4:135
۞يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O you
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe[d]
كُونُواْ
kunu
Be
قَوَّٰمِينَ
qawwamina
custodians
بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ
bil-qis'ti
of justice
شُهَدَآءَ
shuhadaa
(as) witnesses
لِلَّهِ
lillahi
to Allah
وَلَوۡ
walaw
even if
عَلَىٰٓ
ala
(it is) against
أَنفُسِكُمۡ
anfusikum
yourselves
أَوِ
awi
or
ٱلۡوَٰلِدَيۡنِ
al-walidayni
the parents
وَٱلۡأَقۡرَبِينَۚ
wal-aqrabina
and the relatives
إِن
in
if
يَكُنۡ
yakun
he be
غَنِيًّا
ghaniyyan
rich
أَوۡ
aw
or
فَقِيرٗا
faqiran
poor
فَٱللَّهُ
fal-lahu
for Allah
أَوۡلَىٰ
awla
(is) nearer
بِهِمَاۖ
bihima
to both of them
فَلَا
fala
So (do) not
تَتَّبِعُواْ
tattabi'u
follow
ٱلۡهَوَىٰٓ
al-hawa
the desire
أَن
an
lest
تَعۡدِلُواْۚ
ta'dilu
you deviate
وَإِن
wa-in
And if
تَلۡوُۥٓاْ
talwu
you distort
أَوۡ
aw
or
تُعۡرِضُواْ
tu'ridu
refrain
فَإِنَّ
fa-inna
then indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
كَانَ
kana
is
بِمَا
bima
of what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
ta'maluna
you do
خَبِيرٗا
khabiran
All-Aware
١٣٥
4:136
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O you
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
who
ءَامَنُوٓاْ
amanu
believe[d]
ءَامِنُواْ
aminu
Believe
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
in Allah
وَرَسُولِهِۦ
warasulihi
and His Messenger
وَٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
wal-kitabi
and the Book
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
which
نَزَّلَ
nazzala
He revealed
عَلَىٰ
ala
upon
رَسُولِهِۦ
rasulihi
His Messenger
وَٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
wal-kitabi
and the Book
ٱلَّذِيٓ
alladhi
which
أَنزَلَ
anzala
He revealed
مِن
min
from
قَبۡلُۚ
qablu
before
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يَكۡفُرۡ
yakfur
disbelieves
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
in Allah
وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتِهِۦ
wamalaikatihi
and His Angels
وَكُتُبِهِۦ
wakutubihi
and His Books
وَرُسُلِهِۦ
warusulihi
and His Messengers
وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ
wal-yawmi
and the Day
ٱلۡأٓخِرِ
al-akhiri
the Last
فَقَدۡ
faqad
then surely
ضَلَّ
dalla
he (has) lost (the) way
ضَلَٰلَۢا
dalalan
straying
بَعِيدًا
ba'idan
far away
١٣٦
4:137
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believed
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieved
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
(again) believed
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieved
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
ٱزۡدَادُواْ
iz'dadu
increased
كُفۡرٗا
kuf'ran
(in) disbelief
لَّمۡ
lam
not
يَكُنِ
yakuni
will
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
لِيَغۡفِرَ
liyaghfira
forgive
لَهُمۡ
lahum
[for] them
وَلَا
wala
and not
لِيَهۡدِيَهُمۡ
liyahdiyahum
will guide them
سَبِيلَۢا
sabilan
(to) a (right) way
١٣٧
4:138
بَشِّرِ
bashiri
Give tidings
ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ
al-munafiqina
(to) the hypocrites
بِأَنَّ
bi-anna
that
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
عَذَابًا
adhaban
(is) a punishment
أَلِيمًا
aliman
painful
١٣٨
4:139
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
Those who
يَتَّخِذُونَ
yattakhidhuna
take
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
al-kafirina
the disbelievers
أَوۡلِيَآءَ
awliyaa
(as) allies
مِن
min
(from)
دُونِ
duni
instead of
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَۚ
al-mu'minina
the believers
أَيَبۡتَغُونَ
ayabtaghuna
Do they seek
عِندَهُمُ
indahumu
with them
ٱلۡعِزَّةَ
al-'izata
the honor
فَإِنَّ
fa-inna
But indeed
ٱلۡعِزَّةَ
al-'izata
the honor
لِلَّهِ
lillahi
(is) for Allah
جَمِيعٗا
jami'an
all
١٣٩
4:140
وَقَدۡ
waqad
And surely
نَزَّلَ
nazzala
He has revealed
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
alaykum
to you
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
al-kitabi
the Book
أَنۡ
an
that
إِذَا
idha
when
سَمِعۡتُمۡ
sami'tum
you hear
ءَايَٰتِ
ayati
(the) Verses
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
يُكۡفَرُ
yuk'faru
being rejected
بِهَا
biha
[it]
وَيُسۡتَهۡزَأُ
wayus'tahza-u
and ridiculed
بِهَا
biha
at [it]
فَلَا
fala
then do not
تَقۡعُدُواْ
taq'udu
sit
مَعَهُمۡ
ma'ahum
with them
حَتَّىٰ
hatta
until
يَخُوضُواْ
yakhudu
they engage
فِي
fi
in
حَدِيثٍ
hadithin
a conversation
غَيۡرِهِۦٓ
ghayrihi
other than that
إِنَّكُمۡ
innakum
Indeed you
إِذٗا
idhan
then
مِّثۡلُهُمۡۗ
mith'luhum
(would be) like them
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
جَامِعُ
jami'u
will gather
ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ
al-munafiqina
the hypocrites
وَٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
wal-kafirina
and the disbelievers
فِي
fi
in
جَهَنَّمَ
jahannama
Hell
جَمِيعًا
jami'an
all together

4:141
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
Those who
يَتَرَبَّصُونَ
yatarabbasuna
are waiting
بِكُمۡ
bikum
for you
فَإِن
fa-in
Then if
كَانَ
kana
was
لَكُمۡ
lakum
for you
فَتۡحٞ
fathun
a victory
مِّنَ
mina
from
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
قَالُوٓاْ
qalu
they say
أَلَمۡ
alam
Were not
نَكُن
nakun
we
مَّعَكُمۡ
ma'akum
with you
وَإِن
wa-in
But if
كَانَ
kana
(there) was
لِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
lil'kafirina
for the disbelievers
نَصِيبٞ
nasibun
a chance
قَالُوٓاْ
qalu
they said
أَلَمۡ
alam
Did not
نَسۡتَحۡوِذۡ
nastahwidh
we have advantage
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
alaykum
over you
وَنَمۡنَعۡكُم
wanamna'kum
and we protected you
مِّنَ
mina
from
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَۚ
al-mu'minina
the believers
فَٱللَّهُ
fal-lahu
And Allah
يَحۡكُمُ
yahkumu
will judge
بَيۡنَكُمۡ
baynakum
between you
يَوۡمَ
yawma
(on the) Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِۚ
al-qiyamati
(of) the Resurrection
وَلَن
walan
and never
يَجۡعَلَ
yaj'ala
will make
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
لِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
lil'kafirina
for the disbelievers
عَلَى
ala
over
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
al-mu'minina
the believers
سَبِيلًا
sabilan
a way
١٤١
4:142
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ
al-munafiqina
the hypocrites
يُخَٰدِعُونَ
yukhadi'una
(seek to) deceive
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
and (it is) He
خَٰدِعُهُمۡ
khadi'uhum
who deceives them
وَإِذَا
wa-idha
And when
قَامُوٓاْ
qamu
they stand
إِلَى
ila
for
ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ
al-salati
the prayer
قَامُواْ
qamu
they stand
كُسَالَىٰ
kusala
lazily
يُرَآءُونَ
yurauna
showing off
ٱلنَّاسَ
al-nasa
(to) the people
وَلَا
wala
and not
يَذۡكُرُونَ
yadhkuruna
they remember
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
إِلَّا
illa
except
قَلِيلٗا
qalilan
a little
١٤٢
4:143
مُّذَبۡذَبِينَ
mudhabdhabina
Wavering
بَيۡنَ
bayna
between
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
that
لَآ
la
not
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
haulai
these
وَلَآ
wala
and not
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِۚ
haulai
those
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يُضۡلِلِ
yud'lili
has been lead astray
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
(by) Allah
فَلَن
falan
then never
تَجِدَ
tajida
you will find
لَهُۥ
lahu
for him
سَبِيلٗا
sabilan
a way
١٤٣
4:144
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O you
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe[d]
لَا
la
(Do) not
تَتَّخِذُواْ
tattakhidhu
take
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
al-kafirina
the disbelievers
أَوۡلِيَآءَ
awliyaa
(as) allies
مِن
min
from
دُونِ
duni
instead of
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَۚ
al-mu'minina
the believers
أَتُرِيدُونَ
aturiduna
Do you wish
أَن
an
that
تَجۡعَلُواْ
taj'alu
you make
لِلَّهِ
lillahi
for Allah
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
alaykum
against you
سُلۡطَٰنٗا
sul'tanan
an evidence
مُّبِينًا
mubinan
clear
١٤٤
4:145
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ
al-munafiqina
the hypocrites
فِي
fi
(will be) in
ٱلدَّرۡكِ
al-darki
the depths
ٱلۡأَسۡفَلِ
al-asfali
the lowest
مِنَ
mina
of
ٱلنَّارِ
al-nari
the Fire
وَلَن
walan
and never
تَجِدَ
tajida
you will find
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
نَصِيرًا
nasiran
any helper
١٤٥
4:146
إِلَّا
illa
Except
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
تَابُواْ
tabu
repent
وَأَصۡلَحُواْ
wa-aslahu
and correct (themselves)
وَٱعۡتَصَمُواْ
wa-i'tasamu
and hold fast
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
to Allah
وَأَخۡلَصُواْ
wa-akhlasu
and are sincere
دِينَهُمۡ
dinahum
(in) their religion
لِلَّهِ
lillahi
for Allah
فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
fa-ulaika
then those (will be)
مَعَ
ma'a
with
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَۖ
al-mu'minina
the believers
وَسَوۡفَ
wasawfa
And soon
يُؤۡتِ
yu'ti
will be given
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
(by) Allah
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
al-mu'minina
the believers
أَجۡرًا
ajran
a reward
عَظِيمٗا
aziman
great
١٤٦
4:147
مَّا
ma
What
يَفۡعَلُ
yaf 'alu
would do
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
بِعَذَابِكُمۡ
bi'adhabikum
by punishing you
إِن
in
if
شَكَرۡتُمۡ
shakartum
you are grateful
وَءَامَنتُمۡۚ
waamantum
and you believe
وَكَانَ
wakana
And is
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
شَاكِرًا
shakiran
All-Appreciative
عَلِيمٗا
aliman
All-Knowing
