5:51
۞يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O you
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
لَا
la
(Do) not
تَتَّخِذُواْ
tattakhidhu
take
ٱلۡيَهُودَ
al-yahuda
the Jews
وَٱلنَّصَٰرَىٰٓ
wal-nasara
and the Christians
أَوۡلِيَآءَۘ
awliyaa
(as) allies
بَعۡضُهُمۡ
ba'duhum
Some of them
أَوۡلِيَآءُ
awliyau
(are) allies
بَعۡضٖۚ
ba'din
(to) others
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يَتَوَلَّهُم
yatawallahum
takes them as allies
مِّنكُمۡ
minkum
among you
فَإِنَّهُۥ
fa-innahu
then indeed he
مِنۡهُمۡۗ
min'hum
(is) of them
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
لَا
la
(does) not
يَهۡدِي
yahdi
guide
ٱلۡقَوۡمَ
al-qawma
the people
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
al-zalimina
the wrongdoing
٥١
5:52
فَتَرَى
fatara
And you see
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those
فِي
fi
in
قُلُوبِهِم
qulubihim
their hearts
مَّرَضٞ
maradun
(is) a disease
يُسَٰرِعُونَ
yusari'una
they hasten
فِيهِمۡ
fihim
to them
يَقُولُونَ
yaquluna
saying
نَخۡشَىٰٓ
nakhsha
We fear
أَن
an
that
تُصِيبَنَا
tusibana
(may) strike us
دَآئِرَةٞۚ
dairatun
a misfortune
فَعَسَى
fa'asa
But perhaps
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
أَن
an
[that]
يَأۡتِيَ
yatiya
will bring
بِٱلۡفَتۡحِ
bil-fathi
the victory
أَوۡ
aw
or
أَمۡرٖ
amrin
a decision
مِّنۡ
min
from
عِندِهِۦ
indihi
(of) Him
فَيُصۡبِحُواْ
fayus'bihu
Then they will become
عَلَىٰ
ala
for
مَآ
ma
what
أَسَرُّواْ
asarru
they had concealed
فِيٓ
fi
within
أَنفُسِهِمۡ
anfusihim
themselves
نَٰدِمِينَ
nadimina
regretful
٥٢
5:53
وَيَقُولُ
wayaqulu
And will say
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ءَامَنُوٓاْ
amanu
believe
أَهَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
ahaulai
Are these
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
أَقۡسَمُواْ
aqsamu
swore
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
by Allah
جَهۡدَ
jahda
strongest
أَيۡمَٰنِهِمۡ
aymanihim
(of) their oaths
إِنَّهُمۡ
innahum
indeed they
لَمَعَكُمۡۚ
lama'akum
(were) with you
حَبِطَتۡ
habitat
Became worthless
أَعۡمَٰلُهُمۡ
a'maluhum
their deeds
فَأَصۡبَحُواْ
fa-asbahu
and they became
خَٰسِرِينَ
khasirina
(the) losers
٥٣
5:54
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O you
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
مَن
man
Whoever
يَرۡتَدَّ
yartadda
turns back
مِنكُمۡ
minkum
among you
عَن
an
from
دِينِهِۦ
dinihi
his religion
فَسَوۡفَ
fasawfa
then soon
يَأۡتِي
yati
(will be) brought
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
(by) Allah
بِقَوۡمٖ
biqawmin
a people
يُحِبُّهُمۡ
yuhibbuhum
whom He loves
وَيُحِبُّونَهُۥٓ
wayuhibbunahu
and they love Him
أَذِلَّةٍ
adhillatin
humble
عَلَى
ala
towards
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
al-mu'minina
the believers
أَعِزَّةٍ
a'izzatin
(and) stern
عَلَى
ala
towards
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
al-kafirina
the disbelievers
يُجَٰهِدُونَ
yujahiduna
striving
فِي
fi
in
سَبِيلِ
sabili
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
وَلَا
wala
and not
يَخَافُونَ
yakhafuna
fearing
لَوۡمَةَ
lawmata
the blame
لَآئِمٖۚ
laimin
(of) a critic
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
فَضۡلُ
fadlu
(is the) Grace
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
يُؤۡتِيهِ
yu'tihi
He grants
مَن
man
whom
يَشَآءُۚ
yashau
He wills
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
وَٰسِعٌ
wasi'un
(is) All-Encompassing
عَلِيمٌ
alimun
All-Knowing
٥٤
5:55
إِنَّمَا
innama
Only
وَلِيُّكُمُ
waliyyukumu
your ally
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
(is) Allah
وَرَسُولُهُۥ
warasuluhu
and His Messenger
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
and those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
and those who
يُقِيمُونَ
yuqimuna
establish
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
al-salata
the prayer
وَيُؤۡتُونَ
wayu'tuna
and give
ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ
al-zakata
zakah
وَهُمۡ
wahum
and they
رَٰكِعُونَ
raki'una
(are) those who bow down
٥٥
5:56
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يَتَوَلَّ
yatawalla
takes as an ally
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥ
warasulahu
and His Messenger
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
and those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
فَإِنَّ
fa-inna
then indeed
حِزۡبَ
hiz'ba
(the) party
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
هُمُ
humu
they
ٱلۡغَٰلِبُونَ
al-ghalibuna
(are) the victorious
٥٦
5:57
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O you
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
لَا
la
(Do) not
تَتَّخِذُواْ
tattakhidhu
take
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ٱتَّخَذُواْ
ittakhadhu
take
دِينَكُمۡ
dinakum
your religion
هُزُوٗا
huzuwan
(in) ridicule
وَلَعِبٗا
wala'iban
and fun
مِّنَ
mina
from
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
أُوتُواْ
utu
are given
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
al-kitaba
the Book
مِن
min
from
قَبۡلِكُمۡ
qablikum
before you
وَٱلۡكُفَّارَ
wal-kufara
and the disbelievers
أَوۡلِيَآءَۚ
awliyaa
(as) allies
وَٱتَّقُواْ
wa-ittaqu
And fear
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
إِن
in
if
كُنتُم
kuntum
you are
مُّؤۡمِنِينَ
mu'minina
believers
٥٧

5:58
وَإِذَا
wa-idha
And when
نَادَيۡتُمۡ
nadaytum
you make a call
إِلَى
ila
for
ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ
al-salati
the prayer
ٱتَّخَذُوهَا
ittakhadhuha
they take it
هُزُوٗا
huzuwan
(in) ridicule
وَلَعِبٗاۚ
wala'iban
and fun
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
بِأَنَّهُمۡ
bi-annahum
(is) because they
قَوۡمٞ
qawmun
(are) a people
لَّا
la
(who do) not
يَعۡقِلُونَ
ya'qiluna
understand
٥٨
5:59
قُلۡ
qul
Say
يَٰٓأَهۡلَ
yaahla
O People
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
al-kitabi
(of) the Book
هَلۡ
hal
Do
تَنقِمُونَ
tanqimuna
you resent
مِنَّآ
minna
[of] us
إِلَّآ
illa
except
أَنۡ
an
that
ءَامَنَّا
amanna
we believe
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
in Allah
وَمَآ
wama
and what
أُنزِلَ
unzila
has been revealed
إِلَيۡنَا
ilayna
to us
وَمَآ
wama
and what
أُنزِلَ
unzila
was revealed
مِن
min
from
قَبۡلُ
qablu
before
وَأَنَّ
wa-anna
and that
أَكۡثَرَكُمۡ
aktharakum
most of you
فَٰسِقُونَ
fasiquna
(are) defiantly disobedient
٥٩
5:60
قُلۡ
qul
Say
هَلۡ
hal
Shall
أُنَبِّئُكُم
unabbi-ukum
I inform you
بِشَرّٖ
bisharrin
(of) worse
مِّن
min
than
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
that
مَثُوبَةً
mathubatan
(as) recompense
عِندَ
inda
from
ٱللَّهِۚ
al-lahi
Allah
مَن
man
Whom
لَّعَنَهُ
la'anahu
has (been) cursed
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
(by) Allah
وَغَضِبَ
waghadiba
and He became angry
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
with him
وَجَعَلَ
waja'ala
and made
مِنۡهُمُ
min'humu
of them
ٱلۡقِرَدَةَ
al-qiradata
[the] apes
وَٱلۡخَنَازِيرَ
wal-khanazira
and [the] swines
وَعَبَدَ
wa'abada
and (who) worshipped
ٱلطَّٰغُوتَۚ
al-taghuta
the false deities
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
Those
شَرّٞ
sharrun
(are) worse
مَّكَانٗا
makanan
(in) position
وَأَضَلُّ
wa-adallu
and farthest astray
عَن
an
from
سَوَآءِ
sawai
(the) even
ٱلسَّبِيلِ
al-sabili
way
٦٠
5:61
وَإِذَا
wa-idha
And when
جَآءُوكُمۡ
jaukum
they come to you
قَالُوٓاْ
qalu
they say
ءَامَنَّا
amanna
We believe
وَقَد
waqad
But certainly
دَّخَلُواْ
dakhalu
they entered
بِٱلۡكُفۡرِ
bil-kuf'ri
with disbelief
وَهُمۡ
wahum
and they
قَدۡ
qad
certainly
خَرَجُواْ
kharaju
went out
بِهِۦۚ
bihi
with it
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
أَعۡلَمُ
a'lamu
knows best
بِمَا
bima
[of] what
كَانُواْ
kanu
they were
يَكۡتُمُونَ
yaktumuna
hiding
٦١
5:62
وَتَرَىٰ
watara
And you see
كَثِيرٗا
kathiran
many
مِّنۡهُمۡ
min'hum
of them
يُسَٰرِعُونَ
yusari'una
hastening
فِي
fi
into
ٱلۡإِثۡمِ
al-ith'mi
[the] sin
وَٱلۡعُدۡوَٰنِ
wal-'ud'wani
and [the] transgression
وَأَكۡلِهِمُ
wa-aklihimu
and eating
ٱلسُّحۡتَۚ
al-suh'ta
the forbidden
لَبِئۡسَ
labi'sa
Surely evil
مَا
ma
(is) what
كَانُواْ
kanu
they were
يَعۡمَلُونَ
ya'maluna
doing
٦٢
5:63
لَوۡلَا
lawla
Why (do) not
يَنۡهَىٰهُمُ
yanhahumu
forbid them
ٱلرَّبَّٰنِيُّونَ
al-rabaniyuna
the Rabbis
وَٱلۡأَحۡبَارُ
wal-ahbaru
and the religious scholars
عَن
an
from
قَوۡلِهِمُ
qawlihimu
their saying
ٱلۡإِثۡمَ
al-ith'ma
the sinful
وَأَكۡلِهِمُ
wa-aklihimu
and their eating
ٱلسُّحۡتَۚ
al-suh'ta
(of) the forbidden
لَبِئۡسَ
labi'sa
Surely evil
مَا
ma
(is) what
كَانُواْ
kanu
they used to
يَصۡنَعُونَ
yasna'una
do
٦٣
5:64
وَقَالَتِ
waqalati
And said
ٱلۡيَهُودُ
al-yahudu
the Jews
يَدُ
yadu
The Hand
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
مَغۡلُولَةٌۚ
maghlulatun
(is) chained
غُلَّتۡ
ghullat
Are chained
أَيۡدِيهِمۡ
aydihim
their hands
وَلُعِنُواْ
walu'inu
and they have been cursed
بِمَا
bima
for what
قَالُواْۘ
qalu
they said
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
يَدَاهُ
yadahu
His Hands
مَبۡسُوطَتَانِ
mabsutatani
(are) stretched out
يُنفِقُ
yunfiqu
He spends
كَيۡفَ
kayfa
how
يَشَآءُۚ
yashau
He wills
وَلَيَزِيدَنَّ
walayazidanna
And surely increase
كَثِيرٗا
kathiran
many
مِّنۡهُم
min'hum
of them
مَّآ
ma
what
أُنزِلَ
unzila
has been revealed
إِلَيۡكَ
ilayka
to you
مِن
min
from
رَّبِّكَ
rabbika
your Lord
طُغۡيَٰنٗا
tugh'yanan
(in) rebellion
وَكُفۡرٗاۚ
wakuf'ran
and disbelief
وَأَلۡقَيۡنَا
wa-alqayna
And We have cast
بَيۡنَهُمُ
baynahumu
among them
ٱلۡعَدَٰوَةَ
al-'adawata
[the] enmity
وَٱلۡبَغۡضَآءَ
wal-baghdaa
and [the] hatred
إِلَىٰ
ila
till
يَوۡمِ
yawmi
(the) Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِۚ
al-qiyamati
(of) the Resurrection
كُلَّمَآ
kullama
Every time
أَوۡقَدُواْ
awqadu
they kindled
نَارٗا
naran
(the) fire
لِّلۡحَرۡبِ
lil'harbi
of [the] war
أَطۡفَأَهَا
atfa-aha
it (was) extinguished
ٱللَّهُۚ
al-lahu
(by) Allah
وَيَسۡعَوۡنَ
wayas'awna
And they strive
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
فَسَادٗاۚ
fasadan
spreading corruption
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
لَا
la
(does) not
يُحِبُّ
yuhibbu
love
ٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ
al-muf'sidina
the corrupters
٦٤

5:65
وَلَوۡ
walaw
And if
أَنَّ
anna
that
أَهۡلَ
ahla
(the) People
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
al-kitabi
(of) the Book
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
(had) believed
وَٱتَّقَوۡاْ
wa-ittaqaw
and feared (Allah)
لَكَفَّرۡنَا
lakaffarna
surely We (would have) removed
عَنۡهُمۡ
anhum
from them
سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمۡ
sayyiatihim
their evil (deeds)
وَلَأَدۡخَلۡنَٰهُمۡ
wala-adkhalnahum
and surely We (would have) admitted them
جَنَّٰتِ
jannati
(to) Gardens
ٱلنَّعِيمِ
al-na'imi
(of) Bliss
٦٥
5:66
وَلَوۡ
walaw
And if
أَنَّهُمۡ
annahum
that they
أَقَامُواْ
aqamu
had stood firmly
ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةَ
al-tawrata
(by) the Taurat
وَٱلۡإِنجِيلَ
wal-injila
and the Injeel
وَمَآ
wama
and what
أُنزِلَ
unzila
was revealed
إِلَيۡهِم
ilayhim
to them
مِّن
min
from
رَّبِّهِمۡ
rabbihim
their Lord
لَأَكَلُواْ
la-akalu
surely they (would have) eaten
مِن
min
from
فَوۡقِهِمۡ
fawqihim
above them
وَمِن
wamin
and from
تَحۡتِ
tahti
beneath
أَرۡجُلِهِمۚ
arjulihim
their feet
مِّنۡهُمۡ
min'hum
Among them
أُمَّةٞ
ummatun
(is) a community
مُّقۡتَصِدَةٞۖ
muq'tasidatun
moderate
وَكَثِيرٞ
wakathirun
but many
مِّنۡهُمۡ
min'hum
of them
سَآءَ
saa
evil
مَا
ma
(is) what
يَعۡمَلُونَ
ya'maluna
they do
٦٦
