۞وَمِنۡ
Wa-min
And from
أَهۡلِ
ʹAhlil
(the) People
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
Kitaabi
(of) the Book
مَنۡ
man
(is he) who
إِن
ʹiñ
if
تَأۡمَنۡهُ
taʹmanhu
you entrust him
بِقِنطَارٖ
biq̣iñṭaariñy
with a great amount of wealth
يُؤَدِّهِۦٓ
yuʹaddiheee
he will return it
إِلَيۡكَ
ʹilayk.
to you
وَمِنۡهُم
Wa-minhum
And from them
مَّنۡ
man
(is he) who
إِن
ʹiñ
if
تَأۡمَنۡهُ
taʹmanhu
you entrust him
بِدِينَارٖ
bideenaril
with a single coin
لَّا
laa
not
يُؤَدِّهِۦٓ
yuʹaddiheee
he will return it
إِلَيۡكَ
ʹilayka
to you
إِلَّا
illaa
except
مَا
maa-
that
دُمۡتَ
dumta
you keep constantly
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhi
over him
قَآئِمٗاۗ
q̣aaaʹimaa.
standing
ذَٰلِكَ
Ẓaalika
That
بِأَنَّهُمۡ
biʹannahum
(is) because they
قَالُواْ
q̣aaloo
said
لَيۡسَ
laysa
Not
عَلَيۡنَا
ʻalaynaa
on us
فِي
fil
concerning
ٱلۡأُمِّيِّـۧنَ
ʹummiyyeena
the unlettered people
سَبِيلٞ
sabeel.
any [way] (accountability)
وَيَقُولُونَ
Wa-yaq̣ooloona
And they say
عَلَى
ʻalal
about
ٱللَّهِ
laahil
Allah
ٱلۡكَذِبَ
Kaẓiba
the lie
وَهُمۡ
wa-hum
while they
يَعۡلَمُونَ
yaʻlamoon.
