56:4إِذَاʹIẓaaWhenرُجَّتِrujjatilwill be shakenٱلۡأَرۡضُʹarḍuthe earthرَجّٗاrajjaa,(with) a shaking٤
56:5وَبُسَّتِWa-bussatilAnd will be crumbledٱلۡجِبَالُjibaaluthe mountainsبَسّٗاbassaa,(with awful) crumbling٥
56:8فَأَصۡحَٰبُFaʹAṣḥaabulThen (the) companionsٱلۡمَيۡمَنَةِMaymanah;(of) the rightمَآMaaawhatأَصۡحَٰبُʹAṣḥaabul(are the) companionsٱلۡمَيۡمَنَةِMaymanah?(of) the right٨
56:9وَأَصۡحَٰبُWa-ʹAṣḥaabulAnd (the) companionsٱلۡمَشۡـَٔمَةِmashʹamah,―(of) the leftمَآMaaawhatأَصۡحَٰبُʹAṣḥaabul(are the) companionsٱلۡمَشۡـَٔمَةِMashʹamah?(of) the left٩
56:16مُّتَّكِـِٔينَMuttakiʹeenaRecliningعَلَيۡهَاʻalayhaaon themمُتَقَٰبِلِينَmutaq̣aabileen.facing each other١٦
56:17يَطُوفُYaṭoofuWill circulateعَلَيۡهِمۡʻalayhimamong themوِلۡدَٰنٞwildaanumboysمُّخَلَّدُونَmukhalladoon,immortal١٧
56:18بِأَكۡوَابٖBiʹakwaabiñwWith vesselsوَأَبَارِيقَWaʹabaareeq̣a,and jugsوَكَأۡسٖwa-kaʹsimand a cupمِّنmimfromمَّعِينٖmaʻeen:a flowing stream١٨
56:19لَّاLaa-Notيُصَدَّعُونَyuṣaddaʻoonathey will get headacheعَنۡهَاʻanhaatherefromوَلَاwa-laaand notيُنزِفُونَyuñzifoon:they will get intoxicated١٩
56:20وَفَٰكِهَةٖWa-faakihatimAnd fruitsمِّمَّاmimmaaof whatيَتَخَيَّرُونَyatakhayyaroon;they select٢٠
56:21وَلَحۡمِWa-laḥmiAnd (the) fleshطَيۡرٖṭayrim(of) fowlsمِّمَّاmimmaaof whatيَشۡتَهُونَyashtahoon.they desire٢١
56:24جَزَآءَۢJazaaaʹamA rewardبِمَاbimaafor whatكَانُواْkaanoothey used (to)يَعۡمَلُونَyaʻmaloon.do٢٤
56:25لَاLaa-Notيَسۡمَعُونَyasmaʻoonathey will hearفِيهَاfeehaathereinلَغۡوٗاlag̣wañwvain talkوَلَاwalaaand notتَأۡثِيمًاtaʹs̤eemaa,―sinful (speech)٢٥
