Amsayna ʿala fitratil-Islam
أَمْسَيْنَا عَلَىٰ فِطْرَةِ الْإِسْلَامِ، وَعَلَىٰ كَلِمَةِ الْإِخْلَاصِ، وَعَلَىٰ دِينِ نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَعَلَىٰ مِلَّةِ أَبِينَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَنِيفًا مُسْلِمًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
Transliteration
Amsainaa ʿalaa fitratil-islaam, wa ʿalaa kalimatil-ikhlaas, wa ʿalaa deeni nabiyyinaa muhammadin sallallaahu ʿalayhi wa sallam, wa ʿalaa millati abeenaa ibraaheem, haneefam muslimaa, wa maa kaana minal-mushrikeen.
Meaning
We have entered this evening upon the natural way of Islam, upon the statement of sincerity, upon the religion of our prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and upon the way of our father Ibrahim, who was a monotheist and a muslim, and he was not among the polytheists.
