وَٱلَّذِينَ

And those who

ٱللَّهِ

Allah

مَا
ma
[what]
ٱسۡتُجِيبَ
us'tujiba
response has been made to Him
لَهُۥ
lahu
response has been made to Him
حُجَّتُهُمۡ
hujjatuhum
their argument
دَاحِضَةٌ
dahidatun
(is) invalid
عِندَ
inda
with
رَبِّهِمۡ
rabbihim
their Lord
وَعَلَيۡهِمۡ
wa'alayhim
and upon them
غَضَبٞ
ghadabun
(is) wrath
وَلَهُمۡ
walahum
and for them
عَذَابٞ
adhabun
(is) a punishment
شَدِيدٌ
shadidun
severe
١٦
42:17
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
ٱلَّذِيٓ
alladhi
(is) the One Who
أَنزَلَ
anzala
(has) sent down
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
al-kitaba
the Book
بِٱلۡحَقِّ
bil-haqi
in truth
وَٱلۡمِيزَانَۗ
wal-mizana
and the Balance
وَمَا
wama
And what
يُدۡرِيكَ
yud'rika
will make you know
لَعَلَّ
la'alla
Perhaps
ٱلسَّاعَةَ
al-sa'ata
the Hour
قَرِيبٞ
qaribun
(is) near
١٧
42:18
يَسۡتَعۡجِلُ
yasta'jilu
Seek to hasten
بِهَا
biha
[of] it
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
لَا
la
(do) not
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yu'minuna
believe
بِهَاۖ
biha
in it
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
and those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
مُشۡفِقُونَ
mush'fiquna
(are) fearful
مِنۡهَا
min'ha
of it
وَيَعۡلَمُونَ
waya'lamuna
and know
أَنَّهَا
annaha
that it
ٱلۡحَقُّۗ
al-haqu
(is) the truth
أَلَآ
ala
Unquestionably
إِنَّ
inna
indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
يُمَارُونَ
yumaruna
dispute
فِي
fi
concerning
ٱلسَّاعَةِ
al-sa'ati
the Hour
لَفِي
lafi
(are) certainly in
ضَلَٰلِۭ
dalalin
error
بَعِيدٍ
ba'idin
far
١٨
42:19
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
لَطِيفُۢ
latifun
(is) Subtle
بِعِبَادِهِۦ
bi'ibadihi
with His slaves
يَرۡزُقُ
yarzuqu
He gives provision
مَن
man
(to) whom
يَشَآءُۖ
yashau
He wills
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
And He
ٱلۡقَوِيُّ
al-qawiyu
(is) the All-Strong
ٱلۡعَزِيزُ
al-'azizu
the All-Mighty
١٩
42:20
مَن
man
Whoever
كَانَ
kana
is
يُرِيدُ
yuridu
desiring
حَرۡثَ
hartha
(the) harvest
ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ
al-akhirati
(of) the Hereafter
نَزِدۡ
nazid
We increase
لَهُۥ
lahu
for him
فِي
fi
in
حَرۡثِهِۦۖ
harthihi
his harvest
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
كَانَ
kana
is
يُرِيدُ
yuridu
desiring
حَرۡثَ
hartha
(the) harvest
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
al-dun'ya
(of) the world
نُؤۡتِهِۦ
nu'tihi
We give him
مِنۡهَا
min'ha
of it
وَمَا
wama
but not
لَهُۥ
lahu
for him
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ
al-akhirati
the Hereafter
مِن
min
any
نَّصِيبٍ
nasibin
share
٢٠
42:21
أَمۡ
am
Or
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
شُرَكَٰٓؤُاْ
shurakau
(are) partners
شَرَعُواْ
shara'u
who have ordained
لَهُم
lahum
for them
مِّنَ
mina
of
ٱلدِّينِ
al-dini
the religion
مَا
ma
what
لَمۡ
lam
not
يَأۡذَنۢ
yadhan
Allah has given permission of it
بِهِ
bihi
Allah has given permission of it
ٱللَّهُۚ
al-lahu
Allah has given permission of it
وَلَوۡلَا
walawla
And if not
كَلِمَةُ
kalimatu
(for) a word
ٱلۡفَصۡلِ
al-fasli
decisive
لَقُضِيَ
laqudiya
surely it (would have) been judged
بَيۡنَهُمۡۗ
baynahum
between them
وَإِنَّ
wa-inna
And indeed
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
al-zalimina
the wrongdoers
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
عَذَابٌ
adhabun
(is a) punishment
أَلِيمٞ
alimun
painful
٢١
42:22
تَرَى
tara
You will see
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
al-zalimina
the wrongdoers
مُشۡفِقِينَ
mush'fiqina
fearful
مِمَّا
mimma
of what
كَسَبُواْ
kasabu
they earned
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
and it
وَاقِعُۢ
waqi'un
(will) befall
بِهِمۡۗ
bihim
[on] them
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
And those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
وَعَمِلُواْ
wa'amilu
and do
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
al-salihati
righteous deeds
فِي
fi
(will be) in
رَوۡضَاتِ
rawdati
flowering meadows
ٱلۡجَنَّاتِۖ
al-janati
(of) the Gardens
لَهُم
lahum
for them
مَّا
ma
(is) whatever
يَشَآءُونَ
yashauna
they wish
عِندَ
inda
with
رَبِّهِمۡۚ
rabbihim
their Lord
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
هُوَ
huwa
it
ٱلۡفَضۡلُ
al-fadlu
(is) the Bounty
ٱلۡكَبِيرُ
al-kabiru
the Great
