The Prophet (ﷺ) would ask Allah like this:
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ غَلَبَةِ الدَّيْنِ وَغَلَبَةِ الْعَدُوِّ وَشَمَاتَةِ الْأَعْدَاءِ
Transliteration
Allaahumma inni A‛oodhu bika min ghalabatid-daini, wa ghalabatil-'aduwwi, wa shamaatatil-a'daa'i
Translation
O Allah, I seek refuge with You from being overwhelmed by debt and from being overpowered by the enemy, and from the enemy rejoicing at my misfortune.
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي حُيَىُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحُبُلِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يَدْعُو بِهَؤُلاَءِ الْكَلِمَاتِ " اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ غَلَبَةِ الدَّيْنِ وَغَلَبَةِ الْعَدُوِّ وَشَمَاتَةِ الأَعْدَاءِ " .
Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al-'As that: The Messenger of Allah [SAW] used to say supplication in these words: "Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min ghalabatid-dain, wa ghalabatil-'aduwwi, wa shamatatil-a'da'. (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from being overwhelmed by debt and from being overpowered by the enemy, and from the enemy rejoicing at my misfortune.)" [Sahih (Albani). Nasai: 5487]
Say this: Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min al-hammi wal-huzn, wal-'ajzi wal-kasl, wal-bukhli wal-jubn, wa min ghalabatid-dayn wa qahrir-rijāl. It's for debt worry and protection from enemies.
Yes. First ask Allah to keep you safe. Then say: Wa nasurna 'ala man bagha 'alayna wa ahyinā nasraka. This asks for victory over those who hurt you.
Yes. The Prophet taught a dua in hadith qudsi. It helps with worry, debt, sadness, and enemy attacks. Muslims use it for strength.
Morning and night - say it every day. Make it your habit. Allah will bring you peace and solve your debt and enemy problems.
Focus on your need. You want relief from debt. You want safety from cruel people. Be sincere. Trust Allah. He will answer best.
