40:8
رَبَّنَا
Rabbanaa
Our Lord
وَأَدۡخِلۡهُمۡ
wa-ʹadkhilhum
And admit them
جَنَّٰتِ
Jannaati
(to) Gardens
عَدۡنٍ
ʻAdninil
(of) Eden
ٱلَّتِي
latee
which
وَعَدتَّهُمۡ
waʻattahum
You have promised them
وَمَن
wa-mañ
and whoever
صَلَحَ
ṣalaḥa
(was) righteous
مِنۡ
min
among
ءَابَآئِهِمۡ
ʹaabaaaʹihim
their fathers
وَأَزۡوَٰجِهِمۡ
wa-ʹazwaajihim
and their spouses
وَذُرِّيَّٰتِهِمۡۚ
wa-ẓurriyyaatihim!
and their offspring
إِنَّكَ
ʹInnaka
Indeed You
أَنتَ
ʹAñtal
You
ٱلۡعَزِيزُ
ʻAzeezul
(are) the All-Mighty
ٱلۡحَكِيمُ
Ḥakeem.
the All-Wise
٨
40:9
وَقِهِمُ
Waq̣ihimus
And protect them
ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِۚ
sayyiʹaat;
(from) the evils
وَمَن
wa-mañ
And whoever
تَقِ
taq̣is
you protect
ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ
sayyiʹaati
(from) the evils
يَوۡمَئِذٖ
Yawmaʹiẓiñ
that Day
فَقَدۡ
faq̣ad
then verily
رَحِمۡتَهُۥۚ
raḥimtah:
You have bestowed mercy on him
وَذَٰلِكَ
wa-zaalika
And that
هُوَ
huwal
[it]
ٱلۡفَوۡزُ
Fawzul
(is) the success
ٱلۡعَظِيمُ
ʻaz̤̣eem.
the great
٩
40:10
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieved
يُنَادَوۡنَ
yunaadawna
will be cried out to them
لَمَقۡتُ
lamaq̣tul
Certainly Allah's hatred
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Certainly Allah's hatred
أَكۡبَرُ
ʹakbaru
(was) greater
مِن
mim
than
مَّقۡتِكُمۡ
maq̣tikum
your hatred
أَنفُسَكُمۡ
ʹañfusakum
(of) yourselves
إِذۡ
ʹiẓ
when
تُدۡعَوۡنَ
tudʻawna
you were called
إِلَى
ʹilal
to
ٱلۡإِيمَٰنِ
ʹeemaani
the faith
فَتَكۡفُرُونَ
fatakfuroon.
and you disbelieved
١٠
40:11
قَالُواْ
Q̣aaloo
They (will) say
رَبَّنَآ
Rabbanaaa
Our Lord
أَمَتَّنَا
ʹamat
You gave us death
ٱثۡنَتَيۡنِ
tanas̤natayni
twice
وَأَحۡيَيۡتَنَا
wa-ʹaḥyaytanas̤
and You gave us life
ٱثۡنَتَيۡنِ
natayni
twice
فَٱعۡتَرَفۡنَا
faʻtarafnaa
and we confess
بِذُنُوبِنَا
biẓunoobinaa
our sins
فَهَلۡ
fahal
So is (there)
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
خُرُوجٖ
khuroojim
get out
مِّن
miñ
any
سَبِيلٖ
sabeel?
way
١١
40:12
ذَٰلِكُم
Ẓaalikum̃
That
بِأَنَّهُۥٓ
biʹannahooo
(is) because
إِذَا
ʹiẓaa
when
دُعِيَ
duʻiyal
Allah was invoked
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah was invoked
وَحۡدَهُۥ
waḥdahoo
Alone
كَفَرۡتُمۡ
kafartum,
you disbelieved
وَإِن
wa-ʹiñy
but if
يُشۡرَكۡ
yushrak
(others) were associated
بِهِۦ
bihee
with Him
تُؤۡمِنُواْۚ
tuʹminoo!
you believed
فَٱلۡحُكۡمُ
Fal-Ḥukmu
So the judgment
لِلَّهِ
lillaahil
(is) with Allah
ٱلۡعَلِيِّ
ʻAliyyil
the Most High
ٱلۡكَبِيرِ
Kabeer!
the Most Great
١٢
40:13
هُوَ
Huwal
He
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
(is) the One Who
يُرِيكُمۡ
yureekum
shows you
ءَايَٰتِهِۦ
ʹAayaatihee
His Signs
وَيُنَزِّلُ
wa-yunazzilu
and sends down
لَكُم
lakum
for you
مِّنَ
minas
from
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
samaaaʹi
the sky
رِزۡقٗاۚ
Rizq̣aa:
provision
وَمَا
wa-maa
But (does) not
يَتَذَكَّرُ
yataẓakkaru
take heed
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
مَن
mañy
(one) who
يُنِيبُ
yuneeb.
turns
١٣
40:14
فَٱدۡعُواْ
Fadʻul
So invoke
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
مُخۡلِصِينَ
mukhliṣeena
(being) sincere
لَهُ
lahud
to Him
ٱلدِّينَ
deena
(in) the religion
وَلَوۡ
wa-law
even though
كَرِهَ
karihal
dislike (it)
ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ
kaafiroon.
the disbelievers
١٤
40:15
رَفِيعُ
Rafeeʻud
Possessor of the Highest Ranks
ٱلدَّرَجَٰتِ
darajaati
Possessor of the Highest Ranks
ذُو
Ẓul
Owner (of) the Throne
ٱلۡعَرۡشِ
ʻArsh:
Owner (of) the Throne
يُلۡقِي
yulq̣ir
He places
ٱلرُّوحَ
rooḥa
the inspiration
مِنۡ
min
of
أَمۡرِهِۦ
ʹAmrihee
His Command
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
upon
مَن
mañy
whom
يَشَآءُ
yashaaaʹu
He wills
مِنۡ
min
of
عِبَادِهِۦ
ʻibaadihee
His slaves
لِيُنذِرَ
liyuñẓira
to warn
يَوۡمَ
Yawmat
(of the) Day
ٱلتَّلَاقِ
Talaaq̣,―
(of) the Meeting
١٥
40:16
يَوۡمَ
Yawma
(The) Day
هُم
hum̃
they
بَٰرِزُونَۖ
baarizoon:
come forth
لَا
laa-
not
يَخۡفَىٰ
yakhfaa
is hidden
عَلَى
ʻalal
from
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
مِنۡهُمۡ
minhum
about them
شَيۡءٞۚ
shayʹ.
anything
لِّمَنِ
Limanil
For whom
ٱلۡمُلۡكُ
Mulkul
(is) the Dominion
ٱلۡيَوۡمَۖ
Yawm?
this Day
لِلَّهِ
Lillaahil
For Allah
ٱلۡوَٰحِدِ
Waaḥidil
the One
ٱلۡقَهَّارِ
Q̣ahhaar!
the Irresistible
