al-rahmanu
The Most Gracious
١
55:2
عَلَّمَ
allama
He taught
ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ
al-qur'ana
the Quran
٢
55:3
خَلَقَ
khalaqa
He created
ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ
al-insana
[the] man
٣
55:4
عَلَّمَهُ
allamahu
He taught him
ٱلۡبَيَانَ
al-bayana
[the] speech
٤
55:5
ٱلشَّمۡسُ
al-shamsu
The sun
وَٱلۡقَمَرُ
wal-qamaru
and the moon
بِحُسۡبَانٖ
bihus'banin
by (precise) calculation
٥
55:6
وَٱلنَّجۡمُ
wal-najmu
And the stars
وَٱلشَّجَرُ
wal-shajaru
and the trees
يَسۡجُدَانِ
yasjudani
both prostrate
٦
55:7
وَٱلسَّمَآءَ
wal-samaa
And the heaven
رَفَعَهَا
rafa'aha
He raised it
وَوَضَعَ
wawada'a
and He has set up
ٱلۡمِيزَانَ
al-mizana
the balance
٧
55:8
أَلَّا
alla
That not
تَطۡغَوۡاْ
tatghaw
you may transgress
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡمِيزَانِ
al-mizani
the balance
٨
55:9
وَأَقِيمُواْ
wa-aqimu
And establish
ٱلۡوَزۡنَ
al-wazna
the weight
بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ
bil-qis'ti
in justice
وَلَا
wala
and (do) not
تُخۡسِرُواْ
tukh'siru
make deficient
ٱلۡمِيزَانَ
al-mizana
the balance
٩
55:10
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ
wal-arda
And the earth
وَضَعَهَا
wada'aha
He laid it
لِلۡأَنَامِ
lil'anami
for the creatures
١٠
55:11
فِيهَا
fiha
Therein
فَٰكِهَةٞ
fakihatun
(is) fruit
وَٱلنَّخۡلُ
wal-nakhlu
and date-palms
ذَاتُ
dhatu
having
ٱلۡأَكۡمَامِ
al-akmami
sheaths
١١
55:12
وَٱلۡحَبُّ
wal-habu
And the grain
ذُو
dhu
having
ٱلۡعَصۡفِ
al-'asfi
husk
وَٱلرَّيۡحَانُ
wal-rayhanu
and scented plants
١٢
55:13
فَبِأَيِّ
fabi-ayyi
So which
ءَالَآءِ
alai
(of the) favors
رَبِّكُمَا
rabbikuma
(of) your Lord
تُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibani
will you both deny
١٣
55:14
خَلَقَ
khalaqa
He created
ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ
al-insana
the man
مِن
min
from
صَلۡصَٰلٖ
salsalin
clay
كَٱلۡفَخَّارِ
kal-fakhari
like the pottery
١٤
55:15
وَخَلَقَ
wakhalaqa
And He created
ٱلۡجَآنَّ
al-jana
the jinn
مِن
min
from
مَّارِجٖ
marijin
a smokeless flame
مِّن
min
of
نَّارٖ
narin
fire
١٥
55:16
فَبِأَيِّ
fabi-ayyi
So which
ءَالَآءِ
alai
(of the) favors
رَبِّكُمَا
rabbikuma
(of) your Lord
تُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibani
will you both deny

رَبُّ
rabbu
Lord
ٱلۡمَشۡرِقَيۡنِ
al-mashriqayni
(of) the two Easts
وَرَبُّ
warabbu
and Lord
ٱلۡمَغۡرِبَيۡنِ
al-maghribayni
(of) the two Wests
١٧
55:18
فَبِأَيِّ
fabi-ayyi
So which
ءَالَآءِ
alai
(of the) favors
رَبِّكُمَا
rabbikuma
(of) your Lord
تُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibani
will you both deny
١٨
55:19
مَرَجَ
maraja
He released
ٱلۡبَحۡرَيۡنِ
al-bahrayni
the two seas
يَلۡتَقِيَانِ
yaltaqiyani
meeting
١٩
55:20
بَيۡنَهُمَا
baynahuma
Between both of them
بَرۡزَخٞ
barzakhun
(is) a barrier
لَّا
la
not
يَبۡغِيَانِ
yabghiyani
they transgress
٢٠
55:21
فَبِأَيِّ
fabi-ayyi
So which
ءَالَآءِ
alai
(of the) favors
رَبِّكُمَا
rabbikuma
(of) your Lord
تُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibani
will you both deny
٢١
55:22
يَخۡرُجُ
yakhruju
Come forth
مِنۡهُمَا
min'huma
from both of them
ٱللُّؤۡلُؤُ
al-u'lu-u
the pearl
وَٱلۡمَرۡجَانُ
wal-marjanu
and the coral
٢٢
55:23
فَبِأَيِّ
fabi-ayyi
So which
ءَالَآءِ
alai
(of the) favors
رَبِّكُمَا
rabbikuma
(of) your Lord
تُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibani
will you both deny
٢٣
55:24
وَلَهُ
walahu
And for Him
ٱلۡجَوَارِ
al-jawari
(are) the ships
ٱلۡمُنشَـَٔاتُ
al-munshaatu
elevated
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡبَحۡرِ
al-bahri
the sea
كَٱلۡأَعۡلَٰمِ
kal-a'lami
like mountains
٢٤
55:25
فَبِأَيِّ
fabi-ayyi
So which
ءَالَآءِ
alai
(of the) favors
رَبِّكُمَا
rabbikuma
(of) your Lord
تُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibani
will you both deny
٢٥
55:26
كُلُّ
kullu
Everyone
مَنۡ
man
who
عَلَيۡهَا
alayha
(is) on it
فَانٖ
fanin
(will) perish
٢٦
55:27
وَيَبۡقَىٰ
wayabqa
But will remain
وَجۡهُ
wajhu
(the) Face
رَبِّكَ
rabbika
(of) your Lord
ذُو
dhu
(the) Owner
ٱلۡجَلَٰلِ
al-jalali
(of) Majesty
وَٱلۡإِكۡرَامِ
wal-ik'rami
and Honor
٢٧
55:28
فَبِأَيِّ
fabi-ayyi
So which
ءَالَآءِ
alai
(of the) favors
رَبِّكُمَا
rabbikuma
(of) your Lord
تُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibani
will you both deny
٢٨
55:29
يَسۡـَٔلُهُۥ
yasaluhu
Asks Him
مَن
man
whoever
فِي
fi
(is) in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ
wal-ardi
and the earth
كُلَّ
kulla
Every
يَوۡمٍ
yawmin
day
هُوَ
huwa
He
فِي
fi
(is) in
شَأۡنٖ
shanin
a matter
٢٩
55:30
فَبِأَيِّ
fabi-ayyi
So which
ءَالَآءِ
alai
(of the) favors
رَبِّكُمَا
rabbikuma
(of) your Lord
تُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibani
will you both deny
٣٠
55:31
سَنَفۡرُغُ
sanafrughu
Soon We will attend
لَكُمۡ
lakum
to you
أَيُّهَ
ayyuha
O you
ٱلثَّقَلَانِ
al-thaqalani
two classes
٣١
55:32
فَبِأَيِّ
fabi-ayyi
So which
ءَالَآءِ
alai
(of the) favors
رَبِّكُمَا
rabbikuma
(of) your Lord
تُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibani
will you both deny
٣٢
55:33
يَٰمَعۡشَرَ
yama'shara
O assembly
ٱلۡجِنِّ
al-jini
(of) the jinn
وَٱلۡإِنسِ
wal-insi
and the men
إِنِ
ini
If
ٱسۡتَطَعۡتُمۡ
is'tata'tum
you are able
أَن
an
to
تَنفُذُواْ
tanfudhu
pass beyond
مِنۡ
min
[of]
أَقۡطَارِ
aqtari
(the) regions
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
(of) the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ
wal-ardi
and the earth
فَٱنفُذُواْۚ
fa-unfudhu
then pass
لَا
la
Not
تَنفُذُونَ
tanfudhuna
you (can) pass
إِلَّا
illa
except
بِسُلۡطَٰنٖ
bisul'tanin
by authority
٣٣
55:34
فَبِأَيِّ
fabi-ayyi
So which
ءَالَآءِ
alai
(of the) favors
رَبِّكُمَا
rabbikuma
(of) your Lord
تُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibani
will you both deny
٣٤
55:35
يُرۡسَلُ
yur'salu
Will be sent
عَلَيۡكُمَا
alaykuma
against both of you
شُوَاظٞ
shuwazun
a flame
مِّن
min
of
نَّارٖ
narin
fire
وَنُحَاسٞ
wanuhasun
and smoke
فَلَا
fala
and not
تَنتَصِرَانِ
tantasirani
you will (be able to) defend yourselves
٣٥
55:36
فَبِأَيِّ
fabi-ayyi
So which
ءَالَآءِ
alai
(of the) favors
رَبِّكُمَا
rabbikuma
(of) your Lord
تُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibani
will you both deny
٣٦
55:37
فَإِذَا
fa-idha
Then when
ٱنشَقَّتِ
inshaqqati
is split
ٱلسَّمَآءُ
al-samau
the heaven
فَكَانَتۡ
fakanat
and it becomes
وَرۡدَةٗ
wardatan
rose-colored
كَٱلدِّهَانِ
kal-dihani
like murky oil
٣٧
55:38
فَبِأَيِّ
fabi-ayyi
So which
ءَالَآءِ
alai
(of the) favors
رَبِّكُمَا
rabbikuma
(of) your Lord
تُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibani
will you both deny
٣٨
55:39
فَيَوۡمَئِذٖ
fayawma-idhin
Then (on) that Day
لَّا
la
not
يُسۡـَٔلُ
yus'alu
will be asked
عَن
an
about
ذَنۢبِهِۦٓ
dhanbihi
his sin
إِنسٞ
insun
any man
وَلَا
wala
and not
جَآنّٞ
jannun
any jinn
٣٩
55:40
فَبِأَيِّ
fabi-ayyi
So which
ءَالَآءِ
alai
(of the) favors
رَبِّكُمَا
rabbikuma
(of) your Lord
تُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibani
will you both deny

يُعۡرَفُ
yu'rafu
Will be known
ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ
al-muj'rimuna
the criminals
بِسِيمَٰهُمۡ
bisimahum
by their marks
فَيُؤۡخَذُ
fayu'khadhu
and will be seized
بِٱلنَّوَٰصِي
bil-nawasi
by the forelocks
وَٱلۡأَقۡدَامِ
wal-aqdami
and the feet
٤١
55:42
فَبِأَيِّ
fabi-ayyi
So which
ءَالَآءِ
alai
(of the) favors
رَبِّكُمَا
rabbikuma
(of) your Lord
تُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibani
will you both deny
٤٢
55:43
هَٰذِهِۦ
hadhihi
This
جَهَنَّمُ
jahannamu
(is) Hell
ٱلَّتِي
allati
which
يُكَذِّبُ
yukadhibu
deny
بِهَا
biha
[of it]
ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ
al-muj'rimuna
the criminals
٤٣
55:44
يَطُوفُونَ
yatufuna
They will go around
بَيۡنَهَا
baynaha
between it
وَبَيۡنَ
wabayna
and between
حَمِيمٍ
hamimin
scalding water
ءَانٖ
anin
heated
٤٤
55:45
فَبِأَيِّ
fabi-ayyi
So which
ءَالَآءِ
alai
(of the) favors
رَبِّكُمَا
rabbikuma
(of) your Lord
تُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibani
will you both deny
٤٥
55:46
وَلِمَنۡ
waliman
But for (him) who
خَافَ
khafa
fears
مَقَامَ
maqama
(the) standing
رَبِّهِۦ
rabbihi
(before) his Lord
جَنَّتَانِ
jannatani
(are) two gardens
٤٦
55:47
فَبِأَيِّ
fabi-ayyi
So which
ءَالَآءِ
alai
(of the) favors
رَبِّكُمَا
rabbikuma
(of) your Lord
تُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibani
will you both deny
٤٧
55:48
ذَوَاتَآ
dhawata
Having
أَفۡنَانٖ
afnanin
branches
٤٨
55:49
فَبِأَيِّ
fabi-ayyi
So which
ءَالَآءِ
alai
(of the) favors
رَبِّكُمَا
rabbikuma
(of) your Lord
تُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibani
will you both deny
٤٩
55:50
فِيهِمَا
fihima
In both of them
عَيۡنَانِ
aynani
(are) two springs
تَجۡرِيَانِ
tajriyani
flowing
٥٠
