اَللَّهُمَّ أَكْثِرْ مَالَهُ وَوَلَدَهُ وَبَارِكْ لَهُ فِيمَا أَعْطَيْتَهُ
Transliteration
Allaahumma Akthir Maalahu Wa waladahu wa baarik lahu Fimaa a'taitahu
Translation
O Allah! Increase his wealth and children, and bestow Your Blessing on whatever You give him.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي الأَسْوَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَرَمِيٌّ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَتْ أُمِّي يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ خَادِمُكَ أَنَسٌ ادْعُ اللَّهَ لَهُ. قَالَ " اللَّهُمَّ أَكْثِرْ مَالَهُ وَوَلَدَهُ، وَبَارِكْ لَهُ فِيمَا أَعْطَيْتَهُ " .
Translation
Narrated Anas: My mother said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Please invoke Allah on behalf of your servant." He said, "O Allah! Increase his wealth and children, and bestow Your Blessing on whatever You give him." a time of distress. [Bukhari: 6344]
Say O Allah, I ask You for Your bounty. This asks Allah for halal money and barakah. Muslims say such prayers daily for wealth and success, hoping things get better.
Say Allahumma inni as'aluka al-najah fi jami' al-umur. This means O Allah, I ask You for success in all matters. Muslims say this for good outcomes and a better life.
A famous prayer is Rabbana hablana min azwajina wa dhurriyyatina qurrata a'yunin wa ja'alna lil muttaqina imama. You ask Allah for children who make you happy and become good people.
