5:67

۞يَٰٓأَيُّهَا

Yaaaʹayyuhar

ٱلرَّسُولُ

Rasoolu

Messenger

بَلِّغۡ

ballig̣

Convey

مَآ

maaa

what

أُنزِلَ

ʹuñzila

has been revealed

إِلَيۡكَ

ʹilayka

to you

مِن

mir

from

رَّبِّكَۖ

Rabbik.

your Lord

وَإِن

Wa-ʹil

and if

لَّمۡ

lam

not

تَفۡعَلۡ

tafʻal

you do

فَمَا

famaa

then not

بَلَّغۡتَ

ballag̣ta

you (have) conveyed

رِسَالَتَهُۥۚ

Risaalatah.

His Message

وَٱللَّهُ

Wallaahu

And Allah

يَعۡصِمُكَ

yaʻṣimuka

will protect you

مِنَ

minan

from

ٱلنَّاسِۗ

naas.

the people

إِنَّ

ʹInnal

Indeed

ٱللَّهَ

laaha

Allah

لَا

laa-

(does) not

يَهۡدِي

yahdil

guide

ٱلۡقَوۡمَ

q̣awmal

the people

ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ

Kaafireen.

the disbelieving

٦٧

5:68

قُلۡ

Q̣ul

Say

يَٰٓأَهۡلَ

yaaaʹAhlal

O People

ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ

Kitaabi

(of) the Book

لَسۡتُمۡ

lastum

You are not

عَلَىٰ

ʻalaa

شَيۡءٍ

shayʹin

anything

حَتَّىٰ

ḥattaa

until

تُقِيمُواْ

tuq̣eemut

you stand firmly

ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةَ

Tawraata

(by) the Taurat

وَٱلۡإِنجِيلَ

wal-ʹIñjeela

and the Injeel

وَمَآ

wa-maaa

and what

أُنزِلَ

ʹuñzila

has been revealed

إِلَيۡكُم

ʹilaykum

to you

مِّن

mir

from

رَّبِّكُمۡۗ

Rabbikum.

your Lord

وَلَيَزِيدَنَّ

Wa-layazeedanna

And surely increase

كَثِيرٗا

kas̤eeram

many

مِّنۡهُم

minhum

of them

مَّآ

maaa

what

أُنزِلَ

uñzila

has been revealed

إِلَيۡكَ

ʹilayka

to you

مِن

mir

from

رَّبِّكَ

Rabbika

your Lord

طُغۡيَٰنٗا

ṭug̣yaanañw

(in) rebellion

وَكُفۡرٗاۖ

wakufraa.

and disbelief

فَلَا

Falaa

So (do) not

تَأۡسَ

taʹsa

grieve

عَلَى

ʻalal

over

ٱلۡقَوۡمِ

Q̣awmil

the people

ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ

Kaafireen.

the disbelieving

٦٨

5:69

إِنَّ

ʹInnal

Indeed

ٱلَّذِينَ

laẓeena

those who

ءَامَنُواْ

ʹaamanoo

believed

وَٱلَّذِينَ

wallaẓeena

and those who

هَادُواْ

haadoo

became Jews

وَٱلصَّٰبِـُٔونَ

waṣ-Ṣaabiʹoona

and the Sabians

وَٱلنَّصَٰرَىٰ

wan-Naṣaaraa

and the Christians

مَنۡ

man

whoever

ءَامَنَ

ʹaamana

believed

بِٱللَّهِ

billaahi

in Allah

وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ

wal-Yawmil

and the Day

ٱلۡأٓخِرِ

ʹAakhiri

the Last

وَعَمِلَ

wa-ʻamila

and did

صَٰلِحٗا

ṣaaliḥañ

good deeds

فَلَا

falaa

then no

خَوۡفٌ

khawfun

fear

عَلَيۡهِمۡ

ʻalayhim

on them

وَلَا

wa-laa

and not

هُمۡ

hum

they

يَحۡزَنُونَ

yaḥzanoon.

will grieve

٦٩

5:70

لَقَدۡ

Laq̣ad

Certainly

أَخَذۡنَا

ʹakhaẓnaa

We took

مِيثَٰقَ

Mees̤aaq̣a

a Covenant

بَنِيٓ

Baneee

(from the) Children

إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ

ʹIsraaaʹeela

(of) Israel

وَأَرۡسَلۡنَآ

wa-ʹarsalnaaa

and We sent

إِلَيۡهِمۡ

ʹilayhim

to them

رُسُلٗاۖ

rusulaa.

Messengers

كُلَّمَا

Kullamaa

Whenever

جَآءَهُمۡ

jaaʹahum

came to them

رَسُولُۢ

Rasoolum

any Messenger

بِمَا

bimaa

with what

لَا

laa-

not

تَهۡوَىٰٓ

tahwaaa

desired

أَنفُسُهُمۡ

ʹañfusuhum

their souls

فَرِيقٗا

fareeq̣añ

a group

كَذَّبُواْ

kaẓẓaboo

they denied

وَفَرِيقٗا

wa-fareeq̣añy

and a group

يَقۡتُلُونَ

yaq̣tuloon.

they kill

5:71

وَحَسِبُوٓاْ

Waḥasibooo

And they thought

أَلَّا

ʹallaa

that not

تَكُونَ

takoona

will be (for them)

فِتۡنَةٞ

fitnatuñ

a trial

فَعَمُواْ

faʻamoo

so they became blind

وَصَمُّواْ

waṣammoo

and they became deaf

ثُمَّ

s̤umma

Then

تَابَ

taabal

turned

ٱللَّهُ

laahu

Allah

عَلَيۡهِمۡ

ʻalayhim

to them

ثُمَّ

s̤umma

then (again)

عَمُواْ

ʻamoo

they became blind

وَصَمُّواْ

waṣammoo

and they became deaf

كَثِيرٞ

kas̤eerum

many

مِّنۡهُمۡۚ

minhum.

of them

وَٱللَّهُ

Wallaahu

And Allah

بَصِيرُۢ

Baṣeerum

(is) All-Seer

بِمَا

bimaa

of what

يَعۡمَلُونَ

yaʻmaloon.

they do

٧١

5:72

لَقَدۡ

Laq̣ad

Certainly

كَفَرَ

kafaral

disbelieved

ٱلَّذِينَ

laẓeena

those who

قَالُوٓاْ

q̣aalooo

say

إِنَّ

ʹinnal

Indeed

ٱللَّهَ

laaha

Allah

هُوَ

Huwal

ٱلۡمَسِيحُ

Maseeḥub

(is) the Messiah

ٱبۡنُ

son

مَرۡيَمَۖ

Maryam.

(of) Maryam

وَقَالَ

Wa-q̣aalal

While said

ٱلۡمَسِيحُ

Maseeḥu

the Messiah

يَٰبَنِيٓ

yaa-baneee

O Children

إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ

ʹIsraaaʹeelaʻ

(of) Israel

ٱعۡبُدُواْ

U’budul

Worship

ٱللَّهَ

laaha

Allah

رَبِّي

Rabbee

my Lord

وَرَبَّكُمۡۖ

wa-Rabbakum.

and your Lord

إِنَّهُۥ

ʹInnahoo

Indeed he

مَن

mañy

who

يُشۡرِكۡ

yushrik

associates partners

بِٱللَّهِ

billaahi

with Allah

فَقَدۡ

faq̣ad

then surely

حَرَّمَ

ḥarramal

(has) forbidden

ٱللَّهُ

laahu

Allah

عَلَيۡهِ

ʻalayhil

for him

ٱلۡجَنَّةَ

Jannata

Paradise

وَمَأۡوَىٰهُ

wa-maʹwaahun

and his abode

ٱلنَّارُۖ

Naar.

(will be) the Fire

وَمَا

Wa-maa

And not

لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ

liz̤̣z̤̣aalimeena

for the wrongdoers

مِنۡ

min

any

أَنصَارٖ

ʻañṣaar.

helpers

٧٢

5:73

لَّقَدۡ

Laq̣ad

Certainly

كَفَرَ

kafaral

disbelieved

ٱلَّذِينَ

laẓeena

those who

قَالُوٓاْ

q̣aalooo

say

إِنَّ

ʹinnal

Indeed

ٱللَّهَ

laaha

Allah

ثَالِثُ

S̤aaliṣu

(is the) third

ثَلَٰثَةٖۘ

S̤alaas̤ah.

(of) three

وَمَا

Wa-maa

And (there is) no

مِنۡ

min

[of]

إِلَٰهٍ

ʹilaahin

god

إِلَّآ

ʹillaaa

except

إِلَٰهٞ

ʹIlaahuñw

(the) God

وَٰحِدٞۚ

Waaḥid.

(the) One

وَإِن

Wa-ʹil

And if

لَّمۡ

lam

not

يَنتَهُواْ

yañtahoo

they desist

عَمَّا

ʻammaa

from what

يَقُولُونَ

yaq̣ooloona

they are saying

لَيَمَسَّنَّ

layamassannal

surely will afflict

ٱلَّذِينَ

laẓeena

those who

كَفَرُواْ

kafaroo

disbelieved

مِنۡهُمۡ

minhum

among them

عَذَابٌ

ʻaẓaabun

a punishment

أَلِيمٌ

ʹaleem.

painful

٧٣

5:74

أَفَلَا

ʹAfalaa

So will not

يَتُوبُونَ

yatooboona

they turn in repentance

إِلَى

ʹilal

ٱللَّهِ

laahi

Allah

وَيَسۡتَغۡفِرُونَهُۥۚ

wa-yastag̣firoonah?

and seek His forgiveness

وَٱللَّهُ

Wallaahu

And Allah

غَفُورٞ

G̣afoorur

(is) Oft-Forgiving

رَّحِيمٞ

Raḥeem.

Most Merciful

٧٤

5:75

مَّا

Mal

Not

ٱلۡمَسِيحُ

maseeḥub

(is) the Messiah

ٱبۡنُ

son

مَرۡيَمَ

maryama

(of) Maryam

إِلَّا

illaa

but

رَسُولٞ

rasool;

a Messenger

قَدۡ

q̣ad

certainly

خَلَتۡ

khalat

had passed

مِن

miñ

from

قَبۡلِهِ

q̣ablihir

before him

ٱلرُّسُلُ

rusul.

the Messengers

وَأُمُّهُۥ

Wa-ʹummuhoo

And his mother

صِدِّيقَةٞۖ

S̤iddeeq̣ah.

(was) truthful

كَانَا

Kaanaa

They both used to

يَأۡكُلَانِ

yaʹ-kulaaniṭ

eat

ٱلطَّعَامَۗ

ṭaʻaam.

[the] food

ٱنظُرۡ

ʹUñz̤̣ur

See

كَيۡفَ

kayfa

how

نُبَيِّنُ

nubayyinu

We make clear

لَهُمُ

lahumul

to them

ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ

ʹaayaati

the Signs

ثُمَّ

s̤ummañ

then

ٱنظُرۡ

z̤̣ur

see

أَنَّىٰ

annaa

how

يُؤۡفَكُونَ

yuʹfakoon!

they are deluded

٧٥

5:76

قُلۡ

Q̣ul

Say

أَتَعۡبُدُونَ

ʹataʻbudoona

Do you worship

مِن

miñ

from

دُونِ

doonil

besides

ٱللَّهِ

laahi

Allah

مَا

maa-

what

لَا

laa-

not

يَمۡلِكُ

yamliku

has power

لَكُمۡ

lakum

to (cause) you

ضَرّٗا

ḍarrañw

any harm

وَلَا

walaa

and not

نَفۡعٗاۚ

nafʻaa?

any benefit

وَٱللَّهُ

Wallaahu

while Allah

هُوَ

Huwas

ٱلسَّمِيعُ

Sameeʻul

(is) the All-Hearing

ٱلۡعَلِيمُ

ʻAleem.

the All-Knowing

5:77

قُلۡ

Q̣ul

Say

يَٰٓأَهۡلَ

yaaaʹAhlal

O People

ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ

Kitaabi

(of) the Book

لَا

laa-

(Do) not

تَغۡلُواْ

tag̣loo

exceed

فِي

fee

دِينِكُمۡ

Deenikum

your religion

غَيۡرَ

g̣ayral

other than

ٱلۡحَقِّ

ḥaq̣q̣i

the truth

وَلَا

wa-laa

and (do) not

تَتَّبِعُوٓاْ

tattabiʻooo

أَهۡوَآءَ

ʹahwaaaʹa

(vain) desires

قَوۡمٖ

q̣awmiñ

(of) a people

قَدۡ

q̣ad

certainly

ضَلُّواْ

ḍalloo

who went astray

مِن

miñ

from

قَبۡلُ

q̣ablu

before

وَأَضَلُّواْ

wa-ʹaḍalloo

and they misled

كَثِيرٗا

kaseerañw

many

وَضَلُّواْ

waḍalloo

and they have strayed

عَن

ʻañ

from

سَوَآءِ

sawaaaʹis

(the) right

ٱلسَّبِيلِ

sabeel.

[the] way

٧٧

5:78

لُعِنَ

Luʻinal

Were cursed

ٱلَّذِينَ

laẓeena

those who

كَفَرُواْ

kafaroo

disbelieved

مِنۢ

mim

from

بَنِيٓ

baneee

(the) Children

إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ

ʹIsraaaʹeela

(of) Israel

عَلَىٰ

ʻalaa

لِسَانِ

lisaani

(the) tongue

دَاوُۥدَ

Daawooda

(of) Dawood

وَعِيسَى

wa-ʻEesab

and Isa

ٱبۡنِ

son

مَرۡيَمَۚ

Maryam:

(of) Maryam

ذَٰلِكَ

ẓaalika

that (was)

بِمَا

bimaa

because

عَصَواْ

ʻaṣaw

they disobeyed

وَّكَانُواْ

Wakaanoo

and they were

يَعۡتَدُونَ

yaʻtadoon.

transgressing

٧٨

5:79

كَانُواْ

Kaanoo

They had been

لَا

laa-

not

يَتَنَاهَوۡنَ

yatanaahawna

forbidding each other

عَن

ʻam

from

مُّنكَرٖ

muñkariñ

wrongdoing

فَعَلُوهُۚ

faʻalooh:

they did [it]

لَبِئۡسَ

Labiʹsa

Surely evil

مَا

maa-

(was) what

كَانُواْ

kaanoo

they were

يَفۡعَلُونَ

yafʻaloon!

doing

٧٩

5:80

تَرَىٰ

Taraa

You see

كَثِيرٗا

kas̤eeram

many

مِّنۡهُمۡ

minhum

of them

يَتَوَلَّوۡنَ

yatawallawnal

taking as allies

ٱلَّذِينَ

laẓeena

those who

كَفَرُواْۚ

kafaroo.

disbelieved

لَبِئۡسَ

Labiʹsa

Surely evil

مَا

maa-

(is) what

قَدَّمَتۡ

q̣addamat

sent forth

لَهُمۡ

lahum

for them

أَنفُسُهُمۡ

ʹañfusuhum

their souls

أَن

ʹañ

that

سَخِطَ

sakhiṭal

became angry

ٱللَّهُ

laahu

Allah

عَلَيۡهِمۡ

ʻalayhim

with them

وَفِي

wa-fil

and in

ٱلۡعَذَابِ

ʻaẓaabi

the punishment

هُمۡ

hum

they

خَٰلِدُونَ

khaalidoon.

(will) abide forever

٨٠

5:81

وَلَوۡ

Wa-law

And if

كَانُواْ

kaanoo

they had

يُؤۡمِنُونَ

yuʹminoona

believed

بِٱللَّهِ

billaahi

in Allah

وَٱلنَّبِيِّ

wan-nabiyyi

and the Prophet

وَمَآ

wa-maaa

and what

أُنزِلَ

ʹuñzila

has been revealed

إِلَيۡهِ

ʹilayhi

to him

مَا

mat

not

ٱتَّخَذُوهُمۡ

takhaẓoohum

they (would have) taken them

أَوۡلِيَآءَ

ʹawliyaaaʹa

(as) allies

وَلَٰكِنَّ

wa-laakinna

[and] but

كَثِيرٗا

kas̤eeram

many

مِّنۡهُمۡ

minhum

of them

فَٰسِقُونَ

faasiq̣oon.

(are) defiantly disobedient
