۞أَفَتَطۡمَعُونَ
afatatma'una
Do you hope
أَن
an
that
يُؤۡمِنُواْ
yu'minu
they will believe
لَكُمۡ
lakum
[for] you
وَقَدۡ
waqad
while indeed
كَانَ
kana
(there) has been
فَرِيقٞ
fariqun
a party
مِّنۡهُمۡ
min'hum
of them
يَسۡمَعُونَ
yasma'una
(who used to) hear
كَلَٰمَ
kalama
(the) words
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
يُحَرِّفُونَهُۥ
yuharrifunahu
they distort it
مِنۢ
min
from
بَعۡدِ
ba'di
after
مَا
ma
[what]
عَقَلُوهُ
aqaluhu
they understood it
وَهُمۡ
wahum
while they
يَعۡلَمُونَ
ya'lamuna
know
