ءَايَاتِنَاۚ
ʹAayaatinaa!
Our Verses
قُلِ
Q̣ulil
Say
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
أَسۡرَعُ
ʹasraʻu
(is) more swift
مَكۡرًاۚ
makraa!
(in) planning
إِنَّ
ʹInna
Indeed
رُسُلَنَا
rusulanaa
Our Messengers
يَكۡتُبُونَ
yaktuboona
write down
مَا
maa-
what
تَمۡكُرُونَ
tamkuroon!
you plot
٢١
10:22
هُوَ
Huwal
He
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee,
(is) the One Who
يُسَيِّرُكُمۡ
yusayyirukum
enables you to travel
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡبَرِّ
barri
the land
وَٱلۡبَحۡرِۖ
walbaḥr;
and the sea
حَتَّىٰٓ
ḥattaaa
until
إِذَا
ʹiẓaa
when
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
you are
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡفُلۡكِ
fulk;
the ships
وَجَرَيۡنَ
wa-jarayna
and they sail
بِهِم
bihim̃
with them
بِرِيحٖ
bireeḥiñ
with a wind
طَيِّبَةٖ
ṭayyibatiñw
good
وَفَرِحُواْ
wafariḥoo
and they rejoice
بِهَا
bihaa
therein
جَآءَتۡهَا
jaaaʹathaa
comes to it
رِيحٌ
reeḥun
a wind
عَاصِفٞ
ʻaaṣifuñw
stormy
وَجَآءَهُمُ
Wajaaaʹahumul
and comes to them
ٱلۡمَوۡجُ
mawju
the waves
مِن
miñ
from
كُلِّ
kulli
every
مَكَانٖ
makaaniñw
place
وَظَنُّوٓاْ
waz̤̣annooo
and they assume
أَنَّهُمۡ
ʹannahum
that they
أُحِيطَ
ʹuḥeeṭa
are surrounded
بِهِمۡ
bihim
with them
دَعَوُاْ
daʻa
They call
ٱللَّهَ
wullaaha
Allah
مُخۡلِصِينَ
mukhliṣeena
sincerely
لَهُ
lahud
to Him
ٱلدِّينَ
Deen:
(in) the religion
لَئِنۡ
laʹin
(saying) If
أَنجَيۡتَنَا
ʹañjaytanaa
You save us
مِنۡ
min
from
هَٰذِهِۦ
haaẓihee
this
لَنَكُونَنَّ
lanakoonanna
surely we will be
مِنَ
minash
among
ٱلشَّٰكِرِينَ
Shaakireen!
the thankful
٢٢
10:23
فَلَمَّآ
Falammaaa
But when
أَنجَىٰهُمۡ
ʹañjaahum
He saved them
إِذَا
ʹiẓaa
behold
هُمۡ
hum
They
يَبۡغُونَ
yabg̣oona
rebel
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
بِغَيۡرِ
big̣ayril
without
ٱلۡحَقِّۗ
ḥaq̣q̣!
[the] right
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhan
O mankind
ٱلنَّاسُ
naasu
O mankind
إِنَّمَا
ʹinnamaa
Only
بَغۡيُكُمۡ
bag̣yukum
your rebellion
عَلَىٰٓ
ʻalaaa
(is) against
أَنفُسِكُمۖ
ʹañfusikum
yourselves
مَّتَٰعَ
mataaʻal
(the) enjoyment
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ
Ḥayaatid
(of) the life
ٱلدُّنۡيَاۖ
dunyaa:
(of) the world
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
Then
إِلَيۡنَا
ʹilaynaa
to Us
مَرۡجِعُكُمۡ
marjiʻukum
(is) your return
فَنُنَبِّئُكُم
fanunabbiʹukum̃
and We will inform you
بِمَا
bimaa
of what
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
you used (to)
تَعۡمَلُونَ
taʻmaloon.
do

10:24
إِنَّمَا
ʹInnamaa
Only
مَثَلُ
Mas̤alul
(the) example
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ
Ḥayaatid
(of) the life
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
dunyaa
(of) the world
كَمَآءٍ
kamaaaʹin
(is) like (the) water
أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ
ʹañzalnaahu
which We sent down
مِنَ
minas
from
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
samaaaʹi
the sky
فَٱخۡتَلَطَ
fakhtalaṭa
so absorbs
بِهِۦ
bihee
[with] it
نَبَاتُ
nabaatul
(the) plants
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
(of) the earth
مِمَّا
mimmaa
from which
يَأۡكُلُ
yaʹkulun
eat
ٱلنَّاسُ
naasu
the men
وَٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمُ
wal-ʹanʻaam:
and the cattle
حَتَّىٰٓ
ḥattaaa
until
إِذَآ
ʹiẓaaa
when
أَخَذَتِ
ʹakhaẓatil
takes
ٱلۡأَرۡضُ
ʹarḍu
the earth
زُخۡرُفَهَا
zukhrufahaa
its adornment
وَٱزَّيَّنَتۡ
wazzayyanat
and is beautified
وَظَنَّ
waz̤̣anna
and think
أَهۡلُهَآ
ʹahluhaaa
its people
أَنَّهُمۡ
ʹannahum
that they
قَٰدِرُونَ
q̣aadiroona
have the power
عَلَيۡهَآ
ʻalayhaaa
over it
أَتَىٰهَآ
ʹataahaaa
comes (to) it
أَمۡرُنَا
ʹamrunaa
Our command
لَيۡلًا
laylan
(by) night
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
نَهَارٗا
nahaarañ
(by) day
فَجَعَلۡنَٰهَا
fajaʻalnaahaa
and We make it
حَصِيدٗا
ḥaṣeedañ
a harvest clean-mown
كَأَن
kaʹal
as if
لَّمۡ
lam
not
تَغۡنَ
tag̣na
it had flourished
بِٱلۡأَمۡسِۚ
bil-ʹams!
yesterday
كَذَٰلِكَ
Kaẓaalika
Thus
نُفَصِّلُ
nufaṣṣilul
We explain
ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ
ʹAayaati
the Signs
لِقَوۡمٖ
liq̣awmiñy
for a people
يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
yatafakkaroon.
who reflect
٢٤
10:25
وَٱللَّهُ
Wallaahu
And Allah
يَدۡعُوٓاْ
yadʻooo
calls
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
دَارِ
Daaris
(the) Home
ٱلسَّلَٰمِ
Salaam:
(of) the Peace
وَيَهۡدِي
wa-yahdee
and guides
مَن
mañy
whom
يَشَآءُ
yashaaaʹu
He wills
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
صِرَٰطٖ
Ṣiraaṭim
(the) straight path
مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ
Mustaq̣eem.
(the) straight path
٢٥
