95:4لَقَدۡlaqadIndeedخَلَقۡنَاkhalaqnaWe createdٱلۡإِنسَٰنَal-insanamanفِيٓfiinأَحۡسَنِahsani(the) bestتَقۡوِيمٖtaqwiminmould٤
95:5ثُمَّthummaThenرَدَدۡنَٰهُradadnahuWe returned himأَسۡفَلَasfala(to the) lowestسَٰفِلِينَsafilina(of the) low٥
95:6إِلَّاillaExceptٱلَّذِينَalladhinathose whoءَامَنُواْamanubelieveوَعَمِلُواْwa'amiluand doٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِal-salihatirighteous deedsفَلَهُمۡfalahumthen for themأَجۡرٌajrun(is a) rewardغَيۡرُghayruneverمَمۡنُونٖmamnuninending٦
95:7فَمَاfamaThen whatيُكَذِّبُكَyukadhibukacauses you to denyبَعۡدُba'duafter (this)بِٱلدِّينِbil-dinithe judgment٧
95:8أَلَيۡسَalaysaIs notٱللَّهُal-lahuAllahبِأَحۡكَمِbi-ahkami(the) Most Justٱلۡحَٰكِمِينَal-hakimina(of) the Judges٨
96:1ٱقۡرَأۡiq'raReadبِٱسۡمِbi-is'miin (the) nameرَبِّكَrabbika(of) your Lordٱلَّذِيalladhithe One Whoخَلَقَkhalaqacreated ١
96:11أَرَءَيۡتَara-aytaHave you seenإِنinifكَانَkanahe isعَلَىalauponٱلۡهُدَىٰٓal-huda[the] guidance١١
96:13أَرَءَيۡتَara-aytaHave you seenإِنinifكَذَّبَkadhabahe deniesوَتَوَلَّىٰٓwatawallaand turns away١٣
96:15كـَلَّاkallaNayلَئِنla-inIfلَّمۡlamnotيَنتَهِyantahihe desistsلَنَسۡفَعَۢاlanasfa'ansurely We will drag himبِٱلنَّاصِيَةِbil-nasiyatiby the forelock١٥
96:19كـَلَّاkallaNayلَاla(Do) notتُطِعۡهُtuti'huobey himوَٱسۡجُدۡۤwa-us'judBut prostrateوَٱقۡتَرِب۩wa-iq'tariband draw near (to Allah)١٩
97:1إِنَّآinnaIndeed Weأَنزَلۡنَٰهُanzalnahurevealed itفِيfiinلَيۡلَةِlaylati(the) Nightٱلۡقَدۡرِal-qadri(of) Power١
97:2وَمَآwamaAnd whatأَدۡرَىٰكَadrakacan make you knowمَاmawhatلَيۡلَةُlaylatu(the) Nightٱلۡقَدۡرِal-qadri(of) Power (is)٢
97:3لَيۡلَةُlaylatu(The) Nightٱلۡقَدۡرِal-qadri(of) Powerخَيۡرٞkhayrun(is) betterمِّنۡminthanأَلۡفِalfia thousandشَهۡرٖshahrinmonth(s)٣
97:4تَنَزَّلُtanazzaluDescendٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُal-malaikatuthe Angelsوَٱلرُّوحُwal-ruhuand the Spiritفِيهَاfihathereinبِإِذۡنِbi-idh'niby (the) permissionرَبِّهِمrabbihim(of) their Lordمِّنminforكُلِّkullieveryأَمۡرٖamrinaffair٤
97:5سَلَٰمٌsalamunPeaceهِيَhiyait (is)حَتَّىٰhattauntilمَطۡلَعِmatla'i(the) emergenceٱلۡفَجۡرِal-fajri(of) the dawn٥
98:1لَمۡlamNotيَكُنِyakuniwereٱلَّذِينَalladhinathose whoكَفَرُواْkafarudisbelievedمِنۡminfromأَهۡلِahli(the) Peopleٱلۡكِتَٰبِal-kitabiof the Bookوَٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَwal-mush'rikinaand the polytheistsمُنفَكِّينَmunfakkinato be abandonedحَتَّىٰhattauntilتَأۡتِيَهُمُtatiyahumu(there) comes to themٱلۡبَيِّنَةُal-bayinatuthe clear evidence١
98:2رَسُولٞrasulunA Messengerمِّنَminafromٱللَّهِal-lahiAllahيَتۡلُواْyatlurecitingصُحُفٗاsuhufanpagesمُّطَهَّرَةٗmutahharatanpurified٢
98:4وَمَاwamaAnd notتَفَرَّقَtafarraqabecame dividedٱلَّذِينَalladhinathose whoأُوتُواْutuwere givenٱلۡكِتَٰبَal-kitabathe Bookإِلَّاillauntilمِنۢminfromبَعۡدِba'diafterمَاmawhatجَآءَتۡهُمُjaathumucame (to) themٱلۡبَيِّنَةُal-bayinatu(of) the clear evidence٤
98:5وَمَآwamaAnd notأُمِرُوٓاْumiruthey were commandedإِلَّاillaexceptلِيَعۡبُدُواْliya'buduto worshipٱللَّهَal-lahaAllahمُخۡلِصِينَmukh'lisina(being) sincereلَهُlahuto Himٱلدِّينَal-dina(in) the religionحُنَفَآءَhunafaauprightوَيُقِيمُواْwayuqimuand to establishٱلصَّلَوٰةَal-salatathe prayerوَيُؤۡتُواْwayu'tuand to giveٱلزَّكَوٰةَۚal-zakatathe zakahوَذَٰلِكَwadhalikaAnd thatدِينُdinu(is the) religionٱلۡقَيِّمَةِal-qayimatithe correct٥
98:6إِنَّinnaIndeedٱلَّذِينَalladhinathose whoكَفَرُواْkafarudisbelieveمِنۡminfromأَهۡلِahli(the) Peopleٱلۡكِتَٰبِal-kitabi(of) the Bookوَٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَwal-mush'rikinaand the polytheistsفِيfi(will be) inنَارِnari(the) Fireجَهَنَّمَjahannama(of) Hellخَٰلِدِينَkhalidinaabiding eternallyفِيهَآۚfihathereinأُوْلَٰٓئِكَulaikaThose هُمۡhumtheyشَرُّsharru(are the) worstٱلۡبَرِيَّةِal-bariyati(of) the creatures٦
98:7إِنَّinnaIndeedٱلَّذِينَalladhinathose whoءَامَنُواْamanubelieveوَعَمِلُواْwa'amiluand doٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِal-salihatirighteous deedsأُوْلَٰٓئِكَulaikathose هُمۡhumtheyخَيۡرُkhayru(are the) bestٱلۡبَرِيَّةِal-bariyati(of) the creatures٧
98:8جَزَآؤُهُمۡjazauhumTheir rewardعِندَinda(is) withرَبِّهِمۡrabbihimtheir Lord جَنَّٰتُjannatuGardensعَدۡنٖadnin(of) Eternityتَجۡرِيtajriflowمِنminfromتَحۡتِهَاtahtihaunderneath themٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُal-anharuthe riversخَٰلِدِينَkhalidinawill abideفِيهَآfihathereinأَبَدٗاۖabadanforeverرَّضِيَradiya(will be) pleasedٱللَّهُal-lahuAllahعَنۡهُمۡanhumwith themوَرَضُواْwaraduand they (will be) pleasedعَنۡهُۚanhuwith HimذَٰلِكَdhalikaThatلِمَنۡliman(is) for whoeverخَشِيَkhashiyafearedرَبَّهُۥrabbahuhis Lord٨
99:1إِذَاidhaWhenزُلۡزِلَتِzul'zilatiis shakenٱلۡأَرۡضُal-arduthe earthزِلۡزَالَهَاzil'zalaha(with) its earthquake١
99:2وَأَخۡرَجَتِwa-akhrajatiAnd brings forthٱلۡأَرۡضُal-arduthe earthأَثۡقَالَهَاathqalahaits burdens٢
