56:75

۞فَلَآ

fala

But nay

أُقۡسِمُ

uq'simu

I swear

بِمَوَٰقِعِ

bimawaqi'i

by setting

ٱلنُّجُومِ

al-nujumi

(of) the stars

٧٥

56:76

وَإِنَّهُۥ

wa-innahu

And indeed it

لَقَسَمٞ

laqasamun

(is) surely an oath

لَّوۡ

law

تَعۡلَمُونَ

ta'lamuna

you know

عَظِيمٌ

azimun

great

٧٦

إِنَّهُۥ

innahu

Indeed it

لَقُرۡءَانٞ

laqur'anun

(is) surely a Quran

كَرِيمٞ

karimun

noble

٧٧

56:78

فِي

كِتَٰبٖ

kitabin

a Book

مَّكۡنُونٖ

maknunin

well-guarded

٧٨

56:79

لَّا

None

يَمَسُّهُۥٓ

yamassuhu

touch it

إِلَّا

illa

except

ٱلۡمُطَهَّرُونَ

al-mutaharuna

the purified

٧٩

56:80

تَنزِيلٞ

tanzilun

A Revelation

مِّن

min

from

رَّبِّ

rabbi

(the) Lord

ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

al-'alamina

(of) the worlds

٨٠

56:81

أَفَبِهَٰذَا

afabihadha

Then is it to this

ٱلۡحَدِيثِ

al-hadithi

statement

أَنتُم

antum

that you

مُّدۡهِنُونَ

mud'hinuna

(are) indifferent

٨١

56:82

وَتَجۡعَلُونَ

wataj'aluna

And you make

رِزۡقَكُمۡ

riz'qakum

your provision

أَنَّكُمۡ

annakum

that you

تُكَذِّبُونَ

tukadhibuna

deny

٨٢

56:83

فَلَوۡلَآ

falawla

Then why not

إِذَا

idha

when

بَلَغَتِ

balaghati

it reaches

ٱلۡحُلۡقُومَ

al-hul'quma

the throat

٨٣

56:84

وَأَنتُمۡ

wa-antum

And you

حِينَئِذٖ

hina-idhin

(at) that time

تَنظُرُونَ

tanzuruna

look on

٨٤

56:85

وَنَحۡنُ

wanahnu

And We

أَقۡرَبُ

aqrabu

(are) nearer

إِلَيۡهِ

ilayhi

to him

مِنكُمۡ

minkum

than you

وَلَٰكِن

walakin

but

لَّا

you (do) not see

تُبۡصِرُونَ

tub'siruna

you (do) not see

٨٥

56:86

فَلَوۡلَآ

falawla

Then why not

إِن

كُنتُمۡ

kuntum

you are

غَيۡرَ

ghayra

not

مَدِينِينَ

madinina

to be recompensed

٨٦

56:87

تَرۡجِعُونَهَآ

tarji'unaha

Bring it back

إِن

كُنتُمۡ

kuntum

you are

صَٰدِقِينَ

sadiqina

truthful

٨٧

56:88

فَأَمَّآ

fa-amma

Then

إِن

كَانَ

kana

he was

مِنَ

mina

ٱلۡمُقَرَّبِينَ

al-muqarabina

those brought near

٨٨

56:89

فَرَوۡحٞ

farawhun

Then rest

وَرَيۡحَانٞ

warayhanun

and bounty

وَجَنَّتُ

wajannatu

and a Garden

نَعِيمٖ

na'imin

(of) Pleasure

٨٩

56:90

وَأَمَّآ

wa-amma

And

إِن

كَانَ

kana

he was

مِنۡ

min

أَصۡحَٰبِ

ashabi

(the) companions

ٱلۡيَمِينِ

al-yamini

(of) the right

٩٠

56:91

فَسَلَٰمٞ

fasalamun

Then peace

لَّكَ

laka

for you

مِنۡ

min

[from]

أَصۡحَٰبِ

ashabi

(the) companions

ٱلۡيَمِينِ

al-yamini

(of) the right

٩١

56:92

وَأَمَّآ

wa-amma

But

إِن

كَانَ

kana

he was

مِنَ

mina

ٱلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ

al-mukadhibina

the deniers

ٱلضَّآلِّينَ

al-dalina

the astray

٩٢

56:93

فَنُزُلٞ

fanuzulun

Then hospitality

مِّنۡ

min

حَمِيمٖ

hamimin

(the) scalding water

٩٣

56:94

وَتَصۡلِيَةُ

watasliyatu

And burning

جَحِيمٍ

jahimin

(in) Hellfire

٩٤

56:95

إِنَّ

inna

Indeed

هَٰذَا

hadha

this

لَهُوَ

lahuwa

surely it

حَقُّ

haqqu

(is the) truth

ٱلۡيَقِينِ

al-yaqini

certain

٩٥

56:96

فَسَبِّحۡ

fasabbih

So glorify

بِٱسۡمِ

bi-is'mi

(the) name

رَبِّكَ

rabbika

(of) your Lord

ٱلۡعَظِيمِ

al-'azimi

the Most Great

٩٦

57:1

سَبَّحَ

sabbaha

Glorifies

لِلَّهِ

lillahi

[to] Allah

مَا

whatever

فِي

(is) in

ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ

al-samawati

the heavens

وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ

wal-ardi

and the earth

وَهُوَ

wahuwa

and He

ٱلۡعَزِيزُ

al-'azizu

(is) the All-Mighty

ٱلۡحَكِيمُ

al-hakimu

the All-Wise

57:2

لَهُۥ

lahu

For Him

مُلۡكُ

mul'ku

(is the) dominion

ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ

al-samawati

(of) the heavens

وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ

wal-ardi

and the earth

يُحۡيِۦ

yuh'yi

He gives life

وَيُمِيتُۖ

wayumitu

and causes death

وَهُوَ

wahuwa

and He

عَلَىٰ

ala

(is) over

كُلِّ

kulli

all

شَيۡءٖ

shayin

things

قَدِيرٌ

qadirun

All-Powerful

57:3

هُوَ

huwa

ٱلۡأَوَّلُ

al-awalu

(is) the First

وَٱلۡأٓخِرُ

wal-akhiru

and the Last

وَٱلظَّٰهِرُ

wal-zahiru

and the Apparent

وَٱلۡبَاطِنُۖ

wal-batinu

and the Unapparent

وَهُوَ

wahuwa

and He

بِكُلِّ

bikulli

(is) of every

شَيۡءٍ

shayin

thing

عَلِيمٌ

alimun

All-Knower

57:4

هُوَ

huwa

ٱلَّذِي

alladhi

(is) the One Who

خَلَقَ

khalaqa

created

ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ

al-samawati

the heavens

وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ

wal-arda

and the earth

فِي

سِتَّةِ

sittati

six

أَيَّامٖ

ayyamin

periods

ثُمَّ

thumma

then

ٱسۡتَوَىٰ

is'tawa

He rose

عَلَى

ala

over

ٱلۡعَرۡشِۖ

al-'arshi

the Throne

يَعۡلَمُ

ya'lamu

He knows

مَا

what

يَلِجُ

yaliju

penetrates

فِي

in(to)

ٱلۡأَرۡضِ

al-ardi

the earth

وَمَا

wama

and what

يَخۡرُجُ

yakhruju

comes forth

مِنۡهَا

min'ha

from it

وَمَا

wama

and what

يَنزِلُ

yanzilu

descends

مِنَ

mina

from

ٱلسَّمَآءِ

al-samai

the heaven

وَمَا

wama

and what

يَعۡرُجُ

ya'ruju

ascends

فِيهَاۖ

fiha

therein

وَهُوَ

wahuwa

and He

مَعَكُمۡ

ma'akum

(is) with you

أَيۡنَ

ayna

wherever

مَا

wherever

كُنتُمۡۚ

kuntum

you are

وَٱللَّهُ

wal-lahu

And Allah

بِمَا

bima

of what

تَعۡمَلُونَ

ta'maluna

you do

بَصِيرٞ

basirun

(is) All-seer

57:5

لَّهُۥ

lahu

For Him

مُلۡكُ

mul'ku

(is the) dominion

ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ

al-samawati

(of) the heavens

وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ

wal-ardi

and the earth

وَإِلَى

wa-ila

and to

ٱللَّهِ

al-lahi

Allah

تُرۡجَعُ

tur'ja'u

will be returned

ٱلۡأُمُورُ

al-umuru

the matters

57:6

يُولِجُ

yuliju

He merges

ٱلَّيۡلَ

al-layla

the night

فِي

into

ٱلنَّهَارِ

al-nahari

the day

وَيُولِجُ

wayuliju

and He merges

ٱلنَّهَارَ

al-nahara

the day

فِي

into

ٱلَّيۡلِۚ

al-layli

the night

وَهُوَ

wahuwa

and He

عَلِيمُۢ

alimun

(is) All-Knower

بِذَاتِ

bidhati

of what is in the breasts

ٱلصُّدُورِ

al-suduri

of what is in the breasts

57:7

ءَامِنُواْ

aminu

Believe

بِٱللَّهِ

bil-lahi

in Allah

وَرَسُولِهِۦ

warasulihi

and His Messenger

وَأَنفِقُواْ

wa-anfiqu

and spend

مِمَّا

mimma

of what

جَعَلَكُم

ja'alakum

He has made you

مُّسۡتَخۡلَفِينَ

mus'takhlafina

trustees

فِيهِۖ

fihi

therein

فَٱلَّذِينَ

fa-alladhina

And those

ءَامَنُواْ

amanu

who believe

مِنكُمۡ

minkum

among you

وَأَنفَقُواْ

wa-anfaqu

and spend

لَهُمۡ

lahum

for them

أَجۡرٞ

ajrun

(is) a reward

كَبِيرٞ

kabirun

great

57:8

وَمَا

wama

And what

لَكُمۡ

lakum

(is) for you

لَا

(that) not

تُؤۡمِنُونَ

tu'minuna

you believe

بِٱللَّهِ

bil-lahi

in Allah

وَٱلرَّسُولُ

wal-rasulu

while the Messenger

يَدۡعُوكُمۡ

yad'ukum

calls you

لِتُؤۡمِنُواْ

litu'minu

that you believe

بِرَبِّكُمۡ

birabbikum

in your Lord

وَقَدۡ

waqad

and indeed

أَخَذَ

akhadha

He has taken

مِيثَٰقَكُمۡ

mithaqakum

your covenant

إِن

كُنتُم

kuntum

you are

مُّؤۡمِنِينَ

mu'minina

believers

57:9

هُوَ

huwa

ٱلَّذِي

alladhi

(is) the One Who

يُنَزِّلُ

yunazzilu

sends down

عَلَىٰ

ala

upon

عَبۡدِهِۦٓ

abdihi

His slave

ءَايَٰتِۭ

ayatin

Verses

بَيِّنَٰتٖ

bayyinatin

clear

لِّيُخۡرِجَكُم

liyukh'rijakum

that He may bring you out

مِّنَ

mina

from

ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ

al-zulumati

the darkness[es]

إِلَى

ila

into

ٱلنُّورِۚ

al-nuri

the light

وَإِنَّ

wa-inna

And indeed

ٱللَّهَ

al-laha

Allah

بِكُمۡ

bikum

to you

لَرَءُوفٞ

laraufun

(is the) Most Kind

رَّحِيمٞ

rahimun

(the) Most Merciful

57:10

وَمَا

wama

And what

لَكُمۡ

lakum

(is) for you

أَلَّا

alla

that not

تُنفِقُواْ

tunfiqu

you spend

فِي

سَبِيلِ

sabili

(the) way

ٱللَّهِ

al-lahi

(of) Allah

وَلِلَّهِ

walillahi

while for Allah

مِيرَٰثُ

mirathu

(is the) heritage

ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ

al-samawati

(of) the heavens

وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ

wal-ardi

and the earth

لَا

Not

يَسۡتَوِي

yastawi

are equal

مِنكُم

minkum

among you

مَّنۡ

man

(those) who

أَنفَقَ

anfaqa

spent

مِن

min

before

قَبۡلِ

qabli

before

ٱلۡفَتۡحِ

al-fathi

the victory

وَقَٰتَلَۚ

waqatala

and fought

أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ

ulaika

Those

أَعۡظَمُ

a'zamu

(are) greater

دَرَجَةٗ

darajatan

(in) degree

مِّنَ

mina

than

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhina

those who

أَنفَقُواْ

anfaqu

spent

مِنۢ

min

afterwards

بَعۡدُ

ba'du

afterwards

وَقَٰتَلُواْۚ

waqatalu

and fought

وَكُلّٗا

wakullan

But to all

وَعَدَ

wa'ada

Allah has promised

ٱللَّهُ

al-lahu

Allah has promised

ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰۚ

al-hus'na

the best

وَٱللَّهُ

wal-lahu

And Allah

بِمَا

bima

of what

تَعۡمَلُونَ

ta'maluna

you do

خَبِيرٞ

khabirun

(is) All-Aware

١٠

57:11

مَّن

man

Who (is)

ذَا

dha

the one who

ٱلَّذِي

alladhi

the one who

يُقۡرِضُ

yuq'ridu

will loan

ٱللَّهَ

al-laha

(to) Allah

قَرۡضًا

qardan

a loan

حَسَنٗا

hasanan

goodly

فَيُضَٰعِفَهُۥ

fayuda'ifahu

so He will multiply it

لَهُۥ

lahu

for him

وَلَهُۥٓ

walahu

and for him

أَجۡرٞ

ajrun

(is) a reward

كَرِيمٞ

karimun

noble

يَوۡمَ

yawma

(On the) Day

تَرَى

tara

you will see

ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

al-mu'minina

the believing men

وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِ

wal-mu'minati

and the believing women

يَسۡعَىٰ

yas'a

running

نُورُهُم

nuruhum

their light

بَيۡنَ

bayna

before them

أَيۡدِيهِمۡ

aydihim

before them

وَبِأَيۡمَٰنِهِمۖ

wabi-aymanihim

and on their right

بُشۡرَىٰكُمُ

bush'rakumu

Glad tidings for you

ٱلۡيَوۡمَ

al-yawma

this Day

جَنَّٰتٞ

jannatun

gardens

تَجۡرِي

tajri

flowing

مِن

min

from

تَحۡتِهَا

tahtiha

underneath it

ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ

al-anharu

the rivers

خَٰلِدِينَ

khalidina

abiding forever

فِيهَاۚ

fiha

therein

ذَٰلِكَ

dhalika

That

هُوَ

huwa

[it] (is)

ٱلۡفَوۡزُ

al-fawzu

the success

ٱلۡعَظِيمُ

al-'azimu

the great

١٢

57:13

يَوۡمَ

yawma

(On the) Day

يَقُولُ

yaqulu

will say

ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقُونَ

al-munafiquna

the hypocrite men

وَٱلۡمُنَٰفِقَٰتُ

wal-munafiqatu

and the hypocrite women

لِلَّذِينَ

lilladhina

to those who

ءَامَنُواْ

amanu

believed

ٱنظُرُونَا

unzuruna

Wait for us

نَقۡتَبِسۡ

naqtabis

we may acquire

مِن

min

نُّورِكُمۡ

nurikum

your light

قِيلَ

qila

It will be said

ٱرۡجِعُواْ

ir'ji'u

Go back

وَرَآءَكُمۡ

waraakum

behind you

فَٱلۡتَمِسُواْ

fal-tamisu

and seek

نُورٗاۖ

nuran

light

فَضُرِبَ

faduriba

Then will be put up

بَيۡنَهُم

baynahum

between them

بِسُورٖ

bisurin

a wall

لَّهُۥ

lahu

for it

بَابُۢ

babun

a gate

بَاطِنُهُۥ

batinuhu

its interior

فِيهِ

fihi

in it

ٱلرَّحۡمَةُ

al-rahmatu

(is) mercy

وَظَٰهِرُهُۥ

wazahiruhu

but its exterior

مِن

min

facing towards [it]

قِبَلِهِ

qibalihi

facing towards [it]

ٱلۡعَذَابُ

al-'adhabu

the punishment

١٣

57:14

يُنَادُونَهُمۡ

yunadunahum

They will call them

أَلَمۡ

alam

Were not

نَكُن

nakun

مَّعَكُمۡۖ

ma'akum

with you

قَالُواْ

qalu

They will say

بَلَىٰ

bala

Yes

وَلَٰكِنَّكُمۡ

walakinnakum

but you

فَتَنتُمۡ

fatantum

led to temptation

أَنفُسَكُمۡ

anfusakum

yourselves

وَتَرَبَّصۡتُمۡ

watarabbastum

and you awaited

وَٱرۡتَبۡتُمۡ

wa-ir'tabtum

and you doubted

وَغَرَّتۡكُمُ

wagharratkumu

and deceived you

ٱلۡأَمَانِيُّ

al-amaniyu

the wishful thinking

حَتَّىٰ

hatta

until

جَآءَ

jaa

came

أَمۡرُ

amru

(the) Command

ٱللَّهِ

al-lahi

(of) Allah

وَغَرَّكُم

wagharrakum

And deceived you

بِٱللَّهِ

bil-lahi

about Allah

ٱلۡغَرُورُ

al-gharuru

the deceiver

١٤

57:15

فَٱلۡيَوۡمَ

fal-yawma

So today

لَا

not

يُؤۡخَذُ

yu'khadhu

will be accepted

مِنكُمۡ

minkum

from you

فِدۡيَةٞ

fid'yatun

any ransom

وَلَا

wala

and not

مِنَ

mina

from

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhina

those who

كَفَرُواْۚ

kafaru

disbelieved

مَأۡوَىٰكُمُ

mawakumu

Your abode

ٱلنَّارُۖ

al-naru

(is) the Fire

هِيَ

hiya

it (is)

مَوۡلَىٰكُمۡۖ

mawlakum

your protector

وَبِئۡسَ

wabi'sa

and wretched is

ٱلۡمَصِيرُ

al-masiru

the destination

١٥
