41:2تَنزِيلٞtanzilunA revelationمِّنَminafromٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِal-rahmanithe Most Graciousٱلرَّحِيمِal-rahimithe Most Merciful٢
41:3كِتَٰبٞkitabunA Bookفُصِّلَتۡfussilatare detailedءَايَٰتُهُۥayatuhuits Versesقُرۡءَانًاqur'anana Quranعَرَبِيّٗاarabiyyan(in) Arabicلِّقَوۡمٖliqawminfor a peopleيَعۡلَمُونَya'lamuna(who) know٣
41:4بَشِيرٗاbashiranA giver of glad tidingsوَنَذِيرٗاwanadhiranand a warnerفَأَعۡرَضَfa-a'radabut turn awayأَكۡثَرُهُمۡaktharuhummost of themفَهُمۡfahumso theyلَاla(do) notيَسۡمَعُونَyasma'unahear٤
41:5وَقَالُواْwaqaluAnd they sayقُلُوبُنَاqulubunaOur heartsفِيٓfi(are) inأَكِنَّةٖakinnatincoveringsمِّمَّاmimmafrom whatتَدۡعُونَآtad'unayou call usإِلَيۡهِilayhito itوَفِيٓwafiand inءَاذَانِنَاadhaninaour earsوَقۡرٞwaqrun(is) deafnessوَمِنۢwaminand between usبَيۡنِنَاbayninaand between usوَبَيۡنِكَwabaynikaand between youحِجَابٞhijabun(is) a screenفَٱعۡمَلۡfa-i'malSo workإِنَّنَاinnanaindeed weعَٰمِلُونَamiluna(are) working٥
41:6قُلۡqulSayإِنَّمَآinnamaOnlyأَنَا۠anaI amبَشَرٞbasharuna manمِّثۡلُكُمۡmith'lukumlike youيُوحَىٰٓyuhait is revealedإِلَيَّilayyato meأَنَّمَآannamathatإِلَٰهُكُمۡilahukumyour godإِلَٰهٞilahun(is) GodوَٰحِدٞwahidunOneفَٱسۡتَقِيمُوٓاْfa-is'taqimuso take a Straight Pathإِلَيۡهِilayhito Himوَٱسۡتَغۡفِرُوهُۗwa-is'taghfiruhuand ask His forgivenessوَوَيۡلٞwawaylunAnd woeلِّلۡمُشۡرِكِينَlil'mush'rikinato the polytheists٦
41:7ٱلَّذِينَalladhinaThose whoلَاla(do) notيُؤۡتُونَyu'tunagiveٱلزَّكَوٰةَal-zakatathe zakahوَهُمwahumand theyبِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِbil-akhiratiin the Hereafterهُمۡhumtheyكَٰفِرُونَkafiruna(are) disbelievers٧
41:8إِنَّinnaIndeedٱلَّذِينَalladhinathose whoءَامَنُواْamanubelieveوَعَمِلُواْwa'amiluand doٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِal-salihatirighteous deedsلَهُمۡlahumfor themأَجۡرٌajrun(is) a rewardغَيۡرُghayrunever endingمَمۡنُونٖmamnuninnever ending٨
41:9۞قُلۡqulSayأَئِنَّكُمۡa-innakumDo you indeedلَتَكۡفُرُونَlatakfuruna[surely] disbelieveبِٱلَّذِيbi-alladhiin the One Whoخَلَقَkhalaqacreatedٱلۡأَرۡضَal-ardathe earthفِيfiinيَوۡمَيۡنِyawmaynitwo periodsوَتَجۡعَلُونَwataj'alunaand you set upلَهُۥٓlahuwith HimأَندَادٗاۚandadanrivalsذَٰلِكَdhalikaThatرَبُّrabbu(is the) Lordٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَal-'alamina(of) the worlds٩
41:10وَجَعَلَwaja'alaAnd He placedفِيهَاfihathereinرَوَٰسِيَrawasiyafirmly-set mountainsمِنminabove itفَوۡقِهَاfawqihaabove itوَبَٰرَكَwabarakaand He blessedفِيهَاfihathereinوَقَدَّرَwaqaddaraand determinedفِيهَآfihathereinأَقۡوَٰتَهَاaqwatahaits sustenanceفِيٓfiinأَرۡبَعَةِarba'atifourأَيَّامٖayyaminperiodsسَوَآءٗsawaanequalلِّلسَّآئِلِينَlilssailinafor those who ask١٠
41:11ثُمَّthummaThenٱسۡتَوَىٰٓis'tawaHe directed (Himself)إِلَىilatowardsٱلسَّمَآءِal-samaithe heavenوَهِيَwahiyawhile it (was)دُخَانٞdukhanunsmokeفَقَالَfaqalaand He saidلَهَاlahato itوَلِلۡأَرۡضِwalil'ardiand to the earthٱئۡتِيَاi'tiyaCome both of youطَوۡعًاtaw'anwillinglyأَوۡaworكَرۡهٗاkarhanunwillinglyقَالَتَآqalataThey both saidأَتَيۡنَاataynaWe comeطَآئِعِينَtai'inawillingly١١
41:12فَقَضَىٰهُنَّfaqadahunnaThen He completed themسَبۡعَsab'a(as) sevenسَمَٰوَاتٖsamawatinheavensفِيfiinيَوۡمَيۡنِyawmaynitwo periodsوَأَوۡحَىٰwa-awhaand He revealedفِيfiinكُلِّkullieachسَمَآءٍsamainheavenأَمۡرَهَاۚamrahaits affairوَزَيَّنَّاwazayyannaAnd We adornedٱلسَّمَآءَal-samaathe heavenٱلدُّنۡيَاal-dun'ya[the world]بِمَصَٰبِيحَbimasabihawith lampsوَحِفۡظٗاۚwahif'zanand (to) guardذَٰلِكَdhalikaThatتَقۡدِيرُtaqdiru(is the) Decreeٱلۡعَزِيزِal-'azizi(of) the All-Mightyٱلۡعَلِيمِal-'alimithe All-Knower١٢
41:13فَإِنۡfa-inBut ifأَعۡرَضُواْa'raduthey turn awayفَقُلۡfaqulthen sayأَنذَرۡتُكُمۡandhartukumI have warned youصَٰعِقَةٗsa'iqatan(of) a thunderboltمِّثۡلَmith'lalikeصَٰعِقَةِsa'iqati(the) thunderboltعَادٖadin(of) Aadوَثَمُودَwathamudaand Thamud١٣
41:14إِذۡidhWhenجَآءَتۡهُمُjaathumucame to themٱلرُّسُلُal-rusuluthe Messengersمِنۢminfrom before themبَيۡنِbaynifrom before themأَيۡدِيهِمۡaydihimfrom before themوَمِنۡwaminand fromخَلۡفِهِمۡkhalfihimbehind themأَلَّاalla(saying) Do notتَعۡبُدُوٓاْta'buduworshipإِلَّاillaexceptٱللَّهَۖal-lahaAllahقَالُواْqaluThey saidلَوۡlawIfشَآءَshaa(had) willedرَبُّنَاrabbunaour Lordلَأَنزَلَla-anzalasurely He (would have) sent downمَلَٰٓئِكَةٗmalaikatanAngelsفَإِنَّاfa-innaSo indeed weبِمَآbimain whatأُرۡسِلۡتُمur'sil'tumyou have been sentبِهِۦbihiwithكَٰفِرُونَkafiruna(are) disbelievers١٤
41:15فَأَمَّاfa-ammaThen as forعَادٞadunAadفَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْfa-is'takbaruthey were arrogantفِيfiinٱلۡأَرۡضِal-ardithe landبِغَيۡرِbighayriwithoutٱلۡحَقِّal-haqi[the] rightوَقَالُواْwaqaluand they saidمَنۡmanWhoأَشَدُّashaddu(is) mightierمِنَّاminnathan usقُوَّةًۖquwwatan(in) strengthأَوَلَمۡawalamDo notيَرَوۡاْyarawthey seeأَنَّannathatٱللَّهَal-lahaAllahٱلَّذِيalladhithe One Whoخَلَقَهُمۡkhalaqahumcreated themهُوَhuwaHeأَشَدُّashaddu(is) Mightierمِنۡهُمۡmin'humthan themقُوَّةٗۖquwwatan(in) strengthوَكَانُواْwakanuBut they used toبِـَٔايَٰتِنَاbiayatinain Our Signsيَجۡحَدُونَyajhadunadeny١٥
41:16فَأَرۡسَلۡنَاfa-arsalnaSo We sentعَلَيۡهِمۡalayhimupon themرِيحٗاrihana windصَرۡصَرٗاsarsaranfuriousفِيٓfiinأَيَّامٖayyamin(the) daysنَّحِسَاتٖnahisatin(of) misfortuneلِّنُذِيقَهُمۡlinudhiqahumthat We may make them tasteعَذَابَadhaba(the) punishmentٱلۡخِزۡيِal-khiz'yi(of) disgraceفِيfiinٱلۡحَيَوٰةِal-hayatithe lifeٱلدُّنۡيَاۖal-dun'ya(of) the worldوَلَعَذَابُwala'adhabuAnd surely (the) punishmentٱلۡأٓخِرَةِal-akhirati(of) the Hereafterأَخۡزَىٰۖakhza(is) more disgracingوَهُمۡwahumand theyلَاlawill not be helpedيُنصَرُونَyunsarunawill not be helped١٦
41:17وَأَمَّاwa-ammaAnd as forثَمُودُthamuduThamudفَهَدَيۡنَٰهُمۡfahadaynahumWe guided themفَٱسۡتَحَبُّواْfa-is'tahabbubut they preferredٱلۡعَمَىٰal-'ama[the] blindnessعَلَىalaoverٱلۡهُدَىٰal-hudathe guidanceفَأَخَذَتۡهُمۡfa-akhadhathumso seized themصَٰعِقَةُsa'iqatua thunderboltٱلۡعَذَابِal-'adhabi(of) the punishmentٱلۡهُونِal-hunihumiliatingبِمَاbimafor whatكَانُواْkanuthey used toيَكۡسِبُونَyaksibunaearn١٧
41:18وَنَجَّيۡنَاwanajjaynaAnd We savedٱلَّذِينَalladhinathose whoءَامَنُواْamanubelievedوَكَانُواْwakanuand used toيَتَّقُونَyattaqunafear (Allah)١٨
41:19وَيَوۡمَwayawmaAnd (the) Dayيُحۡشَرُyuh'sharuwill be gatheredأَعۡدَآءُa'dau(the) enemiesٱللَّهِal-lahi(of) Allahإِلَىilatoٱلنَّارِal-narithe Fireفَهُمۡfahumthen theyيُوزَعُونَyuza'unawill be assembled in rows١٩
41:20حَتَّىٰٓhattaUntilإِذَاidhawhenمَاmawhenجَآءُوهَاjauhathey come to itشَهِدَshahida(will) testifyعَلَيۡهِمۡalayhimagainst themسَمۡعُهُمۡsam'uhumtheir hearingوَأَبۡصَٰرُهُمۡwa-absaruhumand their sightوَجُلُودُهُمwajuluduhumand their skinsبِمَاbima(as) to whatكَانُواْkanuthey used toيَعۡمَلُونَya'malunado٢٠
41:21وَقَالُواْwaqaluAnd they will sayلِجُلُودِهِمۡlijuludihimto their skinsلِمَlimaWhy doشَهِدتُّمۡshahidttumyou testifyعَلَيۡنَاۖalaynaagainst usقَالُوٓاْqaluThey will sayأَنطَقَنَاantaqanaAllah made us speakٱللَّهُal-lahuAllah made us speakٱلَّذِيٓalladhithe One Whoأَنطَقَantaqamakes speakكُلَّkullaeveryشَيۡءٖۚshayinthingوَهُوَwahuwaand Heخَلَقَكُمۡkhalaqakumcreated youأَوَّلَawwala(the) firstمَرَّةٖmarratintimeوَإِلَيۡهِwa-ilayhiand to Himتُرۡجَعُونَtur'ja'unayou will be returned٢١
41:22وَمَاwamaAnd notكُنتُمۡkuntumyou wereتَسۡتَتِرُونَtastatirunacovering yourselvesأَنanlestيَشۡهَدَyashhadatestifyعَلَيۡكُمۡalaykumagainst youسَمۡعُكُمۡsam'ukumyour hearingوَلَآwalaand notأَبۡصَٰرُكُمۡabsarukumyour sightوَلَاwalaand notجُلُودُكُمۡjuludukumyour skinsوَلَٰكِنwalakinbutظَنَنتُمۡzanantumyou assumedأَنَّannathatٱللَّهَal-lahaAllahلَاla(does) notيَعۡلَمُya'lamuknowكَثِيرٗاkathiranmuchمِّمَّاmimmaof whatتَعۡمَلُونَta'malunayou do٢٢
41:23وَذَٰلِكُمۡwadhalikumAnd thatظَنُّكُمُzannukumu(was) your assumptionٱلَّذِيalladhiwhichظَنَنتُمzanantumyou assumedبِرَبِّكُمۡbirabbikumabout your LordأَرۡدَىٰكُمۡardakumIt has ruined youفَأَصۡبَحۡتُمfa-asbahtumand you have becomeمِّنَminaofٱلۡخَٰسِرِينَal-khasirinathe losers٢٣
41:24فَإِنfa-inThen ifيَصۡبِرُواْyasbiruthey endureفَٱلنَّارُfal-naruthe Fireمَثۡوٗىmathwan(is) an abodeلَّهُمۡۖlahumfor themوَإِنwa-inand ifيَسۡتَعۡتِبُواْyasta'tibuthey ask for favorفَمَاfamathen notهُمhumtheyمِّنَmina(will be) ofٱلۡمُعۡتَبِينَal-mu'tabinathose who receive favor٢٤
41:25۞وَقَيَّضۡنَاwaqayyadnaAnd We have destinedلَهُمۡlahumfor themقُرَنَآءَquranaacompanionsفَزَيَّنُواْfazayyanu(who) made fair-seemingلَهُمlahumto themمَّاmawhatبَيۡنَbayna(was) before themأَيۡدِيهِمۡaydihim(was) before themوَمَاwamaand whatخَلۡفَهُمۡkhalfahum(was) behind themوَحَقَّwahaqqaand (is) justifiedعَلَيۡهِمُalayhimuagainst themٱلۡقَوۡلُal-qawluthe Wordفِيٓfiamongأُمَمٖumaminnationsقَدۡqad(that have) passed awayخَلَتۡkhalat(that have) passed awayمِنminbefore themقَبۡلِهِمqablihimbefore themمِّنَminaofٱلۡجِنِّal-jinithe jinnوَٱلۡإِنسِۖwal-insiand the menإِنَّهُمۡinnahumIndeed theyكَانُواْkanuwereخَٰسِرِينَkhasirinalosers٢٥
41:26وَقَالَwaqalaAnd saidٱلَّذِينَalladhinathose whoكَفَرُواْkafarudisbelieveلَاla(Do) notتَسۡمَعُواْtasma'ulistenلِهَٰذَاlihadhato thisٱلۡقُرۡءَانِal-qur'aniQuranوَٱلۡغَوۡاْwal-ghawand make noiseفِيهِfihithereinلَعَلَّكُمۡla'allakumso that you mayتَغۡلِبُونَtaghlibunaovercome٢٦
41:27فَلَنُذِيقَنَّfalanudhiqannaBut surely We will cause to tasteٱلَّذِينَalladhinathose whoكَفَرُواْkafarudisbelieveعَذَابٗاadhabana punishmentشَدِيدٗاshadidansevereوَلَنَجۡزِيَنَّهُمۡwalanajziyannahumand surely We will recompense themأَسۡوَأَaswa-a(the) worstٱلَّذِيalladhi(of) whatكَانُواْkanuthey used toيَعۡمَلُونَya'malunado٢٧
41:28ذَٰلِكَdhalikaThatجَزَآءُjazau(is the) recompenseأَعۡدَآءِa'dai(of the) enemiesٱللَّهِal-lahi(of) Allah ٱلنَّارُۖal-naruthe Fireلَهُمۡlahumfor themفِيهَاfihathereinدَارُdaru(is the) homeٱلۡخُلۡدِal-khul'di(of) the eternityجَزَآءَۢjazaan(as) recompenseبِمَاbimafor whatكَانُواْkanuthey used toبِـَٔايَٰتِنَاbiayatinaof Our Versesيَجۡحَدُونَyajhadunareject٢٨
41:29وَقَالَwaqalaAnd (will) sayٱلَّذِينَalladhinathose whoكَفَرُواْkafarudisbelieveرَبَّنَآrabbanaOur LordأَرِنَاarinaShow usٱلَّذَيۡنِalladhaynithose whoأَضَلَّانَاadallanamisled usمِنَminaofٱلۡجِنِّal-jinithe jinnوَٱلۡإِنسِwal-insiand the menنَجۡعَلۡهُمَاnaj'alhuma(so) we may put themتَحۡتَtahtaunderأَقۡدَامِنَاaqdaminaour feetلِيَكُونَاliyakunathat they beمِنَminaofٱلۡأَسۡفَلِينَal-asfalinathe lowest٢٩
41:30إِنَّinnaIndeedٱلَّذِينَalladhinathose whoقَالُواْqalusayرَبُّنَاrabbunaOur Lordٱللَّهُal-lahu(is) Allahثُمَّthummathenٱسۡتَقَٰمُواْis'taqamustand firm تَتَنَزَّلُtatanazzaluwill descendعَلَيۡهِمُalayhimuon themٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُal-malaikatuthe Angelsأَلَّاalla(Do) notتَخَافُواْtakhafufearوَلَاwalaand (do) notتَحۡزَنُواْtahzanugrieveوَأَبۡشِرُواْwa-abshirubut receive the glad tidingsبِٱلۡجَنَّةِbil-janatiof Paradiseٱلَّتِيallatiwhichكُنتُمۡkuntumyou wereتُوعَدُونَtu'adunapromised٣٠
41:31نَحۡنُnahnuWeأَوۡلِيَآؤُكُمۡawliyaukum(are) your protectorsفِيfiinٱلۡحَيَوٰةِal-hayatithe lifeٱلدُّنۡيَاal-dun'ya(of) the worldوَفِيwafiand inٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۖal-akhiratithe HereafterوَلَكُمۡwalakumAnd for youفِيهَاfihathereinمَاmawhateverتَشۡتَهِيٓtashtahidesireأَنفُسُكُمۡanfusukumyour soulsوَلَكُمۡwalakumand for youفِيهَاfihathereinمَاmawhatتَدَّعُونَtadda'unayou ask٣١
41:32نُزُلٗاnuzulanA hospitable giftمِّنۡminfromغَفُورٖghafurin(the) Oft-Forgivingرَّحِيمٖrahimin(the) Most Merciful٣٢
41:33وَمَنۡwamanAnd whoأَحۡسَنُahsanu(is) betterقَوۡلٗاqawlan(in) speechمِّمَّنmimmanthan (one) whoدَعَآda'ainvitesإِلَىilatoٱللَّهِal-lahiAllahوَعَمِلَwa'amilaand doesصَٰلِحٗاsalihanrighteous (deeds)وَقَالَwaqalaand saysإِنَّنِيinnaniIndeed I amمِنَminaofٱلۡمُسۡلِمِينَal-mus'liminathose who submit٣٣
41:34وَلَاwalaAnd notتَسۡتَوِيtastawi(are) equalٱلۡحَسَنَةُal-hasanatuthe good (deed)وَلَاwalaandٱلسَّيِّئَةُۚal-sayi-atuthe evil (deed)ٱدۡفَعۡid'fa'Repelبِٱلَّتِيbi-allatiby (that) whichهِيَhiya[it]أَحۡسَنُahsanu(is) betterفَإِذَاfa-idhathen beholdٱلَّذِيalladhiOne whoبَيۡنَكَbaynakabetween youوَبَيۡنَهُۥwabaynahuand between himعَدَٰوَةٞadawatun(was) enmityكَأَنَّهُۥka-annahu(will become) as if heوَلِيٌّwaliyyun(was) a friendحَمِيمٞhamimunintimate٣٤
41:35وَمَاwamaAnd notيُلَقَّىٰهَآyulaqqahait is grantedإِلَّاillaexceptٱلَّذِينَalladhina(to) those whoصَبَرُواْsabaru(are) patientوَمَاwamaand notيُلَقَّىٰهَآyulaqqahait is grantedإِلَّاillaexceptذُوdhu(to the) ownerحَظٍّhazzin(of) fortuneعَظِيمٖazimingreat٣٥
41:36وَإِمَّاwa-immaAnd ifيَنزَغَنَّكَyanzaghannakawhisper comes to youمِنَminafromٱلشَّيۡطَٰنِal-shaytanithe Shaitaanنَزۡغٞnazghunan evil suggestionفَٱسۡتَعِذۡfa-is'ta'idhthen seek refugeبِٱللَّهِۖbil-lahiin AllahإِنَّهُۥinnahuIndeed Heهُوَhuwa[He]ٱلسَّمِيعُal-sami'u(is) the All-Hearerٱلۡعَلِيمُal-'alimuthe All-Knower٣٦
41:37وَمِنۡwaminAnd ofءَايَٰتِهِayatihiHis Signsٱلَّيۡلُal-laylu(are) the nightوَٱلنَّهَارُwal-naharuand the dayوَٱلشَّمۡسُwal-shamsuand the sunوَٱلۡقَمَرُۚwal-qamaruand the moonلَاla(Do) notتَسۡجُدُواْtasjuduprostrateلِلشَّمۡسِlilshamsito the sunوَلَاwalaand notلِلۡقَمَرِlil'qamarito the moonوَٱسۡجُدُواْۤwa-us'judubut prostrateلِلَّهِۤlillahito Allahٱلَّذِيalladhithe One Whoخَلَقَهُنَّkhalaqahunnacreated themإِنinifكُنتُمۡkuntumyouإِيَّاهُiyyahuHim aloneتَعۡبُدُونَta'budunaworship٣٧
41:38فَإِنِfa-iniBut ifٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْis'takbaruthey are arrogantفَٱلَّذِينَfa-alladhinathen those whoعِندَinda(are) nearرَبِّكَrabbikayour LordيُسَبِّحُونَyusabbihunaglorifyلَهُۥlahuHimبِٱلَّيۡلِbi-al-layliby nightوَٱلنَّهَارِwal-nahariand dayوَهُمۡwahumAnd theyلَاla(do) notيَسۡـَٔمُونَ۩yasamunatire٣٨
41:39وَمِنۡwaminAnd amongءَايَٰتِهِۦٓayatihiHis Signsأَنَّكَannaka(is) that youتَرَىtaraseeٱلۡأَرۡضَal-ardathe earthخَٰشِعَةٗkhashi'atanbarrenفَإِذَآfa-idhabut whenأَنزَلۡنَاanzalnaWe send downعَلَيۡهَاalayhaupon itٱلۡمَآءَal-maawaterٱهۡتَزَّتۡih'tazzatit is stirred (to life)وَرَبَتۡۚwarabatand growsإِنَّinnaIndeedٱلَّذِيٓalladhithe One Whoأَحۡيَاهَاahyahagives it lifeلَمُحۡيِlamuh'yi(is) surely the Giver of lifeٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰٓۚal-mawta(to) the deadإِنَّهُۥinnahuIndeed Heعَلَىٰala(is) onكُلِّkullieveryشَيۡءٖshayinthingقَدِيرٌqadirunAll-Powerful٣٩
41:40إِنَّinnaIndeedٱلَّذِينَalladhinathose whoيُلۡحِدُونَyul'hidunadistortفِيٓfi[in]ءَايَٰتِنَاayatinaOur Versesلَاla(are) notيَخۡفَوۡنَyakhfawnahiddenعَلَيۡنَآۗalaynafrom UsأَفَمَنafamanSo is (he) whoيُلۡقَىٰyul'qais castفِيfiinٱلنَّارِal-narithe Fireخَيۡرٌkhayrunbetterأَمamorمَّنman(he) whoيَأۡتِيٓyaticomesءَامِنٗاaminansecureيَوۡمَyawma(on the) Dayٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِۚal-qiyamati(of) Resurrectionٱعۡمَلُواْi'maluDoمَاmawhatشِئۡتُمۡshi'tumyou willإِنَّهُۥinnahuIndeed Heبِمَاbimaof whatتَعۡمَلُونَta'malunayou doبَصِيرٌbasirun(is) All-Seer٤٠
41:41إِنَّinnaIndeedٱلَّذِينَalladhinathose whoكَفَرُواْkafarudisbelieveبِٱلذِّكۡرِbil-dhik'riin the Reminderلَمَّاlammawhenجَآءَهُمۡۖjaahumit comes to themوَإِنَّهُۥwa-innahuAnd indeed itلَكِتَٰبٌlakitabun(is) surely a Bookعَزِيزٞazizunmighty٤١
41:42لَّاlaNotيَأۡتِيهِyatihicomes to itٱلۡبَٰطِلُal-batiluthe falsehoodمِنۢminfromبَيۡنِbaynibefore itيَدَيۡهِyadayhibefore itوَلَاwalaand notمِنۡminfromخَلۡفِهِۦۖkhalfihibehind itتَنزِيلٞtanzilunA Revelationمِّنۡminfromحَكِيمٍhakimin(the) All-Wiseحَمِيدٖhamidin(the) Praiseworthy٤٢
41:43مَّاmaNotيُقَالُyuqaluis saidلَكَlakato youإِلَّاillaexceptمَاmawhatقَدۡqadwas saidقِيلَqilawas saidلِلرُّسُلِlilrrusulito the Messengersمِنminbefore youقَبۡلِكَۚqablikabefore youإِنَّinnaIndeedرَبَّكَrabbakayour Lordلَذُوladhu(is) Possessorمَغۡفِرَةٖmaghfiratin(of) forgivenessوَذُوwadhuand Possessorعِقَابٍiqabin(of) penaltyأَلِيمٖaliminpainful٤٣
41:44وَلَوۡwalawAnd ifجَعَلۡنَٰهُja'alnahuWe (had) made itقُرۡءَانًاqur'anana Quranأَعۡجَمِيّٗاa'jamiyyan(in) a foreign (language)لَّقَالُواْlaqaluthey (would have) saidلَوۡلَاlawlaWhy notفُصِّلَتۡfussilatare explained in detailءَايَٰتُهُۥٓۖayatuhuits versesءَا۬عۡجَمِيّٞa'jamiyyun(Is it) a foreign (language)وَعَرَبِيّٞۗwa'arabiyyunand an ArabقُلۡqulSayهُوَhuwaIt (is)لِلَّذِينَlilladhinafor those whoءَامَنُواْamanubelieveهُدٗىhudana guidanceوَشِفَآءٞۚwashifaonand a healingوَٱلَّذِينَwa-alladhinaAnd those whoلَاla(do) notيُؤۡمِنُونَyu'minunabelieveفِيٓfiinءَاذَانِهِمۡadhanihimtheir earsوَقۡرٞwaqrun(is) deafnessوَهُوَwahuwaand itعَلَيۡهِمۡalayhim(is) for themعَمًىۚamanblindnessأُوْلَٰٓئِكَulaikaThoseيُنَادَوۡنَyunadawnaare being calledمِنminfromمَّكَانِۭmakanina placeبَعِيدٖba'idinfar٤٤
41:45وَلَقَدۡwalaqadAnd certainlyءَاتَيۡنَاataynaWe gaveمُوسَىmusaMusaٱلۡكِتَٰبَal-kitabathe Bookفَٱخۡتُلِفَfa-ukh'tulifabut disputes aroseفِيهِۚfihithereinوَلَوۡلَاwalawlaAnd had it not beenكَلِمَةٞkalimatun(for) a wordسَبَقَتۡsabaqat(that) precededمِنminfromرَّبِّكَrabbikayour Lordلَقُضِيَlaqudiyasurely would have been settledبَيۡنَهُمۡۚbaynahumbetween themوَإِنَّهُمۡwa-innahumBut indeed theyلَفِيlafisurely (are) inشَكّٖshakkindoubtمِّنۡهُmin'huabout itمُرِيبٖmuribindisquieting٤٥
41:46مَّنۡmanWhoeverعَمِلَamiladoesصَٰلِحٗاsalihanrighteous deedsفَلِنَفۡسِهِۦۖfalinafsihithen it is for his soulوَمَنۡwamanand whoeverأَسَآءَasaadoes evilفَعَلَيۡهَاۗfa'alayhathen it is against itوَمَاwamaAnd notرَبُّكَrabbuka(is) your Lordبِظَلَّٰمٖbizallaminunjustلِّلۡعَبِيدِlil'abidito His slaves٤٦
41:47۞إِلَيۡهِilayhiTo Himيُرَدُّyuradduis referredعِلۡمُil'mu(the) knowledgeٱلسَّاعَةِۚal-sa'ati(of) the HourوَمَاwamaAnd notتَخۡرُجُtakhrujucomes outمِنminanyثَمَرَٰتٖthamaratinfruitsمِّنۡminfromأَكۡمَامِهَاakmamihatheir coveringsوَمَاwamaand notتَحۡمِلُtahmilubearsمِنۡminanyأُنثَىٰunthafemaleوَلَاwalaand notتَضَعُtada'ugives birthإِلَّاillaexceptبِعِلۡمِهِۦۚbi'il'mihiwith His knowledgeوَيَوۡمَwayawmaAnd (the) DayيُنَادِيهِمۡyunadihimHe will call themأَيۡنَaynaWhere (are)شُرَكَآءِيshurakaiMy partnersقَالُوٓاْqaluThey will sayءَاذَنَّٰكَadhannakaWe announce (to) Youمَاmanotمِنَّاminnaamong usمِنminanyشَهِيدٖshahidinwitness٤٧
41:48وَضَلَّwadallaAnd lostعَنۡهُمanhumfrom themمَّاmawhatكَانُواْkanuthey wereيَدۡعُونَyad'unainvokingمِنminbeforeقَبۡلُۖqablubeforeوَظَنُّواْwazannuand they (will) be certainمَاma(that) notلَهُمlahumfor themمِّنminanyمَّحِيصٖmahisinplace of escape٤٨
41:49لَّاla(Does) notيَسۡـَٔمُyasamuget tiredٱلۡإِنسَٰنُal-insanumanمِنminofدُعَآءِdu'aiprayingٱلۡخَيۡرِal-khayri(for) the goodوَإِنwa-inbut ifمَّسَّهُmassahutouches himٱلشَّرُّal-sharuthe evilفَيَـُٔوسٞfayausunthen he gives up hopeقَنُوطٞqanutun(and) despairs٤٩
41:50وَلَئِنۡwala-inAnd verily ifأَذَقۡنَٰهُadhaqnahuWe let him tasteرَحۡمَةٗrahmatanmercyمِّنَّاminnafrom Usمِنۢminafterبَعۡدِba'diafterضَرَّآءَdarraaan adversityمَسَّتۡهُmassathu(has) touched himلَيَقُولَنَّlayaqulannahe will surely sayهَٰذَاhadhaThis (is)لِيli(due) to meوَمَآwamaand notأَظُنُّazunnuI thinkٱلسَّاعَةَal-sa'atathe Hourقَآئِمَةٗqaimatan(will be) establishedوَلَئِنwala-inand ifرُّجِعۡتُruji'tuI am returnedإِلَىٰilatoرَبِّيٓrabbimy Lordإِنَّinnaindeedلِيlifor meعِندَهُۥindahuwith Himلَلۡحُسۡنَىٰۚlalhus'na(will be) the bestفَلَنُنَبِّئَنَّfalanunabbi-annaBut We will surely informٱلَّذِينَalladhinathose whoكَفَرُواْkafarudisbelievedبِمَاbimaabout whatعَمِلُواْamiluthey didوَلَنُذِيقَنَّهُمwalanudhiqannahumand We will surely make them tasteمِّنۡminofعَذَابٍadhabina punishmentغَلِيظٖghalizinsevere٥٠
