ءَامَنُكُمۡ
amanukum
I entrust you
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
with him
إِلَّا
illa
except
كَمَآ

as
أَمِنتُكُمۡ
amintukum
I entrusted you
عَلَىٰٓ
ala
with
أَخِيهِ
akhihi
his brother
مِن
min
before
قَبۡلُ
qablu
before
فَٱللَّهُ
fal-lahu
But Allah
خَيۡرٌ
khayrun
(is) the best
حَٰفِظٗاۖ
hafizan
Guardian
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
and He
أَرۡحَمُ
arhamu
(is the) Most Merciful
ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ
al-rahimina
(of) the merciful
٦٤
12:65
وَلَمَّا
walamma
And when
فَتَحُواْ
fatahu
they opened
مَتَٰعَهُمۡ
mata'ahum
their baggage
وَجَدُواْ
wajadu
they found
بِضَٰعَتَهُمۡ
bida'atahum
their merchandise
رُدَّتۡ
ruddat
returned
إِلَيۡهِمۡۖ
ilayhim
to them
قَالُواْ
qalu
They said
يَٰٓأَبَانَا
yaabana
O our father
مَا
ma
What
نَبۡغِيۖ
nabghi
(could) we desire
هَٰذِهِۦ
hadhihi
This
بِضَٰعَتُنَا
bida'atuna
(is) our merchandise
رُدَّتۡ
ruddat
returned
إِلَيۡنَاۖ
ilayna
to us
وَنَمِيرُ
wanamiru
And we will get provision
أَهۡلَنَا
ahlana
(for) our family
وَنَحۡفَظُ
wanahfazu
and we will protect
أَخَانَا
akhana
our brother
وَنَزۡدَادُ
wanazdadu
and get an increase
كَيۡلَ
kayla
measure
بَعِيرٖۖ
ba'irin
(of) a camel's (load)
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
كَيۡلٞ
kaylun
(is) a measurement
يَسِيرٞ
yasirun
easy
٦٥
12:66
قَالَ
qala
He said
لَنۡ
lan
Never
أُرۡسِلَهُۥ
ur'silahu
will I send him
مَعَكُمۡ
ma'akum
with you
حَتَّىٰ
hatta
until
تُؤۡتُونِ
tu'tuni
you give to me
مَوۡثِقٗا
mawthiqan
a promise
مِّنَ
mina
by
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
لَتَأۡتُنَّنِي
latatunnani
that surely you will bring him to me
بِهِۦٓ
bihi
that surely you will bring him to me
إِلَّآ
illa
unless
أَن
an
that
يُحَاطَ
yuhata
you are surrounded
بِكُمۡۖ
bikum
you are surrounded
فَلَمَّآ
falamma
And when
ءَاتَوۡهُ
atawhu
they had given him
مَوۡثِقَهُمۡ
mawthiqahum
their promise
قَالَ
qala
he said
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
عَلَىٰ
ala
over
مَا
ma
what
نَقُولُ
naqulu
we say
وَكِيلٞ
wakilun
(is) a Guardian
٦٦
12:67
وَقَالَ
waqala
And he said
يَٰبَنِيَّ
yabaniyya
O my sons
لَا
la
(Do) not
تَدۡخُلُواْ
tadkhulu
enter
مِنۢ
min
from
بَابٖ
babin
one gate
وَٰحِدٖ
wahidin
one gate
وَٱدۡخُلُواْ
wa-ud'khulu
but enter
مِنۡ
min
from
أَبۡوَٰبٖ
abwabin
gates
مُّتَفَرِّقَةٖۖ
mutafarriqatin
different
وَمَآ
wama
And not
أُغۡنِي
ugh'ni
I can avail
عَنكُم
ankum
you
مِّنَ
mina
against
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
مِن
min
any
شَيۡءٍۖ
shayin
thing
إِنِ
ini
Not
ٱلۡحُكۡمُ
al-huk'mu
(is) the decision
إِلَّا
illa
except
لِلَّهِۖ
lillahi
with Allah
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
upon Him
تَوَكَّلۡتُۖ
tawakkaltu
I put my trust
وَعَلَيۡهِ
wa'alayhi
and upon Him
فَلۡيَتَوَكَّلِ
falyatawakkali
let put (their) trust
ٱلۡمُتَوَكِّلُونَ
al-mutawakiluna
the ones who put trust
٦٧
12:68
وَلَمَّا
walamma
And when
دَخَلُواْ
dakhalu
they entered
مِنۡ
min
from
حَيۡثُ
haythu
where
أَمَرَهُمۡ
amarahum
ordered them
أَبُوهُم
abuhum
their father
مَّا
ma
not
كَانَ
kana
it
يُغۡنِي
yugh'ni
avail(ed)
عَنۡهُم
anhum
them
مِّنَ
mina
against
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
مِن
min
any
شَيۡءٍ
shayin
thing
إِلَّا
illa
but
حَاجَةٗ
hajatan
(it was) a need
فِي
fi
of
نَفۡسِ
nafsi
Yaqub's soul
يَعۡقُوبَ
ya'quba
Yaqub's soul
قَضَىٰهَاۚ
qadaha
which he carried out
وَإِنَّهُۥ
wa-innahu
And indeed he
لَذُو
ladhu
(was) a possessor
عِلۡمٖ
il'min
(of) knowledge
لِّمَا
lima
because
عَلَّمۡنَٰهُ
allamnahu
We had taught him
وَلَٰكِنَّ
walakinna
but
أَكۡثَرَ
akthara
most
ٱلنَّاسِ
al-nasi
(of) the people
لَا
la
(do) not
يَعۡلَمُونَ
ya'lamuna
know
٦٨
12:69
وَلَمَّا
walamma
And when
دَخَلُواْ
dakhalu
they entered
عَلَىٰ
ala
upon
يُوسُفَ
yusufa
Yusuf
ءَاوَىٰٓ
awa
he took
إِلَيۡهِ
ilayhi
to himself
أَخَاهُۖ
akhahu
his brother
قَالَ
qala
He said
إِنِّيٓ
inni
Indeed I
أَنَا۠
ana
[I] am
أَخُوكَ
akhuka
your brother
فَلَا
fala
so (do) not
تَبۡتَئِسۡ
tabta-is
grieve
بِمَا
bima
for what
كَانُواْ
kanu
they used (to)
يَعۡمَلُونَ
ya'maluna
do
