خُشَّعًا
Khushshaʻan
(Will be) humbled
أَبۡصَٰرُهُمۡ
ʹabṣaaruhum
their eyes
يَخۡرُجُونَ
yakhrujoona
they will come forth
مِنَ
minal
from
ٱلۡأَجۡدَاثِ
ʹajdaas̤i
the graves
كَأَنَّهُمۡ
kaʹannahum
as if they (were)
جَرَادٞ
jaraadum
locusts
مُّنتَشِرٞ
muñtashir.
spreading
٧
54:8
مُّهۡطِعِينَ
Muhṭiʻeena
Racing ahead
إِلَى
ʹilad
towards
ٱلدَّاعِۖ
Daaʻ!
the caller
يَقُولُ
Yaq̣oolul
Will say
ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ
kaafiroona
the disbelievers
هَٰذَا
˹Haaẓaa
This
يَوۡمٌ
Yawmun
(is) a Day
عَسِرٞ
ʻasir.˺
difficult
٨
54:9
۞كَذَّبَتۡ
Kaẓẓabat
Denied
قَبۡلَهُمۡ
q̣ablahum
before them
قَوۡمُ
Q̣awmu
(the) people
نُوحٖ
Nooḥiñ
(of) Nuh
فَكَذَّبُواْ
fakaẓẓaboo
and they denied
عَبۡدَنَا
ʻAbdanaa
Our slave
وَقَالُواْ
wa-q̣aaloo
and said
مَجۡنُونٞ
majnooñuw
A madman
وَٱزۡدُجِرَ
wazdujir.
and he was repelled
٩
54:10
فَدَعَا
Fadaʻaa
So he called
رَبَّهُۥٓ
Rabbahooo
his Lord
أَنِّي
ʹannee
I am
مَغۡلُوبٞ
mag̣loobuñ
one overpowered
فَٱنتَصِرۡ
fañtaṣir!
so help
١٠
54:11
فَفَتَحۡنَآ
Fafataḥnaaa
So We opened
أَبۡوَٰبَ
ʹabwaabas
(the) gates
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
samaaaʹi
(of) heaven
بِمَآءٖ
bimaaaʹim
with water
مُّنۡهَمِرٖ
munhamir.
pouring down
١١
54:12
وَفَجَّرۡنَا
Wa-fajjarnal
And We caused to burst
ٱلۡأَرۡضَ
ʹarḍa
the earth
عُيُونٗا
ʻuyoonañ
(with) springs
فَٱلۡتَقَى
faltaq̣al
so met
ٱلۡمَآءُ
maaaʹu
the water(s)
عَلَىٰٓ
ʻalaaa
for
أَمۡرٖ
ʹamriñ
a matter
قَدۡ
q̣ad
already
قُدِرَ
q̣udir.
predestined
١٢
54:13
وَحَمَلۡنَٰهُ
Wa-ḥamalnaahu
And We carried him
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
on
ذَاتِ
ẓaati
(ark) made of planks
أَلۡوَٰحٖ
ʹalwaaḥiñw
(ark) made of planks
وَدُسُرٖ
Wadusur,
and nails
١٣
54:14
تَجۡرِي
Tajree
Sailing
بِأَعۡيُنِنَا
biʹaʻyuninaa;
before Our eyes
جَزَآءٗ
jazaaaʹal
a reward
لِّمَن
limañ
for (he) who
كَانَ
kaana
was
كُفِرَ
kufir!
denied
١٤
54:15
وَلَقَد
Wa-laq̣at
And certainly
تَّرَكۡنَٰهَآ
taraknaahaaa
We left it
ءَايَةٗ
ʹAayatañ
(as) a Sign
فَهَلۡ
fahal
so is (there)
مِن
mim
any
مُّدَّكِرٖ
muddakir?
who will receive admonition
١٥
54:16
فَكَيۡفَ
Fakayfa
So how
كَانَ
kaana
was
عَذَابِي
ʻAẓaabee
My punishment
وَنُذُرِ
wa-Nuẓur?
and My warnings
١٦
54:17
وَلَقَدۡ
Wa-laq̣ad
And certainly
يَسَّرۡنَا
yassarnal
We have made easy
ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ
Q̣urʹaana
the Quran
لِلذِّكۡرِ
liẓ-Ẓikri
for remembrance
فَهَلۡ
fahal
so is (there)
مِن
mim
any
مُّدَّكِرٖ
muddakir?
who will receive admonition
١٧
54:18
كَذَّبَتۡ
Kaẓẓabat
Denied
عَادٞ
ʻAaduñ
Aad
فَكَيۡفَ
fakayfa
so how
كَانَ
kaana
was
عَذَابِي
ʻAẓaabee
My punishment
وَنُذُرِ
wa-Nuẓur.
and My warnings
١٨
54:19
إِنَّآ
ʹInnaaa
Indeed We
أَرۡسَلۡنَا
ʹarsalnaa
[We] sent
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
ʻalayhim
upon them
رِيحٗا
reeḥañ
a wind
صَرۡصَرٗا
ṣarṣarañ
furious
فِي
fee
on
يَوۡمِ
Yawmi
a day
نَحۡسٖ
naḥsim
(of) misfortune
مُّسۡتَمِرّٖ
mustamirr,
continuous
١٩
54:20
تَنزِعُ
Tañziʻun
Plucking out
ٱلنَّاسَ
naasa
men
كَأَنَّهُمۡ
kaʹannahum
as if they (were)
أَعۡجَازُ
ʹaʻjaazu
trunks
نَخۡلٖ
nakhlim
(of) date-palms
مُّنقَعِرٖ
muñq̣aʻir.
uprooted
٢٠
54:21
فَكَيۡفَ
Fakayfa
So how
كَانَ
kaana
was
عَذَابِي
ʻaẓaabee
My punishment
وَنُذُرِ
wa-nuẓur?
and My warnings
٢١
54:22
وَلَقَدۡ
Wa-laq̣ad
And certainly
يَسَّرۡنَا
yassarnal
We have made easy
ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ
Q̣urʹaana
the Quran
لِلذِّكۡرِ
liẓ-Ẓikri
for remembrance
فَهَلۡ
fahal
so is (there)
مِن
mim
any
مُّدَّكِرٖ
muddakir?
who will receive admonition
٢٢
54:23
كَذَّبَتۡ
Kaẓẓabat
Denied
ثَمُودُ
S̤amoodu
Thamud
بِٱلنُّذُرِ
bin-Nuẓur.
the warnings
٢٣
54:24
فَقَالُوٓاْ
Faq̣aalooo
And said
أَبَشَرٗا
ʹabasharam
Is (it) a human being
مِّنَّا
minnaa
among us
وَٰحِدٗا
waaḥidan
one
نَّتَّبِعُهُۥٓ
nattabiʻuhooo
(that) we should follow him
إِنَّآ
ʹinnaaa
Indeed we
إِذٗا
ʹiẓal
then
لَّفِي
lafee
(will be) surely in
ضَلَٰلٖ
ḍalaaliñw
error
وَسُعُرٍ
wasuʻur!
and madness
٢٤
54:25
أَءُلۡقِيَ
ʹA-ʹulq̣iyaẓ
Has been sent
ٱلذِّكۡرُ
Ẓikru
the Reminder
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhi
to him
مِنۢ
mim
from
بَيۡنِنَا
bayninaa
among us
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
هُوَ
huwa
he
كَذَّابٌ
kaẓẓaabun
(is) a liar
أَشِرٞ
ʹashir!
insolent
٢٥
54:26
سَيَعۡلَمُونَ
Sayaʻlamoona
They will know
غَدٗا
g̣adam
tomorrow
مَّنِ
manil
who
ٱلۡكَذَّابُ
kaẓẓaabul
(is) the liar
ٱلۡأَشِرُ
ʹashir!
the insolent one
٢٦
54:27
إِنَّا
ʹInnaa
Indeed We
مُرۡسِلُواْ
mursilun
(are) sending
ٱلنَّاقَةِ
naaq̣ati
the she-camel
فِتۡنَةٗ
fitnatal
(as) a trial
لَّهُمۡ
lahum
for them
فَٱرۡتَقِبۡهُمۡ
fartaq̣ibhum
so watch them
وَٱصۡطَبِرۡ
waṣṭabir!
and be patient
