۞إِنَّمَا
innama
Only
ٱلسَّبِيلُ
al-sabilu
the way (blame)
عَلَى
ala
(is) on
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
يَسۡتَـٔۡذِنُونَكَ
yastadhinunaka
ask your permission
وَهُمۡ
wahum
while they
أَغۡنِيَآءُۚ
aghniyau
(are) rich
رَضُواْ
radu
They (are) satisfied
بِأَن
bi-an
to
يَكُونُواْ
yakunu
be
مَعَ
ma'a
with
ٱلۡخَوَالِفِ
al-khawalifi
those who stay behind
وَطَبَعَ
wataba'a
and Allah sealed
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
and Allah sealed
عَلَىٰ
ala
[on]
قُلُوبِهِمۡ
qulubihim
their hearts
فَهُمۡ
fahum
so they
لَا
la
(do) not
يَعۡلَمُونَ
ya'lamuna
know

9:94
يَعۡتَذِرُونَ
ya'tadhiruna
They will make excuses
إِلَيۡكُمۡ
ilaykum
to you
إِذَا
idha
when
رَجَعۡتُمۡ
raja'tum
you (have) returned
إِلَيۡهِمۡۚ
ilayhim
to them
قُل
qul
Say
لَّا
la
(Do) not
تَعۡتَذِرُواْ
ta'tadhiru
make excuse
لَن
lan
never
نُّؤۡمِنَ
nu'mina
we will believe
لَكُمۡ
lakum
you
قَدۡ
qad
Verily
نَبَّأَنَا
nabba-ana
Allah (has) informed us
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah (has) informed us
مِنۡ
min
of
أَخۡبَارِكُمۡۚ
akhbarikum
your news
وَسَيَرَى
wasayara
and Allah will see
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
and Allah will see
عَمَلَكُمۡ
amalakum
your deeds
وَرَسُولُهُۥ
warasuluhu
and His Messenger
ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
تُرَدُّونَ
turadduna
you will be brought back
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
عَٰلِمِ
alimi
(the) Knower
ٱلۡغَيۡبِ
al-ghaybi
(of) the unseen
وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ
wal-shahadati
and the seen
فَيُنَبِّئُكُم
fayunabbi-ukum
then He will inform you
بِمَا
bima
of what
كُنتُمۡ
kuntum
you used (to)
تَعۡمَلُونَ
ta'maluna
do
٩٤
9:95
سَيَحۡلِفُونَ
sayahlifuna
They will swear
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
by Allah
لَكُمۡ
lakum
to you
إِذَا
idha
when
ٱنقَلَبۡتُمۡ
inqalabtum
you returned
إِلَيۡهِمۡ
ilayhim
to them
لِتُعۡرِضُواْ
litu'ridu
that you may turn away
عَنۡهُمۡۖ
anhum
from them
فَأَعۡرِضُواْ
fa-a'ridu
So turn away
عَنۡهُمۡۖ
anhum
from them
إِنَّهُمۡ
innahum
indeed they
رِجۡسٞۖ
rij'sun
(are) impure
وَمَأۡوَىٰهُمۡ
wamawahum
and their abode
جَهَنَّمُ
jahannamu
(is) Hell
جَزَآءَۢ
jazaan
a recompense
بِمَا
bima
for what
كَانُواْ
kanu
they used (to)
يَكۡسِبُونَ
yaksibuna
earn
٩٥
9:96
يَحۡلِفُونَ
yahlifuna
They swear
لَكُمۡ
lakum
to you
لِتَرۡضَوۡاْ
litardaw
that you may be pleased
عَنۡهُمۡۖ
anhum
with them
فَإِن
fa-in
But if
تَرۡضَوۡاْ
tardaw
you are pleased
عَنۡهُمۡ
anhum
with them
فَإِنَّ
fa-inna
then indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
لَا
la
(is) not pleased
يَرۡضَىٰ
yarda
(is) not pleased
عَنِ
ani
with
ٱلۡقَوۡمِ
al-qawmi
the people
ٱلۡفَٰسِقِينَ
al-fasiqina
(who are) defiantly disobedient
٩٦
9:97
ٱلۡأَعۡرَابُ
al-a'rabu
The bedouins
أَشَدُّ
ashaddu
(are) stronger
كُفۡرٗا
kuf'ran
(in) disbelief
وَنِفَاقٗا
wanifaqan
and hypocrisy
وَأَجۡدَرُ
wa-ajdaru
and more likely
أَلَّا
alla
that not
يَعۡلَمُواْ
ya'lamu
they know
حُدُودَ
hududa
(the) limits
مَآ
ma
(of) what
أَنزَلَ
anzala
Allah (has) revealed
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah (has) revealed
عَلَىٰ
ala
to
رَسُولِهِۦۗ
rasulihi
His Messenger
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
عَلِيمٌ
alimun
(is) All-Knower
حَكِيمٞ
hakimun
All-Wise
٩٧
9:98
وَمِنَ
wamina
And among
ٱلۡأَعۡرَابِ
al-a'rabi
the bedouins
مَن
man
(is he) who
يَتَّخِذُ
yattakhidhu
takes
مَا
ma
what
يُنفِقُ
yunfiqu
he spends
مَغۡرَمٗا
maghraman
(as) a loss
وَيَتَرَبَّصُ
wayatarabbasu
and he awaits
بِكُمُ
bikumu
for you
ٱلدَّوَآئِرَۚ
al-dawaira
the turns (of misfortune)
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
alayhim
Upon them
دَآئِرَةُ
dairatu
(will be) the turn
ٱلسَّوۡءِۗ
al-sawi
(of) the evil
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
سَمِيعٌ
sami'un
(is) All-Hearer
عَلِيمٞ
alimun
All-Knower
٩٨
9:99
وَمِنَ
wamina
But among
ٱلۡأَعۡرَابِ
al-a'rabi
the bedouins
مَن
man
(is he) who
يُؤۡمِنُ
yu'minu
believes
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
in Allah
وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ
wal-yawmi
and the Day
ٱلۡأٓخِرِ
al-akhiri
the Last
وَيَتَّخِذُ
wayattakhidhu
and takes
مَا
ma
what
يُنفِقُ
yunfiqu
he spends
قُرُبَٰتٍ
qurubatin
(as) means of nearness
عِندَ
inda
with
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
وَصَلَوَٰتِ
wasalawati
and blessings
ٱلرَّسُولِۚ
al-rasuli
(of) the Messenger
أَلَآ
ala
Behold
إِنَّهَا
innaha
Indeed it
قُرۡبَةٞ
qur'batun
(is) a means of nearness
لَّهُمۡۚ
lahum
for them
سَيُدۡخِلُهُمُ
sayud'khiluhumu
Allah will admit them
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah will admit them
فِي
fi
to
رَحۡمَتِهِۦٓۚ
rahmatihi
His Mercy
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
غَفُورٞ
ghafurun
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٞ
rahimun
Most Merciful
٩٩

9:100
وَٱلسَّٰبِقُونَ
wal-sabiquna
And the forerunners
ٱلۡأَوَّلُونَ
al-awaluna
the first
مِنَ
mina
among
ٱلۡمُهَٰجِرِينَ
al-muhajirina
the emigrants
وَٱلۡأَنصَارِ
wal-ansari
and the helpers
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
and those who
ٱتَّبَعُوهُم
ittaba'uhum
followed them
بِإِحۡسَٰنٖ
bi-ih'sanin
in righteousness
رَّضِيَ
radiya
Allah is pleased
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah is pleased
عَنۡهُمۡ
anhum
with them
وَرَضُواْ
waradu
and they are pleased
عَنۡهُ
anhu
with Him
وَأَعَدَّ
wa-a'adda
And He has prepared
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
جَنَّٰتٖ
jannatin
Gardens
تَجۡرِي
tajri
flows
تَحۡتَهَا
tahtaha
underneath it
ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ
al-anharu
the rivers
خَٰلِدِينَ
khalidina
will abide
فِيهَآ
fiha
in it
أَبَدٗاۚ
abadan
forever
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
ٱلۡفَوۡزُ
al-fawzu
(is) the success
ٱلۡعَظِيمُ
al-'azimu
the great
١٠٠
9:101
وَمِمَّنۡ
wamimman
And among those
حَوۡلَكُم
hawlakum
around you
مِّنَ
mina
of
ٱلۡأَعۡرَابِ
al-a'rabi
the bedouins
مُنَٰفِقُونَۖ
munafiquna
(are) hypocrites
وَمِنۡ
wamin
and (also) from
أَهۡلِ
ahli
people
ٱلۡمَدِينَةِ
al-madinati
(of) the Madinah
مَرَدُواْ
maradu
They persist
عَلَى
ala
in
ٱلنِّفَاقِ
al-nifaqi
the hypocrisy
لَا
la
not
تَعۡلَمُهُمۡۖ
ta'lamuhum
you know them
نَحۡنُ
nahnu
We
نَعۡلَمُهُمۡۚ
na'lamuhum
[We] know them
سَنُعَذِّبُهُم
sanu'adhibuhum
We will punish them
مَّرَّتَيۡنِ
marratayni
twice
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
يُرَدُّونَ
yuradduna
they will be returned
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
عَذَابٍ
adhabin
a punishment
عَظِيمٖ
azimin
great
١٠١
9:102
وَءَاخَرُونَ
waakharuna
And others
ٱعۡتَرَفُواْ
i'tarafu
(who have) acknowledged
بِذُنُوبِهِمۡ
bidhunubihim
their sins
خَلَطُواْ
khalatu
They had mixed
عَمَلٗا
amalan
a deed
صَٰلِحٗا
salihan
righteous
وَءَاخَرَ
waakhara
(with) other
سَيِّئًا
sayyi-an
(that was) evil
عَسَى
asa
Perhaps
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
أَن
an
[that]
يَتُوبَ
yatuba
will turn (in mercy)
عَلَيۡهِمۡۚ
alayhim
to them
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
غَفُورٞ
ghafurun
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٌ
rahimun
Most Merciful
١٠٢
9:103
خُذۡ
khudh
Take
مِنۡ
min
from
أَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ
amwalihim
their wealth
صَدَقَةٗ
sadaqatan
a charity
تُطَهِّرُهُمۡ
tutahhiruhum
purifying them
وَتُزَكِّيهِم
watuzakkihim
and cause them increase
بِهَا
biha
by it
وَصَلِّ
wasalli
and bless
عَلَيۡهِمۡۖ
alayhim
[upon] them
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
صَلَوٰتَكَ
salataka
your blessings
سَكَنٞ
sakanun
(are a) reassurance
لَّهُمۡۗ
lahum
for them
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
سَمِيعٌ
sami'un
(is) All-Hearer
عَلِيمٌ
alimun
All-Knower
١٠٣
9:104
أَلَمۡ
alam
Do not
يَعۡلَمُوٓاْ
ya'lamu
they know
أَنَّ
anna
that
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
هُوَ
huwa
(is) He
يَقۡبَلُ
yaqbalu
(Who) accepts
ٱلتَّوۡبَةَ
al-tawbata
the repentance
عَنۡ
an
from
عِبَادِهِۦ
ibadihi
His slaves
وَيَأۡخُذُ
wayakhudhu
and takes
ٱلصَّدَقَٰتِ
al-sadaqati
the charities
وَأَنَّ
wa-anna
and that
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
هُوَ
huwa
He
ٱلتَّوَّابُ
al-tawabu
(is) the Acceptor of repentance
ٱلرَّحِيمُ
al-rahimu
the Most Merciful
١٠٤
9:105
وَقُلِ
waquli
And say
ٱعۡمَلُواْ
i'malu
Do
فَسَيَرَى
fasayara
then Allah will see
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
then Allah will see
عَمَلَكُمۡ
amalakum
your deed
وَرَسُولُهُۥ
warasuluhu
and His Messenger
وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَۖ
wal-mu'minuna
and the believers
وَسَتُرَدُّونَ
wasaturadduna
And you will be brought back
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
عَٰلِمِ
alimi
(the) Knower
ٱلۡغَيۡبِ
al-ghaybi
(of) the unseen
وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ
wal-shahadati
and the seen
فَيُنَبِّئُكُم
fayunabbi-ukum
then He will inform you
بِمَا
bima
of what
كُنتُمۡ
kuntum
you used (to)
تَعۡمَلُونَ
ta'maluna
do
١٠٥
9:106
وَءَاخَرُونَ
waakharuna
And others
مُرۡجَوۡنَ
mur'jawna
deferred
لِأَمۡرِ
li-amri
for the Command of Allah
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
for the Command of Allah
إِمَّا
imma
whether
يُعَذِّبُهُمۡ
yu'adhibuhum
He will punish them
وَإِمَّا
wa-imma
or
يَتُوبُ
yatubu
He will turn (in mercy)
عَلَيۡهِمۡۗ
alayhim
to them
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
عَلِيمٌ
alimun
(is) All-Knower
حَكِيمٞ
hakimun
All-Wise

9:107
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
And those who
ٱتَّخَذُواْ
ittakhadhu
take
مَسۡجِدٗا
masjidan
a masjid
ضِرَارٗا
diraran
(for causing) harm
وَكُفۡرٗا
wakuf'ran
and (for) disbelief
وَتَفۡرِيقَۢا
watafriqan
and (for) division
بَيۡنَ
bayna
among
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
al-mu'minina
the believers
وَإِرۡصَادٗا
wa-ir'sadan
and (as) a station
لِّمَنۡ
liman
for whoever
حَارَبَ
haraba
warred
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
(against) Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥ
warasulahu
and His Messenger
مِن
min
before
قَبۡلُۚ
qablu
before
وَلَيَحۡلِفُنَّ
walayahlifunna
And surely they will swear
إِنۡ
in
Not
أَرَدۡنَآ
aradna
we wish
إِلَّا
illa
except
ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰۖ
al-hus'na
the good
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
But Allah
يَشۡهَدُ
yashhadu
bears witness
إِنَّهُمۡ
innahum
indeed they
لَكَٰذِبُونَ
lakadhibuna
(are) surely liars
١٠٧
9:108
لَا
la
(Do) not
تَقُمۡ
taqum
stand
فِيهِ
fihi
in it
أَبَدٗاۚ
abadan
ever
لَّمَسۡجِدٌ
lamasjidun
A masjid
أُسِّسَ
ussisa
founded
عَلَى
ala
on
ٱلتَّقۡوَىٰ
al-taqwa
the righteousness
مِنۡ
min
from
أَوَّلِ
awwali
(the) first
يَوۡمٍ
yawmin
day
أَحَقُّ
ahaqqu
(is) more worthy
أَن
an
that
تَقُومَ
taquma
you stand
فِيهِۚ
fihi
in it
فِيهِ
fihi
Within it
رِجَالٞ
rijalun
(are) men
يُحِبُّونَ
yuhibbuna
who love
أَن
an
to
يَتَطَهَّرُواْۚ
yatatahharu
purify themselves
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
and Allah
يُحِبُّ
yuhibbu
loves
ٱلۡمُطَّهِّرِينَ
al-mutahirina
the ones who purify themselves
١٠٨
9:109
أَفَمَنۡ
afaman
Then is (one) who
أَسَّسَ
assasa
founded
بُنۡيَٰنَهُۥ
bun'yanahu
his building
عَلَىٰ
ala
on
تَقۡوَىٰ
taqwa
righteousness
مِنَ
mina
from
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
وَرِضۡوَٰنٍ
warid'wanin
and (His) pleasure
خَيۡرٌ
khayrun
better
أَم
am
or
مَّنۡ
man
(one) who
أَسَّسَ
assasa
founded
بُنۡيَٰنَهُۥ
bun'yanahu
his building
عَلَىٰ
ala
on
شَفَا
shafa
edge
جُرُفٍ
jurufin
(of) a cliff
هَارٖ
harin
(about to) collapse
فَٱنۡهَارَ
fa-in'hara
so it collapsed
بِهِۦ
bihi
with him
فِي
fi
in
نَارِ
nari
(the) Fire
جَهَنَّمَۗ
jahannama
(of) Hell
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
لَا
la
(does) not
يَهۡدِي
yahdi
guide
ٱلۡقَوۡمَ
al-qawma
the wrongdoing people
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
al-zalimina
the wrongdoing people
١٠٩
9:110
لَا
la
Not
يَزَالُ
yazalu
(will) cease
بُنۡيَٰنُهُمُ
bun'yanuhumu
their building
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
which
بَنَوۡاْ
banaw
they built
رِيبَةٗ
ribatan
a (cause of) doubt
فِي
fi
in
قُلُوبِهِمۡ
qulubihim
their hearts
إِلَّآ
illa
except
أَن
an
that
تَقَطَّعَ
taqatta'a
(are) cut into pieces
قُلُوبُهُمۡۗ
qulubuhum
their hearts
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
عَلِيمٌ
alimun
(is) All-Knower
حَكِيمٌ
hakimun
All-Wise
١١٠
9:111
۞إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
ٱشۡتَرَىٰ
ish'tara
(has) purchased
مِنَ
mina
from
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
al-mu'minina
the believers
أَنفُسَهُمۡ
anfusahum
their lives
وَأَمۡوَٰلَهُم
wa-amwalahum
and their wealth
بِأَنَّ
bi-anna
because
لَهُمُ
lahumu
for them
ٱلۡجَنَّةَۚ
al-janata
(is) Paradise
يُقَٰتِلُونَ
yuqatiluna
They fight
فِي
fi
in
سَبِيلِ
sabili
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
فَيَقۡتُلُونَ
fayaqtuluna
they slay
وَيُقۡتَلُونَۖ
wayuq'taluna
and they are slain
وَعۡدًا
wa'dan
A promise
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
upon Him
حَقّٗا
haqqan
true
فِي
fi
in
ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةِ
al-tawrati
the Taurat
وَٱلۡإِنجِيلِ
wal-injili
and the Injeel
وَٱلۡقُرۡءَانِۚ
wal-qur'ani
and the Quran
وَمَنۡ
waman
And who
أَوۡفَىٰ
awfa
(is) more faithful
بِعَهۡدِهِۦ
bi'ahdihi
to his promise
مِنَ
mina
than
ٱللَّهِۚ
al-lahi
Allah
فَٱسۡتَبۡشِرُواْ
fa-is'tabshiru
So rejoice
بِبَيۡعِكُمُ
bibay'ikumu
in your transaction
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
which
بَايَعۡتُم
baya'tum
you have contracted
بِهِۦۚ
bihi
[with it]
وَذَٰلِكَ
wadhalika
And that
هُوَ
huwa
it
ٱلۡفَوۡزُ
al-fawzu
(is) the success
ٱلۡعَظِيمُ
al-'azimu
the great

9:112
ٱلتَّٰٓئِبُونَ
al-taibuna
Those who turn in repentance
ٱلۡعَٰبِدُونَ
al-'abiduna
those who worship
ٱلۡحَٰمِدُونَ
al-hamiduna
those who praise
ٱلسَّٰٓئِحُونَ
al-saihuna
those who go out
ٱلرَّٰكِعُونَ
al-raki'una
those who bow down
ٱلسَّٰجِدُونَ
al-sajiduna
those who prostrate
ٱلۡأٓمِرُونَ
al-amiruna
those who enjoin
بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ
bil-ma'rufi
the right
وَٱلنَّاهُونَ
wal-nahuna
and those who forbid
عَنِ
ani
[on]
ٱلۡمُنكَرِ
al-munkari
the wrong
وَٱلۡحَٰفِظُونَ
wal-hafizuna
and those who observe
لِحُدُودِ
lihududi
(the) limits
ٱللَّهِۗ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
وَبَشِّرِ
wabashiri
And give glad tidings
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
al-mu'minina
(to) the believers
١١٢
9:113
مَا
ma
Not
كَانَ
kana
(it) is
لِلنَّبِيِّ
lilnnabiyyi
for the Prophet
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
and those who
ءَامَنُوٓاْ
amanu
believe
أَن
an
that
يَسۡتَغۡفِرُواْ
yastaghfiru
they ask forgiveness
لِلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ
lil'mush'rikina
for the polytheists
وَلَوۡ
walaw
even though
كَانُوٓاْ
kanu
they be
أُوْلِي
uli
near of kin
قُرۡبَىٰ
qur'ba
near of kin
مِنۢ
min
after
بَعۡدِ
ba'di
after
مَا
ma
[what]
تَبَيَّنَ
tabayyana
has become clear
لَهُمۡ
lahum
to them
أَنَّهُمۡ
annahum
that they
أَصۡحَٰبُ
ashabu
(are the) companions
ٱلۡجَحِيمِ
al-jahimi
(of) the Hellfire
١١٣
9:114
وَمَا
wama
And not
كَانَ
kana
was
ٱسۡتِغۡفَارُ
is'tigh'faru
(the) asking of forgiveness
إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
ib'rahima
(by) Ibrahim
لِأَبِيهِ
li-abihi
for his father
إِلَّا
illa
except
عَن
an
because
مَّوۡعِدَةٖ
maw'idatin
(of) a promise
وَعَدَهَآ
wa'adaha
he had promised it
إِيَّاهُ
iyyahu
(to) him
فَلَمَّا
falamma
But when
تَبَيَّنَ
tabayyana
it became clear
لَهُۥٓ
lahu
to him
أَنَّهُۥ
annahu
that he
عَدُوّٞ
aduwwun
(was) an enemy
لِّلَّهِ
lillahi
to Allah
تَبَرَّأَ
tabarra-a
he disassociated
مِنۡهُۚ
min'hu
from him
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
ib'rahima
Ibrahim
لَأَوَّٰهٌ
la-awwahun
(was) compassionate
حَلِيمٞ
halimun
forbearing
١١٤
9:115
وَمَا
wama
And not
كَانَ
kana
is
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
(for) Allah
لِيُضِلَّ
liyudilla
that He lets go astray
قَوۡمَۢا
qawman
a people
بَعۡدَ
ba'da
after
إِذۡ
idh
[when]
هَدَىٰهُمۡ
hadahum
He has guided them
حَتَّىٰ
hatta
until
يُبَيِّنَ
yubayyina
He makes clear
لَهُم
lahum
to them
مَّا
ma
what
يَتَّقُونَۚ
yattaquna

9:116
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
لَهُۥ
lahu
to Him (belongs)
مُلۡكُ
mul'ku
the dominion
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
(of) the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ
wal-ardi
and the earth
يُحۡيِۦ
yuh'yi
He gives life
وَيُمِيتُۚ
wayumitu
and He causes death
وَمَا
wama
And not
لَكُم
lakum
for you
مِّن
min
besides Allah
دُونِ
duni
besides Allah
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
besides Allah
مِن
min
any
وَلِيّٖ
waliyyin
protector
وَلَا
wala
and not
نَصِيرٖ
nasirin
any helper
١١٦
9:117
لَّقَد
laqad
Verily
تَّابَ
taba
Allah turned (in mercy)
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah turned (in mercy)
عَلَى
ala
to
ٱلنَّبِيِّ
al-nabiyi
the Prophet
وَٱلۡمُهَٰجِرِينَ
wal-muhajirina
and the emigrants
وَٱلۡأَنصَارِ
wal-ansari
and the helpers
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
[those] who
ٱتَّبَعُوهُ
ittaba'uhu
followed him
فِي
fi
in
سَاعَةِ
sa'ati
(the) hour
ٱلۡعُسۡرَةِ
al-'us'rati
(of) difficulty
مِنۢ
min
after
بَعۡدِ
ba'di
after
مَا
ma
[what]
كَادَ
kada
had nearly
يَزِيغُ
yazighu
deviated
قُلُوبُ
qulubu
(the) hearts
فَرِيقٖ
fariqin
(of) a party
مِّنۡهُمۡ
min'hum
of them
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
تَابَ
taba
He turned (in mercy)
عَلَيۡهِمۡۚ
alayhim
to them
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed He
بِهِمۡ
bihim
to them
رَءُوفٞ
raufun
(is) Most Kind
رَّحِيمٞ
rahimun
Most Merciful

وَعَلَى
wa'ala
And on
ٱلثَّلَٰثَةِ
al-thalathati
the three
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
(of) those who
خُلِّفُواْ
khullifu
were left behind
حَتَّىٰٓ
hatta
until
إِذَا
idha
when
ضَاقَتۡ
daqat
(was) straitened
عَلَيۡهِمُ
alayhimu
for them
ٱلۡأَرۡضُ
al-ardu
the earth
بِمَا
bima
though
رَحُبَتۡ
rahubat
it was vast
وَضَاقَتۡ
wadaqat
And (was) straitened
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
alayhim
for them
أَنفُسُهُمۡ
anfusuhum
their own souls
وَظَنُّوٓاْ
wazannu
and they were certain
أَن
an
that
لَّا
la
(there is) no
مَلۡجَأَ
malja-a
refuge
مِنَ
mina
from
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
إِلَّآ
illa
except
إِلَيۡهِ
ilayhi
to Him
ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
تَابَ
taba
He turned (in mercy)
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
alayhim
to them
لِيَتُوبُوٓاْۚ
liyatubu
that they may repent
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
هُوَ
huwa
He
ٱلتَّوَّابُ
al-tawabu
(is) the Acceptor of repentance
ٱلرَّحِيمُ
al-rahimu
the Most Merciful
١١٨
9:119
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
O you who believe
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
O you who believe
ٱتَّقُواْ
ittaqu
Fear
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَكُونُواْ
wakunu
and be
مَعَ
ma'a
with
ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
al-sadiqina
those who are truthful
١١٩
9:120
مَا
ma
Not
كَانَ
kana
it was
لِأَهۡلِ
li-ahli
(for) the people
ٱلۡمَدِينَةِ
al-madinati
of the Madinah
وَمَنۡ
waman
and who
حَوۡلَهُم
hawlahum
were around them
مِّنَ
mina
of
ٱلۡأَعۡرَابِ
al-a'rabi
the bedouins
أَن
an
that
يَتَخَلَّفُواْ
yatakhallafu
they remain behind
عَن
an
after
رَّسُولِ
rasuli
the Messenger
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
of Allah
وَلَا
wala
and not
يَرۡغَبُواْ
yarghabu
they prefer
بِأَنفُسِهِمۡ
bi-anfusihim
their lives
عَن
an
to
نَّفۡسِهِۦۚ
nafsihi
his life
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That is
بِأَنَّهُمۡ
bi-annahum
because [they]
لَا
la
(does) not
يُصِيبُهُمۡ
yusibuhum
afflict them
ظَمَأٞ
zama-on
thirst
وَلَا
wala
and not
نَصَبٞ
nasabun
fatigue
وَلَا
wala
and not
مَخۡمَصَةٞ
makhmasatun
hunger
فِي
fi
in
سَبِيلِ
sabili
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
وَلَا
wala
and not
يَطَـُٔونَ
yatauna
they step
مَوۡطِئٗا
mawti-an
any step
يَغِيظُ
yaghizu
that angers
ٱلۡكُفَّارَ
al-kufara
the disbelievers
وَلَا
wala
and not
يَنَالُونَ
yanaluna
they inflict
مِنۡ
min
on
عَدُوّٖ
aduwwin
an enemy
نَّيۡلًا
naylan
an infliction
إِلَّا
illa
except
كُتِبَ
kutiba
is recorded
لَهُم
lahum
for them
بِهِۦ
bihi
in it
عَمَلٞ
amalun
(as) a deed
صَٰلِحٌۚ
salihun
righteous
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
لَا
la
(does) not
يُضِيعُ
yudi'u
allow to be lost
أَجۡرَ
ajra
the reward
ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
al-muh'sinina
(of) the good-doers
١٢٠
9:121
وَلَا
wala
And not
يُنفِقُونَ
yunfiquna
they spend
نَفَقَةٗ
nafaqatan
any spending
صَغِيرَةٗ
saghiratan
small
وَلَا
wala
and not
كَبِيرَةٗ
kabiratan
big
وَلَا
wala
and not
يَقۡطَعُونَ
yaqta'una
they cross
وَادِيًا
wadiyan
a valley
إِلَّا
illa
but
كُتِبَ
kutiba
is recorded
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
لِيَجۡزِيَهُمُ
liyajziyahumu
that Allah may reward them
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
that Allah may reward them
أَحۡسَنَ
ahsana
the best
مَا
ma
(of) what
كَانُواْ
kanu
they used (to)
يَعۡمَلُونَ
ya'maluna
do
١٢١
9:122
۞وَمَا
wama
And not
كَانَ
kana
is
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ
al-mu'minuna
(for) the believers
لِيَنفِرُواْ
liyanfiru
that they go forth
كَآفَّةٗۚ
kaffatan
all together
فَلَوۡلَا
falawla
So if not
نَفَرَ
nafara
go forth
مِن
min
from
كُلِّ
kulli
every
فِرۡقَةٖ
fir'qatin
group
مِّنۡهُمۡ
min'hum
among them
طَآئِفَةٞ
taifatun
a party
لِّيَتَفَقَّهُواْ
liyatafaqqahu
that they may obtain understanding
فِي
fi
in
ٱلدِّينِ
al-dini
the religion
وَلِيُنذِرُواْ
waliyundhiru
and that they may warn
قَوۡمَهُمۡ
qawmahum
their people
إِذَا
idha
when
رَجَعُوٓاْ
raja'u
they return
إِلَيۡهِمۡ
ilayhim
to them
لَعَلَّهُمۡ
la'allahum
so that they may
يَحۡذَرُونَ
yahdharuna
beware

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
O you who believe
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
O you who believe
قَٰتِلُواْ
qatilu
Fight
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
يَلُونَكُم
yalunakum
(are) close to you
مِّنَ
mina
of
ٱلۡكُفَّارِ
al-kufari
the disbelievers
وَلۡيَجِدُواْ
walyajidu
and let them find
فِيكُمۡ
fikum
in you
غِلۡظَةٗۚ
ghil'zatan
harshness
وَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ
wa-i'lamu
And know
أَنَّ
anna
that
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
مَعَ
ma'a
(is) with
ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ
al-mutaqina
those who fear (Him)
١٢٣
9:124
وَإِذَا
wa-idha
And whenever
مَآ
ma
And whenever
أُنزِلَتۡ
unzilat
is revealed
سُورَةٞ
suratun
a Surah
فَمِنۡهُم
famin'hum
among them
مَّن
man
(are some) who
يَقُولُ
yaqulu
say
أَيُّكُمۡ
ayyukum
Which of you
زَادَتۡهُ
zadathu
(has) increased [it]
هَٰذِهِۦٓ
hadhihi
(by) this
إِيمَٰنٗاۚ
imanan
(in) faith
فَأَمَّا
fa-amma
As for
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
فَزَادَتۡهُمۡ
fazadathum
then it has increased them
إِيمَٰنٗا
imanan
(in) faith
وَهُمۡ
wahum
and they
يَسۡتَبۡشِرُونَ
yastabshiruna
rejoice
١٢٤
9:125
وَأَمَّا
wa-amma
But as for
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those
فِي
fi
in
قُلُوبِهِم
qulubihim
their hearts
مَّرَضٞ
maradun
(is) a disease
فَزَادَتۡهُمۡ
fazadathum
(it) increases them
رِجۡسًا
rij'san
(in) evil
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
رِجۡسِهِمۡ
rij'sihim
their evil
وَمَاتُواْ
wamatu
And they die
وَهُمۡ
wahum
while they
كَٰفِرُونَ
kafiruna
(are) disbelievers
١٢٥
9:126
أَوَلَا
awala
Do not
يَرَوۡنَ
yarawna
they see
أَنَّهُمۡ
annahum
that they
يُفۡتَنُونَ
yuf'tanuna
are tried
فِي
fi
[in]
كُلِّ
kulli
every
عَامٖ
amin
year
مَّرَّةً
marratan
once
أَوۡ
aw
or
مَرَّتَيۡنِ
marratayni
twice
ثُمَّ
thumma
Yet
لَا
la
not
يَتُوبُونَ
yatubuna
they turn (in repentance)
وَلَا
wala
and not
هُمۡ
hum
they
يَذَّكَّرُونَ
yadhakkaruna
pay heed
١٢٦
9:127
وَإِذَا
wa-idha
And whenever
مَآ
ma
And whenever
أُنزِلَتۡ
unzilat
is revealed
سُورَةٞ
suratun
a Surah
نَّظَرَ
nazara
look
بَعۡضُهُمۡ
ba'duhum
some of them
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
بَعۡضٍ
ba'din
others
هَلۡ
hal
Does
يَرَىٰكُم
yarakum
see you
مِّنۡ
min
any
أَحَدٖ
ahadin
one
ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
ٱنصَرَفُواْۚ
insarafu
they turn away
صَرَفَ
sarafa
Allah has turned away
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah has turned away
قُلُوبَهُم
qulubahum
their hearts
بِأَنَّهُمۡ
bi-annahum
because they
قَوۡمٞ
qawmun
(are) a people
لَّا
la
not
يَفۡقَهُونَ
yafqahuna
they understand
١٢٧
9:128
لَقَدۡ
laqad
Certainly
جَآءَكُمۡ
jaakum
(has) come to you
رَسُولٞ
rasulun
a Messenger
مِّنۡ
min
from
أَنفُسِكُمۡ
anfusikum
yourselves
عَزِيزٌ
azizun
Grievous
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
to him
مَا
ma
(is) what
عَنِتُّمۡ
anittum
you suffer
حَرِيصٌ
harisun
(he is) concerned
عَلَيۡكُم
alaykum
over you
بِٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
bil-mu'minina
to the believers
رَءُوفٞ
raufun
(he is) kind
رَّحِيمٞ
rahimun
(and) merciful
١٢٨
9:129
فَإِن
fa-in
But if
تَوَلَّوۡاْ
tawallaw
they turn away
فَقُلۡ
faqul
then say
حَسۡبِيَ
hasbiya
Sufficient for me
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
(is) Allah
لَآ
la
(There is) no
إِلَٰهَ
ilaha
god
إِلَّا
illa
except
هُوَۖ
huwa
Him
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
On Him
تَوَكَّلۡتُۖ
tawakkaltu
I put my trust
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
And He
رَبُّ
rabbu
(is the) Lord
ٱلۡعَرۡشِ
al-'arshi
(of) the Throne
ٱلۡعَظِيمِ
al-'azimi
the Great

تِلۡكَ
til'ka
These
ءَايَٰتُ
ayatu
(are the) verses
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
al-kitabi
(of) the Book
ٱلۡحَكِيمِ
al-hakimi
the wise
١
10:2
أَكَانَ
akana
Is it
لِلنَّاسِ
lilnnasi
for the mankind
عَجَبًا
ajaban
a wonder
أَنۡ
an
that
أَوۡحَيۡنَآ
awhayna
We revealed
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
رَجُلٖ
rajulin
a man
مِّنۡهُمۡ
min'hum
from (among) them
أَنۡ
an
that
أَنذِرِ
andhiri
Warn
ٱلنَّاسَ
al-nasa
the mankind
وَبَشِّرِ
wabashiri
and give glad tidings
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
(to) those who
ءَامَنُوٓاْ
amanu
believe
أَنَّ
anna
that
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
قَدَمَ
qadama
(will be) a respectable position
صِدۡقٍ
sid'qin
(will be) a respectable position
عِندَ
inda
near
رَبِّهِمۡۗ
rabbihim
their Lord
قَالَ
qala
Said
ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ
al-kafiruna
the disbelievers
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
هَٰذَا
hadha
this
لَسَٰحِرٞ
lasahirun
(is) surely a magician
مُّبِينٌ
mubinun
obvious
٢
10:3
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
رَبَّكُمُ
rabbakumu
your Lord
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
(is) Allah
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
the One Who
خَلَقَ
khalaqa
created
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ
wal-arda
and the earth
فِي
fi
in
سِتَّةِ
sittati
six
أَيَّامٖ
ayyamin
periods
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
ٱسۡتَوَىٰ
is'tawa
He established
عَلَى
ala
on
ٱلۡعَرۡشِۖ
al-'arshi
the Throne
يُدَبِّرُ
yudabbiru
disposing
ٱلۡأَمۡرَۖ
al-amra
the affairs
مَا
ma
Not
مِن
min
(is) any intercessor
شَفِيعٍ
shafi'in
(is) any intercessor
إِلَّا
illa
except
مِنۢ
min
after
بَعۡدِ
ba'di
after
إِذۡنِهِۦۚ
idh'nihi
His permission
ذَٰلِكُمُ
dhalikumu
That
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
(is) Allah
رَبُّكُمۡ
rabbukum
your Lord
فَٱعۡبُدُوهُۚ
fa-u'buduhu
so worship Him
أَفَلَا
afala
Then will not
تَذَكَّرُونَ
tadhakkaruna
you remember
٣
10:4
إِلَيۡهِ
ilayhi
To Him
مَرۡجِعُكُمۡ
marji'ukum
(will be) your return
جَمِيعٗاۖ
jami'an
[all]
وَعۡدَ
wa'da
Promise
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
حَقًّاۚ
haqqan
(is) true
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed He
يَبۡدَؤُاْ
yabda-u
originates
ٱلۡخَلۡقَ
al-khalqa
the creation
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
يُعِيدُهُۥ
yu'iduhu
He repeats it
لِيَجۡزِيَ
liyajziya
that He may reward
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believed
وَعَمِلُواْ
wa'amilu
and did
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
al-salihati
the good deeds
بِٱلۡقِسۡطِۚ
bil-qis'ti
in justice
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
But those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieved
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
شَرَابٞ
sharabun
(will be) a drink
مِّنۡ
min
of
حَمِيمٖ
hamimin
boiling fluids
وَعَذَابٌ
wa'adhabun
and a punishment
أَلِيمُۢ
alimun
painful
بِمَا
bima
because
كَانُواْ
kanu
they used (to)
يَكۡفُرُونَ
yakfuruna
disbelieve
٤
10:5
هُوَ
huwa
He
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
(is) the One Who
جَعَلَ
ja'ala
made
ٱلشَّمۡسَ
al-shamsa
the sun
ضِيَآءٗ
diyaan
a shining light
وَٱلۡقَمَرَ
wal-qamara
and the moon
نُورٗا
nuran
a reflected light
وَقَدَّرَهُۥ
waqaddarahu
and determined for it
مَنَازِلَ
manazila
phases
لِتَعۡلَمُواْ
lita'lamu
that you may know
عَدَدَ
adada
(the) number
ٱلسِّنِينَ
al-sinina
(of) the years
وَٱلۡحِسَابَۚ
wal-hisaba
and the count (of time)
مَا
ma
Not
خَلَقَ
khalaqa
created
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
that
إِلَّا
illa
except
بِٱلۡحَقِّۚ
bil-haqi
in truth
يُفَصِّلُ
yufassilu
He explains
ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ
al-ayati
the Signs
لِقَوۡمٖ
liqawmin
for a people
يَعۡلَمُونَ
ya'lamuna
(who) know
٥
10:6
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
فِي
fi
in
ٱخۡتِلَٰفِ
ikh'tilafi
(the) alternation
ٱلَّيۡلِ
al-layli
(of) the night
وَٱلنَّهَارِ
wal-nahari
and the day
وَمَا
wama
and what
خَلَقَ
khalaqa
(has been) created
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
(by) Allah
فِي
fi
in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ
wal-ardi
and the earth
لَأٓيَٰتٖ
laayatin
(are) Signs
لِّقَوۡمٖ
liqawmin
for a people
يَتَّقُونَ
yattaquna
who are God conscious

Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
لَا
la
(do) not
يَرۡجُونَ
yarjuna
expect
لِقَآءَنَا
liqaana
the meeting with Us
وَرَضُواْ
waradu
and are pleased
بِٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ
bil-hayati
with the life
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
al-dun'ya
(of) the world
وَٱطۡمَأَنُّواْ
wa-it'ma-annu
and feel satisfied
بِهَا
biha
with it
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
and those
هُمۡ
hum
they
عَنۡ
an
(are) of
ءَايَٰتِنَا
ayatina
Our Signs
غَٰفِلُونَ
ghafiluna
heedless
٧
10:8
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
Those
مَأۡوَىٰهُمُ
mawahumu
their abode
ٱلنَّارُ
al-naru
(will be) the Fire
بِمَا
bima
for what
كَانُواْ
kanu
they used (to)
يَكۡسِبُونَ
yaksibuna
earn
٨
10:9
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believed
وَعَمِلُواْ
wa'amilu
and did
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
al-salihati
good deeds
يَهۡدِيهِمۡ
yahdihim
(will) guide them
رَبُّهُم
rabbuhum
their Lord
بِإِيمَٰنِهِمۡۖ
biimanihim
by their faith
تَجۡرِي
tajri
Will flow
مِن
min
from
تَحۡتِهِمُ
tahtihimu
underneath them
ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ
al-anharu
the rivers
فِي
fi
in
جَنَّٰتِ
jannati
Gardens
ٱلنَّعِيمِ
al-na'imi
(of) Delight
٩
10:10
دَعۡوَىٰهُمۡ
da'wahum
Their prayer
فِيهَا
fiha
therein
سُبۡحَٰنَكَ
sub'hanaka
(will be) Glory be to You
ٱللَّهُمَّ
al-lahuma
O Allah
وَتَحِيَّتُهُمۡ
watahiyyatuhum
And their greeting
فِيهَا
fiha
therein (will be)
سَلَٰمٞۚ
salamun
Peace
وَءَاخِرُ
waakhiru
And the last
دَعۡوَىٰهُمۡ
da'wahum
(of) their call
أَنِ
ani
(will be) [that]
ٱلۡحَمۡدُ
al-hamdu
All the Praise be
لِلَّهِ
lillahi
to Allah
رَبِّ
rabbi
Lord
ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
al-'alamina
(of) the worlds
١٠
10:11
۞وَلَوۡ
walaw
And if
يُعَجِّلُ
yu'ajjilu
hastens
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
(by) Allah
لِلنَّاسِ
lilnnasi
for the mankind
ٱلشَّرَّ
al-shara
the evil
ٱسۡتِعۡجَالَهُم
is'ti'jalahum
(as) He hastens for them
بِٱلۡخَيۡرِ
bil-khayri
the good
لَقُضِيَ
laqudiya
surely would have been decreed
إِلَيۡهِمۡ
ilayhim
for them
أَجَلُهُمۡۖ
ajaluhum
their term
فَنَذَرُ
fanadharu
But We leave
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
لَا
la
(do) not
يَرۡجُونَ
yarjuna
expect
لِقَآءَنَا
liqaana
the meeting with Us
فِي
fi
in
طُغۡيَٰنِهِمۡ
tugh'yanihim
their transgression
يَعۡمَهُونَ
ya'mahuna
wandering blindly
١١
10:12
وَإِذَا
wa-idha
And when
مَسَّ
massa
touches
ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ
al-insana
the man
ٱلضُّرُّ
al-duru
the affliction
دَعَانَا
da'ana
he calls Us
لِجَنۢبِهِۦٓ
lijanbihi
(lying) on his side
أَوۡ
aw
or

(had) not
يَدۡعُنَآ
yad'una
called Us
إِلَىٰ
ila
for
ضُرّٖ
durrin
(the) affliction
مَّسَّهُۥۚ
massahu
(that) touched him
كَذَٰلِكَ
kadhalika
Thus
زُيِّنَ
zuyyina
(it) is made fair seeming
لِلۡمُسۡرِفِينَ
lil'mus'rifina
to the extravagant
مَا
ma
what
كَانُواْ
kanu
they used (to)
يَعۡمَلُونَ
ya'maluna
do

وَلَقَدۡ
walaqad
And verily
أَهۡلَكۡنَا
ahlakna
We destroyed
ٱلۡقُرُونَ
al-quruna
the generations
مِن
min
before you
قَبۡلِكُمۡ
qablikum
before you
لَمَّا
lamma
when
ظَلَمُواْ
zalamu
they wronged
وَجَآءَتۡهُمۡ
wajaathum
and came to them
رُسُلُهُم
rusuluhum
their Messengers
بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ
bil-bayinati
with clear proofs
وَمَا
wama
but not
كَانُواْ
kanu
they were
لِيُؤۡمِنُواْۚ
liyu'minu
to believe
كَذَٰلِكَ
kadhalika
Thus
نَجۡزِي
najzi
We recompense
ٱلۡقَوۡمَ
al-qawma
the people
ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ
al-muj'rimina
(who are) criminals
١٣
