54:9
۞كَذَّبَتۡ
kadhabat
Denied
قَبۡلَهُمۡ
qablahum
before them
قَوۡمُ
qawmu
(the) people
نُوحٖ
nuhin
(of) Nuh
فَكَذَّبُواْ
fakadhabu
and they denied
عَبۡدَنَا
abdana
Our slave
وَقَالُواْ
waqalu
and said
مَجۡنُونٞ
majnunun
A madman
وَٱزۡدُجِرَ
wa-uz'dujira
and he was repelled
٩
54:10
فَدَعَا
fada'a
So he called
رَبَّهُۥٓ
rabbahu
his Lord
أَنِّي
anni
I am
مَغۡلُوبٞ
maghlubun
one overpowered
فَٱنتَصِرۡ
fa-intasir
so help
١٠
54:11
فَفَتَحۡنَآ
fafatahna
So We opened
أَبۡوَٰبَ
abwaba
(the) gates
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
al-samai
(of) heaven
بِمَآءٖ
bimain
with water
مُّنۡهَمِرٖ
mun'hamirin
pouring down
١١
54:12
وَفَجَّرۡنَا
wafajjarna
And We caused to burst
ٱلۡأَرۡضَ
al-arda
the earth
عُيُونٗا
uyunan
(with) springs
فَٱلۡتَقَى
fal-taqa
so met
ٱلۡمَآءُ
al-mau
the water(s)
عَلَىٰٓ
ala
for
أَمۡرٖ
amrin
a matter
قَدۡ
qad
already
قُدِرَ
qudira
predestined
١٢
54:13
وَحَمَلۡنَٰهُ
wahamalnahu
And We carried him
عَلَىٰ
ala
on
ذَاتِ
dhati
(ark) made of planks
أَلۡوَٰحٖ
alwahin
(ark) made of planks
وَدُسُرٖ
wadusurin
and nails
١٣
54:14
تَجۡرِي
tajri
Sailing
بِأَعۡيُنِنَا
bi-a'yunina
before Our eyes
جَزَآءٗ
jazaan
a reward
لِّمَن
liman
for (he) who
كَانَ
kana
was
كُفِرَ
kufira
denied
١٤
54:15
وَلَقَد
walaqad
And certainly
تَّرَكۡنَٰهَآ
taraknaha
We left it
ءَايَةٗ
ayatan
(as) a Sign
فَهَلۡ
fahal
so is (there)
مِن
min
any
مُّدَّكِرٖ
muddakirin
who will receive admonition

54:16
فَكَيۡفَ
fakayfa
So how
كَانَ
kana
was
عَذَابِي
adhabi
My punishment
وَنُذُرِ
wanudhuri
and My warnings
١٦
54:17
وَلَقَدۡ
walaqad
And certainly
يَسَّرۡنَا
yassarna
We have made easy
ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ
al-qur'ana
the Quran
لِلذِّكۡرِ
lildhik'ri
for remembrance
فَهَلۡ
fahal
so is (there)
مِن
min
any
مُّدَّكِرٖ
muddakirin
who will receive admonition

54:18
كَذَّبَتۡ
kadhabat
Denied
عَادٞ
adun
Aad
فَكَيۡفَ
fakayfa
so how
كَانَ
kana
was
عَذَابِي
adhabi
My punishment
وَنُذُرِ
wanudhuri
and My warnings
١٨
54:19
إِنَّآ
inna
Indeed We
أَرۡسَلۡنَا
arsalna
[We] sent
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
alayhim
upon them
رِيحٗا
rihan
a wind
صَرۡصَرٗا
sarsaran
furious
فِي
fi
on
يَوۡمِ
yawmi
a day
نَحۡسٖ
nahsin
(of) misfortune
مُّسۡتَمِرّٖ
mus'tamirrin
continuous

54:20
تَنزِعُ
tanzi'u
Plucking out
ٱلنَّاسَ
al-nasa
men
كَأَنَّهُمۡ
ka-annahum
as if they (were)
أَعۡجَازُ
a'jazu
trunks
نَخۡلٖ
nakhlin
(of) date-palms
مُّنقَعِرٖ
munqa'irin
uprooted
٢٠
54:21
فَكَيۡفَ
fakayfa
So how
كَانَ
kana
was
عَذَابِي
adhabi
My punishment
وَنُذُرِ
wanudhuri
and My warnings

54:22
وَلَقَدۡ
walaqad
And certainly
يَسَّرۡنَا
yassarna
We have made easy
ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ
al-qur'ana
the Quran
لِلذِّكۡرِ
lildhik'ri
for remembrance
فَهَلۡ
fahal
so is (there)
مِن
min
any
مُّدَّكِرٖ
muddakirin
who will receive admonition

54:23
كَذَّبَتۡ
kadhabat
Denied
ثَمُودُ
thamudu
Thamud
بِٱلنُّذُرِ
bil-nudhuri
the warnings
٢٣
54:24
فَقَالُوٓاْ
faqalu
And said
أَبَشَرٗا
abasharan
Is (it) a human being
مِّنَّا
minna
among us
وَٰحِدٗا
wahidan
one
نَّتَّبِعُهُۥٓ
nattabi'uhu
(that) we should follow him
إِنَّآ
inna
Indeed we
إِذٗا
idhan
then
لَّفِي
lafi
(will be) surely in
ضَلَٰلٖ
dalalin
error
وَسُعُرٍ
wasu'urin
and madness
٢٤
54:25
أَءُلۡقِيَ
a-ul'qiya
Has been sent
ٱلذِّكۡرُ
al-dhik'ru
the Reminder
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
to him
مِنۢ
min
from
بَيۡنِنَا
baynina
among us
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
هُوَ
huwa
he
كَذَّابٌ
kadhabun
(is) a liar
أَشِرٞ
ashirun
insolent
٢٥
54:26
سَيَعۡلَمُونَ
saya'lamuna
They will know
غَدٗا
ghadan
tomorrow
مَّنِ
mani
who
ٱلۡكَذَّابُ
al-kadhabu
(is) the liar
ٱلۡأَشِرُ
al-ashiru
the insolent one
٢٦
54:27
إِنَّا
inna
Indeed We
مُرۡسِلُواْ
mur'silu
(are) sending
ٱلنَّاقَةِ
al-naqati
the she-camel
فِتۡنَةٗ
fit'natan
(as) a trial
لَّهُمۡ
lahum
for them
فَٱرۡتَقِبۡهُمۡ
fa-ir'taqib'hum
so watch them
وَٱصۡطَبِرۡ
wa-is'tabir
and be patient

وَنَبِّئۡهُمۡ
wanabbi'hum
And inform them
أَنَّ
anna
that
ٱلۡمَآءَ
al-maa
the water
قِسۡمَةُۢ
qis'matun
(is) to be shared
بَيۡنَهُمۡۖ
baynahum
between them
كُلُّ
kullu
each
شِرۡبٖ
shir'bin
drink
مُّحۡتَضَرٞ
muh'tadarun
attended

54:29
فَنَادَوۡاْ
fanadaw
But they called
صَاحِبَهُمۡ
sahibahum
their companion
فَتَعَاطَىٰ
fata'ata
and he took
فَعَقَرَ
fa'aqara
and hamstrung
٢٩
54:30
فَكَيۡفَ
fakayfa
So how
كَانَ
kana
was
عَذَابِي
adhabi
My punishment
وَنُذُرِ
wanudhuri
and My warnings
٣٠
54:31
إِنَّآ
inna
Indeed We
أَرۡسَلۡنَا
arsalna
[We] sent
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
alayhim
upon them
صَيۡحَةٗ
sayhatan
thunderous blast
وَٰحِدَةٗ
wahidatan
single
فَكَانُواْ
fakanu
and they became
كَهَشِيمِ
kahashimi
like dry twig fragments
ٱلۡمُحۡتَظِرِ
al-muh'taziri
(used by) a fence builder

54:32
وَلَقَدۡ
walaqad
And certainly
يَسَّرۡنَا
yassarna
We have made easy
ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ
al-qur'ana
the Quran
لِلذِّكۡرِ
lildhik'ri
for remembrance
فَهَلۡ
fahal
so is (there)
مِن
min
any
مُّدَّكِرٖ
muddakirin
who will receive admonition

54:33
كَذَّبَتۡ
kadhabat
Denied
قَوۡمُ
qawmu
(the) people
لُوطِۭ
lutin
(of) Lut
بِٱلنُّذُرِ
bil-nudhuri
the warnings
٣٣
