ٱلۡحَقُّ

the truth

قَالُوٓاْ
q̣aalooo
they said
إِنَّ
ʹinna
Indeed
هَٰذَا
haaẓaa
this
لَسِحۡرٞ
lasiḥrum
(is) surely a magic
مُّبِينٞ
mubeen!

10:77
قَالَ
Q̣aala
Musa said
مُوسَىٰٓ
Moosaaa
Musa said
أَتَقُولُونَ
ʹataq̣ooloona
Do you say
لِلۡحَقِّ
lil-Ḥaq̣q̣i
about the truth
لَمَّا
lammaa
when
جَآءَكُمۡۖ
jaaaʹakum?
it has come to you
أَسِحۡرٌ
ʹA-siḥrun
Is this magic
هَٰذَا
haaẓaa?
Is this magic
وَلَا
Wa-laa
But (will) not
يُفۡلِحُ
yufliḥus
succeed
ٱلسَّٰحِرُونَ
saaḥiroon.
the magicians
٧٧
10:78
قَالُوٓاْ
Q̣aalooo
They said
أَجِئۡتَنَا
ʹajiʹtanaa
Have you come to us
لِتَلۡفِتَنَا
litalfitanaa
to turn us away
عَمَّا
ʻammaa
from that
وَجَدۡنَا
wajadnaa
we found
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhi
on it
ءَابَآءَنَا
ʹaabaaaʹanaa
our forefathers
وَتَكُونَ
wa-takoona
and you two (may) have
لَكُمَا
lakumal
and you two (may) have
ٱلۡكِبۡرِيَآءُ
kibriyaaaʹu
the greatness
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍ?
the land
وَمَا
Wa-maa
And we (are) not
نَحۡنُ
naḥnu
And we (are) not
لَكُمَا
lakumaa
(in) you two
بِمُؤۡمِنِينَ
bi-Muʹmineen!
believers
٧٨

10:79
وَقَالَ
Wa-q̣aala
And Firaun said
فِرۡعَوۡنُ
Firʻawnuʹ
And Firaun said
ٱئۡتُونِي
toonee
Bring to me
بِكُلِّ
bikulli
every
سَٰحِرٍ
saaḥirin
magician
عَلِيمٖ
ʻAleem.
learned
٧٩
10:80
فَلَمَّا
Falammaa
So when
جَآءَ
jaaaʹassa
came
ٱلسَّحَرَةُ
ḥaratu
the magicians
قَالَ
q̣aala
said
لَهُم
lahum
to them
مُّوسَىٰٓ
Moosaaa
Musa
أَلۡقُواْ
ʹalq̣oo
Throw
مَآ
maaa
whatever
أَنتُم
ʹañtum
you
مُّلۡقُونَ
mulq̣oon!
(wish to) throw
٨٠
10:81
فَلَمَّآ
Falammaaa
Then when
أَلۡقَوۡاْ
ʹalq̣aw
they (had) thrown
قَالَ
q̣aala
Musa said
مُوسَىٰ
Moosaa
Musa said
مَا
maa-
What
جِئۡتُم
jiʹtum̃
you have brought
بِهِ
bihis
[it]
ٱلسِّحۡرُۖ
siḥr:
(is) the magic
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
سَيُبۡطِلُهُۥٓ
sayubṭiluh:
will nullify it
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
لَا
laa-
(does) not
يُصۡلِحُ
yuṣliḥu
amend
عَمَلَ
ʻamalal
the work
ٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ
mufsideen.
(of) the corrupters
٨١
10:82
وَيُحِقُّ
Wa-yuḥiq̣q̣ul
And Allah will establish
ٱللَّهُ
laahul
And Allah will establish
ٱلۡحَقَّ
Ḥaq̣q̣a
the truth
بِكَلِمَٰتِهِۦ
bi-Kalimaatihee
by His words
وَلَوۡ
wa-law
even if
كَرِهَ
karihal
dislike it
ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ
mujrimoon!
the criminals
٨٢
10:83
فَمَآ
Famaaa
But none
ءَامَنَ
ʹaamana
believed
لِمُوسَىٰٓ
li-Moosaaa
Musa
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
ذُرِّيَّةٞ
ẓurriyyatum
(the) offspring
مِّن
miñ
among
قَوۡمِهِۦ
q̣awmihee
his people
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
for
خَوۡفٖ
khawfim
fear
مِّن
miñ
of
فِرۡعَوۡنَ
Firʻawna
Firaun
وَمَلَإِيْهِمۡ
wa-malaʹihim
and their chiefs
أَن
ʹañy
lest
يَفۡتِنَهُمۡۚ
yaftinahum;
they persecute them
وَإِنَّ
wa-ʹinna
And indeed
فِرۡعَوۡنَ
Firʻawna
Firaun
لَعَالٖ
laʻaaliñ
(was) a tyrant
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
وَإِنَّهُۥ
wa-ʹinnahoo
and indeed he
لَمِنَ
laminal
(was) of
ٱلۡمُسۡرِفِينَ
musrifeen.
the ones who commit excesses
٨٣
10:84
وَقَالَ
Wa-q̣aala
And Musa said
مُوسَىٰ
Moosaa
And Musa said
يَٰقَوۡمِ
yaa-q̣awmi
O my people
إِن
ʹiñ
If
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
you have
ءَامَنتُم
ʹaamañtum
believed
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
in Allah
فَعَلَيۡهِ
faʻalayhi
then on Him
تَوَكَّلُوٓاْ
tawakkalooo
put your trust
إِن
ʹiñ
if
كُنتُم
kuñtum
you are
مُّسۡلِمِينَ
Muslimeen.
Muslims
٨٤
10:85
فَقَالُواْ
Faq̣aaloo
Then they said
عَلَى
ʻalal
Upon
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
تَوَكَّلۡنَا
tawakkalnaa.
we put our trust
رَبَّنَا
Rabbanaa
Our Lord
لَا
laa-
(Do) not
تَجۡعَلۡنَا
tajʻalnaa
make us
فِتۡنَةٗ
fitnatal
a trial
لِّلۡقَوۡمِ
lilq̣awmiz̤̣
for the people
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
z̤̣aalimeen;
the wrongdoers
٨٥
10:86
وَنَجِّنَا
Wa-najjinaa
And save us
بِرَحۡمَتِكَ
bi-Raḥmatika
by Your Mercy
مِنَ
minal
from
ٱلۡقَوۡمِ
q̣awmil
the people
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
kaafireen.
the disbelievers
٨٦
10:87
وَأَوۡحَيۡنَآ
Wa-ʹawḥaynaaa
And We inspired
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
مُوسَىٰ
Moosaa
Musa
وَأَخِيهِ
wa-ʹakheehi
and his brother
أَن
ʹañ
that
تَبَوَّءَا
tabaw
Settle
لِقَوۡمِكُمَا
waʹaali-Q̣awmikumaa
your people
بِمِصۡرَ
bi-Miṣra
in Egypt
بُيُوتٗا
buyootañw
(in) houses
وَٱجۡعَلُواْ
wajʻaloo
and make
بُيُوتَكُمۡ
buyootakum
your houses
قِبۡلَةٗ
Q̣iblatañw
(as) places of worship
وَأَقِيمُواْ
Waʹaq̣eemuṣ
and establish
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَۗ
Ṣalaah:
the prayer
وَبَشِّرِ
wa-bashshiril
And give glad tidings
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
Muʹmineen!
(to) the believers
٨٧
10:88
وَقَالَ
Wa-q̣aala
And Musa said
مُوسَىٰ
Moosaa
And Musa said
رَبَّنَآ
Rabbanaaa
Our Lord
إِنَّكَ
ʹinnaka
Indeed You
ءَاتَيۡتَ
ʹaatayta
have given
فِرۡعَوۡنَ
Firʻawna
Firaun
وَمَلَأَهُۥ
wa-malaʹahoo
and his chiefs
زِينَةٗ
zeenatañw
splendor
وَأَمۡوَٰلٗا
waʹamwaalañ
and wealth
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ
Ḥayaatid
the life
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
dunyaa
(of) the world
رَبَّنَا
Rabbanaa
Our Lord
لِيُضِلُّواْ
liyuḍilloo
That they may lead astray
عَن
ʻañ
from
سَبِيلِكَۖ
Sabeelik.
Your way
رَبَّنَا
Rabbanaṭ
Our Lord
ٱطۡمِسۡ
mis
Destroy
عَلَىٰٓ
ʻalaaa
[on]
أَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ
ʹamwaalihim
their wealth
وَٱشۡدُدۡ
washdud
and harden
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
[on]
قُلُوبِهِمۡ
q̣uloobihim
their hearts
فَلَا
falaa
so (that) not
يُؤۡمِنُواْ
yuʹminoo
they believe
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattaa
until
يَرَوُاْ
yarawul
they see
ٱلۡعَذَابَ
ʻaẓaabal
the punishment
ٱلۡأَلِيمَ
ʹaleem.
the painful
٨٨

10:89
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
قَدۡ
q̣ad
Verily
أُجِيبَت
ʹujeebad
has been answered
دَّعۡوَتُكُمَا
Daʻwatukumaa
(the) invocation of both of you
فَٱسۡتَقِيمَا
fastaq̣eemaa
So you two (keep to the) straight way
وَلَا
wa-laa
And (do) not
تَتَّبِعَآنِّ
tattabiʻaaanni
follow
سَبِيلَ
sabeelal
(the) way
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
(of) those who
لَا
laa-
(do) not
يَعۡلَمُونَ
yaʻlamoon.
know
٨٩
10:90
۞وَجَٰوَزۡنَا
Wa-jaawaznaa
And We took across
بِبَنِيٓ
bi-Baneee
(the) Children
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
ʹIsraaaʹeelal
(of) Israel
ٱلۡبَحۡرَ
baḥra
the sea
فَأَتۡبَعَهُمۡ
faʹatbaʻahum
and followed them
فِرۡعَوۡنُ
Firʻawnu
Firaun
وَجُنُودُهُۥ
wa-junooduhoo
and his hosts
بَغۡيٗا
bag̣yañw
(in) rebellion
وَعَدۡوًاۖ
waʻadwaa.
and enmity
حَتَّىٰٓ
Ḥattaaa
until
إِذَآ
ʹiẓaaa
when
أَدۡرَكَهُ
ʹadrakahul
overtook him
ٱلۡغَرَقُ
g̣araq̣u
the drowning
قَالَ
q̣aala
he said
ءَامَنتُ
ʹaamañtu
I believe
أَنَّهُۥ
ʹanna-Hoo
that
لَآ
laaa
(there is) no
إِلَٰهَ
ʹilaaha
god
إِلَّا
ʹillal
except
ٱلَّذِيٓ
laẓeee
the One
ءَامَنَتۡ
ʹaamanat
in Whom believe
بِهِۦ
bihee
in Whom believe
بَنُوٓاْ
Banooo
the Children of Israel
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
ʹIsraaaʹeela
the Children of Israel
وَأَنَا۠
wa-ʹana
and I am
مِنَ
minal
of
ٱلۡمُسۡلِمِينَ
Muslimeen.
the Muslims
٩٠
10:91
ءَآلۡـَٰٔنَ
ʹAaalʹaana
Now
وَقَدۡ
wa-q̣ad
And verily
عَصَيۡتَ
ʻaṣayta
you (had) disobeyed
قَبۡلُ
q̣ablu
before
وَكُنتَ
wa-kuñta
and you were
مِنَ
minal
of
ٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ
mufsideen!
the corrupters
٩١
10:92
فَٱلۡيَوۡمَ
Falyawma
So today
نُنَجِّيكَ
nunajjeeka
We will save you
بِبَدَنِكَ
bibadanika
in your body
لِتَكُونَ
litakoona
that you may be
لِمَنۡ
liman
for (those) who
خَلۡفَكَ
khalfaka
succeed you
ءَايَةٗۚ
ʹAayah;
a sign
وَإِنَّ
wa-ʹinna
And indeed
كَثِيرٗا
kas̤eeram
many
مِّنَ
minan
among
ٱلنَّاسِ
naasi
the mankind
عَنۡ
ʻan
of
ءَايَٰتِنَا
ʹAayaatinaa
Our Signs
لَغَٰفِلُونَ
lag̣aafiloon!
(are) surely heedless
٩٢
10:93
وَلَقَدۡ
Wa-laq̣ad
And verily
بَوَّأۡنَا
bawwaʹnaa
We settled
بَنِيٓ
Baneee
(the) Children
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
ʹIsraaaʹeela
(of) Israel
مُبَوَّأَ
Mubawwaʹa
(in) a settlement
صِدۡقٖ
ṣidq̣iñw
honorable
وَرَزَقۡنَٰهُم
warazaq̣naahum
and We provided them
مِّنَ
minaṭ
with
ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ
ṭayyibaat:
the good things
فَمَا
famakh
and not
ٱخۡتَلَفُواْ
talafoo
they differ
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattaa
until
جَآءَهُمُ
jaaaʹahumul
came to them
ٱلۡعِلۡمُۚ
ʻilm.
the knowledge
إِنَّ
ʹInna
Indeed
رَبَّكَ
Rabbaka
your Lord
يَقۡضِي
yaq̣ḍee
will judge
بَيۡنَهُمۡ
baynahum
between them
يَوۡمَ
Yawmal
(on) the Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ
Q̣iyaamati
(of) the Resurrection
فِيمَا
feemaa
concerning what
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they used (to)
فِيهِ
feehi
[in it]
يَخۡتَلِفُونَ
yakhtalifoon.
differ
٩٣
10:94
فَإِن
Faʹiñ
So if
كُنتَ
kuñta
you are
فِي
fee
in
شَكّٖ
shakkim
doubt
مِّمَّآ
mimmaaa
of what
أَنزَلۡنَآ
ʹañzalnaaa
We have revealed
إِلَيۡكَ
ʹilayka
to you
فَسۡـَٔلِ
fasʹalil
then ask
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
يَقۡرَءُونَ
yaq̣raʹoonal
(have been) reading
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
kitaaba
the Book
مِن
miñ
before you
قَبۡلِكَۚ
q̣ablik:
before you
لَقَدۡ
laq̣ad
Verily
جَآءَكَ
jaaaʹakal
has come to you
ٱلۡحَقُّ
Ḥaq̣q̣u
the truth
مِن
mir
from
رَّبِّكَ
Rabbika
your Lord
فَلَا
falaa
so (do) not
تَكُونَنَّ
takoonanna
be
مِنَ
minal
among
ٱلۡمُمۡتَرِينَ
mumtareen.
the doubters
٩٤
10:95
وَلَا
Wa-laa
And (do) not
تَكُونَنَّ
takoonanna
be
مِنَ
minal
of
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَذَّبُواْ
kaẓẓaboo
deny
بِـَٔايَٰتِ
biʹAayaatil
(the) Signs of Allah
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(the) Signs of Allah
فَتَكُونَ
fatakoona
then you will be
مِنَ
minal
among
ٱلۡخَٰسِرِينَ
khaasireen.
the losers
٩٥
10:96
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those [whom]
حَقَّتۡ
ḥaq̣q̣at
has become due
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
ʻalayhim
on them
كَلِمَتُ
Kalimatu
(the) Word
رَبِّكَ
Rabbika
(of) your Lord
لَا
laa-
will not
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yuʹminoon.
believe
٩٦
10:97
وَلَوۡ
Wa-law
Even if
جَآءَتۡهُمۡ
jaaaʹathum
comes to them
كُلُّ
kullu
every
ءَايَةٍ
ʹAayatin
Sign
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattaa
until
يَرَوُاْ
yarawul
they see
ٱلۡعَذَابَ
ʻaẓaabal
the punishment
ٱلۡأَلِيمَ
ʹaleem.
the painful
٩٧

10:98
فَلَوۡلَا
Falawlaa
So why not
كَانَتۡ
kaanat
was
قَرۡيَةٌ
q̣aryatun
any town
ءَامَنَتۡ
ʹaamanat
that believed
فَنَفَعَهَآ
fanafaʻahaaa
and benefited it
إِيمَٰنُهَآ
ʹEemaanuhaaa
its faith
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
قَوۡمَ
Q̣awma
the people
يُونُسَ
YOONUS?
(of) Yunus
لَمَّآ
Lammaaa
When
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
they believed
كَشَفۡنَا
kashafnaa
We removed
عَنۡهُمۡ
ʻanhum
from them
عَذَابَ
ʻAẓaabal
(the) punishment
ٱلۡخِزۡيِ
khizyi
(of) the disgrace
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ
Ḥayaatid
the life
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
dunyaa
of the world
وَمَتَّعۡنَٰهُمۡ
wa-mattaʻnaahum
and We granted them enjoyment
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
for
حِينٖ
ḥeen.
a time
٩٨
10:99
وَلَوۡ
Wa-law
And if
شَآءَ
shaaaʹa
(had) willed
رَبُّكَ
Rabbuka
your Lord
لَأٓمَنَ
laʹaamana
surely (would) have believed
مَن
mañ
who
فِي
fil
(are) in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
كُلُّهُمۡ
kulluhum
all of them
جَمِيعًاۚ
jameeʻaa!
together
أَفَأَنتَ
ʹA-faʹañta
Then will you
تُكۡرِهُ
tukrihun
compel
ٱلنَّاسَ
naasa
the mankind
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattaa
until
يَكُونُواْ
yakoonoo
they become
مُؤۡمِنِينَ
Muʹmineen!
believers
٩٩
10:100
وَمَا
Wa-maa
And not
كَانَ
kaana
is
لِنَفۡسٍ
linafsin
for a soul
أَن
ʹañ
to
تُؤۡمِنَ
tuʹmina
believe
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
بِإِذۡنِ
biʹIẓnil
by (the) permission
ٱللَّهِۚ
laah:
(of) Allah
وَيَجۡعَلُ
wa-yajʻalur
And He will place
ٱلرِّجۡسَ
rijsa
the wrath
عَلَى
ʻalal
on
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
لَا
laa-
(do) not
يَعۡقِلُونَ
yaʻq̣iloon.
