وَطَلۡحٖ
Wa-ṭalḥim
And banana trees
مَّنضُودٖ
mañḍood,―
layered
٢٩
56:30
وَظِلّٖ
Wa-z̤̣illim
And shade
مَّمۡدُودٖ
mamdood,
extended
٣٠
56:31
وَمَآءٖ
Wa-maaaʹim
And water
مَّسۡكُوبٖ
maskoob,
poured forth
٣١
56:32
وَفَٰكِهَةٖ
Wa-faakihatiñ
And fruit
كَثِيرَةٖ
kas̤eerah,
abundant
٣٢
56:33
لَّا
Laa
Not
مَقۡطُوعَةٖ
maq̣ṭooʻatiñw
limited
وَلَا
walaa
and not
مَمۡنُوعَةٖ
mamnooʻah,
forbidden
٣٣
56:34
وَفُرُشٖ
Wa-furushim
And (on) couches
مَّرۡفُوعَةٍ
marfooʻah.
raised
٣٤
56:35
إِنَّآ
ʹInnaaa
Indeed We
أَنشَأۡنَٰهُنَّ
ʹañshaʹnaahunna
[We] have produced them
إِنشَآءٗ
ʹiñshaaaʹaa,
(into) a creation
٣٥
56:36
فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُنَّ
Fajaʻalnaahunna
And We have made them
أَبۡكَارًا
ʹabkaaraa―
virgins
٣٦
56:37
عُرُبًا
ʻUruban
Devoted
أَتۡرَابٗا
ʹatraabaa,
equals in age
٣٧
56:38
لِّأَصۡحَٰبِ
LiʹAṣḥaabil
For (the) companions
ٱلۡيَمِينِ
Yameen.
(of) the right
٣٨
56:39
ثُلَّةٞ
S̤ullatum
A company
مِّنَ
minal
of
ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
ʹawwaleen.
the former people
٣٩
56:40
وَثُلَّةٞ
Wa-s̤ullatum
And a company
مِّنَ
minal
of
ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ
ʹaakhireen.
the later people
٤٠
56:41
وَأَصۡحَٰبُ
Wa-ʹAṣḥaabush
And (the) companions
ٱلشِّمَالِ
Shimaal,―
(of) the left
مَآ
maaa
what
أَصۡحَٰبُ
ʹAṣḥaabush
(are the) companions
ٱلشِّمَالِ
shimaal?
(of) the left

فِي
Fee
In
سَمُومٖ
samoomiñw
scorching fire
وَحَمِيمٖ
waḥameem,―
and scalding water
٤٢
56:43
وَظِلّٖ
Wa-z̤̣illim
And a shade
مِّن
miñy
of
يَحۡمُومٖ
yaḥmoom:
black smoke
٤٣
56:44
لَّا
Laa
Not
بَارِدٖ
baaridiñw
cool
وَلَا
walaa
and not
كَرِيمٍ
kareem,
pleasant
٤٤
56:45
إِنَّهُمۡ
ʹInnahum
Indeed they
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
were
قَبۡلَ
q̣abla
before
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
that
مُتۡرَفِينَ
mutrafeen,
indulging in affluence
٤٥
56:46
وَكَانُواْ
Wa-kaanoo
And were
يُصِرُّونَ
yuṣirroona
persisting
عَلَى
ʻalal
in
ٱلۡحِنثِ
ḥins̤il
the sin
ٱلۡعَظِيمِ
ʻaz̤̣eem!
the great
٤٦
56:47
وَكَانُواْ
Wa-kaanu
And they used (to)
يَقُولُونَ
yaq̣ooloona,
say
أَئِذَا
ʹaʹiẓaa
When
مِتۡنَا
mitnaa
we die
وَكُنَّا
wa-kunnaa
and become
تُرَابٗا
turaabañw
dust
وَعِظَٰمًا
waʻiz̤̣aaman
and bones
أَءِنَّا
ʹaʹinnaa
will we
لَمَبۡعُوثُونَ
lamabʻoos̤oon,
surely be resurrected
٤٧
56:48
أَوَءَابَآؤُنَا
ʹA-waʹaabaaaʹunal
And also our fathers
ٱلۡأَوَّلُونَ
ʹawwaloon?
former
٤٨
56:49
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
ʹawwaleena
the former
وَٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ
wal-ʹaakhireen,
and the later people
٤٩
56:50
لَمَجۡمُوعُونَ
Lamajmooʻoona
Surely will be gathered
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
for
مِيقَٰتِ
meeq̣aati
(the) appointment
يَوۡمٖ
Yawmim
(of) a Day
مَّعۡلُومٖ
maʻloom.
well-known
٥٠
