guides
إِلَى
ila
to
ٱلۡحَقِّۚ
al-haqi
the truth
قُلِ
quli
Say
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
يَهۡدِي
yahdi
guides
لِلۡحَقِّۗ
lil'haqqi
to the truth
أَفَمَن
afaman
Is then (he) who
يَهۡدِيٓ
yahdi
guides
إِلَى
ila
to
ٱلۡحَقِّ
al-haqi
the truth
أَحَقُّ
ahaqqu
more worthy
أَن
an
that
يُتَّبَعَ
yuttaba'a
he should be followed
أَمَّن
amman
or (he) who
لَّا
la
(does) not
يَهِدِّيٓ
yahiddi
guide
إِلَّآ
illa
unless
أَن
an
[that]
يُهۡدَىٰۖ
yuh'da
he is guided
فَمَا
fama
Then what
لَكُمۡ
lakum
(is) for you
كَيۡفَ
kayfa
how
تَحۡكُمُونَ
tahkumuna
you judge

10:36
وَمَا
wama
And not
يَتَّبِعُ
yattabi'u
follow
أَكۡثَرُهُمۡ
aktharuhum
most of them
إِلَّا
illa
except
ظَنًّاۚ
zannan
assumption
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلظَّنَّ
al-zana
the assumption
لَا
la
(does) not
يُغۡنِي
yugh'ni
avail
مِنَ
mina
against
ٱلۡحَقِّ
al-haqi
the truth
شَيۡـًٔاۚ
shayan
anything
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
عَلِيمُۢ
alimun
(is) All-Knower
بِمَا
bima
of what
يَفۡعَلُونَ
yaf 'aluna
they do
٣٦
10:37
وَمَا
wama
And not
كَانَ
kana
is
هَٰذَا
hadha
this
ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ
al-qur'anu
the Quran
أَن
an
that
يُفۡتَرَىٰ
yuf'tara
(it could be) produced
مِن
min
by
دُونِ
duni
other than Allah
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
other than Allah
وَلَٰكِن
walakin
but
تَصۡدِيقَ
tasdiqa
(it is) a confirmation
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
(of that) which
بَيۡنَ
bayna
(was) before it
يَدَيۡهِ
yadayhi
(was) before it
وَتَفۡصِيلَ
watafsila
and a detailed explanation
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
al-kitabi
(of) the Book
لَا
la
(there is) no
رَيۡبَ
rayba
doubt
فِيهِ
fihi
in it
مِن
min
from
رَّبِّ
rabbi
(the) Lord
ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
al-'alamina
(of) the worlds
٣٧
10:38
أَمۡ
am
Or
يَقُولُونَ
yaquluna
(do) they say
ٱفۡتَرَىٰهُۖ
if'tarahu
He has invented it
قُلۡ
qul
Say
فَأۡتُواْ
fatu
Then bring
بِسُورَةٖ
bisuratin
a Surah
مِّثۡلِهِۦ
mith'lihi
like it
وَٱدۡعُواْ
wa-id'u
and call
مَنِ
mani
whoever
ٱسۡتَطَعۡتُم
is'tata'tum
you can
مِّن
min
besides Allah
دُونِ
duni
besides Allah
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
besides Allah
إِن
in
if
كُنتُمۡ
kuntum
you are
صَٰدِقِينَ
sadiqina
truthful
٣٨
10:39
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
كَذَّبُواْ
kadhabu
they denied
بِمَا
bima
what
لَمۡ
lam
not
يُحِيطُواْ
yuhitu
they could encompass
بِعِلۡمِهِۦ
bi'il'mihi
(of) its knowledge
وَلَمَّا
walamma
and not
يَأۡتِهِمۡ
yatihim
has come (to) them
تَأۡوِيلُهُۥۚ
tawiluhu
its interpretation
كَذَٰلِكَ
kadhalika
Thus
كَذَّبَ
kadhaba
denied
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those
مِن
min
before them
قَبۡلِهِمۡۖ
qablihim
before them
فَٱنظُرۡ
fa-unzur
then see
كَيۡفَ
kayfa
how
كَانَ
kana
was
عَٰقِبَةُ
aqibatu
(the) end
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
al-zalimina
(of) the wrongdoers
٣٩
10:40
وَمِنۡهُم
wamin'hum
And of them
مَّن
man
(is one) who
يُؤۡمِنُ
yu'minu
believes
بِهِۦ
bihi
in it
وَمِنۡهُم
wamin'hum
and of them
مَّن
man
(is one) who
لَّا
la
(does) not
يُؤۡمِنُ
yu'minu
believe
بِهِۦۚ
bihi
in it
وَرَبُّكَ
warabbuka
And your Lord
أَعۡلَمُ
a'lamu
(is) All-Knower
بِٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ
bil-muf'sidina
of the corrupters
٤٠
10:41
وَإِن
wa-in
And if
كَذَّبُوكَ
kadhabuka
they deny you
فَقُل
faqul
then say
لِّي
li
For me
عَمَلِي
amali
(are) my deeds
وَلَكُمۡ
walakum
and for you
عَمَلُكُمۡۖ
amalukum
(are) your deeds
أَنتُم
antum
You
بَرِيٓـُٔونَ
bariuna
(are) disassociated
مِمَّآ
mimma
from what
أَعۡمَلُ
a'malu
I do
وَأَنَا۠
wa-ana
and I am
بَرِيٓءٞ
barion
disassociated
مِّمَّا
mimma
from what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
ta'maluna
you do

10:42
وَمِنۡهُم
wamin'hum
And among them
مَّن
man
(are some) who
يَسۡتَمِعُونَ
yastami'una
listen
إِلَيۡكَۚ
ilayka
to you
أَفَأَنتَ
afa-anta
But (can) you
تُسۡمِعُ
tus'mi'u
cause the deaf to hear
ٱلصُّمَّ
al-suma
cause the deaf to hear
وَلَوۡ
walaw
even though
كَانُواْ
kanu
they [were]
لَا
la
(do) not
يَعۡقِلُونَ
ya'qiluna
use reason
