- When to Recite Dua After Salah (Astaghfirullah)
Common Questions
After completing fajr and maghrib prayer, say Allahumma ajirni min annar seven times before speaking to anyone. This dua brings protection from the Fire if recited daily at these times as taught by the Prophet Muhammad.
You can write this dua as اللَّهُمَّ أَجِرْنِي مِنَ النَّارِ or اللَّهُمَّ أَجِرْنا مِنَ النَّارِ. Both carry the same meaning and can be used during dua after maghrib or fajr prayers for protection.
To seek safety from Jahannam, recite Allahumma ajirni min annar or Allaahumma innee as'alukaljannata wa a'oothu bika minannaar. These duas after fajr and maghrib namaz are known for seeking protection from the Fire.
