Wa-naadaa
And called out
فِرۡعَوۡنُ
Firʻawnu
Firaun
فِي

قَوۡمِهِۦ

يَٰقَوۡمِ
yaa-q̣awmi
O my people
أَلَيۡسَ
ʹalaysa
Is not
لِي
lee
for me
مُلۡكُ
mulku
(the) kingdom
مِصۡرَ
Miṣra
(of) Egypt
وَهَٰذِهِ
wa-haaẓihil
and these
ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ
ʹanhaaru
[the] rivers
تَجۡرِي
tajree
flowing
مِن
miñ
underneath me
تَحۡتِيٓۚ
taḥtee?
underneath me
أَفَلَا
ʹAfalaa
Then do not
تُبۡصِرُونَ
tubṣiroon?
you see

43:52
أَمۡ
ʹAm
Or
أَنَا۠
ʹana
am I
خَيۡرٞ
khayrum
better
مِّنۡ
min
than
هَٰذَا
haaẓal
this
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
one who
هُوَ
huwa
he
مَهِينٞ
maheenuñw
(is) insignificant
وَلَا
walaa
and hardly
يَكَادُ
yakaadu
and hardly
يُبِينُ
yubeen?
clear
٥٢
43:53
فَلَوۡلَآ
Falawlaaa
Then why not
أُلۡقِيَ
ʹulq̣iya
are placed
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhi
on him
أَسۡوِرَةٞ
ʹaswiratum
bracelets
مِّن
miñ
of
ذَهَبٍ
ẓahabin
gold
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
جَآءَ
jaaaʹa
come
مَعَهُ
maʻahul
with him
ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ
malaaaʹikatu
the Angels
مُقۡتَرِنِينَ
muq̣tarineen?
accompanying (him)
٥٣
43:54
فَٱسۡتَخَفَّ
Fastakhaffa
So he bluffed
قَوۡمَهُۥ
q̣awmahoo
his people
فَأَطَاعُوهُۚ
faʹaṭaaʻooh:
and they obeyed him
إِنَّهُمۡ
ʹinnahum
Indeed they
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
were
قَوۡمٗا
q̣awmañ
a people
فَٰسِقِينَ
faasiq̣een.
defiantly disobedient
٥٤
43:55
فَلَمَّآ
Falammaaa
So when
ءَاسَفُونَا
ʹaasafoonañ
they angered Us
ٱنتَقَمۡنَا
taq̣amnaa
We took retribution
مِنۡهُمۡ
minhum
from them
فَأَغۡرَقۡنَٰهُمۡ
faʹag̣raq̣naahum
and We drowned them
أَجۡمَعِينَ
ʹajmaʻeen.
all
٥٥
43:56
فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمۡ
Fajaʻalnaahum
And We made them
سَلَفٗا
Salafañw
a precedent
وَمَثَلٗا
Wa-Mas̤alal
and an example
لِّلۡأٓخِرِينَ
lil-ʹaakhireen.
for the later (generations)
٥٦
43:57
۞وَلَمَّا
Wa-lammaa
And when
ضُرِبَ
ḍuribab
is presented
ٱبۡنُ
nu
(the) son
مَرۡيَمَ
Maryama
(of) Maryam
مَثَلًا
mas̤alan
(as) an example
إِذَا
ʹiẓaa
behold
قَوۡمُكَ
q̣awmuka
Your people
مِنۡهُ
minhu
about it
يَصِدُّونَ
yaṣiddoon!
laughed aloud
٥٧
43:58
وَقَالُوٓاْ
Wa-q̣aalooo
And they said
ءَأَٰلِهَتُنَا
ʹa-ʹaalihatunaa
Are our gods
خَيۡرٌ
khayrun
better
أَمۡ
ʹam
or
هُوَۚ
hoo?
he
مَا
Maa-
Not
ضَرَبُوهُ
ḍaraboohu
they present it
لَكَ
laka
to you
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
جَدَلَۢاۚ
jadalaa:
(for) argument
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
هُمۡ
hum
they
قَوۡمٌ
q̣awmun
(are) a people
خَصِمُونَ
khaṣimoon.

43:59
إِنۡ
ʹIn
Not
هُوَ
huwa
he
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
(was) except
عَبۡدٌ
ʻabdun
a slave
أَنۡعَمۡنَا
ʹanʻamnaa
We bestowed Our favor
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhi
on him
وَجَعَلۡنَٰهُ
wa-jaʻalnaahu
and We made him
مَثَلٗا
mas̤alal
an example
لِّبَنِيٓ
li-Baneee
for (the) Children of Israel
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
ʹIsraaaʹeel.
for (the) Children of Israel
٥٩
43:60
وَلَوۡ
Wa-law
And if
نَشَآءُ
nashaaaʹu
We willed
لَجَعَلۡنَا
lajaʻalnaa
surely We (could have) made
مِنكُم
miñkum
among you
مَّلَٰٓئِكَةٗ
malaaaʹikatañ
Angels
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
يَخۡلُفُونَ
yakhlufoon.

43:61
وَإِنَّهُۥ
Wa-ʹinnahoo
And indeed it
لَعِلۡمٞ
laʻilmul
surely (is) a knowledge
لِّلسَّاعَةِ
lis-Saaʻati
of the Hour
فَلَا
falaa
So (do) not
تَمۡتَرُنَّ
tamtarunna
(be) doubtful
بِهَا
bihaa
about it
وَٱتَّبِعُونِۚ
wattabiʻoon:
and follow Me
هَٰذَا
haaẓaa
This
صِرَٰطٞ
Ṣiraṭum
(is the) Path
مُّسۡتَقِيمٞ
Mustaq̣eem.
Straight
٦١
43:62
وَلَا
Wa-laa
And (let) not
يَصُدَّنَّكُمُ
yaṣuddannakumush
avert you
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُۖ
Shayṭaan:
the Shaitaan
إِنَّهُۥ
ʹinnahoo
Indeed he
لَكُمۡ
lakum
(is) for you
عَدُوّٞ
ʻaduwwum
an enemy
مُّبِينٞ
mubeen.

43:63
وَلَمَّا
Wa-lammaa
And when
جَآءَ
jaaaʹa
came
عِيسَىٰ
ʻEesaa
Isa
بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ
bil-Bayyinaati
with clear proofs
قَالَ
q̣aala
he said
قَدۡ
q̣ad
Verily
جِئۡتُكُم
jiʹtukum̃
I have come to you
بِٱلۡحِكۡمَةِ
bil-Ḥikmati
with wisdom
وَلِأُبَيِّنَ
wa-liʹubayyina
and that I make clear
لَكُم
lakum
to you
بَعۡضَ
baʻḍal
some
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
(of) that which
تَخۡتَلِفُونَ
takhtalifoona
you differ
فِيهِۖ
feeh:
in it
فَٱتَّقُواْ
fattaq̣ul
So fear
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
وَأَطِيعُونِ
wa-ʹaṭeeʻoon.
and obey me
٦٣
43:64
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
هُوَ
Huwa
He
رَبِّي
Rabbee
(is) my Lord
وَرَبُّكُمۡ
wa-Rabbukum
and your Lord
فَٱعۡبُدُوهُۚ
faʻbudooh:
so worship Him
هَٰذَا
haaẓaa
This
صِرَٰطٞ
Ṣiraaṭum
(is) a Path
مُّسۡتَقِيمٞ
Mustaq̣eem.
Straight
٦٤
43:65
فَٱخۡتَلَفَ
Fakhtalafal
But differed
ٱلۡأَحۡزَابُ
ʹaḥzaabu
the factions
مِنۢ
mim
from
بَيۡنِهِمۡۖ
baynihim:
among them
فَوَيۡلٞ
fawaylul
so woe
لِّلَّذِينَ
lil-laẓeena
to those who
ظَلَمُواْ
z̤̣alamoo
wronged
مِنۡ
min
from
عَذَابِ
ʻaẓaabi
(the) punishment
يَوۡمٍ
Yawmin
(of the) Day
أَلِيمٍ
ʹAleem!
painful
٦٥
43:66
هَلۡ
Hal
Are
يَنظُرُونَ
yañz̤̣uroona
they waiting
إِلَّا
ʹillas
except
ٱلسَّاعَةَ
Saaʻata
(for) the Hour
أَن
ʹañ
that
تَأۡتِيَهُم
taʹtiyahum̃
it should come on them
بَغۡتَةٗ
bag̣tatañw
suddenly
وَهُمۡ
wahum
while they
لَا
laa-
(do) not
يَشۡعُرُونَ
yashʻuroon?
perceive
٦٦
43:67
ٱلۡأَخِلَّآءُ
ʹAlʹakhillaaaʹu
Friends
يَوۡمَئِذِۭ
Yawmaʹizim
that Day
بَعۡضُهُمۡ
baʻḍuhum
some of them
لِبَعۡضٍ
libaʻḍin
to others
عَدُوٌّ
ʻaduwwun
(will be) enemies
إِلَّا
ʹillal
except
ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ
Muttaq̣een.
the righteous
٦٧
43:68
يَٰعِبَادِ
Yaa-ʻibaadi
O My slaves
لَا
laa-
No
خَوۡفٌ
khawfun
fear
عَلَيۡكُمُ
ʻalaykumul
on you
ٱلۡيَوۡمَ
Yawma
this Day
وَلَآ
wa-laaa
and not
أَنتُمۡ
ʹañtum
you
تَحۡزَنُونَ
taḥzanoon,―
will grieve
٦٨
43:69
ٱلَّذِينَ
ʹAllaẓeena
Those who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believed
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
biʹAayaatinaa
in Our Verses
وَكَانُواْ
wa-kaanoo
and were
مُسۡلِمِينَ
Muslimeen.
submissive
٦٩
43:70
ٱدۡخُلُواْ
ʹUdkhulul
Enter
ٱلۡجَنَّةَ
Jannata
Paradise
أَنتُمۡ
ʹañtum
you
وَأَزۡوَٰجُكُمۡ
wa-ʹazwaajukum
and your spouses
تُحۡبَرُونَ
tuḥbaroon.
delighted
٧٠
43:71
يُطَافُ
Yuṭaafu
Will be circulated
عَلَيۡهِم
ʻalayhim̃
for them
بِصِحَافٖ
biṣiḥaafim
plates
مِّن
miñ
of
ذَهَبٖ
ẓahabiñw
gold
وَأَكۡوَابٖۖ
waʹakwaab:
and cups
وَفِيهَا
wafeehaa
And therein
مَا
maa-
(is) what
تَشۡتَهِيهِ
tashtaheehil
desires
ٱلۡأَنفُسُ
ʹañfusu
the souls
وَتَلَذُّ
wa-talaẓẓul
and delights
ٱلۡأَعۡيُنُۖ
ʹaʻyun:
the eyes
وَأَنتُمۡ
wa-ʹañtum
and you
فِيهَا
feehaa
therein
خَٰلِدُونَ
khaalidoon.
will abide forever
٧١
43:72
وَتِلۡكَ
Wa-tilkal
And this
ٱلۡجَنَّةُ
Jannatul
(is) the Paradise
ٱلَّتِيٓ
lateee
which
أُورِثۡتُمُوهَا
ʹooris̤tumoohaa
you are made to inherit
بِمَا
bimaa
for what
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
you used to
تَعۡمَلُونَ
taʻmaloon.
do
٧٢
43:73
لَكُمۡ
Lakum
For you
فِيهَا
feeha
therein
فَٰكِهَةٞ
faakihatuñ
(are) fruits
كَثِيرَةٞ
kas̤eeratum
abundant
مِّنۡهَا
minhaa
from it
تَأۡكُلُونَ
taʹkuloon.
you will eat

إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ
mujrimeena
the criminals
فِي
fee
(will be) in
عَذَابِ
ʻaẓaabi
(the) punishment
جَهَنَّمَ
Jahannama
(of) Hell
خَٰلِدُونَ
khaalidoon.
abiding forever
٧٤
43:75
لَا
Laa-
Not
يُفَتَّرُ
yufattaru
will it subside
عَنۡهُمۡ
ʻanhum
for them
وَهُمۡ
wa-hum
and they
فِيهِ
feehi
in it
مُبۡلِسُونَ
mublisoon.
(will) despair
