۞أَلَمۡ
ʹAlam
Has not
يَأۡنِ
yaʹni
come (the) time
لِلَّذِينَ
lil-laẓeena
for those who
ءَامَنُوٓاْ
ʹaamanooo
believed
أَن
ʹañ
that
تَخۡشَعَ
takhshaʻa
become humble
قُلُوبُهُمۡ
q̣uloobuhum
their hearts
لِذِكۡرِ
liẓikril
at (the) remembrance (of) Allah
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
at (the) remembrance (of) Allah
وَمَا
wa-maa
and what
نَزَلَ
nazala
has come down
مِنَ
minal
of
ٱلۡحَقِّ
Ḥaq̣q̣i
the truth
وَلَا
wa-laa
And not
يَكُونُواْ
yakoonoo
they become
كَٱلَّذِينَ
kallaẓeena
like those who
أُوتُواْ
ʹootul
were given
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
Kitaaba
the Book
مِن
miñ
before
قَبۡلُ
q̣ablu
before
فَطَالَ
faṭaala
(and) was prolonged
عَلَيۡهِمُ
ʻalayhimul
for them
ٱلۡأَمَدُ
ʹamadu
the term
فَقَسَتۡ
faq̣asat
so hardened
قُلُوبُهُمۡۖ
q̣uloobuhum?
their hearts
وَكَثِيرٞ
Wa-kas̤eerum
and many
مِّنۡهُمۡ
minhum
of them
فَٰسِقُونَ
faasiq̣oon.
(are) defiantly disobedient
