وَأَنَّهُمۡ

يَفۡعَلُونَ

they do

how they say what they do not do

26:227
إِلَّا
illa
Except
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
وَعَمِلُواْ
wa'amilu
and do
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
al-salihati
righteous deeds
وَذَكَرُواْ
wadhakaru
and remember
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
كَثِيرٗا
kathiran
much
وَٱنتَصَرُواْ
wa-intasaru
and defend themselves
مِنۢ
min
after
بَعۡدِ
ba'di
after
مَا
ma
after
ظُلِمُواْۗ
zulimu
they were wronged
وَسَيَعۡلَمُ
wasaya'lamu
And will come to know
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ظَلَمُوٓاْ
zalamu
have wronged
أَيَّ
ayya
(to) what
مُنقَلَبٖ
munqalabin
return
يَنقَلِبُونَ
yanqalibuna
they will return
٢٢٧
Not so those [poets] who believe, do good deeds, remember God often, and defend themselves after they have been wronged. The evildoers will find out what they will return to
