Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet (ﷺ) performed Tawaf of the Ka`ba riding a camel, and every time he came in front of the Corner (having the Black Stone), he pointed towards it with something he had with him and said Takbir. [Bukhari: 1613, 1632]
When you say Allahu Akbar at the black stone during tawaf, your heart feels Allah's greatness. Every muslim doing hajj or umrah gets more reward.
Say allahu akbar when you pass the Black Stone. If you can, kiss it, touch it, or just point to it. Begin with bismillah wa allahu akbar. Then each time you line up with the black stone during tawaf, say allahu akbar.
To touch the black stone, say this dua: allahumma salli ala Muhammadin wa ala ali Muhammadin, allahumma a'idhni mina-sh-Shaytan-r-rajim, waa'idhni min kulli saw'in, wa qanni'ni bi-ma razaqtani wa barik li fih. Muslims use this during umrah dua and hajj dua.
From the Yemeni corner to black stone, the Sunnah is rabbanaa aatinaa fiddunyaa ḥasanatan wa fil aakhirati ḥasanatan wa qinaa ‛adhaab-an-naar. Muslims often say this prayer during hajj pilgrimage.
Say bismillah allahu akbar when touching or kissing hajar al aswad. This shows respect. It follows what Prophet Muhammad did. Part of the dua for tawaf, it completes your ritual.
Kiss, touch, or point to hajar al aswad. This shows devotion. Remember it is a blessed stone in Islamic history. The Prophet kissed it and pointed to it during tawaf. It is important in hajj pilgrimage.
