رَبِّ ٱجْعَلْ هَٰذَا بَلَدًا ءَامِنًا وَٱرْزُقْ أَهْلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ مَنْ ءَامَنَ مِنْهُم بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْءَاخِرِ ۖ
Translation
My Lord, make this a secure city and provide its people with fruits - whoever of them believes in Allah and the Last Day.
Yes. This dua asks Allah to protect you from harm - whether it comes from earth or sky. Allah hears and knows all. That's why this prayer works so well for safety.
Read Surah Al-Ikhlas, Surah Al-Falaq, and Surah Al-Nas. Say each one three times - once in the morning, once in the evening. Muslims use these masnoon duas daily for hifazat.
