رَبَّنَا
rabbana
Our Lord
وَأَدۡخِلۡهُمۡ
wa-adkhil'hum
And admit them
جَنَّٰتِ
jannati
(to) Gardens
عَدۡنٍ
adnin
(of) Eden
ٱلَّتِي
allati
which
وَعَدتَّهُمۡ
wa'adttahum
You have promised them
وَمَن
waman
and whoever
صَلَحَ
salaha
(was) righteous
مِنۡ
min
among
ءَابَآئِهِمۡ
abaihim
their fathers
وَأَزۡوَٰجِهِمۡ
wa-azwajihim
and their spouses
وَذُرِّيَّٰتِهِمۡۚ
wadhurriyyatihim
and their offspring
إِنَّكَ
innaka
Indeed You
أَنتَ
anta
You
ٱلۡعَزِيزُ
al-'azizu
(are) the All-Mighty
ٱلۡحَكِيمُ
al-hakimu
the All-Wise
٨
40:9
وَقِهِمُ
waqihimu
And protect them
ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِۚ
al-sayiati
(from) the evils
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
تَقِ
taqi
you protect
ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ
al-sayiati
(from) the evils
يَوۡمَئِذٖ
yawma-idhin
that Day
فَقَدۡ
faqad
then verily
رَحِمۡتَهُۥۚ
rahim'tahu
You have bestowed mercy on him
وَذَٰلِكَ
wadhalika
And that
هُوَ
huwa
[it]
ٱلۡفَوۡزُ
al-fawzu
(is) the success
ٱلۡعَظِيمُ
al-'azimu
the great
٩
40:10
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieved
يُنَادَوۡنَ
yunadawna
will be cried out to them
لَمَقۡتُ
lamaqtu
Certainly Allah's hatred
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Certainly Allah's hatred
أَكۡبَرُ
akbaru
(was) greater
مِن
min
than
مَّقۡتِكُمۡ
maqtikum
your hatred
أَنفُسَكُمۡ
anfusakum
(of) yourselves
إِذۡ
idh
when
تُدۡعَوۡنَ
tud'awna
you were called
إِلَى
ila
to
ٱلۡإِيمَٰنِ
al-imani
the faith
فَتَكۡفُرُونَ
fatakfuruna
and you disbelieved
١٠
40:11
قَالُواْ
qalu
They (will) say
رَبَّنَآ
rabbana
Our Lord
أَمَتَّنَا
amattana
You gave us death
ٱثۡنَتَيۡنِ
ith'natayni
twice
وَأَحۡيَيۡتَنَا
wa-ahyaytana
and You gave us life
ٱثۡنَتَيۡنِ
ith'natayni
twice
فَٱعۡتَرَفۡنَا
fa-i'tarafna
and we confess
بِذُنُوبِنَا
bidhunubina
our sins
فَهَلۡ
fahal
So is (there)
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
خُرُوجٖ
khurujin
get out
مِّن
min
any
سَبِيلٖ
sabilin
way
١١
40:12
ذَٰلِكُم
dhalikum
That
بِأَنَّهُۥٓ
bi-annahu
(is) because
إِذَا
idha
when
دُعِيَ
du'iya
Allah was invoked
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah was invoked
وَحۡدَهُۥ
wahdahu
Alone
كَفَرۡتُمۡ
kafartum
you disbelieved
وَإِن
wa-in
but if
يُشۡرَكۡ
yush'rak
(others) were associated
بِهِۦ
bihi
with Him
تُؤۡمِنُواْۚ
tu'minu
you believed
فَٱلۡحُكۡمُ
fal-huk'mu
So the judgment
لِلَّهِ
lillahi
(is) with Allah
ٱلۡعَلِيِّ
al-'aliyi
the Most High
ٱلۡكَبِيرِ
al-kabiri
the Most Great
١٢
40:13
هُوَ
huwa
He
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
(is) the One Who
يُرِيكُمۡ
yurikum
shows you
ءَايَٰتِهِۦ
ayatihi
His Signs
وَيُنَزِّلُ
wayunazzilu
and sends down
لَكُم
lakum
for you
مِّنَ
mina
from
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
al-samai
the sky
رِزۡقٗاۚ
riz'qan
provision
وَمَا
wama
But (does) not
يَتَذَكَّرُ
yatadhakkaru
take heed
إِلَّا
illa
except
مَن
man
(one) who
يُنِيبُ
yunibu
turns
١٣
40:14
فَٱدۡعُواْ
fa-id'u
So invoke
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
مُخۡلِصِينَ
mukh'lisina
(being) sincere
لَهُ
lahu
to Him
ٱلدِّينَ
al-dina
(in) the religion
وَلَوۡ
walaw
even though
كَرِهَ
kariha
dislike (it)
ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ
al-kafiruna
the disbelievers
١٤
40:15
رَفِيعُ
rafi'u
Possessor of the Highest Ranks
ٱلدَّرَجَٰتِ
al-darajati
Possessor of the Highest Ranks
ذُو
dhu
Owner (of) the Throne
ٱلۡعَرۡشِ
al-'arshi
Owner (of) the Throne
يُلۡقِي
yul'qi
He places
ٱلرُّوحَ
al-ruha
the inspiration
مِنۡ
min
of
أَمۡرِهِۦ
amrihi
His Command
عَلَىٰ
ala
upon
مَن
man
whom
يَشَآءُ
yashau
He wills
مِنۡ
min
of
عِبَادِهِۦ
ibadihi
His slaves
لِيُنذِرَ
liyundhira
to warn
يَوۡمَ
yawma
(of the) Day
ٱلتَّلَاقِ
al-talaqi
(of) the Meeting
١٥
40:16
يَوۡمَ
yawma
(The) Day
هُم
hum
they
بَٰرِزُونَۖ
barizuna
come forth
لَا
la
not
يَخۡفَىٰ
yakhfa
is hidden
عَلَى
ala
from
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
مِنۡهُمۡ
min'hum
about them
شَيۡءٞۚ
shayon
anything
لِّمَنِ
limani
For whom
ٱلۡمُلۡكُ
al-mul'ku
(is) the Dominion
ٱلۡيَوۡمَۖ
al-yawma
this Day
لِلَّهِ
lillahi
For Allah
ٱلۡوَٰحِدِ
al-wahidi
the One
ٱلۡقَهَّارِ
al-qahari
the Irresistible
