كِتَٰبٌ
kitabun
(This is) a Book
أُحۡكِمَتۡ
uh'kimat
are perfected
ءَايَٰتُهُۥ
ayatuhu
its Verses
ثُمَّ
thumma
moreover
فُصِّلَتۡ
fussilat
explained in detail
مِن
min
from (he One Who)
لَّدُنۡ
ladun
from (he One Who)
حَكِيمٍ
hakimin
(is) All-Wise
خَبِيرٍ
khabirin
All-Aware
١
11:2
أَلَّا
alla
That Not
تَعۡبُدُوٓاْ
ta'budu
you worship
إِلَّا
illa
but
ٱللَّهَۚ
al-laha
Allah
إِنَّنِي
innani
Indeed I am
لَكُم
lakum
to you
مِّنۡهُ
min'hu
from Him
نَذِيرٞ
nadhirun
a warner
وَبَشِيرٞ
wabashirun
and a bearer of glad tidings
٢
11:3
وَأَنِ
wa-ani
And that
ٱسۡتَغۡفِرُواْ
is'taghfiru
Seek forgiveness
رَبَّكُمۡ
rabbakum
(of) your Lord
ثُمَّ
thumma
and
تُوبُوٓاْ
tubu
turn in repentance
إِلَيۡهِ
ilayhi
to Him
يُمَتِّعۡكُم
yumatti'kum
He will let you
مَّتَٰعًا
mata'an
enjoy
حَسَنًا
hasanan
a good
إِلَىٰٓ
ila
for
أَجَلٖ
ajalin
a term
مُّسَمّٗى
musamman
appointed
وَيُؤۡتِ
wayu'ti
And give
كُلَّ
kulla
(to) every
ذِي
dhi
owner
فَضۡلٖ
fadlin
(of) grace
فَضۡلَهُۥۖ
fadlahu
His Grace
وَإِن
wa-in
But if
تَوَلَّوۡاْ
tawallaw
you turn away
فَإِنِّيٓ
fa-inni
then indeed I
أَخَافُ
akhafu
fear
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
alaykum
for you
عَذَابَ
adhaba
(the) punishment
يَوۡمٖ
yawmin
(of) a Great Day
كَبِيرٍ
kabirin
(of) a Great Day
٣
11:4
إِلَى
ila
To
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
مَرۡجِعُكُمۡۖ
marji'ukum
(is) your return
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
and He
عَلَىٰ
ala
(is) on
كُلِّ
kulli
every
شَيۡءٖ
shayin
thing
قَدِيرٌ
qadirun
All-Powerful
٤
11:5
أَلَآ
ala
No doubt
إِنَّهُمۡ
innahum
They
يَثۡنُونَ
yathnuna
fold up
صُدُورَهُمۡ
sudurahum
their breasts
لِيَسۡتَخۡفُواْ
liyastakhfu
that they may hide
مِنۡهُۚ
min'hu
from Him
أَلَا
ala
Surely
حِينَ
hina
when
يَسۡتَغۡشُونَ
yastaghshuna
they cover (themselves)
ثِيَابَهُمۡ
thiyabahum
(with) their garments
يَعۡلَمُ
ya'lamu
He knows
مَا
ma
what
يُسِرُّونَ
yusirruna
they conceal
وَمَا
wama
and what
يُعۡلِنُونَۚ
yu'linuna
they reveal
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed He
عَلِيمُۢ
alimun
(is) All-Knower
بِذَاتِ
bidhati
of what
ٱلصُّدُورِ
al-suduri
(is in) the breasts

۞وَمَا
wama
And not
مِن
min
any
دَآبَّةٖ
dabbatin
moving creature
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
إِلَّا
illa
but
عَلَى
ala
on
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
رِزۡقُهَا
riz'quha
(is) its provision
وَيَعۡلَمُ
waya'lamu
And He knows
مُسۡتَقَرَّهَا
mus'taqarraha
its dwelling place
وَمُسۡتَوۡدَعَهَاۚ
wamus'tawda'aha
and its place of storage
كُلّٞ
kullun
All
فِي
fi
(is) in
كِتَٰبٖ
kitabin
a Record
مُّبِينٖ
mubinin
clear
٦
11:7
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
And He
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
(is) the One Who
خَلَقَ
khalaqa
created
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ
wal-arda
and the earth
فِي
fi
in
سِتَّةِ
sittati
six
أَيَّامٖ
ayyamin
epochs
وَكَانَ
wakana
and His throne was
عَرۡشُهُۥ
arshuhu
and His throne was
عَلَى
ala
on
ٱلۡمَآءِ
al-mai
the water
لِيَبۡلُوَكُمۡ
liyabluwakum
that He might test [you]
أَيُّكُمۡ
ayyukum
which of you
أَحۡسَنُ
ahsanu
(is) best
عَمَلٗاۗ
amalan
(in) deed
وَلَئِن
wala-in
But if
قُلۡتَ
qul'ta
you say
إِنَّكُم
innakum
Indeed you
مَّبۡعُوثُونَ
mab'uthuna
(will be) resurrected
مِنۢ
min
after
بَعۡدِ
ba'di
after
ٱلۡمَوۡتِ
al-mawti
[the] death
لَيَقُولَنَّ
layaqulanna
surely would say
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَفَرُوٓاْ
kafaru
disbelieved
إِنۡ
in
This is not
هَٰذَآ
hadha
This is not
إِلَّا
illa
but
سِحۡرٞ
sih'run
a magic
مُّبِينٞ
mubinun
clear
٧
11:8
وَلَئِنۡ
wala-in
And if
أَخَّرۡنَا
akharna
We delay
عَنۡهُمُ
anhumu
from them
ٱلۡعَذَابَ
al-'adhaba
the punishment
إِلَىٰٓ
ila
for
أُمَّةٖ
ummatin
a time
مَّعۡدُودَةٖ
ma'dudatin
determined
لَّيَقُولُنَّ
layaqulunna
they will surely say
مَا
ma
What
يَحۡبِسُهُۥٓۗ
yahbisuhu
detains it
أَلَا
ala
No doubt
يَوۡمَ
yawma
(On) the Day
يَأۡتِيهِمۡ
yatihim
it comes to them
لَيۡسَ
laysa
not
مَصۡرُوفًا
masrufan
(will be) averted
عَنۡهُمۡ
anhum
from them
وَحَاقَ
wahaqa
and will surround
بِهِم
bihim
them
مَّا
ma
what
كَانُواْ
kanu
they used (to)
بِهِۦ
bihi
mock at [it]
يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ
yastahziuna
mock at [it]
٨
11:9
وَلَئِنۡ
wala-in
And if
أَذَقۡنَا
adhaqna
We give man a taste
ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ
al-insana
We give man a taste
مِنَّا
minna
(of) Mercy from Us
رَحۡمَةٗ
rahmatan
(of) Mercy from Us
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
نَزَعۡنَٰهَا
naza'naha
We withdraw it
مِنۡهُ
min'hu
from him
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
indeed he
لَيَـُٔوسٞ
layausun
(is) despairing
كَفُورٞ
kafurun
(and) ungrateful
٩
11:10
وَلَئِنۡ
wala-in
But if
أَذَقۡنَٰهُ
adhaqnahu
We give him a taste
نَعۡمَآءَ
na'maa
(of) favor
بَعۡدَ
ba'da
after
ضَرَّآءَ
darraa
hardship
مَسَّتۡهُ
massathu
(has) touched him
لَيَقُولَنَّ
layaqulanna
surely he will say
ذَهَبَ
dhahaba
Have gone
ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتُ
al-sayiatu
the evils
عَنِّيٓۚ
anni
from me
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed he
لَفَرِحٞ
lafarihun
(is) exultant
فَخُورٌ
fakhurun
(and) boastful
١٠
11:11
إِلَّا
illa
Except
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
صَبَرُواْ
sabaru
(are) patient
وَعَمِلُواْ
wa'amilu
and do
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
al-salihati
the good deeds
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
those
لَهُم
lahum
for them
مَّغۡفِرَةٞ
maghfiratun
(will be) forgiveness
وَأَجۡرٞ
wa-ajrun
and a reward
كَبِيرٞ
kabirun
great
١١
11:12
فَلَعَلَّكَ
fala'allaka
Then possibly you
تَارِكُۢ
tarikun
(may) give up
بَعۡضَ
ba'da
a part
مَا
ma
(of) what
يُوحَىٰٓ
yuha
is revealed
إِلَيۡكَ
ilayka
to you
وَضَآئِقُۢ
wadaiqun
and straitened
بِهِۦ
bihi
by it
صَدۡرُكَ
sadruka
your breast
أَن
an
because
يَقُولُواْ
yaqulu
they say
لَوۡلَآ
lawla
Why not
أُنزِلَ
unzila
is sent down
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
for him
كَنزٌ
kanzun
a treasure
أَوۡ
aw
or
جَآءَ
jaa
has come
مَعَهُۥ
ma'ahu
with him
مَلَكٌۚ
malakun
an Angel
إِنَّمَآ
innama
Only
أَنتَ
anta
you
نَذِيرٞۚ
nadhirun
(are) a warner
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
عَلَىٰ
ala
(is) on
كُلِّ
kulli
every
شَيۡءٖ
shayin
thing
وَكِيلٌ
wakilun
a Guardian

أَمۡ
am
Or
يَقُولُونَ
yaquluna
they say
ٱفۡتَرَىٰهُۖ
if'tarahu
He has fabricated it
قُلۡ
qul
Say
فَأۡتُواْ
fatu
Then bring
بِعَشۡرِ
bi'ashri
ten
سُوَرٖ
suwarin
Surahs
مِّثۡلِهِۦ
mith'lihi
like it
مُفۡتَرَيَٰتٖ
muf'tarayatin
fabricated
وَٱدۡعُواْ
wa-id'u
and call
مَنِ
mani
whoever
ٱسۡتَطَعۡتُم
is'tata'tum
you can
مِّن
min
besides Allah
دُونِ
duni
besides Allah
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
besides Allah
إِن
in
if
كُنتُمۡ
kuntum
you are
صَٰدِقِينَ
sadiqina
truthful
١٣
11:14
فَإِلَّمۡ
fa-illam
Then if not
يَسۡتَجِيبُواْ
yastajibu
they respond
لَكُمۡ
lakum
to you
فَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ
fa-i'lamu
then know
أَنَّمَآ
annama
that
أُنزِلَ
unzila
it was sent down
بِعِلۡمِ
bi'il'mi
with the knowledge of Allah
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
with the knowledge of Allah
وَأَن
wa-an
and that
لَّآ
la
(there is) no
إِلَٰهَ
ilaha
god
إِلَّا
illa
except
هُوَۖ
huwa
Him
فَهَلۡ
fahal
Then would
أَنتُم
antum
you
مُّسۡلِمُونَ
mus'limuna
(be) Muslims
١٤
11:15
مَن
man
Whoever [is]
كَانَ
kana
Whoever [is]
يُرِيدُ
yuridu
desires
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ
al-hayata
the life
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
al-dun'ya
(of) the world
وَزِينَتَهَا
wazinataha
and its adornments
نُوَفِّ
nuwaffi
We will repay in full
إِلَيۡهِمۡ
ilayhim
to them
أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ
a'malahum
(for) their deeds
فِيهَا
fiha
therein
وَهُمۡ
wahum
and they
فِيهَا
fiha
in it
لَا
la
will not be lessened
يُبۡخَسُونَ
yub'khasuna
will not be lessened
١٥
11:16
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
Those
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
(are) the ones who
لَيۡسَ
laysa
(is) not
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ
al-akhirati
the Hereafter
إِلَّا
illa
except
ٱلنَّارُۖ
al-naru
the Fire
وَحَبِطَ
wahabita
And (has) gone in vain
مَا
ma
what
صَنَعُواْ
sana'u
they did
فِيهَا
fiha
therein
وَبَٰطِلٞ
wabatilun
and (is) worthless
مَّا
ma
what
كَانُواْ
kanu
they used (to)
يَعۡمَلُونَ
ya'maluna
do
١٦
11:17
أَفَمَن
afaman
Then is he who
كَانَ
kana
is
عَلَىٰ
ala
on
بَيِّنَةٖ
bayyinatin
a clear proof
مِّن
min
from
رَّبِّهِۦ
rabbihi
his Lord
وَيَتۡلُوهُ
wayatluhu
and recites it
شَاهِدٞ
shahidun
a witness
مِّنۡهُ
min'hu
from Him
وَمِن
wamin
and before it
قَبۡلِهِۦ
qablihi
and before it
كِتَٰبُ
kitabu
(was) a Book
مُوسَىٰٓ
musa
(of) Musa
إِمَامٗا
imaman
(as) a guide
وَرَحۡمَةًۚ
warahmatan
and (as) mercy
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
Those
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yu'minuna
believe
بِهِۦۚ
bihi
in it
وَمَن
waman
But whoever
يَكۡفُرۡ
yakfur
disbelieves
بِهِۦ
bihi
in it
مِنَ
mina
among
ٱلۡأَحۡزَابِ
al-ahzabi
the sects
فَٱلنَّارُ
fal-naru
then the Fire
مَوۡعِدُهُۥۚ
maw'iduhu
(will be) his promised (meeting) place
فَلَا
fala
So (do) not
تَكُ
taku
be
فِي
fi
in
مِرۡيَةٖ
mir'yatin
doubt
مِّنۡهُۚ
min'hu
about it
إِنَّهُ
innahu
Indeed it
ٱلۡحَقُّ
al-haqu
(is) the truth
مِن
min
from
رَّبِّكَ
rabbika
your Lord
وَلَٰكِنَّ
walakinna
but
أَكۡثَرَ
akthara
most
ٱلنَّاسِ
al-nasi
(of) the people
لَا
la
(do) not
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yu'minuna
believe
١٧
11:18
وَمَنۡ
waman
And who
أَظۡلَمُ
azlamu
(is) more unjust
مِمَّنِ
mimmani
than (he) who
ٱفۡتَرَىٰ
if'tara
invents
عَلَى
ala
against
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
كَذِبًاۚ
kadhiban
a lie
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
Those
يُعۡرَضُونَ
yu'raduna
will be presented
عَلَىٰ
ala
before
رَبِّهِمۡ
rabbihim
their Lord
وَيَقُولُ
wayaqulu
and will say
ٱلۡأَشۡهَٰدُ
al-ashhadu
the witnesses
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
haulai
These (are)
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَذَبُواْ
kadhabu
lied
عَلَىٰ
ala
against
رَبِّهِمۡۚ
rabbihim
their Lord
أَلَا
ala
No doubt
لَعۡنَةُ
la'natu
(The) curse of Allah
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(The) curse of Allah
عَلَى
ala
(is) on
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
al-zalimina
the wrongdoers
١٨
11:19
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
Those who
يَصُدُّونَ
yasudduna
hinder
عَن
an
from
سَبِيلِ
sabili
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
وَيَبۡغُونَهَا
wayabghunaha
and seek (in) it
عِوَجٗا
iwajan
crookedness
وَهُم
wahum
while they
بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ
bil-akhirati
in the Hereafter
هُمۡ
hum
[they]
كَٰفِرُونَ
kafiruna
(are) disbelievers
١٩

أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
Those
لَمۡ
lam
not
يَكُونُواْ
yakunu
will be
مُعۡجِزِينَ
mu'jizina
(able to) escape
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
وَمَا
wama
and not
كَانَ
kana
is
لَهُم
lahum
for them
مِّن
min
besides
دُونِ
duni
besides
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
مِنۡ
min
any
أَوۡلِيَآءَۘ
awliyaa
protectors
يُضَٰعَفُ
yuda'afu
And will be doubled
لَهُمُ
lahumu
for them
ٱلۡعَذَابُۚ
al-'adhabu
the punishment
مَا
ma
Not
كَانُواْ
kanu
they were
يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ
yastati'una
able
ٱلسَّمۡعَ
al-sam'a
(to) hear
وَمَا
wama
and not
كَانُواْ
kanu
they used (to)
يُبۡصِرُونَ
yub'siruna
see
٢٠
11:21
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
Those
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
(are) the ones who
خَسِرُوٓاْ
khasiru
(have) lost
أَنفُسَهُمۡ
anfusahum
their souls
وَضَلَّ
wadalla
and lost
عَنۡهُم
anhum
from them
مَّا
ma
(is) what
كَانُواْ
kanu
they used
يَفۡتَرُونَ
yaftaruna
(to) invent
٢١
11:22
لَا
la
No
جَرَمَ
jarama
doubt
أَنَّهُمۡ
annahum
that they
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ
al-akhirati
the Hereafter
هُمُ
humu
[they]
ٱلۡأَخۡسَرُونَ
al-akhsaruna
(will be) the greatest losers
٢٢
11:23
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
وَعَمِلُواْ
wa'amilu
and do
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
al-salihati
good deeds
وَأَخۡبَتُوٓاْ
wa-akhbatu
and humble themselves
إِلَىٰ
ila
before
رَبِّهِمۡ
rabbihim
their Lord
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
those
أَصۡحَٰبُ
ashabu
(are the) companions
ٱلۡجَنَّةِۖ
al-janati
(of) Paradise
هُمۡ
hum
they
فِيهَا
fiha
in it
خَٰلِدُونَ
khaliduna
(will) abide forever
٢٣
11:24
۞مَثَلُ
mathalu
(The) example
ٱلۡفَرِيقَيۡنِ
al-fariqayni
(of) the two parties
كَٱلۡأَعۡمَىٰ
kal-a'ma
(is) like the blind
وَٱلۡأَصَمِّ
wal-asami
and the deaf
وَٱلۡبَصِيرِ
wal-basiri
and the seer
وَٱلسَّمِيعِۚ
wal-sami'i
and the hearer
هَلۡ
hal
Are
يَسۡتَوِيَانِ
yastawiyani
they equal
مَثَلًاۚ
mathalan
(in) comparison
أَفَلَا
afala
Then will not
تَذَكَّرُونَ
tadhakkaruna
you take heed
٢٤
11:25
وَلَقَدۡ
walaqad
And verily
أَرۡسَلۡنَا
arsalna
We sent
نُوحًا
nuhan
Nuh
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
قَوۡمِهِۦٓ
qawmihi
his people
إِنِّي
inni
Indeed I am
لَكُمۡ
lakum
to you
نَذِيرٞ
nadhirun
a warner
مُّبِينٌ
mubinun
clear
٢٥
11:26
أَن
an
That
لَّا
la
(do) not
تَعۡبُدُوٓاْ
ta'budu
worship
إِلَّا
illa
except
ٱللَّهَۖ
al-laha
Allah
إِنِّيٓ
inni
Indeed I
أَخَافُ
akhafu
[I] fear
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
alaykum
for you
عَذَابَ
adhaba
(the) punishment
يَوۡمٍ
yawmin
(of) a Day
أَلِيمٖ
alimin
painful
٢٦
11:27
فَقَالَ
faqala
So said
ٱلۡمَلَأُ
al-mala-u
the chiefs
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
(of) those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieved
مِن
min
from
قَوۡمِهِۦ
qawmihi
his people
مَا
ma
Not
نَرَىٰكَ
naraka
we see you
إِلَّا
illa
but
بَشَرٗا
basharan
a man
مِّثۡلَنَا
mith'lana
like us
وَمَا
wama
and not
نَرَىٰكَ
naraka
we see you
ٱتَّبَعَكَ
ittaba'aka
followed [you]
إِلَّا
illa
except
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
هُمۡ
hum
[they]
أَرَاذِلُنَا
aradhiluna
(are) the lowest of us
بَادِيَ
badiya
immature in opinion
ٱلرَّأۡيِ
al-rayi
immature in opinion
وَمَا
wama
And not
نَرَىٰ
nara
we see
لَكُمۡ
lakum
in you
عَلَيۡنَا
alayna
over us
مِن
min
any
فَضۡلِۭ
fadlin
merit
بَلۡ
bal
nay
نَظُنُّكُمۡ
nazunnukum
we think you
كَٰذِبِينَ
kadhibina
(are) liars
٢٧
11:28
قَالَ
qala
He said
يَٰقَوۡمِ
yaqawmi
O my people
أَرَءَيۡتُمۡ
ara-aytum
Do you see
إِن
in
if
كُنتُ
kuntu
I was
عَلَىٰ
ala
on
بَيِّنَةٖ
bayyinatin
(the) clear proof
مِّن
min
from
رَّبِّي
rabbi
my Lord
وَءَاتَىٰنِي
waatani
while He has given me
رَحۡمَةٗ
rahmatan
mercy
مِّنۡ
min
from
عِندِهِۦ
indihi
Himself
فَعُمِّيَتۡ
fa'ummiyat
but (it) has been obscured
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
alaykum
from you
أَنُلۡزِمُكُمُوهَا
anul'zimukumuha
should We compel you (to accept) it
وَأَنتُمۡ
wa-antum
while you (are)
لَهَا
laha
averse to it
كَٰرِهُونَ
karihuna
averse to it

وَيَٰقَوۡمِ
wayaqawmi
And O my people
لَآ
la
not
أَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡ
asalukum
I ask (of) you
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
for it
مَالًاۖ
malan
any wealth
إِنۡ
in
Not
أَجۡرِيَ
ajriya
(is) my reward
إِلَّا
illa
except
عَلَى
ala
from
ٱللَّهِۚ
al-lahi
Allah
وَمَآ
wama
And not
أَنَا۠
ana
I am
بِطَارِدِ
bitaridi
going to drive away
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ءَامَنُوٓاْۚ
amanu
believed
إِنَّهُم
innahum
Indeed they
مُّلَٰقُواْ
mulaqu
(will) be meeting
رَبِّهِمۡ
rabbihim
their Lord
وَلَٰكِنِّيٓ
walakinni
but I
أَرَىٰكُمۡ
arakum
see you
قَوۡمٗا
qawman
(are) a people
تَجۡهَلُونَ
tajhaluna
ignorant
٢٩
11:30
وَيَٰقَوۡمِ
wayaqawmi
And O my people
مَن
man
Who
يَنصُرُنِي
yansuruni
would help me

I drove them away

تَذَكَّرُونَ

you take heed

11:31
وَلَآ
wala
And not
أَقُولُ
aqulu
I say
لَكُمۡ
lakum
to you
عِندِي
indi
(that) with me
خَزَآئِنُ
khazainu
(are the) treasures
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
وَلَآ
wala
and not
أَعۡلَمُ
a'lamu
I know
ٱلۡغَيۡبَ
al-ghayba
the unseen
وَلَآ
wala
and not
أَقُولُ
aqulu
I say
إِنِّي
inni
that I am
مَلَكٞ
malakun
an Angel
وَلَآ
wala
and not
أَقُولُ
aqulu
I say
لِلَّذِينَ
lilladhina
for those whom
تَزۡدَرِيٓ
tazdari
look down upon
أَعۡيُنُكُمۡ
a'yunukum
your eyes
لَن
lan
never
يُؤۡتِيَهُمُ
yu'tiyahumu
will Allah give them
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
will Allah give them
خَيۡرًاۖ
khayran
any good
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
أَعۡلَمُ
a'lamu
knows best
بِمَا
bima
what
فِيٓ
fi
(is) in
أَنفُسِهِمۡ
anfusihim
their souls
إِنِّيٓ
inni
Indeed I
إِذٗا
idhan
then
لَّمِنَ
lamina
(will be) surely of
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
al-zalimina
the wrongdoers

11:32
قَالُواْ
qalu
They said
يَٰنُوحُ
yanuhu
O Nuh
قَدۡ
qad
Indeed
جَٰدَلۡتَنَا
jadaltana
you disputed with us
فَأَكۡثَرۡتَ
fa-aktharta
and you (have been) frequent
جِدَٰلَنَا
jidalana
(in) dispute with us
فَأۡتِنَا
fatina
So bring us
بِمَا
bima
what
تَعِدُنَآ
ta'iduna
you threaten us (with)
إِن
in
if
كُنتَ
kunta
you are
مِنَ
mina
of
ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
al-sadiqina
the truthful
٣٢
11:33
قَالَ
qala
He said
إِنَّمَا
innama
Only
يَأۡتِيكُم
yatikum
will bring it (on) you
بِهِ
bihi
will bring it (on) you
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
إِن
in
if
شَآءَ
shaa
He wills
وَمَآ
wama
and not
أَنتُم
antum
you (are)
بِمُعۡجِزِينَ
bimu'jizina
one who (can) escape (it)

11:34
وَلَا
wala
And (will) not
يَنفَعُكُمۡ
yanfa'ukum
benefit you
نُصۡحِيٓ
nus'hi
my advice
إِنۡ
in
(even) if
أَرَدتُّ
aradttu
I wish
أَنۡ
an
to
أَنصَحَ
ansaha
[I] advise
لَكُمۡ
lakum
[to] you
إِن
in
if
كَانَ
kana
it was Allah's
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
it was Allah's
يُرِيدُ
yuridu
will
أَن
an
to
يُغۡوِيَكُمۡۚ
yugh'wiyakum
let you go astray
هُوَ
huwa
He (is)
رَبُّكُمۡ
rabbukum
your Lord
وَإِلَيۡهِ
wa-ilayhi
and to Him
تُرۡجَعُونَ
tur'ja'una
you will be returned

11:35
أَمۡ
am
Or
يَقُولُونَ
yaquluna
(do) they say
ٱفۡتَرَىٰهُۖ
if'tarahu
He has invented it
قُلۡ
qul
Say
إِنِ
ini
If
ٱفۡتَرَيۡتُهُۥ
if'taraytuhu
I have invented it
فَعَلَيَّ
fa'alayya
then on me
إِجۡرَامِي
ij'rami
(is) my crime
وَأَنَا۠
wa-ana
but I am
بَرِيٓءٞ
barion
innocent
مِّمَّا
mimma
of what
تُجۡرِمُونَ
tuj'rimuna
crimes you commit

11:36
وَأُوحِيَ
wauhiya
And it was revealed
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
نُوحٍ
nuhin
Nuh
أَنَّهُۥ
annahu
That
لَن
lan
will never
يُؤۡمِنَ
yu'mina
believe
مِن
min
from
قَوۡمِكَ
qawmika
your people
إِلَّا
illa
except
مَن
man
(those) who
قَدۡ
qad
have already
ءَامَنَ
amana
believed
فَلَا
fala
So (do) not
تَبۡتَئِسۡ
tabta-is
(be) distressed
بِمَا
bima
by what
كَانُواْ
kanu
they have been
يَفۡعَلُونَ
yaf 'aluna
doing
٣٦
11:37
وَٱصۡنَعِ
wa-is'na'i
And construct
ٱلۡفُلۡكَ
al-ful'ka
the ship
بِأَعۡيُنِنَا
bi-a'yunina
under Our Eyes
وَوَحۡيِنَا
wawahyina
and Our inspiration
وَلَا
wala
and (do) not
تُخَٰطِبۡنِي
tukhatib'ni
address Me
فِي
fi
concerning
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ظَلَمُوٓاْ
zalamu
wronged
إِنَّهُم
innahum
indeed they (are)
مُّغۡرَقُونَ
mugh'raquna
the ones (to be) drowned

وَيَصۡنَعُ
wayasna'u
And he was constructing
ٱلۡفُلۡكَ
al-ful'ka
the ship
وَكُلَّمَا
wakullama
and every time
مَرَّ
marra
passed
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
by him
مَلَأٞ
mala-on
(the) chiefs
مِّن
min
of
قَوۡمِهِۦ
qawmihi
his people
سَخِرُواْ
sakhiru
they ridiculed
مِنۡهُۚ
min'hu
[of] him
قَالَ
qala
He said
إِن
in
If
تَسۡخَرُواْ
taskharu
you ridicule
مِنَّا
minna
us
فَإِنَّا
fa-inna
then we
نَسۡخَرُ
naskharu
can ridicule
مِنكُمۡ
minkum
you
كَمَا
kama
as
تَسۡخَرُونَ
taskharuna
you ridicule

11:39
فَسَوۡفَ
fasawfa
And soon
تَعۡلَمُونَ
ta'lamuna
you will know
مَن
man
(on) whom
يَأۡتِيهِ
yatihi
will come
عَذَابٞ
adhabun
a punishment
يُخۡزِيهِ
yukh'zihi
(that) will disgrace him
وَيَحِلُّ
wayahillu
and will descend
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
on him
عَذَابٞ
adhabun
a punishment
مُّقِيمٌ
muqimun
lasting
٣٩
11:40
حَتَّىٰٓ
hatta
Till
إِذَا
idha
when
جَآءَ
jaa
came
أَمۡرُنَا
amruna
Our command
وَفَارَ
wafara
and overflowed
ٱلتَّنُّورُ
al-tanuru
the oven
قُلۡنَا
qul'na
We said
ٱحۡمِلۡ
ih'mil
Load
فِيهَا
fiha
in it
مِن
min
of
كُلّٖ
kullin
every kind
زَوۡجَيۡنِ
zawjayni
a pair
ٱثۡنَيۡنِ
ith'nayni
two
وَأَهۡلَكَ
wa-ahlaka
and your family
إِلَّا
illa
except
مَن
man
who
سَبَقَ
sabaqa
has preceded
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
against him
ٱلۡقَوۡلُ
al-qawlu
the word
وَمَنۡ
waman
and whoever
ءَامَنَۚ
amana
believed
وَمَآ
wama
And not
ءَامَنَ
amana
believed
مَعَهُۥٓ
ma'ahu
with him
إِلَّا
illa
except
قَلِيلٞ
qalilun
a few
٤٠
11:41
۞وَقَالَ
waqala
And he said
ٱرۡكَبُواْ
ir'kabu
Embark
فِيهَا
fiha
in it
بِسۡمِ
bis'mi
in the name
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
of Allah
مَجۡر۪ىٰهَا
majraha
(is) its course
وَمُرۡسَىٰهَآۚ
wamur'saha
and its anchorage
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
رَبِّي
rabbi
my Lord
لَغَفُورٞ
laghafurun
(is) certainly Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٞ
rahimun
Most Merciful
٤١
11:42
وَهِيَ
wahiya
And it
تَجۡرِي
tajri
sailed
بِهِمۡ
bihim
with them
فِي
fi
on
مَوۡجٖ
mawjin
the waves
كَٱلۡجِبَالِ
kal-jibali
like mountains
وَنَادَىٰ
wanada
and Nuh called out
نُوحٌ
nuhun
and Nuh called out
ٱبۡنَهُۥ
ib'nahu
(to) his son
وَكَانَ
wakana
and he was
فِي
fi
[in]
مَعۡزِلٖ
ma'zilin
apart
يَٰبُنَيَّ
yabunayya
O my son
ٱرۡكَب
ir'kab
Embark
مَّعَنَا
ma'ana
with us
وَلَا
wala
and (do) not
تَكُن
takun
be
مَّعَ
ma'a
with
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
al-kafirina
the disbelievers
٤٢
11:43
قَالَ
qala
He said
سَـَٔاوِيٓ
saawi
I will betake myself
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
جَبَلٖ
jabalin
a mountain
يَعۡصِمُنِي
ya'simuni
(that) will save me
مِنَ
mina
from
ٱلۡمَآءِۚ
al-mai
the water
قَالَ
qala
He said
لَا
la
(There is) no
عَاصِمَ
asima
protector
ٱلۡيَوۡمَ
al-yawma
today
مِنۡ
min
from
أَمۡرِ
amri
the Command of Allah
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
the Command of Allah
إِلَّا
illa
except
مَن
man
(on) whom
رَّحِمَۚ
rahima
He has mercy
وَحَالَ
wahala
And came
بَيۡنَهُمَا
baynahuma
(in) between them
ٱلۡمَوۡجُ
al-mawju
the waves
فَكَانَ
fakana
so he was
مِنَ
mina
among
ٱلۡمُغۡرَقِينَ
al-mugh'raqina
the drowned
٤٣
11:44
وَقِيلَ
waqila
And it was said
يَٰٓأَرۡضُ
yaardu
O earth
ٱبۡلَعِي
ib'la'i
Swallow
مَآءَكِ
maaki
your water
وَيَٰسَمَآءُ
wayasamau
and O sky
أَقۡلِعِي
aqli'i
Withhold
وَغِيضَ
waghida
And subsided
ٱلۡمَآءُ
al-mau
the water
وَقُضِيَ
waqudiya
and was fulfilled
ٱلۡأَمۡرُ
al-amru
the Command
وَٱسۡتَوَتۡ
wa-is'tawat
And it rested
عَلَى
ala
on
ٱلۡجُودِيِّۖ
al-judiyi
the Judi
وَقِيلَ
waqila
And it was said
بُعۡدٗا
bu'dan
Away
لِّلۡقَوۡمِ
lil'qawmi
with the people
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
al-zalimina
the wrongdoers
٤٤
11:45
وَنَادَىٰ
wanada
And Nuh called
نُوحٞ
nuhun
And Nuh called
رَّبَّهُۥ
rabbahu
(to) his Lord
فَقَالَ
faqala
and said
رَبِّ
rabbi
O my Lord
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱبۡنِي
ib'ni
my son
مِنۡ
min
(is) of
أَهۡلِي
ahli
my family
وَإِنَّ
wa-inna
and indeed
وَعۡدَكَ
wa'daka
Your promise
ٱلۡحَقُّ
al-haqu
(is) true
وَأَنتَ
wa-anta
and You
أَحۡكَمُ
ahkamu
(are) the Most Just
ٱلۡحَٰكِمِينَ
al-hakimina
(of) the judges
٤٥

He said
يَٰنُوحُ
yanuhu
O Nuh
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed he
لَيۡسَ
laysa
(is) not
مِنۡ
min
of
أَهۡلِكَۖ
ahlika
your family
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
indeed [he]
عَمَلٌ
amalun
(his) deed
غَيۡرُ
ghayru
(is) other than
صَٰلِحٖۖ
salihin
righteous
فَلَا
fala
so (do) not
تَسۡـَٔلۡنِ
tasalni
ask Me
مَا
ma
(about) what
لَيۡسَ
laysa
not
لَكَ
laka
you have
بِهِۦ
bihi
of it
عِلۡمٌۖ
il'mun
any knowledge
إِنِّيٓ
inni
Indeed I
أَعِظُكَ
a'izuka
admonish you
أَن
an
lest
تَكُونَ
takuna
you be
مِنَ
mina
among
ٱلۡجَٰهِلِينَ
al-jahilina
the ignorant
٤٦
11:47
قَالَ
qala
He said
رَبِّ
rabbi
O my Lord
إِنِّيٓ
inni
Indeed I
أَعُوذُ
a'udhu
seek refuge
بِكَ
bika
in You
أَنۡ
an
that
أَسۡـَٔلَكَ
asalaka
I (should) ask You
مَا
ma
what
لَيۡسَ
laysa
not
لِي
li
I have
بِهِۦ
bihi
of it
عِلۡمٞۖ
il'mun
knowledge
وَإِلَّا
wa-illa
And unless
تَغۡفِرۡ
taghfir
You forgive
لِي
li
me
وَتَرۡحَمۡنِيٓ
watarhamni
and You have mercy on me
أَكُن
akun
I will be
مِّنَ
mina
among
ٱلۡخَٰسِرِينَ
al-khasirina
the losers
٤٧
11:48
قِيلَ
qila
It was said
يَٰنُوحُ
yanuhu
O Nuh
ٱهۡبِطۡ
ih'bit
Go down
بِسَلَٰمٖ
bisalamin
with peace
مِّنَّا
minna
from Us
وَبَرَكَٰتٍ
wabarakatin
and blessings
عَلَيۡكَ
alayka
on you
وَعَلَىٰٓ
wa'ala
and on
أُمَمٖ
umamin
the nations
مِّمَّن
mimman
from those
مَّعَكَۚ
ma'aka
with you
وَأُمَمٞ
wa-umamun
But (to other) nations
سَنُمَتِّعُهُمۡ
sanumatti'uhum
We will grant enjoyment
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
يَمَسُّهُم
yamassuhum
will touch them
مِّنَّا
minna
from Us
عَذَابٌ
adhabun
a punishment
أَلِيمٞ
alimun
painful
٤٨
11:49
تِلۡكَ
til'ka
This
مِنۡ
min
(is) from
أَنۢبَآءِ
anbai
the news
ٱلۡغَيۡبِ
al-ghaybi
(of) the unseen
نُوحِيهَآ
nuhiha
(which) We reveal
إِلَيۡكَۖ
ilayka
to you
مَا
ma
Not
كُنتَ
kunta
you were
تَعۡلَمُهَآ
ta'lamuha
knowing it
أَنتَ
anta
you
وَلَا
wala
and not
قَوۡمُكَ
qawmuka
your people
مِن
min
from
قَبۡلِ
qabli
before
هَٰذَاۖ
hadha
this
فَٱصۡبِرۡۖ
fa-is'bir
So be patient
إِنَّ
inna
indeed
ٱلۡعَٰقِبَةَ
al-'aqibata
the end
لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ
lil'muttaqina
(is) for the God fearing
٤٩
11:50
وَإِلَىٰ
wa-ila
And to
عَادٍ
adin
Aad
أَخَاهُمۡ
akhahum
(We sent) their brother
هُودٗاۚ
hudan
Hud
قَالَ
qala
He said
يَٰقَوۡمِ
yaqawmi
O my people
ٱعۡبُدُواْ
u'budu
Worship
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
مَا
ma
not
لَكُم
lakum
(is) for you
مِّنۡ
min
any
إِلَٰهٍ
ilahin
god
غَيۡرُهُۥٓۖ
ghayruhu
other than Him
إِنۡ
in
Not
أَنتُمۡ
antum
you
إِلَّا
illa
(are) but
مُفۡتَرُونَ
muf'taruna
inventors
٥٠
