Firaun

O my people
أَلَيۡسَ
alaysa
Is not
لِي

for me
مُلۡكُ
mul'ku
(the) kingdom
مِصۡرَ
mis'ra
(of) Egypt
وَهَٰذِهِ
wahadhihi
and these
ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ
al-anharu
[the] rivers
تَجۡرِي
tajri
flowing
مِن
min
underneath me
تَحۡتِيٓۚ
tahti
underneath me
أَفَلَا
afala
Then do not
تُبۡصِرُونَ
tub'siruna
you see
٥١
43:52
أَمۡ
am
Or
أَنَا۠
ana
am I
خَيۡرٞ
khayrun
better
مِّنۡ
min
than
هَٰذَا
hadha
this
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
one who
هُوَ
huwa
he
مَهِينٞ
mahinun
(is) insignificant
وَلَا
wala
and hardly
يَكَادُ
yakadu
and hardly
يُبِينُ
yubinu
clear
٥٢
43:53
فَلَوۡلَآ
falawla
Then why not
أُلۡقِيَ
ul'qiya
are placed
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
on him
أَسۡوِرَةٞ
aswiratun
bracelets
مِّن
min
of
ذَهَبٍ
dhahabin
gold
أَوۡ
aw
or
جَآءَ
jaa
come
مَعَهُ
ma'ahu
with him
ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ
al-malaikatu
the Angels
مُقۡتَرِنِينَ
muq'tarinina
accompanying (him)
٥٣
43:54
فَٱسۡتَخَفَّ
fa-is'takhaffa
So he bluffed
قَوۡمَهُۥ
qawmahu
his people
فَأَطَاعُوهُۚ
fa-ata'uhu
and they obeyed him
إِنَّهُمۡ
innahum
Indeed they
كَانُواْ
kanu
were
قَوۡمٗا
qawman
a people
فَٰسِقِينَ
fasiqina
defiantly disobedient
٥٤
43:55
فَلَمَّآ
falamma
So when
ءَاسَفُونَا
asafuna
they angered Us
ٱنتَقَمۡنَا
intaqamna
We took retribution
مِنۡهُمۡ
min'hum
from them
فَأَغۡرَقۡنَٰهُمۡ
fa-aghraqnahum
and We drowned them
أَجۡمَعِينَ
ajma'ina
all
٥٥
43:56
فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمۡ
faja'alnahum
And We made them
سَلَفٗا
salafan
a precedent
وَمَثَلٗا
wamathalan
and an example
لِّلۡأٓخِرِينَ
lil'akhirina
for the later (generations)
٥٦
43:57
۞وَلَمَّا
walamma
And when
ضُرِبَ
duriba
is presented
ٱبۡنُ
ub'nu
(the) son
مَرۡيَمَ
maryama
(of) Maryam
مَثَلًا
mathalan
(as) an example
إِذَا
idha
behold
قَوۡمُكَ
qawmuka
Your people
مِنۡهُ
min'hu
about it
يَصِدُّونَ
yasidduna
laughed aloud
٥٧
43:58
وَقَالُوٓاْ
waqalu
And they said
ءَأَٰلِهَتُنَا
aalihatuna
Are our gods
خَيۡرٌ
khayrun
better
أَمۡ
am
or
هُوَۚ
huwa
he
مَا
ma
Not
ضَرَبُوهُ
darabuhu
they present it
لَكَ
laka
to you
إِلَّا
illa
except
جَدَلَۢاۚ
jadalan
(for) argument
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
هُمۡ
hum
they
قَوۡمٌ
qawmun
(are) a people
خَصِمُونَ
khasimuna
argumentative
٥٨
43:59
إِنۡ
in
Not
هُوَ
huwa
he
إِلَّا
illa
(was) except
عَبۡدٌ
abdun
a slave
أَنۡعَمۡنَا
an'amna
We bestowed Our favor
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
on him
وَجَعَلۡنَٰهُ
waja'alnahu
and We made him
مَثَلٗا
mathalan
an example
لِّبَنِيٓ
libani
for (the) Children of Israel
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
is'raila
for (the) Children of Israel
٥٩
43:60
وَلَوۡ
walaw
And if
نَشَآءُ
nashau
We willed
لَجَعَلۡنَا
laja'alna
surely We (could have) made
مِنكُم
minkum
among you
مَّلَٰٓئِكَةٗ
malaikatan
Angels
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
يَخۡلُفُونَ
yakhlufuna
succeeding
٦٠

43:61
وَإِنَّهُۥ
wa-innahu
And indeed it
لَعِلۡمٞ
la'il'mun
surely (is) a knowledge
لِّلسَّاعَةِ
lilssa'ati
of the Hour
فَلَا
fala
So (do) not
تَمۡتَرُنَّ
tamtarunna
(be) doubtful
بِهَا
biha
about it
وَٱتَّبِعُونِۚ
wa-ittabi'uni
and follow Me
هَٰذَا
hadha
This
صِرَٰطٞ
siratun
(is the) Path
مُّسۡتَقِيمٞ
mus'taqimun
Straight
٦١
43:62
وَلَا
wala
And (let) not
يَصُدَّنَّكُمُ
yasuddannakumu
avert you
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُۖ
al-shaytanu
the Shaitaan
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed he
لَكُمۡ
lakum
(is) for you
عَدُوّٞ
aduwwun
an enemy
مُّبِينٞ
mubinun
clear
٦٢
43:63
وَلَمَّا
walamma
And when
جَآءَ
jaa
came
عِيسَىٰ
isa
Isa
بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ
bil-bayinati
with clear proofs
قَالَ
qala
he said
قَدۡ
qad
Verily
جِئۡتُكُم
ji'tukum
I have come to you
بِٱلۡحِكۡمَةِ
bil-hik'mati
with wisdom
وَلِأُبَيِّنَ
wali-ubayyina
and that I make clear
لَكُم
lakum
to you
بَعۡضَ
ba'da
some
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
(of) that which
تَخۡتَلِفُونَ
takhtalifuna
you differ
فِيهِۖ
fihi
in it
فَٱتَّقُواْ
fa-ittaqu
So fear
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَأَطِيعُونِ
wa-ati'uni
and obey me
٦٣
43:64
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
هُوَ
huwa
He
رَبِّي
rabbi
(is) my Lord
وَرَبُّكُمۡ
warabbukum
and your Lord
فَٱعۡبُدُوهُۚ
fa-u'buduhu
so worship Him
هَٰذَا
hadha
This
صِرَٰطٞ
siratun
(is) a Path
مُّسۡتَقِيمٞ
mus'taqimun
Straight
٦٤
43:65
فَٱخۡتَلَفَ
fa-ikh'talafa
But differed
ٱلۡأَحۡزَابُ
al-ahzabu
the factions
مِنۢ
min
from
بَيۡنِهِمۡۖ
baynihim
among them
فَوَيۡلٞ
fawaylun
so woe
لِّلَّذِينَ
lilladhina
to those who
ظَلَمُواْ
zalamu
wronged
مِنۡ
min
from
عَذَابِ
adhabi
(the) punishment
يَوۡمٍ
yawmin
(of the) Day
أَلِيمٍ
alimin
painful
٦٥
43:66
هَلۡ
hal
Are
يَنظُرُونَ
yanzuruna
they waiting
إِلَّا
illa
except
ٱلسَّاعَةَ
al-sa'ata
(for) the Hour
أَن
an
that
تَأۡتِيَهُم
tatiyahum
it should come on them
بَغۡتَةٗ
baghtatan
suddenly
وَهُمۡ
wahum
while they
لَا
la
(do) not
يَشۡعُرُونَ
yash'uruna
perceive
٦٦
43:67
ٱلۡأَخِلَّآءُ
al-akhilau
Friends
يَوۡمَئِذِۭ
yawma-idhin
that Day
بَعۡضُهُمۡ
ba'duhum
some of them
لِبَعۡضٍ
liba'din
to others
عَدُوٌّ
aduwwun
(will be) enemies
إِلَّا
illa
except
ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ
al-mutaqina
the righteous
٦٧
43:68
يَٰعِبَادِ
ya'ibadi
O My slaves
لَا
la
No
خَوۡفٌ
khawfun
fear
عَلَيۡكُمُ
alaykumu
on you
ٱلۡيَوۡمَ
al-yawma
this Day
وَلَآ
wala
and not
أَنتُمۡ
antum
you
تَحۡزَنُونَ
tahzanuna
will grieve
٦٨
43:69
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
Those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believed
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
biayatina
in Our Verses
وَكَانُواْ
wakanu
and were
مُسۡلِمِينَ
mus'limina
submissive
٦٩
43:70
ٱدۡخُلُواْ
ud'khulu
Enter
ٱلۡجَنَّةَ
al-janata
Paradise
أَنتُمۡ
antum
you
وَأَزۡوَٰجُكُمۡ
wa-azwajukum
and your spouses
تُحۡبَرُونَ
tuh'baruna
delighted
٧٠
43:71
يُطَافُ
yutafu
Will be circulated
عَلَيۡهِم
alayhim
for them
بِصِحَافٖ
bisihafin
plates
مِّن
min
of
ذَهَبٖ
dhahabin
gold
وَأَكۡوَابٖۖ
wa-akwabin
and cups
وَفِيهَا
wafiha
And therein
مَا
ma
(is) what
تَشۡتَهِيهِ
tashtahihi
desires
ٱلۡأَنفُسُ
al-anfusu
the souls
وَتَلَذُّ
wataladhu
and delights
ٱلۡأَعۡيُنُۖ
al-a'yunu
the eyes
وَأَنتُمۡ
wa-antum
and you
فِيهَا
fiha
therein
خَٰلِدُونَ
khaliduna
will abide forever
٧١
43:72
وَتِلۡكَ
watil'ka
And this
ٱلۡجَنَّةُ
al-janatu
(is) the Paradise
ٱلَّتِيٓ
allati
which
أُورِثۡتُمُوهَا
urith'tumuha
you are made to inherit
بِمَا
bima
for what
كُنتُمۡ
kuntum
you used to
تَعۡمَلُونَ
ta'maluna
do
٧٢
43:73
لَكُمۡ
lakum
For you
فِيهَا
fiha
therein
فَٰكِهَةٞ
fakihatun
(are) fruits
كَثِيرَةٞ
kathiratun
abundant
مِّنۡهَا
min'ha
from it
تَأۡكُلُونَ
takuluna
you will eat
٧٣

43:74
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ
al-muj'rimina
the criminals
فِي
fi
(will be) in
عَذَابِ
adhabi
(the) punishment
جَهَنَّمَ
jahannama
(of) Hell
خَٰلِدُونَ
khaliduna
abiding forever
٧٤
43:75
لَا
la
Not
يُفَتَّرُ
yufattaru
will it subside
عَنۡهُمۡ
anhum
for them
وَهُمۡ
wahum
and they
فِيهِ
fihi
in it
مُبۡلِسُونَ
mub'lisuna
(will) despair
٧٥
43:76
وَمَا
wama
And not
ظَلَمۡنَٰهُمۡ
zalamnahum
We wronged them
وَلَٰكِن
walakin
but
كَانُواْ
kanu
they were
هُمُ
humu
themselves
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
al-zalimina
wrongdoers
٧٦
43:77
وَنَادَوۡاْ
wanadaw
And they will call
يَٰمَٰلِكُ
yamaliku
O Malik
لِيَقۡضِ
liyaqdi
Let put an end
عَلَيۡنَا
alayna
to us
رَبُّكَۖ
rabbuka
your Lord
قَالَ
qala
He (will) say
إِنَّكُم
innakum
Indeed you
مَّٰكِثُونَ
makithuna
(will) remain
٧٧
43:78
لَقَدۡ
laqad
Certainly
جِئۡنَٰكُم
ji'nakum
We have brought you
بِٱلۡحَقِّ
bil-haqi
the truth
وَلَٰكِنَّ
walakinna
but
أَكۡثَرَكُمۡ
aktharakum
most of you
لِلۡحَقِّ
lil'haqqi
to the truth
كَٰرِهُونَ
karihuna
(are) averse
٧٨
43:79
أَمۡ
am
Or
أَبۡرَمُوٓاْ
abramu
have they determined
أَمۡرٗا
amran
an affair
فَإِنَّا
fa-inna
Then indeed We
مُبۡرِمُونَ
mub'rimuna
(are) determined
٧٩
43:80
أَمۡ
am
Or
يَحۡسَبُونَ
yahsabuna
(do) they think
أَنَّا
anna
that We
لَا
la
(can) not
نَسۡمَعُ
nasma'u
hear
سِرَّهُمۡ
sirrahum
their secret(s)
وَنَجۡوَىٰهُمۚ
wanajwahum
and their private counsel(s)
بَلَىٰ
bala
Nay
وَرُسُلُنَا
warusuluna
and Our Messengers
لَدَيۡهِمۡ
ladayhim
with them
يَكۡتُبُونَ
yaktubuna
are recording
٨٠
43:81
قُلۡ
qul
Say
إِن
in
If
كَانَ
kana
had
لِلرَّحۡمَٰنِ
lilrrahmani
the Most Gracious
وَلَدٞ
waladun
a son
فَأَنَا۠
fa-ana
Then I
أَوَّلُ
awwalu
(would be the) first
ٱلۡعَٰبِدِينَ
al-'abidina
(of) the worshippers
٨١
43:82
سُبۡحَٰنَ
sub'hana
Glory be
رَبِّ
rabbi
(to the) Lord
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
(of) the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ
wal-ardi
and the earth
رَبِّ
rabbi
(the) Lord
ٱلۡعَرۡشِ
al-'arshi
(of) the Throne
عَمَّا
amma
above what
يَصِفُونَ
yasifuna
they ascribe
٨٢
43:83
فَذَرۡهُمۡ
fadharhum
So leave them
يَخُوضُواْ
yakhudu
(to) converse vainly
وَيَلۡعَبُواْ
wayal'abu
and play
حَتَّىٰ
hatta
until
يُلَٰقُواْ
yulaqu
they meet
يَوۡمَهُمُ
yawmahumu
their Day
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
which
يُوعَدُونَ
yu'aduna
they are promised
٨٣
43:84
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
And He
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
(is) the One Who
فِي
fi
(is) in
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
al-samai
the heaven
إِلَٰهٞ
ilahun
God
وَفِي
wafi
and in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
إِلَٰهٞۚ
ilahun
God
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
And He
ٱلۡحَكِيمُ
al-hakimu
(is) the All-Wise
ٱلۡعَلِيمُ
al-'alimu
the All-Knower
٨٤
43:85
وَتَبَارَكَ
watabaraka
And blessed (is)
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
the One Who
لَهُۥ
lahu
to Whom
مُلۡكُ
mul'ku
(belongs the) dominion
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
(of) the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ
wal-ardi
and the earth
وَمَا
wama
and whatever
بَيۡنَهُمَا
baynahuma
(is) between both of them
وَعِندَهُۥ
wa'indahu
and with Him
عِلۡمُ
il'mu
(is the) knowledge
ٱلسَّاعَةِ
al-sa'ati
(of) the Hour
وَإِلَيۡهِ
wa-ilayhi
and to Him
تُرۡجَعُونَ
tur'ja'una
you will be returned
٨٥
43:86
وَلَا
wala
And not
يَمۡلِكُ
yamliku
have power
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those whom
يَدۡعُونَ
yad'una
they invoke
مِن
min
besides Him
دُونِهِ
dunihi
besides Him
ٱلشَّفَٰعَةَ
al-shafa'ata
(for) the intercession
إِلَّا
illa
except
مَن
man
who
شَهِدَ
shahida
testifies
بِٱلۡحَقِّ
bil-haqi
to the truth
وَهُمۡ
wahum
and they
يَعۡلَمُونَ
ya'lamuna
know
٨٦
43:87
وَلَئِن
wala-in
And if
سَأَلۡتَهُم
sa-altahum
you ask them
مَّنۡ
man
who
خَلَقَهُمۡ
khalaqahum
created them
لَيَقُولُنَّ
layaqulunna
they will certainly say
ٱللَّهُۖ
al-lahu
Allah
فَأَنَّىٰ
fa-anna
Then how
يُؤۡفَكُونَ
yu'fakuna
are they deluded
٨٧
43:88
وَقِيلِهِۦ
waqilihi
And his saying
يَٰرَبِّ
yarabbi
O my Lord
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
haulai
these
قَوۡمٞ
qawmun
(are) a people
لَّا
la
(who do) not
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yu'minuna
believe
٨٨
43:89
فَٱصۡفَحۡ
fa-is'fah
So turn away
عَنۡهُمۡ
anhum
from them
وَقُلۡ
waqul
and say
سَلَٰمٞۚ
salamun
Peace
فَسَوۡفَ
fasawfa
But soon
يَعۡلَمُونَ
ya'lamuna
they will know
٨٩
