29:14
وَلَقَدۡ
walaqad
And verily
أَرۡسَلۡنَا
arsalna
We sent
نُوحًا
nuhan
Nuh
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
قَوۡمِهِۦ
qawmihi
his people
فَلَبِثَ
falabitha
and he remained
فِيهِمۡ
fihim
among them
أَلۡفَ
alfa
a thousand
سَنَةٍ
sanatin
year(s)
إِلَّا
illa
save
خَمۡسِينَ
khamsina
fifty
عَامٗا
aman
year(s)
فَأَخَذَهُمُ
fa-akhadhahumu
then seized them
ٱلطُّوفَانُ
al-tufanu
the flood
وَهُمۡ
wahum
while they
ظَٰلِمُونَ
zalimuna
(were) wrongdoers

29:15
فَأَنجَيۡنَٰهُ
fa-anjaynahu
But We saved him
وَأَصۡحَٰبَ
wa-ashaba
and (the) people
ٱلسَّفِينَةِ
al-safinati
(of) the ship
وَجَعَلۡنَٰهَآ
waja'alnaha
and We made it
ءَايَةٗ
ayatan
a Sign
لِّلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
lil'alamina
for the worlds
١٥
29:16
وَإِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
wa-ib'rahima
And Ibrahim
إِذۡ
idh
when
قَالَ
qala
he said
لِقَوۡمِهِ
liqawmihi
to his people
ٱعۡبُدُواْ
u'budu
Worship
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَٱتَّقُوهُۖ
wa-ittaquhu
and fear Him
ذَٰلِكُمۡ
dhalikum
That
خَيۡرٞ
khayrun
(is) better
لَّكُمۡ
lakum
for you
إِن
in
if
كُنتُمۡ
kuntum
you
تَعۡلَمُونَ
ta'lamuna
know
١٦
29:17
إِنَّمَا
innama
Only
تَعۡبُدُونَ
ta'buduna
you worship
مِن
min
besides
دُونِ
duni
besides
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
أَوۡثَٰنٗا
awthanan
idols
وَتَخۡلُقُونَ
watakhluquna
and you create
إِفۡكًاۚ
if'kan
falsehood
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those whom
تَعۡبُدُونَ
ta'buduna
you worship
مِن
min
besides
دُونِ
duni
besides
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
لَا
la
(do) not
يَمۡلِكُونَ
yamlikuna
possess
لَكُمۡ
lakum
for you
رِزۡقٗا
riz'qan
any provision
فَٱبۡتَغُواْ
fa-ib'taghu
So seek
عِندَ
inda
from
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
ٱلرِّزۡقَ
al-riz'qa
the provision
وَٱعۡبُدُوهُ
wa-u'buduhu
and worship Him
وَٱشۡكُرُواْ
wa-ush'kuru
and be grateful
لَهُۥٓۖ
lahu
to Him
إِلَيۡهِ
ilayhi
To Him
تُرۡجَعُونَ
tur'ja'una
you will be returned
١٧
29:18
وَإِن
wa-in
And if
تُكَذِّبُواْ
tukadhibu
you deny
فَقَدۡ
faqad
then verily
كَذَّبَ
kadhaba
denied
أُمَمٞ
umamun
(the) nations
مِّن
min
before you
قَبۡلِكُمۡۖ
qablikum
before you
وَمَا
wama
And not
عَلَى
ala
(is) on
ٱلرَّسُولِ
al-rasuli
the Messenger
إِلَّا
illa
except
ٱلۡبَلَٰغُ
al-balaghu
the conveyance
ٱلۡمُبِينُ
al-mubinu
clear
١٨
29:19
أَوَلَمۡ
awalam
Do not
يَرَوۡاْ
yaraw
they see
كَيۡفَ
kayfa
how
يُبۡدِئُ
yub'di-u
Allah originates
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah originates
ٱلۡخَلۡقَ
al-khalqa
the creation
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
يُعِيدُهُۥٓۚ
yu'iduhu
repeats it
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
that
عَلَى
ala
for
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
يَسِيرٞ
yasirun
(is) easy
١٩
29:20
قُلۡ
qul
Say
سِيرُواْ
siru
Travel
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
فَٱنظُرُواْ
fa-unzuru
and see
كَيۡفَ
kayfa
how
بَدَأَ
bada-a
He originated
ٱلۡخَلۡقَۚ
al-khalqa
the creation
ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
يُنشِئُ
yunshi-u
will produce
ٱلنَّشۡأَةَ
al-nashata
the creation
ٱلۡأٓخِرَةَۚ
al-akhirata
the last
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
عَلَىٰ
ala
on
كُلِّ
kulli
every
شَيۡءٖ
shayin
thing
قَدِيرٞ
qadirun
(is) All-Powerful
٢٠
29:21
يُعَذِّبُ
yu'adhibu
He punishes
مَن
man
whom
يَشَآءُ
yashau
He wills
وَيَرۡحَمُ
wayarhamu
and has mercy
مَن
man
(on) whom
يَشَآءُۖ
yashau
He wills
وَإِلَيۡهِ
wa-ilayhi
and to Him
تُقۡلَبُونَ
tuq'labuna
you will be returned

29:22
وَمَآ
wama
And not
أَنتُم
antum
you
بِمُعۡجِزِينَ
bimu'jizina
can escape
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
وَلَا
wala
and not
فِي
fi
in
ٱلسَّمَآءِۖ
al-samai
the heaven
وَمَا
wama
And not
لَكُم
lakum
for you
مِّن
min
besides
دُونِ
duni
besides
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
مِن
min
any
وَلِيّٖ
waliyyin
protector
وَلَا
wala
and not
نَصِيرٖ
nasirin
a helper
