am
عَٰمِلٞۖ
amilun
working
فَسَوۡفَ
fasawfa
then soon
تَعۡلَمُونَ
ta'lamuna
you will know
٣٩
39:40
مَن
man
(Upon) whom
يَأۡتِيهِ
yatihi
will come
عَذَابٞ
adhabun
a punishment
يُخۡزِيهِ
yukh'zihi
disgracing him
وَيَحِلُّ
wayahillu
and descends
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
on him
عَذَابٞ
adhabun
a punishment
مُّقِيمٌ
muqimun
everlasting

إِنَّآ
inna
Indeed We
أَنزَلۡنَا
anzalna
We revealed
عَلَيۡكَ
alayka
to you
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
al-kitaba
the Book
لِلنَّاسِ
lilnnasi
for [the] mankind
بِٱلۡحَقِّۖ
bil-haqi
in truth
فَمَنِ
famani
So whoever
ٱهۡتَدَىٰ
ih'tada
accepts guidance
فَلِنَفۡسِهِۦۖ
falinafsihi
then (it is) for his soul
وَمَن
waman
and whoever
ضَلَّ
dalla
goes astray
فَإِنَّمَا
fa-innama
then only
يَضِلُّ
yadillu
he strays
عَلَيۡهَاۖ
alayha
against his (soul)
وَمَآ
wama
And not
أَنتَ
anta
you
عَلَيۡهِم
alayhim
(are) over them
بِوَكِيلٍ
biwakilin
a manager
٤١
39:42
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
يَتَوَفَّى
yatawaffa
takes
ٱلۡأَنفُسَ
al-anfusa
the souls
حِينَ
hina
(at the) time
مَوۡتِهَا
mawtiha
(of) their death
وَٱلَّتِي
wa-allati
and the one who
لَمۡ
lam
(does) not
تَمُتۡ
tamut
die
فِي
fi
in
مَنَامِهَاۖ
manamiha
their sleep
فَيُمۡسِكُ
fayum'siku
Then He keeps
ٱلَّتِي
allati
the one whom
قَضَىٰ
qada
He has decreed
عَلَيۡهَا
alayha
for them
ٱلۡمَوۡتَ
al-mawta
the death
وَيُرۡسِلُ
wayur'silu
and sends
ٱلۡأُخۡرَىٰٓ
al-ukh'ra
the others
إِلَىٰٓ
ila
for
أَجَلٖ
ajalin
a term
مُّسَمًّىۚ
musamman
specified
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
فِي
fi
in
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
that
لَأٓيَٰتٖ
laayatin
surely (are) signs
لِّقَوۡمٖ
liqawmin
for a people
يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
yatafakkaruna
who ponder
٤٢
39:43
أَمِ
ami
Or
ٱتَّخَذُواْ
ittakhadhu
have they taken
مِن
min
besides
دُونِ
duni
besides
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
شُفَعَآءَۚ
shufa'aa
intercessors
قُلۡ
qul
Say
أَوَلَوۡ
awalaw
Even though
كَانُواْ
kanu
they were
لَا
la
not
يَمۡلِكُونَ
yamlikuna
possessing
شَيۡـٔٗا
shayan
anything
وَلَا
wala
and not
يَعۡقِلُونَ
ya'qiluna
they understand
٤٣
39:44
قُل
qul
Say
لِّلَّهِ
lillahi
To Allah (belongs)
ٱلشَّفَٰعَةُ
al-shafa'atu
the intercession
جَمِيعٗاۖ
jami'an
all
لَّهُۥ
lahu
For Him
مُلۡكُ
mul'ku
(is the) dominion
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
(of) the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ
wal-ardi
and the earth
ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
إِلَيۡهِ
ilayhi
to Him
تُرۡجَعُونَ
tur'ja'una
you will be returned
٤٤
39:45
وَإِذَا
wa-idha
And when
ذُكِرَ
dhukira
Allah is mentioned
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah is mentioned
وَحۡدَهُ
wahdahu
Alone
ٱشۡمَأَزَّتۡ
ish'ma-azzat
shrink with aversion
قُلُوبُ
qulubu
(the) hearts
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
(of) those who
لَا
la
(do) not
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yu'minuna
believe
بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۖ
bil-akhirati
in the Hereafter
وَإِذَا
wa-idha
and when
ذُكِرَ
dhukira
are mentioned
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those
مِن
min
besides Him
دُونِهِۦٓ
dunihi
besides Him
إِذَا
idha
behold
هُمۡ
hum
They
يَسۡتَبۡشِرُونَ
yastabshiruna
rejoice
٤٥
39:46
قُلِ
quli
Say
ٱللَّهُمَّ
al-lahuma
O Allah
فَاطِرَ
fatira
Creator
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
(of) the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ
wal-ardi
and the earth
عَٰلِمَ
alima
Knower
ٱلۡغَيۡبِ
al-ghaybi
(of) the unseen
وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ
wal-shahadati
and the witnessed
أَنتَ
anta
You
تَحۡكُمُ
tahkumu
will judge
بَيۡنَ
bayna
between
عِبَادِكَ
ibadika
Your slaves
فِي
fi
in
مَا
ma
what
كَانُواْ
kanu
they used to
فِيهِ
fihi
therein
يَخۡتَلِفُونَ
yakhtalifuna
differ
٤٦
39:47
وَلَوۡ
walaw
And if
أَنَّ
anna
And if
لِلَّذِينَ
lilladhina
those who
ظَلَمُواْ
zalamu
did wrong
مَا
ma
(had) whatever
فِي
fi
(is) in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
جَمِيعٗا
jami'an
all
وَمِثۡلَهُۥ
wamith'lahu
and (the) like of it
مَعَهُۥ
ma'ahu
with it
لَٱفۡتَدَوۡاْ
la-if'tadaw
they would ransom
بِهِۦ
bihi
with it
مِن
min
from
سُوٓءِ
sui
(the) evil
ٱلۡعَذَابِ
al-'adhabi
(of) the punishment
يَوۡمَ
yawma
(on the) Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِۚ
al-qiyamati
(of) the Resurrection
وَبَدَا
wabada
And (will) appear
لَهُم
lahum
to them
مِّنَ
mina
from
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
مَا
ma
what
لَمۡ
lam
not
يَكُونُواْ
yakunu
they had
يَحۡتَسِبُونَ
yahtasibuna
taken into account

وَبَدَا
wabada
And will become apparent
لَهُمۡ
lahum
to them
سَيِّـَٔاتُ
sayyiatu
(the) evils
مَا
ma
(of) what
كَسَبُواْ
kasabu
they earned
وَحَاقَ
wahaqa
and will surround
بِهِم
bihim
them
مَّا
ma
what
كَانُواْ
kanu
they used to
بِهِۦ
bihi
[in it]
يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ
yastahziuna
mock
٤٨
39:49
فَإِذَا
fa-idha
So when
مَسَّ
massa
touches
ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ
al-insana
[the] man
ضُرّٞ
durrun
adversity
دَعَانَا
da'ana
he calls upon Us
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
إِذَا
idha
when
خَوَّلۡنَٰهُ
khawwalnahu
We bestow (on) him
نِعۡمَةٗ
ni'matan
a favor
مِّنَّا
minna
from Us
قَالَ
qala
he says
إِنَّمَآ
innama
Only
أُوتِيتُهُۥ
utituhu
I have been given it
عَلَىٰ
ala
for
عِلۡمِۭۚ
il'min
knowledge
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
هِيَ
hiya
it
فِتۡنَةٞ
fit'natun
(is) a trial
وَلَٰكِنَّ
walakinna
but
أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ
aktharahum
most of them
لَا
la
(do) not
يَعۡلَمُونَ
ya'lamuna
know
٤٩
39:50
قَدۡ
qad
Indeed
قَالَهَا
qalaha
said it
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those
مِن
min
before them
قَبۡلِهِمۡ
qablihim
before them
فَمَآ
fama
but (did) not
أَغۡنَىٰ
aghna
avail
عَنۡهُم
anhum
them
مَّا
ma
what
كَانُواْ
kanu
they used to
يَكۡسِبُونَ
yaksibuna
earn
٥٠
39:51
فَأَصَابَهُمۡ
fa-asabahum
Then struck them
سَيِّـَٔاتُ
sayyiatu
(the) evils
مَا
ma
(of) what
كَسَبُواْۚ
kasabu
they earned
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
And those who
ظَلَمُواْ
zalamu
have wronged
مِنۡ
min
of
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
haulai
these
سَيُصِيبُهُمۡ
sayusibuhum
will strike them
سَيِّـَٔاتُ
sayyiatu
(the) evils
مَا
ma
(of) what
كَسَبُواْ
kasabu
they earned
وَمَا
wama
and not
هُم
hum
they
بِمُعۡجِزِينَ
bimu'jizina
will be able to escape
٥١
39:52
أَوَلَمۡ
awalam
Do not
يَعۡلَمُوٓاْ
ya'lamu
they know
أَنَّ
anna
that
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
يَبۡسُطُ
yabsutu
extends
ٱلرِّزۡقَ
al-riz'qa
the provision
لِمَن
liman
for whom
يَشَآءُ
yashau
He wills
وَيَقۡدِرُۚ
wayaqdiru
and restricts
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
فِي
fi
in
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
that
لَأٓيَٰتٖ
laayatin
surely (are) signs
لِّقَوۡمٖ
liqawmin
for a people
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yu'minuna
who believe
٥٢
39:53
۞قُلۡ
qul
Say
يَٰعِبَادِيَ
ya'ibadiya
O My slaves
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
Those who
أَسۡرَفُواْ
asrafu
have transgressed
عَلَىٰٓ
ala
against
أَنفُسِهِمۡ
anfusihim
themselves
لَا
la
(do) not
تَقۡنَطُواْ
taqnatu
despair
مِن
min
of
رَّحۡمَةِ
rahmati
(the) Mercy
ٱللَّهِۚ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
يَغۡفِرُ
yaghfiru
forgives
ٱلذُّنُوبَ
al-dhunuba
the sins
جَمِيعًاۚ
jami'an
all
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed He
هُوَ
huwa
He
ٱلۡغَفُورُ
al-ghafuru
(is) the Oft-Forgiving
ٱلرَّحِيمُ
al-rahimu
the Most Merciful
٥٣
39:54
وَأَنِيبُوٓاْ
wa-anibu
And turn
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
رَبِّكُمۡ
rabbikum
your Lord
وَأَسۡلِمُواْ
wa-aslimu
and submit
لَهُۥ
lahu
to Him
مِن
min
before
قَبۡلِ
qabli
before
أَن
an
[that]
يَأۡتِيَكُمُ
yatiyakumu
comes to you
ٱلۡعَذَابُ
al-'adhabu
the punishment
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
لَا
la
not
تُنصَرُونَ
tunsaruna
you will be helped
٥٤
39:55
وَٱتَّبِعُوٓاْ
wa-ittabi'u
And follow
أَحۡسَنَ
ahsana
(the) best
مَآ
ma
(of) what
أُنزِلَ
unzila
is revealed
إِلَيۡكُم
ilaykum
to you
مِّن
min
from
رَّبِّكُم
rabbikum
your Lord
مِّن
min
before
قَبۡلِ
qabli
before
أَن
an
[that]
يَأۡتِيَكُمُ
yatiyakumu
comes to you
ٱلۡعَذَابُ
al-'adhabu
the punishment
بَغۡتَةٗ
baghtatan
suddenly
وَأَنتُمۡ
wa-antum
while you
لَا
la
(do) not
تَشۡعُرُونَ
tash'uruna
perceive
٥٥
39:56
أَن
an
Lest
تَقُولَ
taqula
should say
نَفۡسٞ
nafsun
a soul
يَٰحَسۡرَتَىٰ
yahasrata
Oh! My regret
عَلَىٰ
ala
over
مَا
ma
what
فَرَّطتُ
farrattu
I neglected
فِي
fi
in
جَنۢبِ
janbi
regard (to)
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
وَإِن
wa-in
and that
كُنتُ
kuntu
I was
لَمِنَ
lamina
surely among
ٱلسَّٰخِرِينَ
al-sakhirina
the mockers

أَوۡ
aw
Or
تَقُولَ
taqula
it should say
لَوۡ
law
If that
أَنَّ
anna
If that
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
هَدَىٰنِي
hadani
(had) guided me
لَكُنتُ
lakuntu
surely I (would) have been
مِنَ
mina
among
ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ
al-mutaqina
the righteous
٥٧
39:58
أَوۡ
aw
Or
تَقُولَ
taqula
it should say
حِينَ
hina
when
تَرَى
tara
it sees
ٱلۡعَذَابَ
al-'adhaba
the punishment
لَوۡ
law
If
أَنَّ
anna
only
لِي
li
for me
كَرَّةٗ
karratan
another chance
فَأَكُونَ
fa-akuna
then I could be
مِنَ
mina
among
ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
al-muh'sinina
the good-doers
٥٨
39:59
بَلَىٰ
bala
Yes
قَدۡ
qad
verily
جَآءَتۡكَ
jaatka
came to you
ءَايَٰتِي
ayati
My Verses
فَكَذَّبۡتَ
fakadhabta
but you denied
بِهَا
biha
them
وَٱسۡتَكۡبَرۡتَ
wa-is'takbarta
and were arrogant
وَكُنتَ
wakunta
and you were
مِنَ
mina
among
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
al-kafirina
the disbelievers
٥٩
39:60
وَيَوۡمَ
wayawma
And (on the) Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ
al-qiyamati
(of) the Resurrection
تَرَى
tara
you will see
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَذَبُواْ
kadhabu
lied
عَلَى
ala
about
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
وُجُوهُهُم
wujuhuhum
their faces
مُّسۡوَدَّةٌۚ
mus'waddatun
(will be) blackened
أَلَيۡسَ
alaysa
Is (there) not
فِي
fi
in
جَهَنَّمَ
jahannama
Hell
مَثۡوٗى
mathwan
an abode
لِّلۡمُتَكَبِّرِينَ
lil'mutakabbirina
for the arrogant
٦٠
39:61
وَيُنَجِّي
wayunajji
And Allah will deliver
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
And Allah will deliver
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ٱتَّقَوۡاْ
ittaqaw
feared (Him)
بِمَفَازَتِهِمۡ
bimafazatihim
to their place of salvation
لَا
la
not
يَمَسُّهُمُ
yamassuhumu
will touch them
ٱلسُّوٓءُ
al-suu
the evil
وَلَا
wala
and not
هُمۡ
hum
they
يَحۡزَنُونَ
yahzanuna
will grieve
٦١
39:62
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
خَٰلِقُ
khaliqu
(is the) Creator
كُلِّ
kulli
(of) all
شَيۡءٖۖ
shayin
things
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
and He
عَلَىٰ
ala
(is) over
كُلِّ
kulli
all
شَيۡءٖ
shayin
things
وَكِيلٞ
wakilun
a Guardian
٦٢
39:63
لَّهُۥ
lahu
For Him
مَقَالِيدُ
maqalidu
(are the) keys
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
(of) the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۗ
wal-ardi
and the earth
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
And those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieve
بِـَٔايَٰتِ
biayati
in (the) Verses
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
those
هُمُ
humu
they
ٱلۡخَٰسِرُونَ
al-khasiruna
(are) the losers
٦٣
39:64
قُلۡ
qul
Say
أَفَغَيۡرَ
afaghayra
Is (it) other than
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
تَأۡمُرُوٓنِّيٓ
tamurunni
you order me
أَعۡبُدُ
a'budu
(to) worship
أَيُّهَا
ayyuha
O
ٱلۡجَٰهِلُونَ
al-jahiluna
ignorant ones
٦٤
39:65
وَلَقَدۡ
walaqad
And verily
أُوحِيَ
uhiya
it has been revealed
إِلَيۡكَ
ilayka
to you
وَإِلَى
wa-ila
and to
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
مِن
min
(were) before you
قَبۡلِكَ
qablika
(were) before you
لَئِنۡ
la-in
if
أَشۡرَكۡتَ
ashrakta
you associate (with Allah)
لَيَحۡبَطَنَّ
layahbatanna
surely will become worthless
عَمَلُكَ
amaluka
your deeds
وَلَتَكُونَنَّ
walatakunanna
and you will surely be
مِنَ
mina
among
ٱلۡخَٰسِرِينَ
al-khasirina
the losers
٦٥
39:66
بَلِ
bali
Nay
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
But worship Allah
فَٱعۡبُدۡ
fa-u'bud
But worship Allah
وَكُن
wakun
and be
مِّنَ
mina
among
ٱلشَّٰكِرِينَ
al-shakirina
the thankful ones
٦٦
39:67
وَمَا
wama
And not
قَدَرُواْ
qadaru
they appraised
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
حَقَّ
haqqa

قَدۡرِهِۦ
qadrihi
appraisal
وَٱلۡأَرۡضُ
wal-ardu
while the earth
جَمِيعٗا
jami'an
entirely
قَبۡضَتُهُۥ
qabdatuhu
(will be) in His Grip
يَوۡمَ
yawma
(on the) Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ
al-qiyamati
(of) the Resurrection
وَٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ
wal-samawatu
and the heavens
مَطۡوِيَّٰتُۢ
matwiyyatun
(will be) folded
بِيَمِينِهِۦۚ
biyaminihi
in His Right Hand
سُبۡحَٰنَهُۥ
sub'hanahu
Glory be to Him
وَتَعَٰلَىٰ
wata'ala
And High is He
عَمَّا
amma
above what
يُشۡرِكُونَ
yush'rikuna
they associate (with Him)

39:68
وَنُفِخَ
wanufikha
And (will) be blown
فِي
fi
[in]
ٱلصُّورِ
al-suri
the trumpet
فَصَعِقَ
fasa'iqa
then (will) fall dead
مَن
man
whoever
فِي
fi
(is) in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَمَن
waman
and whoever
فِي
fi
(is) on
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
إِلَّا
illa
except
مَن
man
whom
شَآءَ
shaa
Allah wills
ٱللَّهُۖ
al-lahu
Allah wills
ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
نُفِخَ
nufikha
(it will) be blown
فِيهِ
fihi
[in it]
أُخۡرَىٰ
ukh'ra
a second time
فَإِذَا
fa-idha
and behold
هُمۡ
hum
They
قِيَامٞ
qiyamun
(will be) standing
يَنظُرُونَ
yanzuruna
waiting
٦٨
39:69
وَأَشۡرَقَتِ
wa-ashraqati
And (will) shine
ٱلۡأَرۡضُ
al-ardu
the earth
بِنُورِ
binuri
with (the) light
رَبِّهَا
rabbiha
(of) its Lord
وَوُضِعَ
wawudi'a
and (will) be placed
ٱلۡكِتَٰبُ
al-kitabu
the Record
وَجِاْيٓءَ
wajia
and (will) be brought
بِٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ
bil-nabiyina
the Prophets
وَٱلشُّهَدَآءِ
wal-shuhadai
and the witnesses
وَقُضِيَ
waqudiya
and it (will) be judged
بَيۡنَهُم
baynahum
between them
بِٱلۡحَقِّ
bil-haqi
in truth
وَهُمۡ
wahum
and they
لَا
la
will not be wronged
يُظۡلَمُونَ
yuz'lamuna
will not be wronged
٦٩
39:70
وَوُفِّيَتۡ
wawuffiyat
And (will) be paid in full
كُلُّ
kullu
every
نَفۡسٖ
nafsin
soul
مَّا
ma
what
عَمِلَتۡ
amilat
it did
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
and He
أَعۡلَمُ
a'lamu
(is the) Best-Knower
بِمَا
bima
of what
يَفۡعَلُونَ
yaf 'aluna
they do
٧٠
39:71
وَسِيقَ
wasiqa
And (will) be driven
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَفَرُوٓاْ
kafaru
disbelieve
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
جَهَنَّمَ
jahannama
Hell
زُمَرًاۖ
zumaran
(in) groups
حَتَّىٰٓ
hatta
until
إِذَا
idha
when
جَآءُوهَا
jauha
they reach it
فُتِحَتۡ
futihat
(will) be opened
أَبۡوَٰبُهَا
abwabuha
its gates
وَقَالَ
waqala
and (will) say
لَهُمۡ
lahum
to them
خَزَنَتُهَآ
khazanatuha
its keepers
أَلَمۡ
alam
Did not
يَأۡتِكُمۡ
yatikum
come to you
رُسُلٞ
rusulun
Messengers
مِّنكُمۡ
minkum
from you
يَتۡلُونَ
yatluna
reciting
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
alaykum
to you
ءَايَٰتِ
ayati
(the) Verses
رَبِّكُمۡ
rabbikum
(of) your Lord
وَيُنذِرُونَكُمۡ
wayundhirunakum
and warning you
لِقَآءَ
liqaa
(of the) meeting
يَوۡمِكُمۡ
yawmikum
(of) your Day
هَٰذَاۚ
hadha
this
قَالُواْ
qalu
They (will) say
بَلَىٰ
bala
Yes
وَلَٰكِنۡ
walakin
But
حَقَّتۡ
haqqat
has been justified
كَلِمَةُ
kalimatu
(the) word
ٱلۡعَذَابِ
al-'adhabi
(of) punishment
عَلَى
ala
against
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
al-kafirina
the disbelievers
٧١
39:72
قِيلَ
qila
It will be said
ٱدۡخُلُوٓاْ
ud'khulu
Enter
أَبۡوَٰبَ
abwaba
(the) gates
جَهَنَّمَ
jahannama
(of) Hell
خَٰلِدِينَ
khalidina
(to) abide eternally
فِيهَاۖ
fiha
therein
فَبِئۡسَ
fabi'sa
and wretched is
مَثۡوَى
mathwa
(the) abode
ٱلۡمُتَكَبِّرِينَ
al-mutakabirina
(of) the arrogant
٧٢
39:73
وَسِيقَ
wasiqa
And (will) be driven
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ٱتَّقَوۡاْ
ittaqaw
feared
رَبَّهُمۡ
rabbahum
their Lord
إِلَى
ila
to
ٱلۡجَنَّةِ
al-janati
Paradise
زُمَرًاۖ
zumaran
(in) groups
حَتَّىٰٓ
hatta
until
إِذَا
idha
when
جَآءُوهَا
jauha
they reach it
وَفُتِحَتۡ
wafutihat
and (will) be opened
أَبۡوَٰبُهَا
abwabuha
its gates
وَقَالَ
waqala
and (will) say
لَهُمۡ
lahum
to them
خَزَنَتُهَا
khazanatuha
its keepers
سَلَٰمٌ
salamun
Peace be
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
alaykum
upon you
طِبۡتُمۡ
tib'tum
you have done well
فَٱدۡخُلُوهَا
fa-ud'khuluha
so enter it
خَٰلِدِينَ
khalidina
(to) abide eternally
٧٣
39:74
وَقَالُواْ
waqalu
And they will say
ٱلۡحَمۡدُ
al-hamdu
All praise
لِلَّهِ
lillahi
(be) to Allah
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
Who
صَدَقَنَا
sadaqana
has fulfilled for us
وَعۡدَهُۥ
wa'dahu
His promise
وَأَوۡرَثَنَا
wa-awrathana
and has made us inherit
ٱلۡأَرۡضَ
al-arda
the earth
نَتَبَوَّأُ
natabawwa-u
we may settle
مِنَ
mina
[from]
ٱلۡجَنَّةِ
al-janati
(in) Paradise
حَيۡثُ
haythu
wherever
نَشَآءُۖ
nashau
we wish
فَنِعۡمَ
fani'ma
So excellent
أَجۡرُ
ajru
(is the) reward
ٱلۡعَٰمِلِينَ
al-'amilina
(of) the workers
٧٤

وَتَرَى
watara
And you will see
ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ
al-malaikata
the Angels
حَآفِّينَ
haffina
surrounding
مِنۡ
min
[from]
حَوۡلِ
hawli
around
ٱلۡعَرۡشِ
al-'arshi
the Throne
يُسَبِّحُونَ
yusabbihuna
glorifying
بِحَمۡدِ
bihamdi
(the) praise
رَبِّهِمۡۚ
rabbihim
(of) their Lord
وَقُضِيَ
waqudiya
And (will) be judged
بَيۡنَهُم
baynahum
between them
بِٱلۡحَقِّۚ
bil-haqi
in truth
وَقِيلَ
waqila
and it will be said
ٱلۡحَمۡدُ
al-hamdu
All praise be
لِلَّهِ
lillahi
to Allah
رَبِّ
rabbi
(the) Lord
ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
al-'alamina
(of) the worlds
٧٥
40:1
حمٓ
ha-meem
Ha Meem
١
40:2
تَنزِيلُ
tanzilu
(The) revelation
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
al-kitabi
(of) the Book
مِنَ
mina
(is) from
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
ٱلۡعَزِيزِ
al-'azizi
the All-Mighty
ٱلۡعَلِيمِ
al-'alimi
the All-Knower
٢
40:3
غَافِرِ
ghafiri
(The) Forgiver
ٱلذَّنۢبِ
al-dhanbi
(of) the sin
وَقَابِلِ
waqabili
and (the) Acceptor
ٱلتَّوۡبِ
al-tawbi
(of) [the] repentance
شَدِيدِ
shadidi
severe
ٱلۡعِقَابِ
al-'iqabi
(in) the punishment
ذِي
dhi
Owner (of) the abundance
ٱلطَّوۡلِۖ
al-tawli
Owner (of) the abundance
لَآ
la
(There is) no
إِلَٰهَ
ilaha
god
إِلَّا
illa
except
هُوَۖ
huwa
Him
إِلَيۡهِ
ilayhi
to Him
ٱلۡمَصِيرُ
al-masiru
(is) the final return

40:4
مَا
ma
Not
يُجَٰدِلُ
yujadilu
dispute
فِيٓ
fi
concerning
ءَايَٰتِ
ayati
(the) Verses
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
إِلَّا
illa
except
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieve
فَلَا
fala
so (let) not
يَغۡرُرۡكَ
yaghrur'ka
deceive you
تَقَلُّبُهُمۡ
taqallubuhum
their movement
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡبِلَٰدِ
al-biladi
the cities
٤
40:5
كَذَّبَتۡ
kadhabat
Denied
قَبۡلَهُمۡ
qablahum
before them
قَوۡمُ
qawmu
(the) people
نُوحٖ
nuhin
(of) Nuh
وَٱلۡأَحۡزَابُ
wal-ahzabu
and the factions
مِنۢ
min
after them
بَعۡدِهِمۡۖ
ba'dihim
after them
وَهَمَّتۡ
wahammat
and plotted
كُلُّ
kullu
every
أُمَّةِۭ
ummatin
nation
بِرَسُولِهِمۡ
birasulihim
against their Messenger
لِيَأۡخُذُوهُۖ
liyakhudhuhu
to seize him
وَجَٰدَلُواْ
wajadalu
and they disputed
بِٱلۡبَٰطِلِ
bil-batili
by falsehood
لِيُدۡحِضُواْ
liyud'hidu
to refute
بِهِ
bihi
thereby
ٱلۡحَقَّ
al-haqa
the truth
فَأَخَذۡتُهُمۡۖ
fa-akhadhtuhum
So I seized them
فَكَيۡفَ
fakayfa
Then how
كَانَ
kana
was
عِقَابِ
iqabi
My penalty
٥
40:6
وَكَذَٰلِكَ
wakadhalika
And thus
حَقَّتۡ
haqqat
has been justified
كَلِمَتُ
kalimatu
(the) Word
رَبِّكَ
rabbika
(of) your Lord
عَلَى
ala
against
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَفَرُوٓاْ
kafaru
disbelieved
أَنَّهُمۡ
annahum
that they
أَصۡحَٰبُ
ashabu
(are) companions
ٱلنَّارِ
al-nari
(of) the Fire
٦
