۞إِنَّمَا
ʹInnamas
Only
ٱلسَّبِيلُ
sabeelu
the way (blame)
عَلَى
ʻalal
(is) on
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
يَسۡتَـٔۡذِنُونَكَ
yastaʹẓinoonaka
ask your permission
وَهُمۡ
wa-hum
while they
أَغۡنِيَآءُۚ
ʹag̣niyaaaʹ.
(are) rich
رَضُواْ
Raḍoo
They (are) satisfied
بِأَن
biʹañy
to
يَكُونُواْ
yakoonoo
be
مَعَ
maʻal
with
ٱلۡخَوَالِفِ
khawaalifi
those who stay behind
وَطَبَعَ
waṭabaʻal
and Allah sealed
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
and Allah sealed
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
[on]
قُلُوبِهِمۡ
q̣uloobihim
their hearts
فَهُمۡ
fahum
so they
لَا
laa-
(do) not
يَعۡلَمُونَ
yaʻlamoon.
know
٩٣

9:94
يَعۡتَذِرُونَ
Yaʻtaẓiroona
They will make excuses
إِلَيۡكُمۡ
ʹilaykum
to you
إِذَا
ʹiẓaa
when
رَجَعۡتُمۡ
rajaʻtum
you (have) returned
إِلَيۡهِمۡۚ
ʹilayhim.
to them
قُل
Q̣ul
Say
لَّا
laa
(Do) not
تَعۡتَذِرُواْ
taʻtaẓiroo
make excuse
لَن
lan
never
نُّؤۡمِنَ
nuʹmina
we will believe
لَكُمۡ
lakum
you
قَدۡ
q̣ad
Verily
نَبَّأَنَا
nabbaʹanal
Allah (has) informed us
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah (has) informed us
مِنۡ
min
of
أَخۡبَارِكُمۡۚ
ʹakhbaarikum:
your news
وَسَيَرَى
wa-sayaral
and Allah will see
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
and Allah will see
عَمَلَكُمۡ
ʻamalakum
your deeds
وَرَسُولُهُۥ
wa-Rasooluhoo
and His Messenger
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
Then
تُرَدُّونَ
turaddoona
you will be brought back
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
عَٰلِمِ
ʻAalimil
(the) Knower
ٱلۡغَيۡبِ
g̣aybi
(of) the unseen
وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ
washshahaadati
and the seen
فَيُنَبِّئُكُم
fayunabbiʹukum̃
then He will inform you
بِمَا
bimaa
of what
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
you used (to)
تَعۡمَلُونَ
taʻmaloon.
do
٩٤
9:95
سَيَحۡلِفُونَ
Sayaḥlifoona
They will swear
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
by Allah
لَكُمۡ
lakum
to you
إِذَا
ʹiẓañ
when
ٱنقَلَبۡتُمۡ
q̣alabtum
you returned
إِلَيۡهِمۡ
ʹilayhim
to them
لِتُعۡرِضُواْ
lituʻriḍoo
that you may turn away
عَنۡهُمۡۖ
ʻanhum.
from them
فَأَعۡرِضُواْ
Faʹaʻriḍoo
So turn away
عَنۡهُمۡۖ
ʻanhum:
from them
إِنَّهُمۡ
ʹinnahum
indeed they
رِجۡسٞۖ
rijsuñw
(are) impure
وَمَأۡوَىٰهُمۡ
wamaʹwaahum
and their abode
جَهَنَّمُ
Jahannam,―
(is) Hell
جَزَآءَۢ
jazaaaʹam
a recompense
بِمَا
bi
for what
كَانُواْ
maakaanoo
they used (to)
يَكۡسِبُونَ
yaksiboon.
earn
٩٥
9:96
يَحۡلِفُونَ
Yaḥlifoona
They swear
لَكُمۡ
lakum
to you
لِتَرۡضَوۡاْ
litarḍaw
that you may be pleased
عَنۡهُمۡۖ
ʻanhum.
with them
فَإِن
Faʹiñ
But if
تَرۡضَوۡاْ
tarḍaw
you are pleased
عَنۡهُمۡ
ʻanhum
with them
فَإِنَّ
faʹinnal
then indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
لَا
laa-
(is) not pleased
يَرۡضَىٰ
yarḍaa
(is) not pleased
عَنِ
ʻanil
with
ٱلۡقَوۡمِ
q̣awmil
the people
ٱلۡفَٰسِقِينَ
faasiq̣een.
(who are) defiantly disobedient
٩٦
9:97
ٱلۡأَعۡرَابُ
ʹAlʹaʻraabu
The bedouins
أَشَدُّ
ʹashaddu
(are) stronger
كُفۡرٗا
kufrañw
(in) disbelief
وَنِفَاقٗا
wanifaaq̣añw
and hypocrisy
وَأَجۡدَرُ
waʹajdaru
and more likely
أَلَّا
ʹallaa
that not
يَعۡلَمُواْ
yaʻlamoo
they know
حُدُودَ
ḥudooda
(the) limits
مَآ
maaa
(of) what
أَنزَلَ
ʹañzalal
Allah (has) revealed
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah (has) revealed
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
to
رَسُولِهِۦۗ
Rasoolih:
His Messenger
وَٱللَّهُ
wallaahu
And Allah
عَلِيمٌ
ʻAleemun
(is) All-Knower
حَكِيمٞ
Ḥakeem.
All-Wise
٩٧
9:98
وَمِنَ
Wa-minal
And among
ٱلۡأَعۡرَابِ
ʹAʻraabi
the bedouins
مَن
mañy
(is he) who
يَتَّخِذُ
yatṭakhiẓu
takes
مَا
maa-
what
يُنفِقُ
yuñfiq̣u
he spends
مَغۡرَمٗا
mag̣ramañw
(as) a loss
وَيَتَرَبَّصُ
wayatarabbaṣu
and he awaits
بِكُمُ
bikumud
for you
ٱلدَّوَآئِرَۚ
dawaaaʹir:
the turns (of misfortune)
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
ʻalayhim
Upon them
دَآئِرَةُ
daaaʹiratus
(will be) the turn
ٱلسَّوۡءِۗ
sawʹ:
(of) the evil
وَٱللَّهُ
wallaahu
And Allah
سَمِيعٌ
sameeʻun
(is) All-Hearer
عَلِيمٞ
ʻAleem.
All-Knower
٩٨
9:99
وَمِنَ
Wa-minal
But among
ٱلۡأَعۡرَابِ
ʹAʻraabi
the bedouins
مَن
mañy
(is he) who
يُؤۡمِنُ
yuʹminu
believes
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
in Allah
وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ
wal-Yawmil
and the Day
ٱلۡأٓخِرِ
ʹAakhiri
the Last
وَيَتَّخِذُ
Wayattakhiẓu
and takes
مَا
maa-
what
يُنفِقُ
yuñfiq̣u
he spends
قُرُبَٰتٍ
q̣urubaatin
(as) means of nearness
عِندَ
ʻiñdal
with
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
وَصَلَوَٰتِ
wa-Ṣalawaatir
and blessings
ٱلرَّسُولِۚ
Rasool.
(of) the Messenger
أَلَآ
ʹAlaaa
Behold
إِنَّهَا
ʹinnahaa
Indeed it
قُرۡبَةٞ
q̣urbatul
(is) a means of nearness
لَّهُمۡۚ
lahum:
for them
سَيُدۡخِلُهُمُ
Sayudkhiluhumul
Allah will admit them
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah will admit them
فِي
fee
to
رَحۡمَتِهِۦٓۚ
Raḥmatih:
His Mercy
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
غَفُورٞ
G̣afoorur
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٞ
Raḥeem.
Most Merciful
٩٩

9:100
وَٱلسَّٰبِقُونَ
Was-saabiq̣oonal
And the forerunners
ٱلۡأَوَّلُونَ
ʹAwwaloona
the first
مِنَ
minal
among
ٱلۡمُهَٰجِرِينَ
Muhaajireena
the emigrants
وَٱلۡأَنصَارِ
wal-ʹAñṣaari
and the helpers
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wallaẓeenat
and those who
ٱتَّبَعُوهُم
tabaʻoohum̃
followed them
بِإِحۡسَٰنٖ
biʹiḥsaanir
in righteousness
رَّضِيَ
raḍiyal
Allah is pleased
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah is pleased
عَنۡهُمۡ
ʻanhum
with them
وَرَضُواْ
wa-raḍoo
and they are pleased
عَنۡهُ
ʻanhu
with Him
وَأَعَدَّ
wa-ʹaʻadda
And He has prepared
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
جَنَّٰتٖ
Jannaatiñ
Gardens
تَجۡرِي
tajree
flows
تَحۡتَهَا
taḥtahal
underneath it
ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ
ʹanhaaru
the rivers
خَٰلِدِينَ
khaalideena
will abide
فِيهَآ
feehaaa
in it
أَبَدٗاۚ
ʹabadaa:
forever
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalikal
That
ٱلۡفَوۡزُ
fawzul
(is) the success
ٱلۡعَظِيمُ
ʻAz̤̣eem.
the great
١٠٠
9:101
وَمِمَّنۡ
Wa-mimman
And among those
حَوۡلَكُم
ḥawlakum
around you
مِّنَ
minal
of
ٱلۡأَعۡرَابِ
ʹAʻraabi
the bedouins
مُنَٰفِقُونَۖ
Munaafiq̣oon.
(are) hypocrites
وَمِنۡ
Wa-min
and (also) from
أَهۡلِ
ʹahlil
people
ٱلۡمَدِينَةِ
Madeenati
(of) the Madinah
مَرَدُواْ
maradoo
They persist
عَلَى
ʻalan
in
ٱلنِّفَاقِ
nifaaq̣:
the hypocrisy
لَا
laa-
not
تَعۡلَمُهُمۡۖ
taʻlamuhum:
you know them
نَحۡنُ
naḥnu
We
نَعۡلَمُهُمۡۚ
naʻlamuhum:
[We] know them
سَنُعَذِّبُهُم
sanuʻaẓẓibuhum
We will punish them
مَّرَّتَيۡنِ
marratayni
twice
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
يُرَدُّونَ
yuraddoona
they will be returned
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
عَذَابٍ
ʻaẓaabin
a punishment
عَظِيمٖ
ʻAz̤̣eem.
great
١٠١
9:102
وَءَاخَرُونَ
Wa-ʹaakharoo
And others
ٱعۡتَرَفُواْ
naʻtarafoo
(who have) acknowledged
بِذُنُوبِهِمۡ
biẓunoobihim
their sins
خَلَطُواْ
khalaṭoo
They had mixed
عَمَلٗا
ʻamalañ
a deed
صَٰلِحٗا
ṣaaliḥañw
righteous
وَءَاخَرَ
waʹaakhara
(with) other
سَيِّئًا
sayyiʹaa.
(that was) evil
عَسَى
ʻAsal
Perhaps
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
أَن
ʹañy
[that]
يَتُوبَ
yatooba
will turn (in mercy)
عَلَيۡهِمۡۚ
ʻalayhim;
to them
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
غَفُورٞ
G̣afoorur
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٌ
Raḥeem.
Most Merciful
١٠٢
9:103
خُذۡ
Khuẓ
Take
مِنۡ
min
from
أَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ
ʹamwaalihim
their wealth
صَدَقَةٗ
ṣadaq̣atañ
a charity
تُطَهِّرُهُمۡ
tuṭahhiruhum
purifying them
وَتُزَكِّيهِم
wa-tuzakkeehim̃
and cause them increase
بِهَا
bihaa
by it
وَصَلِّ
waṣalli
and bless
عَلَيۡهِمۡۖ
ʻalayhim.
[upon] them
إِنَّ
ʹInna
Indeed
صَلَوٰتَكَ
ṣalaataka
your blessings
سَكَنٞ
sakanul
(are a) reassurance
لَّهُمۡۗ
lahum:
for them
وَٱللَّهُ
wallaahu
And Allah
سَمِيعٌ
Sameeʻun
(is) All-Hearer
عَلِيمٌ
ʻAleem.
All-Knower
١٠٣
9:104
أَلَمۡ
ʹAlam
Do not
يَعۡلَمُوٓاْ
yaʻlamooo
they know
أَنَّ
ʹannal
that
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
هُوَ
Huwa
(is) He
يَقۡبَلُ
yaq̣balut
(Who) accepts
ٱلتَّوۡبَةَ
TAWBATA
the repentance
عَنۡ
ʻan
from
عِبَادِهِۦ
ʻibaadihee
His slaves
وَيَأۡخُذُ
wa-yaʹkhuẓuṣ
and takes
ٱلصَّدَقَٰتِ
ṣadaq̣aati
the charities
وَأَنَّ
wa-ʹannal
and that
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
هُوَ
Huwat
He
ٱلتَّوَّابُ
Tawwaabur
(is) the Acceptor of repentance
ٱلرَّحِيمُ
Raḥeem.
the Most Merciful
١٠٤
9:105
وَقُلِ
Wa-q̣ul
And say
ٱعۡمَلُواْ
iʻmaloo
Do
فَسَيَرَى
fasayaral
then Allah will see
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
then Allah will see
عَمَلَكُمۡ
ʻamalakum
your deed
وَرَسُولُهُۥ
wa-Rasooluhoo
and His Messenger
وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَۖ
wal-Muʹminoon:
and the believers
وَسَتُرَدُّونَ
wa-saturaddoona
And you will be brought back
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
عَٰلِمِ
ʻAalimil
(the) Knower
ٱلۡغَيۡبِ
g̣aybi
(of) the unseen
وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ
washshahaadati
and the seen
فَيُنَبِّئُكُم
fayunabbiʹukum̃
then He will inform you
بِمَا
bimaa
of what
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
you used (to)
تَعۡمَلُونَ
taʻmaloon.
do
١٠٥
9:106
وَءَاخَرُونَ
Wa-ʹaakharoona
And others
مُرۡجَوۡنَ
murjawna
deferred
لِأَمۡرِ
liʹamril
for the Command of Allah
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
for the Command of Allah
إِمَّا
ʹimmaa
whether
يُعَذِّبُهُمۡ
yuʻaẓẓibuhum
He will punish them
وَإِمَّا
wa-ʹimmaa
or
يَتُوبُ
yatoobu
He will turn (in mercy)
عَلَيۡهِمۡۗ
ʻalayhim:
to them
وَٱللَّهُ
wallaahu
And Allah
عَلِيمٌ
ʻAleemun
(is) All-Knower
حَكِيمٞ
Ḥakeem.
All-Wise

وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeenat
And those who
ٱتَّخَذُواْ
takhaẓoo
take
مَسۡجِدٗا
masjidañ
a masjid
ضِرَارٗا
ḍiraarañw
(for causing) harm
وَكُفۡرٗا
wakufrañw
and (for) disbelief
وَتَفۡرِيقَۢا
watafreeq̣am
and (for) division
بَيۡنَ
baynal
among
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
Muʹmineena
the believers
وَإِرۡصَادٗا
wa-ʹirṣaadal
and (as) a station
لِّمَنۡ
liman
for whoever
حَارَبَ
ḥaarabal
warred
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
(against) Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥ
wa-Rasoolahoo
and His Messenger
مِن
miñ
before
قَبۡلُۚ
q̣abl.
before
وَلَيَحۡلِفُنَّ
Wa-la-yaḥlifunna
And surely they will swear
إِنۡ
ʹin
Not
أَرَدۡنَآ
ʹaradnaaa
we wish
إِلَّا
ʹillal
except
ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰۖ
ḥusnaa;
the good
وَٱللَّهُ
wallaahu
But Allah
يَشۡهَدُ
yashhadu
bears witness
إِنَّهُمۡ
ʹinnahum
indeed they
لَكَٰذِبُونَ
lakaaẓiboon.
(are) surely liars
١٠٧
9:108
لَا
Laa-
(Do) not
تَقُمۡ
taq̣um
stand
فِيهِ
feehi
in it
أَبَدٗاۚ
ʹabadaa.
ever
لَّمَسۡجِدٌ
Lamasjidun
A masjid
أُسِّسَ
ʹussisa
founded
عَلَى
ʻalat
on
ٱلتَّقۡوَىٰ
taq̣waa
the righteousness
مِنۡ
min
from
أَوَّلِ
ʹawwali
(the) first
يَوۡمٍ
yawmin
day
أَحَقُّ
ʹaḥaq̣q̣u
(is) more worthy
أَن
ʹañ
that
تَقُومَ
taq̣ooma
you stand
فِيهِۚ
feeh.
in it
فِيهِ
Feehi
Within it
رِجَالٞ
rijaaluñy
(are) men
يُحِبُّونَ
yuḥibboona
who love
أَن
ʹañy
to
يَتَطَهَّرُواْۚ
yataṭahharoo,
purify themselves
وَٱللَّهُ
wallaahu
and Allah
يُحِبُّ
yuḥibbul
loves
ٱلۡمُطَّهِّرِينَ
Muṭṭahhireen.
the ones who purify themselves
١٠٨
9:109
أَفَمَنۡ
ʹAfaman
Then is (one) who
أَسَّسَ
ʹassasa
founded
بُنۡيَٰنَهُۥ
bunyaanahoo
his building
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
on
تَقۡوَىٰ
taq̣waa
righteousness
مِنَ
minal
from
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
وَرِضۡوَٰنٍ
wa-Riḍwaanin
and (His) pleasure
خَيۡرٌ
khayrun
better
أَم
ʹam
or
مَّنۡ
man
(one) who
أَسَّسَ
assasa
founded
بُنۡيَٰنَهُۥ
bunyaanahoo
his building
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
on
شَفَا
shafaa
edge
جُرُفٍ
jurufin
(of) a cliff
هَارٖ
haariñ
(about to) collapse
فَٱنۡهَارَ
fanhaara
so it collapsed
بِهِۦ
bihee
with him
فِي
fee
in
نَارِ
naari
(the) Fire
جَهَنَّمَۗ
Jahannam.
(of) Hell
وَٱللَّهُ
Wallaahu
And Allah
لَا
laa-
(does) not
يَهۡدِي
yahdil
guide
ٱلۡقَوۡمَ
q̣awmaz̤̣
the wrongdoing people
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
z̤̣aalimeen.
the wrongdoing people
١٠٩
9:110
لَا
Laa-
Not
يَزَالُ
yazaalu
(will) cease
بُنۡيَٰنُهُمُ
bunyaanuhumul
their building
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
which
بَنَوۡاْ
banaw
they built
رِيبَةٗ
reebatañ
a (cause of) doubt
فِي
fee
in
قُلُوبِهِمۡ
q̣uloobihim
their hearts
إِلَّآ
ʹillaaa
except
أَن
ʹañ
that
تَقَطَّعَ
taq̣aṭṭaʻa
(are) cut into pieces
قُلُوبُهُمۡۗ
q̣uloobuhum.
their hearts
وَٱللَّهُ
Wal-laahu
And Allah
عَلِيمٌ
ʻAleemun
(is) All-Knower
حَكِيمٌ
Ḥakeem.
All-Wise
١١٠
9:111
۞إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laahash
Allah
ٱشۡتَرَىٰ
taraa
(has) purchased
مِنَ
minal
from
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
Muʹmineena
the believers
أَنفُسَهُمۡ
ʹañfusahum
their lives
وَأَمۡوَٰلَهُم
wa-ʹamwaalahum
and their wealth
بِأَنَّ
biʹanna
because
لَهُمُ
lahumul
for them
ٱلۡجَنَّةَۚ
Jannah:
(is) Paradise
يُقَٰتِلُونَ
yuq̣aatiloona
They fight
فِي
fee
in
سَبِيلِ
Sabeelil
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
فَيَقۡتُلُونَ
fayaq̣tuloona
they slay
وَيُقۡتَلُونَۖ
wa-yuq̣taloon:
and they are slain
وَعۡدًا
waʻdan
A promise
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhi
upon Him
حَقّٗا
Ḥaq̣q̣añ
true
فِي
fit
in
ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةِ
Tawraati
the Taurat
وَٱلۡإِنجِيلِ
wal-ʹIñjeeli
and the Injeel
وَٱلۡقُرۡءَانِۚ
wal-Q̣urʹaan:
and the Quran
وَمَنۡ
wa-man
And who
أَوۡفَىٰ
ʹawfaa
(is) more faithful
بِعَهۡدِهِۦ
biʻAhdihee
to his promise
مِنَ
minal
than
ٱللَّهِۚ
laahi
Allah
فَٱسۡتَبۡشِرُواْ
fastabshiroo
So rejoice
بِبَيۡعِكُمُ
bibayʻikumul
in your transaction
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
which
بَايَعۡتُم
baayaʻtum̃
you have contracted
بِهِۦۚ
bih:
[with it]
وَذَٰلِكَ
waẓaalika
And that
هُوَ
huwal
it
ٱلۡفَوۡزُ
fawzul
(is) the success
ٱلۡعَظِيمُ
ʻaz̤̣eem.
the great

9:112
ٱلتَّٰٓئِبُونَ
ʹAt-Taaaʹiboonal
Those who turn in repentance
ٱلۡعَٰبِدُونَ
ʻaabidoonal
those who worship
ٱلۡحَٰمِدُونَ
ḥaamidoonas
those who praise
ٱلسَّٰٓئِحُونَ
saaaʹiḥoonar
those who go out
ٱلرَّٰكِعُونَ
raakiʻoonas
those who bow down
ٱلسَّٰجِدُونَ
saajidoonal
those who prostrate
ٱلۡأٓمِرُونَ
ʹaamiroona
those who enjoin
بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ
bilmaʻroofi
the right
وَٱلنَّاهُونَ
wannaahoona
and those who forbid
عَنِ
ʻanil
[on]
ٱلۡمُنكَرِ
muñkari
the wrong
وَٱلۡحَٰفِظُونَ
walḥaafiz̤̣oona
and those who observe
لِحُدُودِ
liḥudoodil
(the) limits
ٱللَّهِۗ
laah.
(of) Allah
وَبَشِّرِ
Wa-bashshiril
And give glad tidings
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
Muʹmineen.
(to) the believers
١١٢
9:113
مَا
Maa-
Not
كَانَ
kaana
(it) is
لِلنَّبِيِّ
lin-Nabiyyi
for the Prophet
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wallaẓeena
and those who
ءَامَنُوٓاْ
ʹaamanooo
believe
أَن
ʹañy
that
يَسۡتَغۡفِرُواْ
yastag̣firoo
they ask forgiveness
لِلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ
lil-Mushrikeena
for the polytheists
وَلَوۡ
wa-law
even though
كَانُوٓاْ
kaanooo
they be
أُوْلِي
ʹulee
near of kin
قُرۡبَىٰ
q̣urbaa
near of kin
مِنۢ
mim
after
بَعۡدِ
baʻdi
after
مَا
maa-
[what]
تَبَيَّنَ
tabayyana
has become clear
لَهُمۡ
lahum
to them
أَنَّهُمۡ
ʹannahum
that they
أَصۡحَٰبُ
ʹaṣḥaabul
(are the) companions
ٱلۡجَحِيمِ
Jaḥeem.
(of) the Hellfire
١١٣
9:114
وَمَا
Wa-maa
And not
كَانَ
kaanas
was
ٱسۡتِغۡفَارُ
tig̣faaru
(the) asking of forgiveness
إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
ʹIbraaheema
(by) Ibrahim
لِأَبِيهِ
liʹabeehi
for his father
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
عَن
ʻam
because
مَّوۡعِدَةٖ
mawʻidatiñw
(of) a promise
وَعَدَهَآ
waʻadahaaa
he had promised it
إِيَّاهُ
ʹiyyaah.
(to) him
فَلَمَّا
Falammaa
But when
تَبَيَّنَ
tabayyana
it became clear
لَهُۥٓ
lahooo
to him
أَنَّهُۥ
ʹannahoo
that he
عَدُوّٞ
ʻaduwwul
(was) an enemy
لِّلَّهِ
lillaahi
to Allah
تَبَرَّأَ
tabarraʹa
he disassociated
مِنۡهُۚ
minh:
from him
إِنَّ
ʹinna
Indeed
إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
ʹIbraaheema
Ibrahim
لَأَوَّٰهٌ
laʹawwaahun
(was) compassionate
حَلِيمٞ
ḥaleem.
forbearing
١١٤
9:115
وَمَا
Wa-maa
And not
كَانَ
kaanal
is
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
(for) Allah
لِيُضِلَّ
liyuḍilla
that He lets go astray
قَوۡمَۢا
q̣awmam
a people
بَعۡدَ
baʻda
after
إِذۡ
ʹiẓ
[when]
هَدَىٰهُمۡ
hadaahum
He has guided them
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattaa
until
يُبَيِّنَ
yubayyina
He makes clear
لَهُم
lahum
to them
مَّا
maa
what
يَتَّقُونَۚ
yattaq̣oon,―
they should fear
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
بِكُلِّ
bikulli
(of) every
شَيۡءٍ
shayʹin
thing
عَلِيمٌ
ʻAleem.
(is) All-Knower
١١٥
9:116
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
لَهُۥ
lahoo
to Him (belongs)
مُلۡكُ
mulkus
the dominion
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaati
(of) the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ
wal-ʹarḍ.
and the earth
يُحۡيِۦ
Yuḥyee
He gives life
وَيُمِيتُۚ
wa-yumeet.
and He causes death
وَمَا
Wa-maa
And not
لَكُم
lakum
for you
مِّن
miñ
besides Allah
دُونِ
doonil
besides Allah
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
besides Allah
مِن
miñw
any
وَلِيّٖ
waliyyiñw
protector
وَلَا
walaa
and not
نَصِيرٖ
naṣeer.
any helper
١١٦
9:117
لَّقَد
Laq̣at
Verily
تَّابَ
taabal
Allah turned (in mercy)
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah turned (in mercy)
عَلَى
ʻalan
to
ٱلنَّبِيِّ
Nabiyyi
the Prophet
وَٱلۡمُهَٰجِرِينَ
wal-Muhaajireena
and the emigrants
وَٱلۡأَنصَارِ
wal-ʹAñṣaaril
and the helpers
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeenat
[those] who
ٱتَّبَعُوهُ
tabaʻoohu
followed him
فِي
fee
in
سَاعَةِ
saaʻatil
(the) hour
ٱلۡعُسۡرَةِ
ʻusrati
(of) difficulty
مِنۢ
mim
after
بَعۡدِ
baʻdi
after
مَا
maa-
[what]
كَادَ
kaada
had nearly
يَزِيغُ
yazeeg̣u
deviated
قُلُوبُ
q̣uloobu
(the) hearts
فَرِيقٖ
fareeq̣im
(of) a party
مِّنۡهُمۡ
minhum
of them
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
تَابَ
taaba
He turned (in mercy)
عَلَيۡهِمۡۚ
ʻalayhim:
to them
إِنَّهُۥ
ʹinnahoo
Indeed He
بِهِمۡ
bihim
to them
رَءُوفٞ
Raʹoofur
(is) Most Kind
رَّحِيمٞ
Raḥeem.
Most Merciful
