The Prophet (ﷺ) made this dua:
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْهُدَى، وَالتُّقَى، وَالْعَفَافَ، وَالْغِنَى
Transliteration
Allaahumma, inni as'alukal-hudaa wat- tuqaa wal-'afaafa wal-ghinaa
Translation
O Allah. I beg of Thee the right guidance, safeguard against evils, chastity and freedom from want.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ " اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْهُدَى وَالتُّقَى وَالْعَفَافَ وَالْغِنَى " .
Translation
Abdullah reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) used to supplicate (in these words): " O Allah. I beg of Thee the right guidance, safeguard against evils, chastity and freedom from want." [Muslim: 2721]
Allahumma ihdini wa saddidni asks Allah for the right way and strength. It helps Muslims find wise answers when life gets hard.
Ask Allah from your heart for help with your choices. Muslims read istikhara or say allahumma inni as aluka, trusting Allah to guide them.
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min zawali ni'matika is a dua for happiness. It asks Allah to protect you from losing good things and keep harm away.
Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanah or allahumma inni as aluka rizqan tayyiban ask for good wealth and not needing people. These duas bring blessings in this life and the next.
Allahumma la sahla illa ma ja'altahu sahla asks Allah to remove hard things and make tasks easy. Say this when you need help to succeed.
