put (yourselves) forward
بَيۡنَ

before Allah
يَدَيِ

ٱللَّهِ

وَرَسُولِهِۦۖ
warasulihi
and His Messenger
وَٱتَّقُواْ
wa-ittaqu
and fear Allah
ٱللَّهَۚ
al-laha
and fear Allah
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
سَمِيعٌ
sami'un
(is) All-Hearer
عَلِيمٞ
alimun
All-Knower

49:2
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
O you who believe
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
O you who believe
لَا
la
(Do) not
تَرۡفَعُوٓاْ
tarfa'u
raise
أَصۡوَٰتَكُمۡ
aswatakum
your voices
فَوۡقَ
fawqa
above
صَوۡتِ
sawti
(the) voice
ٱلنَّبِيِّ
al-nabiyi
(of) the Prophet
وَلَا
wala
and (do) not
تَجۡهَرُواْ
tajharu
be loud
لَهُۥ
lahu
to him
بِٱلۡقَوۡلِ
bil-qawli
in speech
كَجَهۡرِ
kajahri
like (the) loudness
بَعۡضِكُمۡ
ba'dikum
(of) some of you
لِبَعۡضٍ
liba'din
to others
أَن
an
lest
تَحۡبَطَ
tahbata
become worthless
أَعۡمَٰلُكُمۡ
a'malukum
your deeds
وَأَنتُمۡ
wa-antum
while you
لَا
la
(do) not
تَشۡعُرُونَ
tash'uruna
perceive
٢
49:3
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
يَغُضُّونَ
yaghudduna
lower
أَصۡوَٰتَهُمۡ
aswatahum
their voices
عِندَ
inda
(in) presence
رَسُولِ
rasuli
(of the) Messenger of Allah
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of the) Messenger of Allah
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
those
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
(are) the ones
ٱمۡتَحَنَ
im'tahana
Allah has tested
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah has tested
قُلُوبَهُمۡ
qulubahum
their hearts
لِلتَّقۡوَىٰۚ
lilttaqwa
for righteousness
لَهُم
lahum
For them
مَّغۡفِرَةٞ
maghfiratun
(is) forgiveness
وَأَجۡرٌ
wa-ajrun
and a reward
عَظِيمٌ
azimun
great
٣
49:4
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
يُنَادُونَكَ
yunadunaka
call you
مِن
min
from
وَرَآءِ
warai
behind
ٱلۡحُجُرَٰتِ
al-hujurati
the private chambers
أَكۡثَرُهُمۡ
aktharuhum
most of them
لَا
la
(do) not
يَعۡقِلُونَ
ya'qiluna
understand
٤

49:5
وَلَوۡ
walaw
And if
أَنَّهُمۡ
annahum
they
صَبَرُواْ
sabaru
had been patient
حَتَّىٰ
hatta
until
تَخۡرُجَ
takhruja
you came out
إِلَيۡهِمۡ
ilayhim
to them
لَكَانَ
lakana
certainly it would be
خَيۡرٗا
khayran
better
لَّهُمۡۚ
lahum
for them
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
غَفُورٞ
ghafurun
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٞ
rahimun
Most Merciful
٥
49:6
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
O you who believe
ءَامَنُوٓاْ
amanu
O you who believe
إِن
in
If
جَآءَكُمۡ
jaakum
comes to you
فَاسِقُۢ
fasiqun
a wicked person
بِنَبَإٖ
binaba-in
with information
فَتَبَيَّنُوٓاْ
fatabayyanu
investigate
أَن
an
lest
تُصِيبُواْ
tusibu
you harm
قَوۡمَۢا
qawman
a people
بِجَهَٰلَةٖ
bijahalatin
in ignorance
فَتُصۡبِحُواْ
fatus'bihu
then you become
عَلَىٰ
ala
over
مَا
ma
what
فَعَلۡتُمۡ
fa'altum
you have done
نَٰدِمِينَ
nadimina
regretful
٦
49:7
وَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ
wa-i'lamu
And know
أَنَّ
anna
that
فِيكُمۡ
fikum
among you
رَسُولَ
rasula
(is the) Messenger of Allah
ٱللَّهِۚ
al-lahi
(is the) Messenger of Allah
لَوۡ
law
If
يُطِيعُكُمۡ
yuti'ukum
he were to obey you
فِي
fi
in
كَثِيرٖ
kathirin
much
مِّنَ
mina
of
ٱلۡأَمۡرِ
al-amri
the matter
لَعَنِتُّمۡ
la'anittum
surely you would be in difficulty
وَلَٰكِنَّ
walakinna
but
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
حَبَّبَ
habbaba
has endeared
إِلَيۡكُمُ
ilaykumu
to you
ٱلۡإِيمَٰنَ
al-imana
the Faith
وَزَيَّنَهُۥ
wazayyanahu
and has made it pleasing
فِي
fi
in
قُلُوبِكُمۡ
qulubikum
your hearts
وَكَرَّهَ
wakarraha
and has made hateful
إِلَيۡكُمُ
ilaykumu
to you
ٱلۡكُفۡرَ
al-kuf'ra
disbelief
وَٱلۡفُسُوقَ
wal-fusuqa
and defiance
وَٱلۡعِصۡيَانَۚ
wal-'is'yana
and disobedience
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
Those
هُمُ
humu
(are) they
ٱلرَّٰشِدُونَ
al-rashiduna
the guided ones
٧
49:8
فَضۡلٗا
fadlan
A Bounty
مِّنَ
mina
from Allah
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
from Allah
وَنِعۡمَةٗۚ
wani'matan
and favor
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
عَلِيمٌ
alimun
(is) All-Knower
حَكِيمٞ
hakimun
All-Wise
٨
49:9
وَإِن
wa-in
And if
طَآئِفَتَانِ
taifatani
two parties
مِنَ
mina
among
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
al-mu'minina
the believers
ٱقۡتَتَلُواْ
iq'tatalu
fight
فَأَصۡلِحُواْ
fa-aslihu
then make peace
بَيۡنَهُمَاۖ
baynahuma
between both of them
فَإِنۢ
fa-in
But if
بَغَتۡ
baghat
oppresses
إِحۡدَىٰهُمَا
ih'dahuma
one of them
عَلَى
ala
on
ٱلۡأُخۡرَىٰ
al-ukh'ra
the other
فَقَٰتِلُواْ
faqatilu
then fight
ٱلَّتِي
allati
one which
تَبۡغِي
tabghi
oppresses
حَتَّىٰ
hatta
until
تَفِيٓءَ
tafia
it returns
إِلَىٰٓ
ila
to
أَمۡرِ
amri
(the) command
ٱللَّهِۚ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
فَإِن
fa-in
Then if
فَآءَتۡ
faat
it returns
فَأَصۡلِحُواْ
fa-aslihu
then make peace
بَيۡنَهُمَا
baynahuma
between them
بِٱلۡعَدۡلِ
bil-'adli
with justice
وَأَقۡسِطُوٓاْۖ
wa-aqsitu
and act justly
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
يُحِبُّ
yuhibbu
loves
ٱلۡمُقۡسِطِينَ
al-muq'sitina
those who act justly
٩
49:10
إِنَّمَا
innama
Only
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ
al-mu'minuna
the believers
إِخۡوَةٞ
ikh'watun
(are) brothers
فَأَصۡلِحُواْ
fa-aslihu
so make peace
بَيۡنَ
bayna
between
أَخَوَيۡكُمۡۚ
akhawaykum
your brothers
وَٱتَّقُواْ
wa-ittaqu
and fear Allah
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
and fear Allah
لَعَلَّكُمۡ
la'allakum
so that you may
تُرۡحَمُونَ
tur'hamuna
receive mercy
١٠
49:11
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
O you who believe
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
O you who believe
لَا
la
(Let) not
يَسۡخَرۡ
yaskhar
ridicule
قَوۡمٞ
qawmun
a people
مِّن
min
[of]
قَوۡمٍ
qawmin
(another) people
عَسَىٰٓ
asa
perhaps
أَن
an
that
يَكُونُواْ
yakunu
they may be
خَيۡرٗا
khayran
better
مِّنۡهُمۡ
min'hum
than them
وَلَا
wala
and (let) not
نِسَآءٞ
nisaon
women
مِّن
min
[of]
نِّسَآءٍ
nisain
(other) women
عَسَىٰٓ
asa
perhaps
أَن
an
that
يَكُنَّ
yakunna
they may be
خَيۡرٗا
khayran
better
مِّنۡهُنَّۖ
min'hunna
than them
وَلَا
wala
And (do) not
تَلۡمِزُوٓاْ
talmizu
insult
أَنفُسَكُمۡ
anfusakum
yourselves
وَلَا
wala
and (do) not
تَنَابَزُواْ
tanabazu
call each other
بِٱلۡأَلۡقَٰبِۖ
bil-alqabi
by nicknames
بِئۡسَ
bi'sa
Wretched is
ٱلِٱسۡمُ
al-s'mu
the name
ٱلۡفُسُوقُ
al-fusuqu
(of) disobedience
بَعۡدَ
ba'da
after
ٱلۡإِيمَٰنِۚ
al-imani
the faith
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
لَّمۡ
lam
(does) not
يَتُبۡ
yatub
repent
فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
fa-ulaika
then those
هُمُ
humu
they
ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ
al-zalimuna
(are) the wrongdoers

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
O you who believe
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
O you who believe
ٱجۡتَنِبُواْ
ij'tanibu
Avoid
كَثِيرٗا
kathiran
much
مِّنَ
mina
of
ٱلظَّنِّ
al-zani
the assumption
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
بَعۡضَ
ba'da
some
ٱلظَّنِّ
al-zani
assumption
إِثۡمٞۖ
ith'mun
(is) sin
وَلَا
wala
And (do) not
تَجَسَّسُواْ
tajassasu
spy
وَلَا
wala
and (do) not
يَغۡتَب
yaghtab
backbite
بَّعۡضُكُم
ba'dukum
some of you
بَعۡضًاۚ
ba'dan
(to) others
أَيُحِبُّ
ayuhibbu
Would like
أَحَدُكُمۡ
ahadukum
one of you
أَن
an
to
يَأۡكُلَ
yakula
eat
لَحۡمَ
lahma
(the) flesh
أَخِيهِ
akhihi
(of) his brother
مَيۡتٗا
maytan
dead
فَكَرِهۡتُمُوهُۚ
fakarih'tumuhu
Nay you would hate it
وَٱتَّقُواْ
wa-ittaqu
And fear Allah
ٱللَّهَۚ
al-laha
And fear Allah
إِنَّ
inna
indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
تَوَّابٞ
tawwabun
(is) Oft-Returning
رَّحِيمٞ
rahimun
Most Merciful
١٢
49:13
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O mankind
ٱلنَّاسُ
al-nasu
O mankind
إِنَّا
inna
Indeed We
خَلَقۡنَٰكُم
khalaqnakum
created you
مِّن
min
from
ذَكَرٖ
dhakarin
a male
وَأُنثَىٰ
wa-untha
and a female
وَجَعَلۡنَٰكُمۡ
waja'alnakum
and We made you
شُعُوبٗا
shu'uban
nations
وَقَبَآئِلَ
waqabaila
and tribes
لِتَعَارَفُوٓاْۚ
lita'arafu
that you may know one another
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
أَكۡرَمَكُمۡ
akramakum
(the) most noble of you
عِندَ
inda
near
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
أَتۡقَىٰكُمۡۚ
atqakum
(is the) most righteous of you
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
عَلِيمٌ
alimun
(is) All-Knower
خَبِيرٞ
khabirun
All-Aware
١٣
49:14
۞قَالَتِ
qalati
Say
ٱلۡأَعۡرَابُ
al-a'rabu
the Bedouins
ءَامَنَّاۖ
amanna
We believe
قُل
qul
Say
لَّمۡ
lam
Not
تُؤۡمِنُواْ
tu'minu
you believe
وَلَٰكِن
walakin
but
قُولُوٓاْ
qulu
say
أَسۡلَمۡنَا
aslamna
We have submitted
وَلَمَّا
walamma
and has not yet
يَدۡخُلِ
yadkhuli
entered
ٱلۡإِيمَٰنُ
al-imanu
the faith
فِي
fi
in
قُلُوبِكُمۡۖ
qulubikum
your hearts
وَإِن
wa-in
But if
تُطِيعُواْ
tuti'u
you obey
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥ
warasulahu
and His Messenger
لَا
la
not
يَلِتۡكُم
yalit'kum
He will deprive you
مِّنۡ
min
of
أَعۡمَٰلِكُمۡ
a'malikum
your deeds
شَيۡـًٔاۚ
shayan
anything
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
غَفُورٞ
ghafurun
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٌ
rahimun
Most Merciful
١٤
49:15
إِنَّمَا
innama
Only
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ
al-mu'minuna
the believers
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
(are) those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
in Allah
وَرَسُولِهِۦ
warasulihi
and His Messenger
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
لَمۡ
lam
(do) not
يَرۡتَابُواْ
yartabu
doubt
وَجَٰهَدُواْ
wajahadu
but strive
بِأَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ
bi-amwalihim
with their wealth
وَأَنفُسِهِمۡ
wa-anfusihim
and their lives
فِي
fi
in
سَبِيلِ
sabili
(the) way
ٱللَّهِۚ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
Those
هُمُ
humu
[they]
ٱلصَّٰدِقُونَ
al-sadiquna
(are) the truthful
١٥
49:16
قُلۡ
qul
Say
أَتُعَلِّمُونَ
atu'allimuna
Will you acquaint
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
بِدِينِكُمۡ
bidinikum
with your religion
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
while Allah
يَعۡلَمُ
ya'lamu
knows
مَا
ma
what
فِي
fi
(is) in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَمَا
wama
and what
فِي
fi
(is) in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ
al-ardi
the earth
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
بِكُلِّ
bikulli
of every
شَيۡءٍ
shayin
thing
عَلِيمٞ
alimun
(is) All-Knower
١٦
49:17
يَمُنُّونَ
yamunnuna
They consider (it) a favor
عَلَيۡكَ
alayka
to you
أَنۡ
an
that
أَسۡلَمُواْۖ
aslamu
they have accepted Islam
قُل
qul
Say
لَّا
la
(Do) not
تَمُنُّواْ
tamunnu
consider a favor
عَلَيَّ
alayya
on me
إِسۡلَٰمَكُمۖ
is'lamakum
your Islam
بَلِ
bali
Nay
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
يَمُنُّ
yamunnu
has conferred a favor
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
alaykum
upon you
أَنۡ
an
that
هَدَىٰكُمۡ
hadakum
He has guided you
لِلۡإِيمَٰنِ
lil'imani
to the faith
إِن
in
if
كُنتُمۡ
kuntum
you are
صَٰدِقِينَ
sadiqina
truthful
١٧
49:18
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
يَعۡلَمُ
ya'lamu
knows
غَيۡبَ
ghayba
(the) unseen
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
(of) the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ
wal-ardi
and the earth
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
بَصِيرُۢ
basirun
(is) All-Seer
بِمَا
bima
of what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
ta'maluna
you do
