وَمَا
Wa-maa
And not
نُرِيهِم
nureehim
We showed them
مِّنۡ
min
of
ءَايَةٍ
ʹaayatin
a Sign
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
but
هِيَ
hiya
it
أَكۡبَرُ
ʹakbaru
(was) greater
مِنۡ
min
than
أُخۡتِهَاۖ
ʹukhtihaa,
its sister
وَأَخَذۡنَٰهُم
wa-ʹakhaẓnaahum̃
and We seized them
بِٱلۡعَذَابِ
bilʻaẓaabi
with the punishment
لَعَلَّهُمۡ
laʻallahum
so that they may
يَرۡجِعُونَ
yarjiʻoon.
