إِنَّكُمۡ
ʹInnakum
Indeed you
لَفِي
lafee
(are) surely in
قَوۡلٖ
q̣awlim
a speech
مُّخۡتَلِفٖ
mukhtalif.
differing

يُؤۡفَكُ
Yuʹfaku
Deluded away
عَنۡهُ
ʻanhu
from it
مَنۡ
man
(is he) who
أُفِكَ
ʹufik.
is deluded

51:10
قُتِلَ
Q̣utilal
Cursed be
ٱلۡخَرَّٰصُونَ
kharraaṣoon,―
the liars

51:11
ٱلَّذِينَ
ʹAllaẓeena
Those who
هُمۡ
hum
[they]
فِي
fee
(are) in
غَمۡرَةٖ
g̣amratiñ
flood
سَاهُونَ
saahoon:
(of) heedlessness

51:12
يَسۡـَٔلُونَ
Yasʹaloona
They ask
أَيَّانَ
ʹayyaana
When
يَوۡمُ
Yawmud
(is the) Day
ٱلدِّينِ
Deen?
(of) Judgment
١٢
51:13
يَوۡمَ
Yawma
A Day
هُمۡ
hum
they
عَلَى
ʻalan
over
ٱلنَّارِ
Naari
the Fire
يُفۡتَنُونَ
yuftanoon!
will be tried
١٣
51:14
ذُوقُواْ
Ẓooq̣oo
Taste
فِتۡنَتَكُمۡ
fitnatakum!
your trial
هَٰذَا
Haa-ẓal
This
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
(is) what
كُنتُم
kuñtum̃
you were
بِهِۦ
bihee
for it
تَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَ
tas-taʻjiloon!
seeking to hasten
١٤
51:15
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ
Muttaq̣eena
the righteous
فِي
fee
(will be) in
جَنَّٰتٖ
Jannaatiñw
Gardens
وَعُيُونٍ
Waʻuyoon,
and springs
١٥
51:16
ءَاخِذِينَ
ʹAakhiẓeena
Taking
مَآ
maaa
what
ءَاتَىٰهُمۡ
ʹaataahum
their Lord has given them
رَبُّهُمۡۚ
Rabbuhum:
their Lord has given them
إِنَّهُمۡ
ʹinnahum
Indeed they
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
were
قَبۡلَ
q̣abla
before
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
that
مُحۡسِنِينَ
Muḥsineen.
good-doers
١٦
51:17
كَانُواْ
Kaanoo
They used to
قَلِيلٗا
q̣aleelam
little
مِّنَ
minal
of
ٱلَّيۡلِ
layli
the night
مَا
maa-
[what]
يَهۡجَعُونَ
yahjaʻoon:
sleep
١٧
51:18
وَبِٱلۡأَسۡحَارِ
Wa-bilʹasḥaari
And in the hours before dawn
هُمۡ
hum
they
يَسۡتَغۡفِرُونَ
yastag̣firoon:
would ask forgiveness
١٨
51:19
وَفِيٓ
Wa-feee
And in
أَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ
ʹamwaalihim
their wealth
حَقّٞ
ḥaq̣q̣ul
(was the) right
لِّلسَّآئِلِ
lissaaaʹili
(of) those who asked
وَٱلۡمَحۡرُومِ
walmaḥroom.
and the deprived
١٩
51:20
وَفِي
Wa-fil
And in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
ءَايَٰتٞ
ʹAayaatul
(are) signs
لِّلۡمُوقِنِينَ
lil-Mooq̣ineen,
for those who are certain
٢٠
51:21
وَفِيٓ
Wa-feee
And in
أَنفُسِكُمۡۚ
ʹañfusikum
yourselves
أَفَلَا
ʹafalaa
Then will not
تُبۡصِرُونَ
tubṣiroon?
you see
٢١
51:22
وَفِي
Wa-fis
And in
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
samaaaʹi
the heaven
رِزۡقُكُمۡ
Rizq̣ukum
(is) your provision
وَمَا
wa-maa
and what
تُوعَدُونَ
tooʻadoon.
you are promised
٢٢
51:23
فَوَرَبِّ
Fawa-Rabbis
Then by (the) Lord
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
samaaaʹi
(of) the heaven
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ
wal-ʹarḍi
and the earth
إِنَّهُۥ
ʹinnahoo
indeed it
لَحَقّٞ
la-Ḥaq̣q̣um
(is) surely (the) truth
مِّثۡلَ
mis̤la
(just) as
مَآ
maaa
[what]
أَنَّكُمۡ
ʹannakum
you
تَنطِقُونَ
tañṭiq̣oon.
speak
٢٣
51:24
هَلۡ
Hal
Has
أَتَىٰكَ
ʹataaka
reached you
حَدِيثُ
ḥadees̤u
(the) narration
ضَيۡفِ
ḍayfi
(of the) guests
إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
ʹibraaheemal
(of) Ibrahim
ٱلۡمُكۡرَمِينَ
mukrameen?
the honored
٢٤
51:25
إِذۡ
ʹIẓ
When
دَخَلُواْ
dakhaloo
they entered
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhi
upon him
فَقَالُواْ
faq̣aaloo
and said
سَلَٰمٗاۖ
Salaamaa!
Peace
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
سَلَٰمٞ
Salaam!
Peace
قَوۡمٞ
Q̣awmum
a people
مُّنكَرُونَ
muñkaroon.

51:26
فَرَاغَ
Faraag̣a
Then he went
إِلَىٰٓ
ʹilaaa
to
أَهۡلِهِۦ
ʹahlihee
his household
فَجَآءَ
fajaaaʹa
and came
بِعِجۡلٖ
biʻijliñ
with a calf
سَمِينٖ
sameen,
fat
٢٦
51:27
فَقَرَّبَهُۥٓ
Faq̣arrabahooo
And he placed it near
إِلَيۡهِمۡ
ʹilayhim
[to] them
قَالَ
Q̣aala
he said
أَلَا
ʹalaa
Will not
تَأۡكُلُونَ
taʹkuloon?
you eat
٢٧
51:28
فَأَوۡجَسَ
Faʹawjasa
Then he felt
مِنۡهُمۡ
minhum
from them
خِيفَةٗۖ
kheefaḥ
a fear
قَالُواْ
Q̣aaloo
They said
لَا
laa-
(Do) not
تَخَفۡۖ
takhaf!
fear
وَبَشَّرُوهُ
wa-bashsharoohu
and they gave him glad tidings
بِغُلَٰمٍ
big̣ulaamin
of a son
عَلِيمٖ
ʻaleem.
learned
٢٨
51:29
فَأَقۡبَلَتِ
Faʹaq̣balatim
Then came forward
ٱمۡرَأَتُهُۥ
raʹatuhoo
his wife
فِي
fee
with
صَرَّةٖ
ṣarratiñ
a loud voice
فَصَكَّتۡ
faṣakkat
and struck
وَجۡهَهَا
wajhahaa
her face
وَقَالَتۡ
wa-q̣aalat
and she said
عَجُوزٌ
ʻajoozun
An old woman
عَقِيمٞ
ʻaq̣eem!
barren
٢٩
51:30
قَالُواْ
Q̣aaloo
They said
كَذَٰلِكِ
kaẓaaliki
Thus
قَالَ
q̣aala
said
رَبُّكِۖ
Rabbuk:
your Lord
إِنَّهُۥ
ʹinnahoo
Indeed He
هُوَ
Huwal
[He]
ٱلۡحَكِيمُ
Ḥakeemul
(is) the All-Wise
ٱلۡعَلِيمُ
ʻAleem.
the All-Knower
