One of the 240 subdivisions of the Quran (quarter of a Hizb)

3:15
۞قُلۡ
qul
Say
أَؤُنَبِّئُكُم
a-unabbi-ukum
Shall I inform you
بِخَيۡرٖ
bikhayrin
of better
مِّن
min
than
ذَٰلِكُمۡۖ
dhalikum
that
لِلَّذِينَ
lilladhina
For those who
ٱتَّقَوۡاْ
ittaqaw
fear[ed]
عِندَ
inda
with
رَبِّهِمۡ
rabbihim
their Lord
جَنَّٰتٞ
jannatun
(are) Gardens
تَجۡرِي
tajri
flows
مِن
min
from
تَحۡتِهَا
tahtiha
underneath them
ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ
al-anharu
[the] rivers
خَٰلِدِينَ
khalidina
abiding forever
فِيهَا
fiha
in it
وَأَزۡوَٰجٞ
wa-azwajun
and spouses
مُّطَهَّرَةٞ
mutahharatun
pure
وَرِضۡوَٰنٞ
warid'wanun
and approval
مِّنَ
mina
from
ٱللَّهِۗ
al-lahi
Allah
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
بَصِيرُۢ
basirun
(is) All-Seer
بِٱلۡعِبَادِ
bil-'ibadi
of (His) slaves

3:16
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
Those who
يَقُولُونَ
yaquluna
say
رَبَّنَآ
rabbana
Our Lord
إِنَّنَآ
innana
Indeed we
ءَامَنَّا
amanna
(have) believed
فَٱغۡفِرۡ
fa-igh'fir
so forgive
لَنَا
lana
for us
ذُنُوبَنَا
dhunubana
our sins
وَقِنَا
waqina
and save us
عَذَابَ
adhaba
(from) punishment
ٱلنَّارِ
al-nari
(of) the Fire
١٦
3:17
ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ
al-sabirina
The patient
وَٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
wal-sadiqina
and the truthful
وَٱلۡقَٰنِتِينَ
wal-qanitina
and the obedient
وَٱلۡمُنفِقِينَ
wal-munfiqina
and those who spend
وَٱلۡمُسۡتَغۡفِرِينَ
wal-mus'taghfirina
and those who seek forgiveness
بِٱلۡأَسۡحَارِ
bil-ashari
[in the] before dawn
١٧
3:18
شَهِدَ
shahida
Bears witness
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
أَنَّهُۥ
annahu
that [He]
لَآ
la
(there is) no
إِلَٰهَ
ilaha
god
إِلَّا
illa
except
هُوَ
huwa
Him
وَٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ
wal-malaikatu
and (so do) the Angels
وَأُوْلُواْ
wa-ulu
and owners
ٱلۡعِلۡمِ
al-'il'mi
(of) [the] knowledge
قَآئِمَۢا
qaiman
standing
بِٱلۡقِسۡطِۚ
bil-qis'ti
in justice
لَآ
la
(There is) no
إِلَٰهَ
ilaha
god
إِلَّا
illa
except
هُوَ
huwa
Him
ٱلۡعَزِيزُ
al-'azizu
the All-Mighty
ٱلۡحَكِيمُ
al-hakimu
the All-Wise
١٨
3:19
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلدِّينَ
al-dina
the religion
عِندَ
inda
near
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
ٱلۡإِسۡلَٰمُۗ
al-is'lamu
(is) Islam
وَمَا
wama
And not
ٱخۡتَلَفَ
ikh'talafa
differed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
أُوتُواْ
utu
were given
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
al-kitaba
the Book
إِلَّا
illa
except
مِنۢ
min
from
بَعۡدِ
ba'di
after
مَا
ma
[what]
جَآءَهُمُ
jaahumu
came to them
ٱلۡعِلۡمُ
al-'il'mu
[the] knowledge
بَغۡيَۢا
baghyan
out of envy
بَيۡنَهُمۡۗ
baynahum
among them
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يَكۡفُرۡ
yakfur
disbelieves
بِـَٔايَٰتِ
biayati
in (the) Verses
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
فَإِنَّ
fa-inna
then indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
سَرِيعُ
sari'u
(is) swift
ٱلۡحِسَابِ
al-hisabi
(in taking) account
١٩
3:20
فَإِنۡ
fa-in
Then if
حَآجُّوكَ
hajjuka
they argue with you
فَقُلۡ
faqul
then say
أَسۡلَمۡتُ
aslamtu
I have submitted
وَجۡهِيَ
wajhiya
myself
لِلَّهِ
lillahi
to Allah
وَمَنِ
wamani
and (those) who
ٱتَّبَعَنِۗ
ittaba'ani
follow me
وَقُل
waqul
And say
لِّلَّذِينَ
lilladhina
to those who
أُوتُواْ
utu
were given
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
al-kitaba
the Book
وَٱلۡأُمِّيِّـۧنَ
wal-umiyina
and the unlettered people
ءَأَسۡلَمۡتُمۡۚ
a-aslamtum
Have you submitted yourselves
فَإِنۡ
fa-in
Then if
أَسۡلَمُواْ
aslamu
they submit
فَقَدِ
faqadi
then surely
ٱهۡتَدَواْۖ
ih'tadaw
they are guided
وَّإِن
wa-in
But if
تَوَلَّوۡاْ
tawallaw
they turn back
فَإِنَّمَا
fa-innama
then only
عَلَيۡكَ
alayka
on you
ٱلۡبَلَٰغُۗ
al-balaghu
(is) to [the] convey
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
بَصِيرُۢ
basirun
(is) All-Seer
بِٱلۡعِبَادِ
bil-'ibadi
of [His] slaves
٢٠
3:21
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
يَكۡفُرُونَ
yakfuruna
disbelieve
بِـَٔايَٰتِ
biayati
in (the) Signs (of)
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
وَيَقۡتُلُونَ
wayaqtuluna
and they kill
ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ
al-nabiyina
the Prophets
بِغَيۡرِ
bighayri
without
حَقّٖ
haqqin
right
وَيَقۡتُلُونَ
wayaqtuluna
and they kill
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
يَأۡمُرُونَ
yamuruna
order
بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ
bil-qis'ti
[with] justice
مِنَ
mina
among
ٱلنَّاسِ
al-nasi
the people
فَبَشِّرۡهُم
fabashir'hum
then give them tidings
بِعَذَابٍ
bi'adhabin
of a punishment
أَلِيمٍ
alimin
painful
٢١
3:22
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
Those
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
(are) the ones who
حَبِطَتۡ
habitat
became worthless
أَعۡمَٰلُهُمۡ
a'maluhum
their deeds
فِي
fi
in
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
al-dun'ya
the world
وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ
wal-akhirati
and (in) the Hereafter
وَمَا
wama
And not
لَهُم
lahum
(will be) for them
مِّن
min
any
نَّٰصِرِينَ
nasirina
helpers
٢٢

3:23
أَلَمۡ
alam
Have not
تَرَ
tara
you seen
إِلَى
ila
[to]
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
أُوتُواْ
utu
were given
نَصِيبٗا
nasiban
a portion
مِّنَ
mina
of
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
al-kitabi
the Scripture
يُدۡعَوۡنَ
yud'awna
They are invited
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
كِتَٰبِ
kitabi
(the) Book
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
لِيَحۡكُمَ
liyahkuma
that (it should) arbitrate
بَيۡنَهُمۡ
baynahum
between them
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
يَتَوَلَّىٰ
yatawalla
turns away
فَرِيقٞ
fariqun
a party
مِّنۡهُمۡ
min'hum
of them
وَهُم
wahum
and they (are)
مُّعۡرِضُونَ
mu'riduna
those who are averse
٢٣
3:24
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
بِأَنَّهُمۡ
bi-annahum
(is) because they
قَالُواْ
qalu
say
لَن
lan
Never
تَمَسَّنَا
tamassana
will touch us
ٱلنَّارُ
al-naru
the Fire
إِلَّآ
illa
except
أَيَّامٗا
ayyaman
(for) days
مَّعۡدُودَٰتٖۖ
ma'dudatin
numbered
وَغَرَّهُمۡ
wagharrahum
And deceived them
فِي
fi
in
دِينِهِم
dinihim
their religion
مَّا
ma
what
كَانُواْ
kanu
they were
يَفۡتَرُونَ
yaftaruna
inventing
٢٤
3:25
فَكَيۡفَ
fakayfa
Then how (will it be)
إِذَا
idha
when
جَمَعۡنَٰهُمۡ
jama'nahum
We will gather them
لِيَوۡمٖ
liyawmin
on a Day
لَّا
la
no
رَيۡبَ
rayba
doubt
فِيهِ
fihi
in it
وَوُفِّيَتۡ
wawuffiyat
And will be paid in full
كُلُّ
kullu
every
نَفۡسٖ
nafsin
soul
مَّا
ma
what
كَسَبَتۡ
kasabat
it earned
وَهُمۡ
wahum
and they
لَا
la
(will) not
يُظۡلَمُونَ
yuz'lamuna
be wronged
٢٥
3:26
قُلِ
quli
Say
ٱللَّهُمَّ
al-lahuma
O Allah
مَٰلِكَ
malika
Owner
ٱلۡمُلۡكِ
al-mul'ki
(of) the Dominion
تُؤۡتِي
tu'ti
You give
ٱلۡمُلۡكَ
al-mul'ka
the dominion
مَن
man
(to) whom
تَشَآءُ
tashau
You will
وَتَنزِعُ
watanzi'u
and You take away
ٱلۡمُلۡكَ
al-mul'ka
the dominion
مِمَّن
mimman
from whom
تَشَآءُ
tashau
You will
وَتُعِزُّ
watu'izzu
and You honor
مَن
man
whom
تَشَآءُ
tashau
You will
وَتُذِلُّ
watudhillu
and You humiliate
مَن
man
whom
تَشَآءُۖ
tashau
You will
بِيَدِكَ
biyadika
In Your hand
ٱلۡخَيۡرُۖ
al-khayru
(is all) the good
إِنَّكَ
innaka
Indeed You
عَلَىٰ
ala
(are) on
كُلِّ
kulli
every
شَيۡءٖ
shayin
thing
قَدِيرٞ
qadirun
All-Powerful
٢٦
3:27
تُولِجُ
tuliju
You cause to enter
ٱلَّيۡلَ
al-layla
the night
فِي
fi
in
ٱلنَّهَارِ
al-nahari
the day
وَتُولِجُ
watuliju
and You cause to enter
ٱلنَّهَارَ
al-nahara
the day
فِي
fi
in
ٱلَّيۡلِۖ
al-layli
the night
وَتُخۡرِجُ
watukh'riju
and You bring forth
ٱلۡحَيَّ
al-haya
the living
مِنَ
mina
from
ٱلۡمَيِّتِ
al-mayiti
the dead
وَتُخۡرِجُ
watukh'riju
and You bring forth
ٱلۡمَيِّتَ
al-mayita
the dead
مِنَ
mina
from
ٱلۡحَيِّۖ
al-hayi
the living
وَتَرۡزُقُ
watarzuqu
and You give provision
مَن
man
(to) whom
تَشَآءُ
tashau
You will
بِغَيۡرِ
bighayri
without
حِسَابٖ
hisabin
measure
٢٧
3:28
لَّا
la
(Let) not
يَتَّخِذِ
yattakhidhi
take
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ
al-mu'minuna
the believers
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
al-kafirina
the disbelievers
أَوۡلِيَآءَ
awliyaa
(as) allies
مِن
min
from
دُونِ
duni
instead of
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَۖ
al-mu'minina
the believers
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يَفۡعَلۡ
yaf 'al
does
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
that
فَلَيۡسَ
falaysa
then not he (has)
مِنَ
mina
from
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
فِي
fi
in
شَيۡءٍ
shayin
anything
إِلَّآ
illa
except
أَن
an
that
تَتَّقُواْ
tattaqu
you fear
مِنۡهُمۡ
min'hum
from them
تُقَىٰةٗۗ
tuqatan
(as) a precaution
وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ
wayuhadhirukumu
And warns you
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
نَفۡسَهُۥۗ
nafsahu
(of) Himself
وَإِلَى
wa-ila
and to
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
ٱلۡمَصِيرُ
al-masiru
(is) the final return
٢٨
3:29
قُلۡ
qul
Say
إِن
in
Whether
تُخۡفُواْ
tukh'fu
you conceal
مَا
ma
what
فِي
fi
(is) in
صُدُورِكُمۡ
sudurikum
your breasts
أَوۡ
aw
or
تُبۡدُوهُ
tub'duhu
you disclose it
يَعۡلَمۡهُ
ya'lamhu
knows it
ٱللَّهُۗ
al-lahu
Allah
وَيَعۡلَمُ
waya'lamu
And He knows
مَا
ma
what
فِي
fi
(is) in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَمَا
wama
and what
فِي
fi
(is) in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِۗ
al-ardi
the earth
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
عَلَىٰ
ala
(is) on
كُلِّ
kulli
every
شَيۡءٖ
shayin
thing
قَدِيرٞ
qadirun
All-Powerful
٢٩

3:30
يَوۡمَ
yawma
(On the) day
تَجِدُ
tajidu
will find
كُلُّ
kullu
every
نَفۡسٖ
nafsin
soul
مَّا
ma
what
عَمِلَتۡ
amilat
it did
مِنۡ
min
of
خَيۡرٖ
khayrin
good
مُّحۡضَرٗا
muh'daran
presented
وَمَا
wama
and what
عَمِلَتۡ
amilat
it did
مِن
min
of
سُوٓءٖ
suin
evil
تَوَدُّ
tawaddu
it will wish
لَوۡ
law
[if]
أَنَّ
anna
that
بَيۡنَهَا
baynaha
between itself
وَبَيۡنَهُۥٓ
wabaynahu
and between it (evil)
أَمَدَۢا
amadan
(was) a distance
بَعِيدٗاۗ
ba'idan
great
وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ
wayuhadhirukumu
And warns you
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
نَفۡسَهُۥۗ
nafsahu
(against) Himself
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
and Allah
رَءُوفُۢ
raufun
(is) Most Kind
بِٱلۡعِبَادِ
bil-'ibadi
to (His) [the] slaves
٣٠
3:31
قُلۡ
qul
Say
إِن
in
If
كُنتُمۡ
kuntum
you
تُحِبُّونَ
tuhibbuna
love
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
فَٱتَّبِعُونِي
fa-ittabi'uni
then follow me
يُحۡبِبۡكُمُ
yuh'bib'kumu
will love you
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
وَيَغۡفِرۡ
wayaghfir
and He will forgive
لَكُمۡ
lakum
for you
ذُنُوبَكُمۡۚ
dhunubakum
your sins
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
غَفُورٞ
ghafurun
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٞ
rahimun
Most Merciful
٣١
3:32
قُلۡ
qul
Say
أَطِيعُواْ
ati'u
Obey
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَٱلرَّسُولَۖ
wal-rasula
and the Messenger
فَإِن
fa-in
Then if
تَوَلَّوۡاْ
tawallaw
they turn away
فَإِنَّ
fa-inna
then indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
لَا
la
(does) not
يُحِبُّ
yuhibbu
love
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
al-kafirina
the disbelievers
٣٢
