Anas (RA) tells us: The Prophet (ﷺ) would say:
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْبَرَصِ وَالْجُنُوْنِ وَالْجُذَامِ وَمِنْ سَيِّئِ الْأَسْقَامِ
Transliteration
Allaahumma inni A‛oodhu bika minal-barasi wal-jununi wal-judhaami, wamin sayy'il-asqaam
Translation
O Allah, I seek refuge in Thee from leprosy, madness, elephantiasis, and evil diseases.
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يَقُولُ " اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْبَرَصِ وَالْجُنُونِ وَالْجُذَامِ وَمِنْ سَيِّئِ الأَسْقَامِ " .
Translation
Narrated Anas ibn Malik: The Prophet (ﷺ) used to say: "O Allah, I seek refuge in Thee from leprosy, madness, elephantiasis, and evil diseases." [Sahih (Albani). Abu Dawud: 1554]
Say this dua to ask Allah for safety. It protects from leprosy, madness, elephant sickness, and other bad illness. Allah is the Lord of all people - He removes pain and gives healing.
We say this dua to Allah, the One who takes care of everyone. We ask Him to remove illness and make us well. Only Allah can heal all health troubles.
Shifa dua is for healing. We ask Allah to cure us completely - no sickness left. Muslims say it when they feel pain or illness.
Surah al-Fatihah heals any illness. It is called Surah al-Shifa. Muslims read it as quranic healing and to stay safe from sickness.
Say this: A'oozu bi'izzatillaahi wa qudratihi min sharri maa ajidu wa uhaaziru. It means we ask Allah's power to guard us from harm. Muslims use it for health and safety.
