26:192

وَإِنَّهُۥ

wa-innahu

And indeed it

لَتَنزِيلُ

latanzilu

surely is a Revelation

رَبِّ

rabbi

(of the) Lord

ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

al-'alamina

(of) the worlds

١٩٢

26:193

نَزَلَ

nazala

Has brought it down

بِهِ

bihi

Has brought it down

ٱلرُّوحُ

al-ruhu

the Spirit

ٱلۡأَمِينُ

al-aminu

[the] Trustworthy

١٩٣

26:194

عَلَىٰ

ala

Upon

قَلۡبِكَ

qalbika

your heart

لِتَكُونَ

litakuna

that you may be

مِنَ

mina

ٱلۡمُنذِرِينَ

al-mundhirina

the warners

١٩٤

26:195

بِلِسَانٍ

bilisanin

In language

عَرَبِيّٖ

arabiyyin

Arabic

مُّبِينٖ

mubinin

clear

١٩٥

26:196

وَإِنَّهُۥ

wa-innahu

And indeed it

لَفِي

lafi

surely (is) in

زُبُرِ

zuburi

(the) Scriptures

ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

al-awalina

(of) the former (people)

١٩٦

26:197

أَوَلَمۡ

awalam

Is it not

يَكُن

yakun

Is it not

لَّهُمۡ

lahum

to them

ءَايَةً

ayatan

a sign

أَن

that

يَعۡلَمَهُۥ

ya'lamahu

know it

عُلَمَٰٓؤُاْ

ulamau

(the) scholars

بَنِيٓ

bani

(of the) Children

إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ

is'raila

(of) Israel

١٩٧

26:198

وَلَوۡ

walaw

And if

نَزَّلۡنَٰهُ

nazzalnahu

We (had) revealed it

عَلَىٰ

ala

بَعۡضِ

ba'di

any

ٱلۡأَعۡجَمِينَ

al-a'jamina

(of) the non-Arabs

١٩٨

26:199

فَقَرَأَهُۥ

faqara-ahu

And he (had) recited it

عَلَيۡهِم

alayhim

to them

مَّا

not

كَانُواْ

kanu

they would

بِهِۦ

bihi

in it

مُؤۡمِنِينَ

mu'minina

(be) believers

١٩٩

26:200

كَذَٰلِكَ

kadhalika

Thus

سَلَكۡنَٰهُ

salaknahu

We have inserted it

فِي

into

قُلُوبِ

qulubi

(the) hearts

ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ

al-muj'rimina

(of) the criminals

٢٠٠

26:201

لَا

Not

يُؤۡمِنُونَ

yu'minuna

they will believe

بِهِۦ

bihi

in it

حَتَّىٰ

hatta

until

يَرَوُاْ

yarawu

they see

ٱلۡعَذَابَ

al-'adhaba

the punishment

ٱلۡأَلِيمَ

al-alima

[the] painful

٢٠١

26:202

فَيَأۡتِيَهُم

fayatiyahum

And it will come to them

بَغۡتَةٗ

baghtatan

suddenly

وَهُمۡ

wahum

while they

لَا

(do) not

يَشۡعُرُونَ

yash'uruna

perceive

٢٠٢

26:203

فَيَقُولُواْ

fayaqulu

Then they will say

هَلۡ

hal

Are

نَحۡنُ

nahnu

مُنظَرُونَ

munzaruna

(to be) reprieved

٢٠٣

26:204

أَفَبِعَذَابِنَا

afabi'adhabina

So is it for Our punishment

يَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَ

yasta'jiluna

they wish to hasten

٢٠٤

26:205

أَفَرَءَيۡتَ

afara-ayta

Then have you seen

إِن

مَّتَّعۡنَٰهُمۡ

matta'nahum

We let them enjoy

سِنِينَ

sinina

(for) years

٢٠٥

26:206

ثُمَّ

thumma

Then

جَآءَهُم

jaahum

comes to them

مَّا

what

كَانُواْ

kanu

they were

يُوعَدُونَ

yu'aduna

promised

مَآ

Not

أَغۡنَىٰ

aghna

(will) avail

عَنۡهُم

anhum

them

مَّا

what

كَانُواْ

kanu

enjoyment they were given

يُمَتَّعُونَ

yumatta'una

enjoyment they were given

٢٠٧

26:208

وَمَآ

wama

And not

أَهۡلَكۡنَا

ahlakna

We destroyed

مِن

min

any

قَرۡيَةٍ

qaryatin

town

إِلَّا

illa

but

لَهَا

laha

it had

مُنذِرُونَ

mundhiruna

warners

٢٠٨

26:209

ذِكۡرَىٰ

dhik'ra

(To) remind

وَمَا

wama

and not

كُنَّا

kunna

We are

ظَٰلِمِينَ

zalimina

unjust

٢٠٩

26:210

وَمَا

wama

And not

تَنَزَّلَتۡ

tanazzalat

have brought it down

بِهِ

bihi

have brought it down

ٱلشَّيَٰطِينُ

al-shayatinu

the devils

٢١٠

26:211

وَمَا

wama

And not

يَنۢبَغِي

yanbaghi

(it) suits

لَهُمۡ

lahum

[for] them

وَمَا

wama

and not

يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ

yastati'una

they are able

٢١١

26:212

إِنَّهُمۡ

innahum

Indeed they

عَنِ

ani

from

ٱلسَّمۡعِ

al-sam'i

the hearing

لَمَعۡزُولُونَ

lama'zuluna

(are) surely banished

٢١٢

26:213

فَلَا

fala

So (do) not

تَدۡعُ

tad'u

invoke

مَعَ

ma'a

with

ٱللَّهِ

al-lahi

Allah

إِلَٰهًا

ilahan

god

ءَاخَرَ

akhara

another

فَتَكُونَ

fatakuna

lest you be

مِنَ

mina

ٱلۡمُعَذَّبِينَ

al-mu'adhabina

those punished

٢١٣

26:214

وَأَنذِرۡ

wa-andhir

And warn

عَشِيرَتَكَ

ashirataka

your kindred

ٱلۡأَقۡرَبِينَ

al-aqrabina

[the] closest

٢١٤

26:215

وَٱخۡفِضۡ

wa-ikh'fid

And lower

جَنَاحَكَ

janahaka

your wing

لِمَنِ

limani

to (those) who

ٱتَّبَعَكَ

ittaba'aka

follow you

مِنَ

mina

ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

al-mu'minina

the believers

٢١٥

26:216

فَإِنۡ

fa-in

Then if

عَصَوۡكَ

asawka

they disobey you

فَقُلۡ

faqul

then say

إِنِّي

inni

Indeed I am

بَرِيٓءٞ

barion

innocent

مِّمَّا

mimma

of what

تَعۡمَلُونَ

ta'maluna

you do

٢١٦

26:217

وَتَوَكَّلۡ

watawakkal

And put (your) trust

عَلَى

ala

ٱلۡعَزِيزِ

al-'azizi

the All-Mighty

ٱلرَّحِيمِ

al-rahimi

the Most Merciful

٢١٧

26:218

ٱلَّذِي

alladhi

The One Who

يَرَىٰكَ

yaraka

sees you

حِينَ

hina

when

تَقُومُ

taqumu

you stand up

٢١٨

26:219

وَتَقَلُّبَكَ

wataqal-lubaka

And your movements

فِي

among

ٱلسَّٰجِدِينَ

al-sajidina

those who prostrate

٢١٩

26:220

إِنَّهُۥ

innahu

Indeed He

هُوَ

huwa

[He]

ٱلسَّمِيعُ

al-sami'u

(is) the All-Hearer

ٱلۡعَلِيمُ

al-'alimu

the All-Knower

٢٢٠

26:221

هَلۡ

hal

Shall

أُنَبِّئُكُمۡ

unabbi-ukum

I inform you

عَلَىٰ

ala

upon

مَن

man

whom

تَنَزَّلُ

tanazzalu

descend

ٱلشَّيَٰطِينُ

al-shayatinu

the devils

٢٢١

26:222

تَنَزَّلُ

tanazzalu

They descend

عَلَىٰ

ala

upon

كُلِّ

kulli

every

أَفَّاكٍ

affakin

liar

أَثِيمٖ

athimin

sinful

٢٢٢

26:223

يُلۡقُونَ

yul'quna

They pass on

ٱلسَّمۡعَ

al-sam'a

(what is) heard

وَأَكۡثَرُهُمۡ

wa-aktharuhum

and most of them

كَٰذِبُونَ

kadhibuna

(are) liars

٢٢٣

26:224

وَٱلشُّعَرَآءُ

wal-shu'arau

And the poets

يَتَّبِعُهُمُ

yattabi'uhumu

follow them

ٱلۡغَاوُۥنَ

al-ghawuna

the deviators

٢٢٤

26:225

أَلَمۡ

alam

Do not

تَرَ

tara

you see

أَنَّهُمۡ

annahum

that they

فِي

كُلِّ

kulli

every

وَادٖ

wadin

valley

يَهِيمُونَ

yahimuna

[they] roam

٢٢٥

26:226

وَأَنَّهُمۡ

wa-annahum

And that they

يَقُولُونَ

yaquluna

say

مَا

what

لَا

not

يَفۡعَلُونَ

yaf 'aluna

they do

٢٢٦

26:227

إِلَّا

illa

Except

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhina

those who

ءَامَنُواْ

amanu

believe

وَعَمِلُواْ

wa'amilu

and do

ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ

al-salihati

righteous deeds

وَذَكَرُواْ

wadhakaru

and remember

ٱللَّهَ

al-laha

Allah

كَثِيرٗا

kathiran

much

وَٱنتَصَرُواْ

wa-intasaru

and defend themselves

مِنۢ

min

after

بَعۡدِ

ba'di

after

مَا

after

ظُلِمُواْۗ

zulimu

they were wronged

وَسَيَعۡلَمُ

wasaya'lamu

And will come to know

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhina

those who

ظَلَمُوٓاْ

zalamu

have wronged

أَيَّ

ayya

(to) what

مُنقَلَبٖ

munqalabin

return

يَنقَلِبُونَ

yanqalibuna

they will return

٢٢٧
