وَلَقَدۡ
walaqad
And certainly
خَلَقۡنَا
khalaqna
We created
ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ
al-insana
man
وَنَعۡلَمُ
wana'lamu
and We know
مَا
ma
what
تُوَسۡوِسُ
tuwaswisu
whispers
بِهِۦ
bihi
to him
نَفۡسُهُۥۖ
nafsuhu
his soul
وَنَحۡنُ
wanahnu
and We
أَقۡرَبُ
aqrabu
(are) nearer
إِلَيۡهِ
ilayhi
to him
مِنۡ
min
than
حَبۡلِ
habli
(his) jugular vein
ٱلۡوَرِيدِ
al-waridi
(his) jugular vein

50:17
إِذۡ
idh
When
يَتَلَقَّى
yatalaqqa
receive
ٱلۡمُتَلَقِّيَانِ
al-mutalaqiyani
the two receivers
عَنِ
ani
on
ٱلۡيَمِينِ
al-yamini
the right
وَعَنِ
wa'ani
and on
ٱلشِّمَالِ
al-shimali
the left
قَعِيدٞ
qa'idun
seated
١٧
50:18
مَّا
ma
Not
يَلۡفِظُ
yalfizu
he utters
مِن
min
any
قَوۡلٍ
qawlin
word
إِلَّا
illa
but
لَدَيۡهِ
ladayhi
with him
رَقِيبٌ
raqibun
(is) an observer
عَتِيدٞ
atidun
ready
١٨
50:19
وَجَآءَتۡ
wajaat
And will come
سَكۡرَةُ
sakratu
(the) stupor
ٱلۡمَوۡتِ
al-mawti
(of) death
بِٱلۡحَقِّۖ
bil-haqi
in truth
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
مَا
ma
(is) what
كُنتَ
kunta
you were
مِنۡهُ
min'hu
[from it]
تَحِيدُ
tahidu
avoiding
١٩
50:20
وَنُفِخَ
wanufikha
And will be blown
فِي
fi
[in]
ٱلصُّورِۚ
al-suri
the trumpet
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
يَوۡمُ
yawmu
(is the) Day
ٱلۡوَعِيدِ
al-wa'idi
(of) the Warning
٢٠
50:21
وَجَآءَتۡ
wajaat
And will come
كُلُّ
kullu
every
نَفۡسٖ
nafsin
soul
مَّعَهَا
ma'aha
with it
سَآئِقٞ
saiqun
a driver
وَشَهِيدٞ
washahidun
and a witness
٢١
50:22
لَّقَدۡ
laqad
Certainly
كُنتَ
kunta
you were
فِي
fi
in
غَفۡلَةٖ
ghaflatin
heedlessness
مِّنۡ
min
of
هَٰذَا
hadha
this
فَكَشَفۡنَا
fakashafna
So We have removed
عَنكَ
anka
from you
غِطَآءَكَ
ghitaaka
your cover
فَبَصَرُكَ
fabasaruka
so your sight
ٱلۡيَوۡمَ
al-yawma
today
حَدِيدٞ
hadidun
(is) sharp
٢٢
50:23
وَقَالَ
waqala
And (will) say
قَرِينُهُۥ
qarinuhu
his companion
هَٰذَا
hadha
This
مَا
ma
(is) what
لَدَيَّ
ladayya
(is) with me
عَتِيدٌ
atidun
ready
٢٣
50:24
أَلۡقِيَا
alqiya
Throw
فِي
fi
in (to)
جَهَنَّمَ
jahannama
Hell
كُلَّ
kulla
every
كَفَّارٍ
kaffarin
disbeliever
عَنِيدٖ
anidin
stubborn
٢٤
50:25
مَّنَّاعٖ
manna'in
Forbidder
لِّلۡخَيۡرِ
lil'khayri
of good
مُعۡتَدٖ
mu'tadin
transgressor
مُّرِيبٍ
muribin
doubter
٢٥
50:26
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
Who
جَعَلَ
ja'ala
made
مَعَ
ma'a
with
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
إِلَٰهًا
ilahan
a god
ءَاخَرَ
akhara
another
فَأَلۡقِيَاهُ
fa-alqiyahu
so throw him
فِي
fi
in(to)
ٱلۡعَذَابِ
al-'adhabi
the punishment
ٱلشَّدِيدِ
al-shadidi
the severe
٢٦
50:27
۞قَالَ
qala
Will say
قَرِينُهُۥ
qarinuhu
his companion
رَبَّنَا
rabbana
Our Lord
مَآ
ma
not
أَطۡغَيۡتُهُۥ
atghaytuhu
I made him transgress
وَلَٰكِن
walakin
but
كَانَ
kana
he was
فِي
fi
in
ضَلَٰلِۭ
dalalin
error
بَعِيدٖ
ba'idin
far
٢٧
50:28
قَالَ
qala
He will say
لَا
la
(Do) not
تَخۡتَصِمُواْ
takhtasimu
dispute
لَدَيَّ
ladayya
(in) My presence
وَقَدۡ
waqad
and indeed
قَدَّمۡتُ
qaddamtu
I sent forth
إِلَيۡكُم
ilaykum
to you
بِٱلۡوَعِيدِ
bil-wa'idi
the Warning
٢٨
50:29
مَا
ma
Not
يُبَدَّلُ
yubaddalu
will be changed
ٱلۡقَوۡلُ
al-qawlu
the word
لَدَيَّ
ladayya
with Me
وَمَآ
wama
and not
أَنَا۠
ana
I Am
بِظَلَّٰمٖ
bizallamin
unjust
لِّلۡعَبِيدِ
lil'abidi
to My slaves
٢٩
50:30
يَوۡمَ
yawma
(The) Day
نَقُولُ
naqulu
We will say
لِجَهَنَّمَ
lijahannama
to Hell
هَلِ
hali
Are
ٱمۡتَلَأۡتِ
im'talati
you filled
وَتَقُولُ
wataqulu
And it will say
هَلۡ
hal
Are
مِن
min
(there) any
مَّزِيدٖ
mazidin
more
٣٠
50:31
وَأُزۡلِفَتِ
wa-uz'lifati
And will be brought near
ٱلۡجَنَّةُ
al-janatu
the Paradise
لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ
lil'muttaqina
to the righteous
غَيۡرَ
ghayra
not
بَعِيدٍ
ba'idin
far

50:32
هَٰذَا
hadha
This
مَا
ma
(is) what
تُوعَدُونَ
tu'aduna
you were promised
لِكُلِّ
likulli
for everyone
أَوَّابٍ
awwabin
who turns
حَفِيظٖ
hafizin
(and) who keeps
٣٢
50:33
مَّنۡ
man
Who
خَشِيَ
khashiya
feared
ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنَ
al-rahmana
the Most Gracious
بِٱلۡغَيۡبِ
bil-ghaybi
in the unseen
وَجَآءَ
wajaa
and came
بِقَلۡبٖ
biqalbin
with a heart
مُّنِيبٍ
munibin
returning
٣٣
50:34
ٱدۡخُلُوهَا
ud'khuluha
Enter it
بِسَلَٰمٖۖ
bisalamin
in peace
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
يَوۡمُ
yawmu
(is) a Day
ٱلۡخُلُودِ
al-khuludi
(of) Eternity
٣٤
50:35
لَهُم
lahum
For them
مَّا
ma
whatever
يَشَآءُونَ
yashauna
they wish
فِيهَا
fiha
therein
وَلَدَيۡنَا
waladayna
and with Us
مَزِيدٞ
mazidun
(is) more
٣٥
