إِذَا
idha
When
رُجَّتِ
rujjati
will be shaken
ٱلۡأَرۡضُ
al-ardu
the earth
رَجّٗا
rajjan
(with) a shaking
٤
56:5
وَبُسَّتِ
wabussati
And will be crumbled
ٱلۡجِبَالُ
al-jibalu
the mountains
بَسّٗا
bassan
(with awful) crumbling
٥
56:6
فَكَانَتۡ
fakanat
So they become
هَبَآءٗ
habaan
dust particles
مُّنۢبَثّٗا
munbathan
dispersing
٦
56:7
وَكُنتُمۡ
wakuntum
And you will become
أَزۡوَٰجٗا
azwajan
kinds
ثَلَٰثَةٗ
thalathatan
three
٧
56:8
فَأَصۡحَٰبُ
fa-ashabu
Then (the) companions
ٱلۡمَيۡمَنَةِ
al-maymanati
(of) the right
مَآ
ma
what
أَصۡحَٰبُ
ashabu
(are the) companions
ٱلۡمَيۡمَنَةِ
al-maymanati
(of) the right
٨
56:9
وَأَصۡحَٰبُ
wa-ashabu
And (the) companions
ٱلۡمَشۡـَٔمَةِ
al-mashamati
(of) the left
مَآ
ma
what
أَصۡحَٰبُ
ashabu
(are the) companions
ٱلۡمَشۡـَٔمَةِ
al-mashamati
(of) the left
٩
56:10
وَٱلسَّٰبِقُونَ
wal-sabiquna
And the foremost
ٱلسَّٰبِقُونَ
al-sabiquna
(are) the foremost
١٠
56:11
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
Those
ٱلۡمُقَرَّبُونَ
al-muqarabuna
(are) the nearest ones

56:12
فِي
fi
In
جَنَّٰتِ
jannati
Gardens
ٱلنَّعِيمِ
al-na'imi
(of) Pleasure
١٢
56:13
ثُلَّةٞ
thullatun
A company
مِّنَ
mina
of
ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
al-awalina
the former (people)
١٣
56:14
وَقَلِيلٞ
waqalilun
And a few
مِّنَ
mina
of
ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ
al-akhirina
the later (people)
١٤
56:15
عَلَىٰ
ala
On
سُرُرٖ
sururin
thrones
مَّوۡضُونَةٖ
mawdunatin
decorated
١٥
56:16
مُّتَّكِـِٔينَ
muttakiina
Reclining
عَلَيۡهَا
alayha
on them
مُتَقَٰبِلِينَ
mutaqabilina
facing each other

يَطُوفُ
yatufu
Will circulate
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
alayhim
among them
وِلۡدَٰنٞ
wil'danun
boys
مُّخَلَّدُونَ
mukhalladuna
immortal

56:18
بِأَكۡوَابٖ
bi-akwabin
With vessels
وَأَبَارِيقَ
wa-abariqa
and jugs
وَكَأۡسٖ
wakasin
and a cup
مِّن
min
from
مَّعِينٖ
ma'inin
a flowing stream
١٨
56:19
لَّا
la
Not
يُصَدَّعُونَ
yusadda'una
they will get headache
عَنۡهَا
anha
therefrom
وَلَا
wala
and not
يُنزِفُونَ
yunzifuna
they will get intoxicated
١٩
56:20
وَفَٰكِهَةٖ
wafakihatin
And fruits
مِّمَّا
mimma
of what
يَتَخَيَّرُونَ
yatakhayyaruna
they select
٢٠
56:21
وَلَحۡمِ
walahmi
And (the) flesh
طَيۡرٖ
tayrin
(of) fowls
مِّمَّا
mimma
of what
يَشۡتَهُونَ
yashtahuna
they desire
٢١
56:22
وَحُورٌ
wahurun
And fair ones
عِينٞ
inun
(with) large eyes
٢٢
56:23
كَأَمۡثَٰلِ
ka-amthali
Like
ٱللُّؤۡلُوِٕ
al-u'lu-i
pearls
ٱلۡمَكۡنُونِ
al-maknuni
well-protected
٢٣
56:24
جَزَآءَۢ
jazaan
A reward
بِمَا
bima
for what
كَانُواْ
kanu
they used (to)
يَعۡمَلُونَ
ya'maluna
do
٢٤
56:25
لَا
la
Not
يَسۡمَعُونَ
yasma'una
they will hear
فِيهَا
fiha
therein
لَغۡوٗا
laghwan
vain talk
وَلَا
wala
and not
تَأۡثِيمًا
tathiman
sinful (speech)
٢٥
56:26
إِلَّا
illa
Except
قِيلٗا
qilan
a saying
سَلَٰمٗا
salaman
Peace
سَلَٰمٗا
salaman
Peace
٢٦
56:27
وَأَصۡحَٰبُ
wa-ashabu
And (the) companions
ٱلۡيَمِينِ
al-yamini
(of) the right
مَآ
ma
what
أَصۡحَٰبُ
ashabu
(are the) companions
ٱلۡيَمِينِ
al-yamini
(of) the right

56:28
فِي
fi
Among
سِدۡرٖ
sid'rin
lote trees
مَّخۡضُودٖ
makhdudin
thornless
٢٨
56:29
وَطَلۡحٖ
watalhin
And banana trees
مَّنضُودٖ
mandudin
layered
٢٩
56:30
وَظِلّٖ
wazillin
And shade
مَّمۡدُودٖ
mamdudin
extended
٣٠
56:31
وَمَآءٖ
wamain
And water
مَّسۡكُوبٖ
maskubin
poured forth
٣١
56:32
وَفَٰكِهَةٖ
wafakihatin
And fruit
كَثِيرَةٖ
kathiratin
abundant
٣٢
56:33
لَّا
la
Not
مَقۡطُوعَةٖ
maqtu'atin
limited
وَلَا
wala
and not
مَمۡنُوعَةٖ
mamnu'atin
forbidden
٣٣
56:34
وَفُرُشٖ
wafurushin
And (on) couches
مَّرۡفُوعَةٍ
marfu'atin
raised
٣٤
56:35
إِنَّآ
inna
Indeed We
أَنشَأۡنَٰهُنَّ
anshanahunna
[We] have produced them
إِنشَآءٗ
inshaan
(into) a creation
٣٥
56:36
فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُنَّ
faja'alnahunna
And We have made them
أَبۡكَارًا
abkaran
virgins
٣٦
56:37
عُرُبًا
uruban
Devoted
أَتۡرَابٗا
atraban
equals in age
٣٧
56:38
لِّأَصۡحَٰبِ
li-ashabi
For (the) companions
ٱلۡيَمِينِ
al-yamini
(of) the right
٣٨
56:39
ثُلَّةٞ
thullatun
A company
مِّنَ
mina
of
ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
al-awalina
the former people
٣٩
56:40
وَثُلَّةٞ
wathullatun
And a company
مِّنَ
mina
of
ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ
al-akhirina
the later people
٤٠
56:41
وَأَصۡحَٰبُ
wa-ashabu
And (the) companions
ٱلشِّمَالِ
al-shimali
(of) the left
مَآ
ma
what
أَصۡحَٰبُ
ashabu
(are the) companions
ٱلشِّمَالِ
al-shimali
(of) the left
٤١
56:42
فِي
fi
In
سَمُومٖ
samumin
scorching fire
وَحَمِيمٖ
wahamimin
and scalding water
٤٢
56:43
وَظِلّٖ
wazillin
And a shade
مِّن
min
of
يَحۡمُومٖ
yahmumin
black smoke
٤٣
56:44
لَّا
la
Not
بَارِدٖ
baridin
cool
وَلَا
wala
and not
كَرِيمٍ
karimin
pleasant
٤٤
56:45
إِنَّهُمۡ
innahum
Indeed they
كَانُواْ
kanu
were
قَبۡلَ
qabla
before
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
that
مُتۡرَفِينَ
mut'rafina
indulging in affluence
٤٥
56:46
وَكَانُواْ
wakanu
And were
يُصِرُّونَ
yusirruna
persisting
عَلَى
ala
in
ٱلۡحِنثِ
al-hinthi
the sin
ٱلۡعَظِيمِ
al-'azimi
the great
٤٦
56:47
وَكَانُواْ
wakanu
And they used (to)
يَقُولُونَ
yaquluna
say
أَئِذَا
a-idha
When
مِتۡنَا
mit'na
we die
وَكُنَّا
wakunna
and become
تُرَابٗا
turaban
dust
وَعِظَٰمًا
wa'izaman
and bones
أَءِنَّا
a-inna
will we
لَمَبۡعُوثُونَ
lamab'uthuna
surely be resurrected
٤٧
56:48
أَوَءَابَآؤُنَا
awaabauna
And also our fathers
ٱلۡأَوَّلُونَ
al-awaluna
former
٤٨
56:49
قُلۡ
qul
Say
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
al-awalina
the former
وَٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ
wal-akhirina
and the later people
٤٩
56:50
لَمَجۡمُوعُونَ
lamajmu'una
Surely will be gathered
إِلَىٰ
ila
for
مِيقَٰتِ
miqati
(the) appointment
يَوۡمٖ
yawmin
(of) a Day
مَّعۡلُومٖ
ma'lumin
well-known
٥٠
