۞لِّلَّذِينَ
Lil-laẓeena
For those who
أَحۡسَنُواْ
ʹaḥsanul
do good
ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰ
ḥusnaa
(is) the best
وَزِيَادَةٞۖ
wa-ziyaadah!
and more
وَلَا
Wa-laa
And not
يَرۡهَقُ
yarhaq̣u
(will) cover
وُجُوهَهُمۡ
wujoohahum
their faces
قَتَرٞ
q̣ataruñw
dust
وَلَا
walaa
and not
ذِلَّةٌۚ
ẓillah!
humiliation
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹUlaaaʹika
Those
أَصۡحَٰبُ
ʹAṣḥaabul
(are the) companions
ٱلۡجَنَّةِۖ
Jannah;
(of) Paradise
هُمۡ
hum
they
فِيهَا
feehaa
in it
خَٰلِدُونَ
khaalidoon.
(will) abide forever
٢٦
10:27
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeena
And those who
كَسَبُواْ
kasabus
earned
ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ
sayyiʹaati
the evil deeds
جَزَآءُ
jazaaaʹu
(the) recompense
سَيِّئَةِۭ
sayyiʹatim
(of) an evil deed
بِمِثۡلِهَا
bimis̤lihaa
(is) like it
وَتَرۡهَقُهُمۡ
wa-tarhaq̣uhum
and (will) cover them
ذِلَّةٞۖ
ẓillah:
humiliation
مَّا
maa-
They will not have
لَهُم
lahum
They will not have
مِّنَ
minal
from
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
مِنۡ
min
any
عَاصِمٖۖ
ʻaaṣim:
defender
كَأَنَّمَآ
Kaʹannamaaa
As if
أُغۡشِيَتۡ
ʹug̣shiyat
had been covered
وُجُوهُهُمۡ
wujoohuhum
their faces
قِطَعٗا
q̣iṭaʻam
(with) pieces
مِّنَ
minal
from
ٱلَّيۡلِ
layli
the darkness (of) night
مُظۡلِمًاۚ
muz̤̣limaa:
the darkness (of) night
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹulaaaʹika
Those
أَصۡحَٰبُ
ʹAṣḥaabun
(are the) companions
ٱلنَّارِۖ
Naari
(of) the Fire
هُمۡ
hum
they
فِيهَا
feehaa
in it
خَٰلِدُونَ
khaalidoon!
(will) abide forever
٢٧
10:28
وَيَوۡمَ
Wa-yawma
And (the) Day
نَحۡشُرُهُمۡ
naḥshuruhum
We will gather them
جَمِيعٗا
jameeʻañ
all together
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
نَقُولُ
naq̣oolu
We will say
لِلَّذِينَ
lil-laẓeena
to those who
أَشۡرَكُواْ
ʹashrakoo
associate partners (with Allah)
مَكَانَكُمۡ
makaanakum
(Remain in) your place
أَنتُمۡ
ʹañtum
you
وَشُرَكَآؤُكُمۡۚ
wa-shurakaaʹukum.
and your partners
فَزَيَّلۡنَا
Fazayyalnaa
Then We will separate
بَيۡنَهُمۡۖ
baynahum
[between] them
وَقَالَ
wa-q̣aala
and (will) say
شُرَكَآؤُهُم
shurakaaaʹuhum
their partners
مَّا
maa
Not
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
you used (to)
إِيَّانَا
ʹiyyaanaa
worship us
تَعۡبُدُونَ
taʻbudoon!
worship us
٢٨
10:29
فَكَفَىٰ
Fakafaa
So sufficient
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
(is) Allah
شَهِيدَۢا
shaheedam
(as) a witness
بَيۡنَنَا
baynanaa
between us
وَبَيۡنَكُمۡ
wa-baynakum
and between you
إِن
ʹiñ
that
كُنَّا
kunnaa
we were
عَنۡ
ʻan
of
عِبَادَتِكُمۡ
ʻibaadatikum
your worship
لَغَٰفِلِينَ
lag̣aafileen!
certainly unaware
٢٩
10:30
هُنَالِكَ
Hunaalika
There
تَبۡلُواْ
tabloo
will be put to trial
كُلُّ
kullu
every
نَفۡسٖ
nafsim
soul
مَّآ
maaa
(for) what
أَسۡلَفَتۡۚ
ʹaslafat
it did previously
وَرُدُّوٓاْ
wa-ruddooo
and they will be returned
إِلَى
ʹilal
to
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
مَوۡلَىٰهُمُ
Mawlaahumul
their Lord
ٱلۡحَقِّۖ
Ḥaq̣q̣i
the true
وَضَلَّ
wa-ḍalla
and will be lost
عَنۡهُم
ʻanhum
from them
مَّا
maa
what
كَانُواْ
kanoo
they used (to)
يَفۡتَرُونَ
yaftaroon.
invent
٣٠
10:31
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
مَن
mañy
Who
يَرۡزُقُكُم
yarzuq̣ukum
provides for you
مِّنَ
minas
from
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
samaaaʹi
the sky
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ
wal-ʹarḍi
and the earth
أَمَّن
ʹammañy
Or who
يَمۡلِكُ
yamlikus
controls
ٱلسَّمۡعَ
samʻa
the hearing
وَٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرَ
wal-ʹabṣaara
and the sight
وَمَن
wa-mañy
And who
يُخۡرِجُ
yukhrijul
brings out
ٱلۡحَيَّ
ḥayya
the living
مِنَ
minal
from
ٱلۡمَيِّتِ
mayyiti
the dead
وَيُخۡرِجُ
wa-yukhrijul
and brings forth
ٱلۡمَيِّتَ
mayyita
the dead
مِنَ
minal
from
ٱلۡحَيِّ
ḥayyi
the living
وَمَن
wa-mañy
And who
يُدَبِّرُ
yudabbirul
disposes
ٱلۡأَمۡرَۚ
ʹamr?
the affairs
فَسَيَقُولُونَ
Fasayaq̣ooloonal
Then they will say
ٱللَّهُۚ
laah.
Allah
فَقُلۡ
faq̣ul
Then say
أَفَلَا
ʹafalaa
Then will not
تَتَّقُونَ
tattaq̣oon?
you fear (Him)
٣١
10:32
فَذَٰلِكُمُ
Faẓaalikumul
For that
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
(is) Allah
رَبُّكُمُ
Rabbukumul
your Lord
ٱلۡحَقُّۖ
Ḥaq̣q̣:
the true
فَمَاذَا
famaaẓaa
So what (can be)
بَعۡدَ
baʻdal
after
ٱلۡحَقِّ
Ḥaq̣q̣i
the truth
إِلَّا
ʹillaḍ
except
ٱلضَّلَٰلُۖ
ḍalaal?
the error
فَأَنَّىٰ
Faʹannaa
So how
تُصۡرَفُونَ
tuṣrafoon?
(are) you turned away
٣٢
10:33
كَذَٰلِكَ
Kaẓaalika
Thus
حَقَّتۡ
ḥaq̣q̣at
(is) proved true
كَلِمَتُ
Kalimatu
(the) Word
رَبِّكَ
Rabbika
(of) your Lord
عَلَى
ʻalal
upon
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
فَسَقُوٓاْ
fasaq̣ooo
defiantly disobeyed
أَنَّهُمۡ
ʹannahum
that they
لَا
laa-
(will) not
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yuʹminoon.
believe

Say
هَلۡ
hal
Is (there)
مِن
miñ
of
شُرَكَآئِكُم
shurakaaaʹikum
your partners
مَّن
mañy
(any) who
يَبۡدَؤُاْ
yabdaʹul
originates
ٱلۡخَلۡقَ
khalq̣a
the creation
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
يُعِيدُهُۥۚ
yuʻeeduh?
repeats it
قُلِ
Q̣ulil
Say
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
يَبۡدَؤُاْ
yabdaʹul
originates
ٱلۡخَلۡقَ
khalq̣a
the creation
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
يُعِيدُهُۥۖ
yuʻeeduhoo
repeats it
فَأَنَّىٰ
faʹannaa
So how
تُؤۡفَكُونَ
tuʹfakoon?
you are deluded

10:35
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
هَلۡ
hal
Is (there)
مِن
miñ
of
شُرَكَآئِكُم
shurakaaaʹikum
your partners
مَّن
mañy
(any) who
يَهۡدِيٓ
yahdeee
guides
إِلَى
ʹilal
to
ٱلۡحَقِّۚ
Ḥaq̣q̣?
the truth
قُلِ
Q̣ulil
Say
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
يَهۡدِي
yahdee
guides
لِلۡحَقِّۗ
lil-Ḥaq̣q̣.
to the truth
أَفَمَن
ʹAfamañy
Is then (he) who
يَهۡدِيٓ
yahdeee
guides
إِلَى
ʹilal
to
ٱلۡحَقِّ
Ḥaq̣q̣i
the truth
أَحَقُّ
ʹaḥaq̣q̣u
more worthy
أَن
ʹañy
that
يُتَّبَعَ
yuttabaʻa
he should be followed
أَمَّن
ʹammal
or (he) who
لَّا
laa
(does) not
يَهِدِّيٓ
yahiddeee
guide
إِلَّآ
ʹillaaa
unless
أَن
ʹañy
[that]
يُهۡدَىٰۖ
yuhdaa?
he is guided
فَمَا
Famaa
Then what
لَكُمۡ
lakum?
(is) for you
كَيۡفَ
Kayfa
how
تَحۡكُمُونَ
taḥkumoon?
you judge
٣٥
10:36
وَمَا
Wa-maa
And not
يَتَّبِعُ
yattabiʻu
follow
أَكۡثَرُهُمۡ
ʹaks̤aruhum
most of them
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
ظَنًّاۚ
z̤̣annaa:
assumption
إِنَّ
ʹinnaz̤̣
Indeed
ٱلظَّنَّ
z̤̣anna
the assumption
لَا
laa-
(does) not
يُغۡنِي
yug̣nee
avail
مِنَ
minal
against
ٱلۡحَقِّ
Ḥaq̣q̣i
the truth
شَيۡـًٔاۚ
shayʹaa.
anything
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
عَلِيمُۢ
ʻAleemum
(is) All-Knower
بِمَا
bimaa
of what
يَفۡعَلُونَ
yafʻaloon.
they do
٣٦
10:37
وَمَا
Wa-maa
And not
كَانَ
kaana
is
هَٰذَا
haaẓal
this
ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ
Q̣urʹaanu
the Quran
أَن
ʹañy
that
يُفۡتَرَىٰ
yuftaraa
(it could be) produced
مِن
miñ
by
دُونِ
doonil
other than Allah
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
other than Allah
وَلَٰكِن
wa-laakiñ
but
تَصۡدِيقَ
taṣdeeq̣al
(it is) a confirmation
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
(of that) which
بَيۡنَ
bayna
(was) before it
يَدَيۡهِ
yadayhi
(was) before it
وَتَفۡصِيلَ
wa-tafṣeelal
and a detailed explanation
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
Kitaabi
(of) the Book
لَا
laa-
(there is) no
رَيۡبَ
rayba
doubt
فِيهِ
feehi
in it
مِن
mir
from
رَّبِّ
Rabbil
(the) Lord
ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
ʻAalameen.
(of) the worlds
٣٧
10:38
أَمۡ
ʹAm
Or
يَقُولُونَ
yaq̣ooloonaf
(do) they say
ٱفۡتَرَىٰهُۖ
taraah?
He has invented it
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
فَأۡتُواْ
faʹtoo
Then bring
بِسُورَةٖ
bisooratim
a Surah
مِّثۡلِهِۦ
mis̤lihee
like it
وَٱدۡعُواْ
wadʻoo
and call
مَنِ
manis
whoever
ٱسۡتَطَعۡتُم
taṭaʻtum
you can
مِّن
miñ
besides Allah
دُونِ
doonil
besides Allah
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
besides Allah
إِن
ʹiñ
if
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
you are
صَٰدِقِينَ
Ṣaadiq̣een!.
truthful
٣٨
10:39
بَلۡ
Bal
Nay
كَذَّبُواْ
kaẓẓaboo
they denied
بِمَا
bimaa
what
لَمۡ
lam
not
يُحِيطُواْ
yuḥeeṭoo
they could encompass
بِعِلۡمِهِۦ
biʻilmihee
(of) its knowledge
وَلَمَّا
wa-lammaa
and not
يَأۡتِهِمۡ
yaʹtihim
has come (to) them
تَأۡوِيلُهُۥۚ
taʹweeluh:
its interpretation
كَذَٰلِكَ
Kaẓaalika
Thus
كَذَّبَ
kaẓẓabal
denied
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those
مِن
miñ
before them
قَبۡلِهِمۡۖ
q̣ablihim
before them
فَٱنظُرۡ
fañz̤̣ur
then see
كَيۡفَ
kayfa
how
كَانَ
kaana
was
عَٰقِبَةُ
ʻaaq̣ibatuz̤̣
(the) end
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
z̤̣aalimeen!
(of) the wrongdoers
٣٩
10:40
وَمِنۡهُم
Wa-minhum
And of them
مَّن
mañy
(is one) who
يُؤۡمِنُ
yuʹminu
believes
بِهِۦ
bihee
in it
وَمِنۡهُم
wa-minhum
and of them
مَّن
mal
(is one) who
لَّا
laa
(does) not
يُؤۡمِنُ
yuʹminu
believe
بِهِۦۚ
bih:
in it
وَرَبُّكَ
wa-Rabbuka
And your Lord
أَعۡلَمُ
ʹaʻlamu
(is) All-Knower
بِٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ
bilmufsideen.
of the corrupters
٤٠
10:41
وَإِن
Wa-ʹiñ
And if
كَذَّبُوكَ
kaẓẓabooka
they deny you
فَقُل
faq̣ul
then say
لِّي
lee
For me
عَمَلِي
ʻamalee
(are) my deeds
وَلَكُمۡ
wa-lakum
and for you
عَمَلُكُمۡۖ
ʻamalukum!
(are) your deeds
أَنتُم
ʹAñtum̃
You
بَرِيٓـُٔونَ
bareeeʹoona
(are) disassociated
مِمَّآ
mimmaaa
from what
أَعۡمَلُ
ʹaʻmalu
I do
وَأَنَا۠
wa-ʹana
and I am
بَرِيٓءٞ
bareeeʹum
disassociated
مِّمَّا
mimmaa
from what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
taʻmaloon!
you do
٤١
10:42
وَمِنۡهُم
Wa-minhum
And among them
مَّن
mañy
(are some) who
يَسۡتَمِعُونَ
yastamiʻoona
listen
إِلَيۡكَۚ
ʹilayk:
to you
أَفَأَنتَ
ʹa-faʹañta
But (can) you
تُسۡمِعُ
tusmiʻuṣ
cause the deaf to hear
ٱلصُّمَّ
ṣumma
cause the deaf to hear
وَلَوۡ
wa-law
even though
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they [were]
لَا
laa-
(do) not
يَعۡقِلُونَ
yaʻq̣iloon?
use reason

وَمِنۡهُم
Wa-minhum
And among them
مَّن
mañy
(are some) who
يَنظُرُ
yañz̤̣uru
look
إِلَيۡكَۚ
ʹilayk:
at you
أَفَأَنتَ
ʹa-faʹanta
But (can) you
تَهۡدِي
tahdil
guide
ٱلۡعُمۡيَ
ʻumya
the blind
وَلَوۡ
wa-law
even though
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they [were]
لَا
laa-
(do) not
يُبۡصِرُونَ
yubṣiroon?
see
٤٣
10:44
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
لَا
la
(does) not
يَظۡلِمُ
yaz̤̣limun
wrong
ٱلنَّاسَ
naasa
the people
شَيۡـٔٗا
shayʹañw
(in) anything
وَلَٰكِنَّ
walaakin
but
ٱلنَّاسَ
nannaasa
the people
أَنفُسَهُمۡ
ʹañfusahum
wrong themselves
يَظۡلِمُونَ
yaz̤̣limoon.
wrong themselves
٤٤
10:45
وَيَوۡمَ
Wa-yawma
And the Day
يَحۡشُرُهُمۡ
yaḥshuruhum
He will gather them
كَأَن
kaʹal
as if
لَّمۡ
lam
they had not remained
يَلۡبَثُوٓاْ
yalbas̤ooo
they had not remained
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
سَاعَةٗ
saaʻatam
an hour
مِّنَ
minan
of
ٱلنَّهَارِ
nahaari
the day
يَتَعَارَفُونَ
yataʻaarafoona
they will recognize each other
بَيۡنَهُمۡۚ
baynahum.
between them
قَدۡ
Q̣ad
Certainly
خَسِرَ
khasiral
(will have) lost
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَذَّبُواْ
kaẓẓaboo
denied
بِلِقَآءِ
biliq̣aaaʹil
the meeting
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(with) Allah
وَمَا
wa-maa
and not
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they were
مُهۡتَدِينَ
muhtadeen.
the guided ones
٤٥
10:46
وَإِمَّا
Wa-ʹimmaa
And whether
نُرِيَنَّكَ
nuriyannaka
We show you
بَعۡضَ
baʻḍal
some
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
(of) that which
نَعِدُهُمۡ
naʻiduhum
We promised them
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ
natawaffayannaka
We cause you to die
فَإِلَيۡنَا
faʹilaynaa
then to Us
مَرۡجِعُهُمۡ
marjiʻuhum
(is) their return
ثُمَّ
s̤ummal
then
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
شَهِيدٌ
shaheedun
(is) a Witness
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
over
مَا
maa-
what
يَفۡعَلُونَ
yafʻaloon.
they do
٤٦
10:47
وَلِكُلِّ
Wa-likulli
And for every
أُمَّةٖ
ʹummatir
nation
رَّسُولٞۖ
Rasool:
(is) a Messenger
فَإِذَا
faʹiẓaa
So when
جَآءَ
jaaaʹa
comes
رَسُولُهُمۡ
Rasooluhum
their Messenger
قُضِيَ
q̣uḍiya
it will be judged
بَيۡنَهُم
baynahum̃
between them
بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ
bilq̣isṭi
in justice
وَهُمۡ
wa-hum
and they
لَا
laa-
(will) not
يُظۡلَمُونَ
yuz̤̣lamoon.
be wronged
٤٧
10:48
وَيَقُولُونَ
Wa-yaq̣ooloona
And they say
مَتَىٰ
mataa
When
هَٰذَا
haaẓal
(will) this
ٱلۡوَعۡدُ
waʻdu
the promise (be fulfilled)
إِن
ʹiñ
if
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
you are
صَٰدِقِينَ
ṣaadiq̣een.
truthful
٤٨
10:49
قُل
Q̣ul
Say
لَّآ
laaa
Not
أَمۡلِكُ
ʹamliku
I have power
لِنَفۡسِي
linafsee
for myself
ضَرّٗا
ḍarrañw
(for) any harm
وَلَا
walaa
and not
نَفۡعًا
nafʻan
(for) any profit
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
مَا
maa-
what
شَآءَ
shaaaʹal
Allah wills
ٱللَّهُۗ
laah.
Allah wills
لِكُلِّ
Likulli
For every
أُمَّةٍ
ʹUmmatin
nation
أَجَلٌۚ
ʹajal:
(is) a term
إِذَا
ʹiẓaa
When
جَآءَ
jaaaʹa
comes
أَجَلُهُمۡ
ʹajaluhum
their term
فَلَا
falaa
then not
يَسۡتَـٔۡخِرُونَ
yastaʹkhiroona
they remain behind
سَاعَةٗ
saaʻatañw
an hour
وَلَا
walaa
and not
يَسۡتَقۡدِمُونَ
yastaq̣dimoon.
they can precede (it)
٤٩
10:50
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
أَرَءَيۡتُمۡ
ʹaraʹaytum
Do you see
إِنۡ
ʹin
if
أَتَىٰكُمۡ
ʹataakum
comes to you
عَذَابُهُۥ
ʻaẓaabuhoo
His punishment
بَيَٰتًا
bayaatan
(by) night
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
نَهَارٗا
nahaaram
(by) day
مَّاذَا
maaẓaa
what (portion)
يَسۡتَعۡجِلُ
yastaʻjilu
of it would (wish to) hasten
مِنۡهُ
minhul
of it would (wish to) hasten
ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ
mujrimoon.
the criminals
٥٠
