Asking Allah to Forgive and Be Kind - Surah Muminun

Say Astaghfirullah al-Adheem al-ladhi la ilaha illa Huwa al-Hayyul-Qayyum wa atubu ilayh. This prayer cleans big sins if you mean it from your heart.

Say Rabbighfir warham wa anta khairur rahemeen to ask Allah to forgive you and be kind to you. This prayer helps you collect good deeds and feel peace when asking for forgiveness.

Surah Muminun has strong verses about asking Allah to forgive you. Read it and the forgiveness dua inside to feel closer to Allah and ask for maghfirat every day.

Verse 118 of Surah Muminun says My Lord, forgive us and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful. Muslims say this dua when they want Allah's kindness.

Astaghfirullah or Astaghfirullāha rabbī wa-atūbu ilayhi is the strongest forgiveness dua. The Prophet said it often, and it's simple for every Muslim to learn and say.
