وَكَأَيِّن
waka-ayyin
And how many

قَرۡيَةٍ
qaryatin
a town
عَتَتۡ
atat
rebelled
عَنۡ
an
against
أَمۡرِ
amri
(the) Command
رَبِّهَا
rabbiha
(of) its Lord
وَرُسُلِهِۦ
warusulihi
and His Messengers
فَحَاسَبۡنَٰهَا
fahasabnaha
so We took it to account
حِسَابٗا
hisaban
an account
شَدِيدٗا
shadidan
severe
وَعَذَّبۡنَٰهَا
wa'adhabnaha
and We punished it
عَذَابٗا
adhaban
a punishment
نُّكۡرٗا
nuk'ran
terrible
