Wa-minhum
And among them
مَّن

(are some) who
يَنظُرُ

إِلَيۡكَۚ
ʹilayk:
at you
أَفَأَنتَ
ʹa-faʹanta
But (can) you
تَهۡدِي
tahdil
guide
ٱلۡعُمۡيَ
ʻumya
the blind
وَلَوۡ
wa-law
even though
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they [were]
لَا
laa-
(do) not
يُبۡصِرُونَ
yubṣiroon?
see

10:44
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
لَا
la
(does) not
يَظۡلِمُ
yaz̤̣limun
wrong
ٱلنَّاسَ
naasa
the people
شَيۡـٔٗا
shayʹañw
(in) anything
وَلَٰكِنَّ
walaakin
but
ٱلنَّاسَ
nannaasa
the people
أَنفُسَهُمۡ
ʹañfusahum
wrong themselves
يَظۡلِمُونَ
yaz̤̣limoon.
wrong themselves

10:45
وَيَوۡمَ
Wa-yawma
And the Day
يَحۡشُرُهُمۡ
yaḥshuruhum
He will gather them
كَأَن
kaʹal
as if
لَّمۡ
lam
they had not remained
يَلۡبَثُوٓاْ
yalbas̤ooo
they had not remained
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
سَاعَةٗ
saaʻatam
an hour
مِّنَ
minan
of
ٱلنَّهَارِ
nahaari
the day
يَتَعَارَفُونَ
yataʻaarafoona
they will recognize each other
بَيۡنَهُمۡۚ
baynahum.
between them
قَدۡ
Q̣ad
Certainly
خَسِرَ
khasiral
(will have) lost
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَذَّبُواْ
kaẓẓaboo
denied
بِلِقَآءِ
biliq̣aaaʹil
the meeting
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(with) Allah
وَمَا
wa-maa
and not
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they were
مُهۡتَدِينَ
muhtadeen.
the guided ones
٤٥
10:46
وَإِمَّا
Wa-ʹimmaa
And whether
نُرِيَنَّكَ
nuriyannaka
We show you
بَعۡضَ
baʻḍal
some
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
(of) that which
نَعِدُهُمۡ
naʻiduhum
We promised them
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ
natawaffayannaka
We cause you to die
فَإِلَيۡنَا
faʹilaynaa
then to Us
مَرۡجِعُهُمۡ
marjiʻuhum
(is) their return
ثُمَّ
s̤ummal
then
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
شَهِيدٌ
shaheedun
(is) a Witness
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
over
مَا
maa-
what
يَفۡعَلُونَ
yafʻaloon.
they do
٤٦
10:47
وَلِكُلِّ
Wa-likulli
And for every
أُمَّةٖ
ʹummatir
nation
رَّسُولٞۖ
Rasool:
(is) a Messenger
فَإِذَا
faʹiẓaa
So when
جَآءَ
jaaaʹa
comes
رَسُولُهُمۡ
Rasooluhum
their Messenger
قُضِيَ
q̣uḍiya
it will be judged
بَيۡنَهُم
baynahum̃
between them
بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ
bilq̣isṭi
in justice
وَهُمۡ
wa-hum
and they
لَا
laa-
(will) not
يُظۡلَمُونَ
yuz̤̣lamoon.
be wronged
٤٧
10:48
وَيَقُولُونَ
Wa-yaq̣ooloona
And they say
مَتَىٰ
mataa
When
هَٰذَا
haaẓal
(will) this
ٱلۡوَعۡدُ
waʻdu
the promise (be fulfilled)
إِن
ʹiñ
if
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
you are
صَٰدِقِينَ
ṣaadiq̣een.
truthful
٤٨
10:49
قُل
Q̣ul
Say
لَّآ
laaa
Not
أَمۡلِكُ
ʹamliku
I have power
لِنَفۡسِي
linafsee
for myself
ضَرّٗا
ḍarrañw
(for) any harm
وَلَا
walaa
and not
نَفۡعًا
nafʻan
(for) any profit
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
مَا
maa-
what
شَآءَ
shaaaʹal
Allah wills
ٱللَّهُۗ
laah.
Allah wills
لِكُلِّ
Likulli
For every
أُمَّةٍ
ʹUmmatin
nation
أَجَلٌۚ
ʹajal:
(is) a term
إِذَا
ʹiẓaa
When
جَآءَ
jaaaʹa
comes
أَجَلُهُمۡ
ʹajaluhum
their term
فَلَا
falaa
then not
يَسۡتَـٔۡخِرُونَ
yastaʹkhiroona
they remain behind
سَاعَةٗ
saaʻatañw
an hour
وَلَا
walaa
and not
يَسۡتَقۡدِمُونَ
yastaq̣dimoon.
they can precede (it)

10:50
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
أَرَءَيۡتُمۡ
ʹaraʹaytum
Do you see
إِنۡ
ʹin
if
أَتَىٰكُمۡ
ʹataakum
comes to you
عَذَابُهُۥ
ʻaẓaabuhoo
His punishment
بَيَٰتًا
bayaatan
(by) night
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
نَهَارٗا
nahaaram
(by) day
مَّاذَا
maaẓaa
what (portion)
يَسۡتَعۡجِلُ
yastaʻjilu
of it would (wish to) hasten
مِنۡهُ
minhul
of it would (wish to) hasten
ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ
mujrimoon.
the criminals

10:51
أَثُمَّ
ʹAs̤umma
Is (it) then
إِذَا
ʹiẓaa
when
مَا
maa-
when
وَقَعَ
waq̣aʻa
(it had) occurred
ءَامَنتُم
ʹaamañtum̃
you (will) believe
بِهِۦٓۚ
bih?
in it
ءَآلۡـَٰٔنَ
ʹAaalʹaana
Now
وَقَدۡ
wa-q̣ad
And certainly
كُنتُم
kuñtum̃
you were
بِهِۦ
bihee
seeking to hasten it
تَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَ
tastaʻjiloon!
seeking to hasten it

10:52
ثُمَّ
S̤umma
Then
قِيلَ
q̣eela
it will be said
لِلَّذِينَ
lil-laẓeena
to those who
ظَلَمُواْ
z̤̣alamoo
wronged
ذُوقُواْ
ẓooq̣oo
Taste
عَذَابَ
ʻaẓaabal
punishment
ٱلۡخُلۡدِ
khuld!
the everlasting
هَلۡ
Hal
Are you (being) recompensed
تُجۡزَوۡنَ
tujzawna
Are you (being) recompensed
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
بِمَا
bimaa
for what
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
you used (to)
تَكۡسِبُونَ
taksiboon.
earn

10:53
۞وَيَسۡتَنۢبِـُٔونَكَ
Wa-yastambiʹoonaka
And they ask you to inform
أَحَقٌّ
ʹaḥaq̣q̣un
Is it true
هُوَۖ
hoo?
Is it true
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
إِي
ʹEe
Yes
وَرَبِّيٓ
wa-Rabbeee
by my Lord
إِنَّهُۥ
ʹinnahoo
Indeed it
لَحَقّٞۖ
laḥaq̣q̣!
(is) surely the truth
وَمَآ
Wa-maaa
and not
أَنتُم
ʹañtum
you
بِمُعۡجِزِينَ
bimuʻjizeen!
(can) escape (it)
