75:1لَآlaNayأُقۡسِمُuq'simuI swearبِيَوۡمِbiyawmiby (the) Dayٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِal-qiyamati(of) the Resurrection١
75:2وَلَآwalaAnd nayأُقۡسِمُuq'simuI swearبِٱلنَّفۡسِbil-nafsiby the soulٱللَّوَّامَةِal-lawamatiself-accusing٢
75:3أَيَحۡسَبُayahsabuDoes thinkٱلۡإِنسَٰنُal-insanu[the] manأَلَّنallanthat notنَّجۡمَعَnajma'aWe will assembleعِظَامَهُۥizamahuhis bones٣
75:4بَلَىٰbalaNayقَٰدِرِينَqadirina(We are) AbleعَلَىٰٓalaonأَنanthatنُّسَوِّيَnusawwiyaWe can restoreبَنَانَهُۥbananahuhis fingertips٤
75:5بَلۡbalNayيُرِيدُyuriduDesiresٱلۡإِنسَٰنُal-insanu[the] manلِيَفۡجُرَliyafjurato give (the) lieأَمَامَهُۥamamahu(to) what is before him٥
75:6يَسۡـَٔلُyasaluHe asksأَيَّانَayyanaWhenيَوۡمُyawmu(is the) Dayٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِal-qiyamati(of) the Resurrection٦
75:10يَقُولُyaquluWill sayٱلۡإِنسَٰنُal-insanu[the] manيَوۡمَئِذٍyawma-idhinthat DayأَيۡنَaynaWhereٱلۡمَفَرُّal-mafaru(is) the escape١٠
75:12إِلَىٰilaToرَبِّكَrabbikayour Lordيَوۡمَئِذٍyawma-idhinthat Dayٱلۡمُسۡتَقَرُّal-mus'taqaru(is) the place of rest١٢
75:13يُنَبَّؤُاْyunabba-uWill be informedٱلۡإِنسَٰنُal-insanu[the] manيَوۡمَئِذِۭyawma-idhinthat Dayبِمَاbimaof whatقَدَّمَqaddamahe sent forthوَأَخَّرَwa-akharaand kept back١٣
75:14بَلِbaliNayٱلۡإِنسَٰنُal-insanu[The] manعَلَىٰalaagainstنَفۡسِهِۦnafsihihimselfبَصِيرَةٞbasiratun(will be) a witness١٤
75:16لَاlaNotتُحَرِّكۡtuharrikmoveبِهِۦbihiwith itلِسَانَكَlisanakayour tongueلِتَعۡجَلَlita'jalato hastenبِهِۦٓbihiwith it١٦
75:17إِنَّinnaIndeedعَلَيۡنَاalaynaupon Usجَمۡعَهُۥjam'ahu(is) its collectionوَقُرۡءَانَهُۥwaqur'anahuand its recitation١٧
75:18فَإِذَاfa-idhaAnd whenقَرَأۡنَٰهُqaranahuWe have recited itفَٱتَّبِعۡfa-ittabi'then followقُرۡءَانَهُۥqur'anahuits recitation١٨
75:24وَوُجُوهٞwawujuhunAnd facesيَوۡمَئِذِۭyawma-idhinthat Dayبَاسِرَةٞbasiratun(will be) distorted٢٤
75:25تَظُنُّtazunnuThinkingأَنanthatيُفۡعَلَyuf'alawill be doneبِهَاbihato themفَاقِرَةٞfaqiratunbackbreaking٢٥
