Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: When one of you eats, he should mention Allah's name; if he forgets to mention Allah's name at the beginning, he should say: "In the name of Allah at the beginning and at the end of it." [Sahih (Albani). Abu Dawud: 3767]
Say Bismillahi awwalahu wa akhirahu before meal. Your food gets Barakah and Rizq. You follow the Sunnah of eating. Allah's name is on your mind at the start and end of each meal.
Make dua in prayer, especially in sujood. Also after salah, in the last third of night, between adhan and iqamah, and on Fridays. Talk to Allah and ask Him for anything with hope and trust.
Alhamdulillah means all praise and thanks belong to Allah. Muslims say it to show thanks for Allah's blessings, kindness, and mercy. The alhamdulillah meaning helps you remember Allah all day.
Muslims say Bismillah before eating to ask for blessings and remember Allah gave the food. It follows the sunnah of eating. It teaches us to be thankful in islam for every meal and all rizq from Allah.
Bismillah wa ala barakatillah means in the name of Allah and with Allah's blessings I begin. These words bring barakah when eating or drinking. They are part of masnoon dua.
Before fasting, Muslims make niyyah. Say Wa bisawmi ghadinn nawaiytu min shahri Ramadan. Niyyah is required before fasting. This is a daily dua for Ramadan.
